The International Committee of the Red Cross has helped with the voluntary repatriation of a lot of People's Mujahedeen, over five years.
ICRC spokeswoman Dibeh Fakhr in Iraq told reporters 260 former members of MKO had been repatriated between the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003 and April 2008, after having asked to return to Iran. Two more Mujahedeen members have since also returned home.
Red Cross is currently engaged in case of MKO defectors and Iraqi people and their government are determined to send members of the MKO out of Iraq.
Nearly 550 MKO members have disbanded from the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq organization over the past three years and returned to Iran with the assistance of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent.
