The leaders of Mojahedin Khalq (Rajavi cult) want to keep the members as hostages whether they are in Camp Liberty or return to Camp Ashraf. Maryam Rajavi along with other commanders of the MEK in France has ordered the leaders in the camp to stop all interviews which the UNHCR was trying to carry out with the individuals. She claims to be the representative of these people.

It seems that your official intervention can be a serious help in this regard and it can overcome all the pmoi leadership’s excuses , pretexts and decisions. We are urging you to force pmoi to stay devoted to its own commitments which officially accepted and signed in front of the UN representative and in this regard they should accept all the consequences if they do not accept and reject the concluded agreement. ..

The incident took place on Wednesday 23 April at an unpatrolled stretch of the border, near the Habur (Silopi) official border crossing in Sirnak province in southeastern Turkey.
