As defectors of the MKO, we have repeatedly asserted in our articles that the only loser of the game is the MKO and not the Iraqi government. We have several times emphasized that the MKO cannot encounter a Government that doesn’t want it in its territory. However, the MKO leaders know it better than us but their ambitious policy for staying in Iraq is originated from their power-thirsty nature that considers no value for the lives of human beings...

a State Department official told Congress on Wednesday that the group's[MKO/MEK/PMOI] leadership was not cooperating in the departures, despite the risks to the members' lives in Iraq.Beth Jones, acting assistant secretary of state for Near East Affairs, told a House foreign Affairs subcommittee that although U.S. officials have worked hard to persuade the group's leadership to cooperate in the departures, "very few have been allowed to move."

In these meetings Rajavi clearly stated: “as your spiritual leader I vow that the blood of anyone trying to leave us must be shed”. Then Rajavi pointed out that there is no sin worse than leaving his cult and the person who does so must be most severely punished. This should be noted with all seriousness by the western countries ….
