MEK terrorists disguised as charity people

The formerly designated terrorist of the Mujahedin-e Khalq has sent its agents among the Albanian vulnerable groups and the community of Durres region under the cover of charitable activities.

The MEK’s rank and file are located in the village of Manez in Durres in a barred camp called Ashraf 3. Regarding the violent past of the group with a background of numerous terrorist activities and cult-like attitudes. The group threatens the lives and peace of Albanian citizens, risking their public safety under the cover of providing free medical services to vulnerable groups and the community.

The mayor of Durres, Emiriana Sako, who seems to be perfectly blackmailed by the MEK agents, have posted pictures of the event held by the MEK in one of the schools of Durres appreciating the “Ashraf 3 representatives” financial aids to bring doctors from the United States of America to launch this “humanitarian initiative”.
This is while, the most recent stance of the United States administration against the MEK was published a few weeks ago. On November 15th, the US State Department spokesperson told media outlets that it “continues to have serious concerns” about the MEK, including long-standing allegations about abuse committed against its members.

“As we have said, while the United States revoked the designation of the MEK as a foreign terrorist organization in September 2012, the United States does not see the MEK as a viable democratic opposition movement that is representative of the Iranian people,” reads the statement of the DOS.

As the MEK’s high-ranking member, Behzad Saffari is seen in the photos flattering Ms. Mayor of Durres, she should be warned about the fate of MEK’s former charity activities that were banned in England and Germany. While the MEK is considered a very wealthy organization with unknown financial resources, its charities to raise fund have been always under scrutiny.

According to the 2009 report of the American institute, RAND Corporation, “Although a large portion of the NCRI’s funding was provided by Saddam Hussein and some came from Saudi Arabia, the NCRI also raised money through fraud. For example, until recently, MeK supporters sought donations at airports and public parks, often showing gruesome pictures of women who had been tortured by the IRI, by claiming to raise money for human rights victims in Iran but funneling the money to the MeK instead. The FBI arrested seven MeK supporters for raising more than $1 million for a sham charity, the Committee for Human Rights in Iran, at Los Angeles International Airport. The British Charities Commission closed another MeK sham charity, Iran Aid, after finding no “verifiable links between the money donated by the British public [approximately £5 million annually] and charitable work in Iran.”14 The German High Court closed several MeK safehouses, “foster” homes, and compounds after an investigation revealed that the MeK fraudulently collected between $5 million and $10 million in social welfare benefits.” (RAND report, P. 59)

Disguising as benevolent guys, the agents of Maryam Rajavi try to deceive the Albanian public opinion. This is not the first time that they offer free doctor and glasses to the citizens of their neighborhood. Offering a free trip to Europe to American doctors with free residence in luxurious hotel rooms is what the MEK has expertise in.
For their so-called annual great gathering weather in Albania or Paris they are used to spend lavish fees to host Western speakers. The news media are filled with the accounts of MEK’s paying large amounts of money to former politicians in order to speak on behalf of the group. A large number of Western politicians have been on the MEK’s payroll: National Security Adviser John Bolton and the president’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, have both charged hefty fees to speak at MEK rallies in the past few years. Mike Pence, former US vice-president and his wife were the most recent high-profile figures who were received by Rajavi, in Ashraf 3, in June.

Nevertheless, The MEK propaganda accuses the cultural activities of the Association for the support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA) as a threat for the Albanian citizens while the association has been founded by former members of the group, itself. Activities of ASILA including holding book fair or donating notebooks to students are clearly aimed at developing cultural links between the two countries.

Push Back Against Maryam Rajavi Succeeding

America’s failure to bully Iran into submission in Vienna during the JCPOA talks has enraged the Israeli government, which is now threatening some kind of biblical annihilation in revenge. A futile threat. Instead, small grubby gesture politics has had to suffice. One of the anti-Iran coalition’s more irrational beliefs is that if it shakes the stick labelled ‘the MEK’ at Iran, the Iranian leaders will lose their minds and cave in to all kinds of demands. Thus we discover that the MEK’s de facto leader, Maryam Rajavi, was chosen as the face of this gesture politics when she was sent to Paris last week to visit a church – the kind of move which appears inspired by the need to annoy Iran. Rajavi, of course, was deported from the EU in 2018 and has not been allowed back in until now. And now, the anti-Iran coalition has presumably put enough pressure on the French government to partake in a charade that suits the Israelis’ and Rajavi’s agendas.

Rajavi has her own reasons to partake in this show. Always ready to prostrate herself in the service of empty gestures and symbolic acts if it gives her the kind of publicity that proves to the MEK members that she has the support of the west, Rajavi would have no hesitation in paying a smirking visit to a church at Christmas. Since her deportation Rajavi has been desperate to find a way to get back into the EU. What she doesn’t understand is that smirking in a church does not equate to political leadership or an actual policy move.
At the start of December, we revealed that Maryam Rajavi had pretended to her Farsi speaking audience – such as it is – that she had visited the French Senate to make a speech. This was a lie. She tried to pretend in her Farsi sites that she had actually been there, but the English sites could not disguise the fact that she had addressed the rally from Albania.

This time Rajavi was allowed into France only to visit the church (not Paris), and then return to Albania. It doesn’t matter, however, that she shows her face. What is important is that she is not allowed to remain or work in the EU. She cannot undertake any activity there which might be construed as political. Her appearance in a church in Paris is a purely face-saving exercise. A show of weakness not of strength.

Another example of the push back against the MEK is the sudden reappearance of a damning article in the Albanian media outlet EXIT. On 4th December, the article reported that two high ranking MEK members had been arrested in Albania on charges of human and drug trafficking. However, the article was quickly removed from the site giving an Error 404 notice. Apparently the MEK don’t like having their crimes exposed. At that time, Iran-Interlink wrote that the MEK’s mafia like behaviour in Albania dates back to its arrival in that country. Intimidation and bribery of media owners and editors was not new. Indeed, the MEK have a pattern of criminality that encompasses not only the media but includes the police, security services, judiciary and politicians from all parties.

However, it appears that this message has got through to the right people in the country. The EXIT article has been restored. Some honest, patriotic elements in the Albanian establishment have gained control and the MEK and its mafia collaborators are being pushed further and further back. Perhaps it’s only a matter of months until the organisation finally collapses like a hollow chocolate Christmas confection.

Democracy MEK Style: Hypocrisy

15th September marks United Nations International Day of Democracy. Sadly, we are living through an age of peak hypocrisy in the name of democracy. Any country in the world, not just America, which prides itself on its democratic principles could hold up a mirror and discover dark, unsavoury activities concerning voter suppression, lobbying by the wealthy, misdirection and unaccountability of politicians and bias in the media.

But, even a superficial observation of the known flaws in these democracies renders the MEK response to this day super ridiculous. The MEK, which ironically introduces itself as the ‘Viable Democratic Alternative’ in its English language sites, used this day to claim in Farsi that Iran is not democratic. In spite of holding a presidential election in June, Iran doesn’t describe itself as a ‘democracy’, so there may be something in this. But then, let’s see what MEK democracy looks like.

In its 57-year existence, the MEK has never held an election among its members to choose its leaders or its policies. Massoud Rajavi destroyed all sense of normal opposition structure when he announced his sole leadership in 1985 and then converted the group into a mind control personality cult. Later, in a session with one candidate and open ‘voting’ resulting in 100% agreement, he appointed his wife, Maryam Rajavi as ‘president of the future Iran’ – a position she will hold “for life”. Not very democratic then.

Every time that Iran holds elections for president or parliament, the MEK call for a boycott. According to the MEK, people should not use the vote they do have to express their preference even among the limited range of candidates. Every year, the MEK anticipate mass uprisings against this limited democracy. It never happens. Every year, the MEK incite violence and insurrection against the country’s leaders. Apparently, the public prefer to vote rather than take part in performative violence.

This year was particularly revealing about the MEK’s sense of democracy. In the west, where they actually have a presence, they physically attacked Iranians who visited polling stations in Iran’s embassies and consulates and other stations. They threw paint, threw punches and jeered and harassed ordinary voters as they went to exercise their democratic rights.

The MEK version of democracy is that nobody is allowed to vote for a person or party that is not of its choosing. But, even then, the MEK itself does not hold internal elections. So, that’s it. No votes, no democracy. Just hypocrisy.

MEK terrorists in the corridors of human rights

The Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ the Cult of Rajavi) have been always active in the human rights bodies such as High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland. While human rights activists including NGOs, semi-governmental organizations and government representatives from all over the world participate in the forums taken place in these places, the MEK operatives ambush in the corridors.

Although a significant portion of the actions and activities of participants are tailored to the needs of the state’s politics and the groups’ causes, it is nevertheless an opportunity for those who are trying to use the human rights literature and its components for their interests.

Sometimes there are guests at these summits and conferences, which basically have nothing to do with diplomatic and legal mechanisms. The groups like the destructive cult of Rajavi that have always taken actions with violence, weapon, assassination and crime, and their capacity and determination for terrorist acts still persist. The MEK is one of those groups whose agents go to the various housings of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Corridors and Rooms each day; the question is, what do these terrorists want in this environment?

It is clear that after being expelled from Iraqi territory, the MEK lost many of their capabilities, most notably in the field of armed action, and now it is inevitable foe them to escape from the prejudice that means the end of its cult-like entity. They have to play in other fields.

Coverage institutions
On the one hand, the relation between the group’s name and its terrorist activities has made it impossible for them to enter the Human Rights Council with the “Mujahedin Khalq” name. On the other hand, they want to escape from their records, which is precisely the violation of human rights. The most famous institution belonging to this group, which has been named after the United Nations Human Rights Council by the consultative council, is “Sudvin”, Which is a registered company in the Austrian state.

The members of the organization that are members of this institution at the Human Rights Council are people like Hasan Naeb Hashem and the Shole Zamini. These two and other members of the MEK, such as Farideh Karimi, also have no history of communicating with the group and its leaders on the Internet and they seemingly deny their association with this cult.

Recruiting people from out of the MEK
The MEK leaders in the Human Rights Council, both in terms of better preservation of the coverage and lack of troops, benefit from fugitive Europeans in need in Europe. Some of these people have been spending too little time hiring NGOs and are trained in the Council for advancing the organization’s interests within the Human Rights Council. These people, generally chosen from underprivileged Iranians, have no history of dealing with MEK.

Communication with Reporters
One of the most important elements of MEK in the context of the Human Rights Council is their power of rapprochement! By approaching the assistants and associates of UN official reporters, the MEK agents try hard to show off as a reliable source of news, documents and information. As an example, since Ahmad Shaheed was elected as Iran’s Special Reporter, members of the organization tried to establish close and even non-affiliated ties with the reporter’s assistants. Buying gifts or even paying bribes to reporters’ assistants is one of the common ways for organizations to approach them.

File formation against Iran
Members of MEK are forced to attend the United Nations from the first minutes of the beginning of the council until the last few seconds, and they also have duties to engage with other NGOs from other countries, meet with reporters and officials and communicate, gather news and information panels, and hold meetings. But some members of the organization, such as Hasan Naeeb Hashem, who make efforts to get the attention of media and human rights figures, try to connect with the convicts and security perpetrators inside Iran, and they are trying to line up and collect direct their cases against the Islamic Republic of Iran and submit to the UN.

In fact, MEK agents, in the course of directing to associates inside the country, try to lead people to more radical behaviors and eventually get heavier judicial sentences! This could lead to better results for the MEK file formation against the Islamic Republic.

Activities in unrelated areas of Iran
The MEK agents have also came into unrelated issues with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Earlier, the organizers never entered the issues that had nothing to do with Iran. But at the recent summit, agents of the organization took part in all human rights panels in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria and … They are trying to link themselves to the interests of countries such as Saudi Arabia.

Promotional commotion that shut down
One of the permanent parts of the organization during the UN Human Rights Council was the launch of its media and propaganda commotion, and this kind of movement has always been important for the MEK. The MEK activists, mobilized their uneducated and unusable forces and organized them for a month to set up a rally in front of the United Nations.

The gathering was organized with the MEK’s own logo and name, and in fact it was similar to other gatherings of the MEK. It was a show to prove that they still have supporters and fans and can still work. This section of the organization that has been active for many years in the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, has been stopped with consultation of the NGOs against terrorism with the Human Rights Council for several years and is no longer qualified for members of MEK. Although attempts of the group to obtain permission still continues.

MEK travels in diplomatic apparel in the corridors of the United Nations Human Rights Council, to work against the Islamic Republic of Iran and at same time on behalf of its state sponsors such as the Saudi regime, as far as the group is banned from using arms and violent acts.

The latest deaths the MEK faces in Albania

However their new graveyard has sent the inhabitants of Manza to protest the illegal graveyard. They want MEK to bury their dead inside their paramilitary camp. On January 14 the inhabitants of Manza protested publicly the land grab by MEK. Many Albanian media transmitted the protest. However, two days later media and televisions like Ora News, DurresiLajm, Syri.net, were forced to delete their videos and news. The Mojahedens, #FreeIran gang which pretend to bring democracy to #Iran are supporting censorship and authocracy in Albania. They are colliding with the Albanian government which helps them to:

1. Have no check on mojahedeens who die,

2. Hide their dead,

3. Bury their dead illegally,

4. Blackmail Albanian journalists who report their illegal activities,

5. Use quisling Albanian media to attack Albanian citizens as agents of Iran when they protest against land grab and illegal activities that MEK does in Albania.

The discussion of MEK’s attack against freedom of media and democracy in Albania is compared with the censorship that Big Tech is doing against #RudyGiuliani and #Trump in the United States. Olsi appeals to Rudy Giuliani to teach his good jihadi friend Maryam Rajavi to learn what democracy and human rights are. Rudy who complains about tech censorship in the United States must first ask his jihadi friends in Albania to not censor the Albanian media and not blackmail Albanian journalists.

An appeal goes to organizations like Reporters without Borders @RSF_inter who while they condemn China, Russia etc and their threats against journalists, they should do the same against the mojahedeens and their blackmails against media in #EdiRama’s #Albania.

The History of MEK in scenario writing and lying

Lying and distorting is one of the ways that the Mojahedin Khalq group, or better to say, the hypocrites make money with it and somehow buy fans for themselves.

The hypocrites see lying as a way of survival, and lack of honesty is a way for the people who worked with them to find out after a while.

The incident that took place during the 2003 invasion by the coalition forces was an act in which the MKO saw themselves in danger and therefore began to lie, while they used to support Saddam and when they found themselves in the middle of the bombing of the coalition forces, they tried to deceive the Iraqi forces and Saddam in order to save themselves from this predicament, and despite all this, the leader of MKO claimed that no action was taken against them by the coalition forces but reports from the US military and its special forces include conflicts with MKO.

The lies of the MKO do not end here, and a report was published in RAND in 2009 in which it was written that the MEK group to save itself from their strategic mistakes and actions that they did in the past or to somehow forget their actions start lying and distorting.

In addition to the mentioned cases, the MKO also spread lies about the Islamic Republic of Iran, which if someone examines the situation in Iran, he or she will notice their lies.

They provided a lot of false news and analysis to the Western governments without any fear, and some of them may be true in general, but they are wrong in details, and MKO are spreading the fake news, and unfortunately, some of their audiences seeing the general news that may sometimes be true, they believe that all the news sent and announced by MKO are true.

One of the reasons why the news of MKO is false is because they have not been in Iran for many years and are not aware of the situation in Iran.

Gaining the support of Western officials and governments is another reason for MKO to lie so that they can somehow raise easy money for themselves, and on the other hand, by trying to show the dire situation in Iran, they tried to encourage Western officials to overthrow the Iranian regime and introduced themselves as the most important opposition group to Iran in order to gain support.

Some Western governments cite this fake news and later suffered from them, and one of these governments is the United States, which has suffered significant losses due to its trust in this fake news, such as Ahmad Chalabi, a former Iraqi government official that was not present in Iraq for 20 years and therefore did not have accurate information about the situation in Iraq.

During several meetings with the Americans, he provided misinformation about Iraqi chemical weapons, causing problems for both governments for years.

With the regard that MKO is in favor of a particular belief that they have made it themselves and are kind of extremist, many people who specialize in Iranian affairs and are educated people consider their beliefs to be absurd and meaningless, and another reason for all its lies can also go back to their categorization and politicization.

There is an Iranian idiom that states: “Every madman thinks all other people are mad too”because MKO has the behavior of lies and distortions, they think that everyone is also lying, and that is why when they want to get someone out of their way and remove them, they slander that person.

If we want to look at another example of the MKO’s distortions against Iran, we can see in the presidential election in which Mr. Rouhani voted and people took to the streets to celebrate, and after a while, Iran qualified for the World Cup and the people all celebrated. Then, MKO for distorting the facts, lied that the people rioted, while the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in the hands of the people in the pictures and videos taken.

MKO has even distorted themselves, and because of the problems in their ideology and sectarian management, they have distorted their past and deceptively introduced themselves to gain the support of the people.

Another distortion that MKO is committing against themselves is that they claim to be supporters and claimants of human rights, and this is true if they do not force their members to commit suicide, and the leadership of the Mojahedin Khalq group has no human shield for itself and this organization does not respect human rights even among its members, let alone support the Iranian people.

According to the RAND report, the Mojahedin built a library in Ashraf camp, to deceive the public, and by installing images of European and American writers, they were able to do so with little success.

These deceptions do not end here, and by exaggerating themselves, they always tried to present themselves as oppressed and able to attract the pity of their audiences.

The organization has gathered supporters with false tactics, opposition to Iran, and vast financial resources, and the gathering of these people has been accompanied by deception so that they can show more of their foreign supporters.

For example, another of their lies was about the claim of meeting with the US Vice President, that Wendy Sherman wrote in a letter to US Senator McCain that: “Contrary to the claims of the hypocrites, the vice president did not meet with the representative of the Mojahedin-e Khalq during the presidential election campaign and after the election.”

In another of their false cases, as soon as one of the figures of the Socialist Party in various meetings entered, one of the members of the organization immediately hurried to greet the person and shook his hand, and the next day a photo of that figure was published in their website with the content of supporting MKO, even though that person did not know about it at all. MKO showed that it is not a trustworthy group, but despite this fact why US politicians trust this group?

Fake Journalist, Fake freedom and fake humanitarian aid of the MEK

Another fake persona under the name of”Amir Basiri“who publishes articles on behalf of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ the Cult of Rajavi) was recently revealed by the American Conservative Magazine.

The first one had been exposed by Murtaza Hussain of the Intercept, last year. He revealed that”Heshmat Alavi“is a created persona run by trolls working inside the camp of the MEK, Ashraf 3, in the region of Durres in Albania. [1] [2]

According to both reports, the so-called articles circulated in certain western media such as Forbes and the Hill under the name of Alavi and Basiri were then boosted by a chain of accounts, many with only a few followers and which solely tweet the authors’ arguments: support for the MEK and regime change in Iran.

Paul Brian and Arthur Bloom of the American Conservative describe the MEK-run troll farm in twitter against the Iranian government as”a hall of mirrors amplifying the case for war with Iran”. They consider the MEK’s large amounts of money going to the pockets of twitter as a good reason to use the platform of this social network for warmongering propaganda and aggressive content.”The ad money from NCRI and pro-MEK accounts seems to have dampened Twitter’s desire to crack down”, they state.”A request for comment from Twitter was not returned as of press time.”[3]

Naturally, the MEK accuses the American Conservative of being the”a mouthpiece for the mullahs”. This accusation is a frequent one against anyone who challenges the MEK regulations or criticizes its behavior. Similarly, they accuse the families of their members who desire to visit their loved ones taken as hostages inside camp Ashraf 3 in Durres, a region in North of Tirana as agents of Iranian regime.

The calls of families of the MEK hostages on the Albanian authorities and human rights bodies have not been responded yet. While their humanitarian request to contact their loved ones in the MEK is totally ignored by the Albanian authorities, the mayor of Durres Emiriana Sako, in a note published in the Washington Times, praises the MEK for providing”humanitarian aid”to the local residents of Manza, Durres! She is proud of accepting the MEK cultic group”as part of their community”. [4]

Mayor of Durres officially expresses her support for what she calls”the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy”and hopes”that the residents of Ashraf 3 can return to their country very soon when freedom and democracy is restored in Iran”.

In an open letter to Maria Arena, the head of the European Parliament’s subcommittee on Human rights, former member of the MEK and the CEO of Nejat Society, Ebrahim Khodabandeh urged her”to endorse the humanitarian demands of the families and asked the Albanian government, which is responsible for this organization in its own country,”why elderly mothers and fathers after some four decades should not have contact with their children“. [5] The right to live in a free world with normal relationships with family and friends is one of the most basic rights of a human being. The MEK members are deprived of such an absolutely humanitarian right.

Western politicians and particularly the authorities of Albania should stop getting fooled by the MEK’s fake journalists, fake democratic gestures and fake humanitarian aids. The authors of the American Conservative accurately suggest,”As a matter of journalistic ethics any organization engaging in systematic dishonesty like this has provided a very good reason to blacklist them”.

The annual gathering of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ PMOI? Cult of Rajavi) went virtual this year on Friday, July 17, 2020. In the past, the group used to mobilize hundreds of people including students, Arab and African refugees from all over Europe for a free one-day Paris tour in order to wave Iranian flags in the group’s rented colossal hall every year around this time.

This year, the gathering was semi-virtual and located in the group’s newly established base in Albania. The rank and file of the group were definitely the only ones who were made to attend the rally. However, the more important part of the participants were the virtual ones who, according to the MEK propaganda, were connected to the event from more than 30,000 locations worldwide. The group also claims that tens of thousands of people, in 102 countries in various time zones were connected to the summit. A number of questions come to a person’s common sense on such huge assertions:

In fact, the faces shown on dozens of monitors around the hall may prove such a claim to some extent.

According to what the audience see in the videos of the so-called annual summit, the estimated number seem to be about 1200 connections at most. Is it technically practical to connect 30000 locations to an online conference?

The backbone for such an extended connection service is not simply accessible for an entity like Mujahedin Khalq which is not an internationally legal personality under any circumstance. Given that the group is so greatly financially sponsored that it can support such an enormous structure to connect 30 thousand people from different time zones all over the world, in Europe, another question is posed: where does the money come from?
This is a highly frequent question on the financial resources of the MEK. The answer can range from the_oil_for_food programme in the era of Saddam Hussein to the Saudi government particularly Prince Bin Salman who gives them the tribune of its Persian-language TV channel Iran International.

However, a close investigation on what really took place in the MEK’s lavish online gathering indicates significant facts about the truth of such a luxurious appearance with large displays and organized audience of whom the real ones remind us of marches in North Korea. In fact, in a cult-like hierarchy, to organize the rank and file to launch such a gathering is a piece of cake. It is possible because as Elizabeth Rubin of the New York Times describes them”a fictional world of female worker bees”, the MEK members are hard workers with no payment but coerced minds. But how many people could the MEK leaders organize from out of the Ashraf world?

The number of live viewers in the MEK-linked accounts on social media such as Instagram did not seem to be more than a few dozen while the number of viewers of an average Iranian influencer on Instagram usually reaches hundreds to thousands. Therefore, the group’s claim to represent the Iranian people is totally disapproved because nobody can deny the influence of social media in the Iranian community.

There are also some other participants in the MEK’s online summit including those few number of the group’s sympathizers that are usually besieged from all over the US to gather in front of the white house or those very few people in European capitals.

Moreover, the viewers of the social media or the attendees in front of the White House cannot be considered part of the alleged 30000 connections. The connections are supposed to be through certain software or applications that are usually sanctioned by the United Sates so not accessible in Iran. So who are the audience of Maryam Rajavi as the so-called president of the Iranian resistance?

It’s unlikely it’s legit.

A Fox News producer tweeted out a photo of Arabic graffiti that supposedly shows Iranian support for President Donald Trump.
After a military strike killed Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani on Thursday, Iranian protesters took to the streets to mourn Soleimani. However, Yonat Friling, from Fox News, portrayed support for Trump’s decision in Iran with a tweet on Friday.
“From Tehran this morning graffiti says ‘Thank you Trump’. (Source protected),” @Foxyonat tweeted.
Her tweet has since been deleted.

The image; however, has a few suspicious qualities. First, this is not the first time it has circulated on Twitter. In 2018, an account by the name Heshmat Alavi tweeted out the photo to show support in Iran for Trump. Alavi claims to be an anti-Iranian regime activist. When Alavi posted it, he says the graffiti translates to ‘way to go Trump.’

“While #Iran‘s regime may claim of having a social base opposing U.S. President Donald Trump’s #IranDealWithdrawal, this graffiti today from Tehran shows how Iranians are actually very thankful. ‘Way to go Trump’,” @HeshmatAlavi tweeted.

What is even more mysterious is the person or people behind Alavi’s Twitter account.
The Intercept reported in June that Alavi, who has been used as a source by the White House, does not appear to be a real person. A former member of the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), an anti-Iranian organization, told the Intercept that Alavi was a facade. Hassan Heyrani was a former high-ranking member of the organization according to the Intercept.

“Heshmat Alavi is a persona run by a team of people from the political wing of the MEK,” Heyrani said. “They write whatever they are directed by their commanders and use this name to place articles in the press. This is not and has never been a real person.”

The Trump administration used an article published by Alavi to justify leaving the nuclear deal in 2018. Alavi contended that there was Iranian support for the administration’s decisions.
This morning, the Alavi account tweeted out more alleged evidence of support for Trump’s most recent military strike.

“ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! An Iranian family celebrating the killing of #Iran‘s IRGC Quds Force chief Qasem Soleimani. “Death to Dictator!” they are heard chanting,” @HeshmatAlavi tweeted.

Gizmodo reported that the support for Trump’s attack is not likely to be substantiated by the Iranian people. Dr. Pedram Partovi, an associate professor at American University, told Gizmodo that hatred for the American government far outweighs the current disdain for the Iranian regime.
“Even if the current government in Iran is unpopular with the vast majority of the Iranian population, Trump and his administration may be even more unpopular. Regular public opinion polling conducted by the University of Maryland, among others, bears this out,” Partovi wrote in an email to Gizmodo.
Friling did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Dot.

MKO Framing Defected Members as Agents from Iran

A Canadian-Albanian researcher revealed on Saturday that the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCRI) sets its defected members up in plots to frame them as agents of Iran.
Canadian-Albanian historian Dr. Olsi Jazexhi released a video of his interview with several individuals who said they had defected the MKO, but were now being framed by the terrorist group as Iranian agents sent to attack the camp near Durres, Albania’s main port.

Albanian police on Wednesday claimed that they had foiled planned attacks by Iranian agents against the MKO, but several former members of the group have come forward to reveal that they are the real individuals being accused of the plot.
Since 2014, some 3,000 MKO members have settled in a camp in Albania after being transferred by the US from Iraq. Earlier this week, Albanian authorities claimed that they had discovered an active cell of the Iranian Quds Force and prevented their”plan of March 2018″to attack the camp.
In March 2018, two people were held in Albania but set free for lack of evidence. At the time, an opposition leader denounced the announcement as a ploy by Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama to divert attention from Tirana’s failure to start entry talks with the European Union.
The accusation was similar to those made against Iran in Europe, including by France in October 2018 which accused Tehran of plotting to attack an annual MKO rally outside Paris.
The timing of the accusations was suspicious. They came as European governments apparently sought to save a 2015 nuclear deal with Iran after the US abandoned the agreement.
From the outset, Tehran vehemently dismissed the claims as false flag operations, while those detained in connection with the alleged plots were released later due to lack of evidence.
Jazexhi, who carried out the interview, explained that a “cold war” is underway in Albania between former MKO members and the ringleaders of the terrorist organization.
Jazexhi, who specializes in the history of Islam, nationalism and religious reformation in Southeastern Europe, described those speaking in the interview as former terrorists who have abandoned terrorism against Iran and decided to lead a civilian life.
He has already aired a TV show called the “Opinion” in Albania, which said the MKO runs its own secret service in the impoverished European country, and that it spies on former members of the organization who live there.
A former member of the MKO in the video, labelled as an agent of Iran, is heard saying, “I don’t want to fight anything, any side. I want my own life, personal life, civilian life and I don’t want to fight.”
“For this reason, the MKO does not want us to live here. They put pressure on us to leave this country because if another member in the MKO comes out for anything or any work and see us we have a free [life], maybe they want to come out and have a free life. For this they make fake news against us, accuse us of being agents and mercenary of Iran,” the man says.

Last year, Albania expelled two Iranian diplomats suspected of “involvement in activities that harm the country’s security.”
Iran denounced the expulsions, saying Albania has fallen prey to a scenario fabricated by the US and Israel and certain terrorist groups.
The MKO is listed as a terrorist organization by much of the international community. Its members fled Iran in 1986 for Iraq, where they received support from then dictator Saddam Hussein.
The notorious outfit has carried out numerous attacks against Iranian civilians and government officials for several decades.
In 2012, the US State Department removed the MKO from its list of designated terrorist organizations under intense lobbying by groups associated to Saudi Arabia and other regimes adversarial to Iran.
A few years ago, MKO members were relocated from their Camp Ashraf in Iraq’s Diyala Province to Camp Hurriyet (Camp Liberty), a former US military base in Baghdad, and were later sent to Albania.
Those members, who have managed to escape, have revealed MKO’s scandalous means of access to money, almost exclusively coming from Saudi Arabia.
The MKO terrorist group specified the targets as Major General Qassem Soleimani, who commands the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iranian Judiciary Chief Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi.
The terrorist organization said it would “welcome” their assassination, adding that it desired for the ranking officials to “join” Asadollah Lajevardi, Tehran’s former chief prosecutor, and Ali Sayyad-Shirazi, a former commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces during Iraq’s 1980-88 war against Iran.
Earlier in June, a leaked audio of a phone conversation between two members of MKO, revealed Saudi Arabia has colluded with the MKO elements to frame Iran for the recent tanker attacks in the Persian Gulf.
In the audio Shahram Fakhteh, an official member and the person in charge of MKO’s cyber operations, is heard talking with a US-based MKO sympathizer named Daei-ul-Eslam in Persian, IFP news reported.
In this conversation, the two elements discuss the MKO’s efforts to introduce Iran as the culprit behind the recent tanker attacks in the Persian Gulf, and how the Saudis contacted them to pursue the issue.
“In the past week we did our best to blame the [Iranian] regime for the (oil tanker) blasts. Saudis have called Sister Maryam (Rajavi)’s office to follow up on the results, [to get] a conclusion of what has been done, and the possible consequences,” Fakhteh is heard saying.
“I guess this can have different consequences. It can send the case to the UN Security Council or even result in military intervention. It can have any consequence,” Daei-ul-Eslam says.
Attacks on two commercial oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman on June 13, and an earlier attack on four oil tankers off the UAE’s Fujairah port on May 12, have escalated tensions in the Middle East and raised the prospect of a military confrontation between Iran and the United States.

The US, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE have rushed to blame Iran for the incidents, with the US military releasing a grainy video it claimed shows Iranian forces in a patrol boat removing an unexploded mine from the side of a Japanese-owned tanker which caught fire earlier this month.
It later released some images of the purported Iranian operation after the video was seriously challenged by experts and Washington’s own allies.
The MKO which is said to be a cult which turns humans into obedient robots, turned against Iran after the 1979 Revolution and has carried out several terrorist attacks killing senior officials in Iran; yet the West which says cultism is wrong and claims to be against terrorism, supports this terrorist group officially.
After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the MKO began its enmity against Iran by killings and terrorist activities.
