Romancing The MEK: America's Love Affair With Terrorists America has had a long-standing love affair with terrorists. Support for terrorist groups and governments has been part and parcel of American policy. According to William Odom, President Reagan's former NSA Director, terrorism is a tactic with the having a long record of supporting terrorists. But what is unique and novel about romancing the MEK is the political elite's brazen public display of support for the group[MKO/MEK/PMOI],..

Lord Colbert does not do his title justice The case of Mojahedeen-e Khalg (MEK) showcases the ever present imperial influence of the West in defining the ‘other’ due to the ownership of language. The hypocrisy is stark given that the U.S. with the help of her ally the British waged a ‘war on terror’ which has resulted in the death of over a million people to date. Yet, a certain Lord Corbett of Castle Vale, a member of the House of Lords from Gordon Brown's ruling Labor Party, has coauthored an opinion piece with Congressman Bob Filner ...

Terror Most Imperial Lord Colbert does not do his title justice; to paraphrase Samuel Butler, a degenerate nobleman is like a turnip. There is nothing good of him but that which is under ground. Else how can he explain throwing in his lot with terrorists who are in the employ of Israel? "Israel is said to have had a relationship with the M.E.K at least since the late nineties, and to have supplied a satellite signal for N.C.RI. broadcasts from Paris into Iran”

Sister Hillary Hillary knowingly supported the Iraq war to defend the “future of freedom”. In her drive for the Iraq war, she was supported by the Progressive Policy Institute, a self-described think-tank of the Democratic Leadership Council[i]. Perhaps no one describes the group better than former neoconservative Jacob Heilbrunn who wrote: “Don't look now, but neoconservatism is making a comeback-and not among the Republicans who have made it famous, but in the Democratic Party ....

Member of Parliament for Hire? According to credible sources, the approximate number of this terrorist cult was estimated at no more than 10,000 members, with followers fast dwindling, no doubt due to its outrageous cult-like militant ideology. Given that the MEK took up arms against fellow Iranians and fought alongside Saddam Hussein’s forces, Iranians see them as traitors and murderers, naught more. While Tony Blair plagiarized papers to enable George W. Bush to invade Iraq in search of Saddam’s non-existent WMD and the ‘war on terror’

What must be of particular concern to any Iranian with a sense of patriotism is the reality of Iran’s exhaustible fossil fuels. Due to an increase in demand and decrease in supply, Iran will find itself wanting for its energy needs in the next decade [iii]. Had the leaders who praised the sanctions spent less time pursuing their ambitions and more time studying Iran’s national interest, they would realize that Iran is in a dire situation

It did not surprise me that a Jewish Rabbi should defend the treachery of the MEK; after all, it is common knowledge that their string is pulled by Israel. What did surprise me is that they should lack the wit to be so open about it and show their hands. But then again, maybe I am the naiive one, after all, the United States and the whole world is being run by Israel. What is a little fiasco here and there that they should even bother to hide? Silly me.

This 'publicly supported independent economic think tank' which has received a landmark multi-year grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles to help the 'independent' research of Milken realize its goal of establishing Israel as one of the top 10 countries in terms of quality of life and GDP per capita[i], was hosting author and Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations Max Boot on November 9th. He was launching his new book "War Made New:

For years now I have shuddered every time a Western country has made contact with the MEK; whether it was their spokesperson Jafarzadeh, or with Maryam Rajavi, or some other low-life. Anxiety would fill every conscious hour of my day and even creep into my resting hours and torment me to think that Congress was working on taking these traitors off their Foreign Terrorist Organization list. How could Maryam Rajavi be allowed to live comfortably in a Paris suburb, this woman who is the leader of a terrorist cult?

It would seem that there is a great deal at stake for the 150 MEK supporters in Congress. Whether it is these congressional members who are providing Jafarzadeh, the MEK spokesman, with aerial photos of Iran's nuclear facilities, or vice versa, the Bush administration is having a field day with it at the UN General Assembly.
