Batul Soltani a German citizen was denied entry into Albania on July 29, 2022 and deported back to Germany. She was denied entry upon the orders of Maryam Rajavi and the mojaheden command. Batool explains in English and in German how the mojaheden entered the Mother Theresa International Airport and were giving orders to the Albanian police against her and her colleague Afshin Kalantari. During the past months the mojaheden have managed to use Albanian police to deny entry to a number of European citizens in Albania.

https://dlb.nejatngo.org/Media/Interview/Soltani-Olsi-202208.mp4

British, Austrian, German and Swedish nationals have been harassed and some deported from the country – on orders of Maryam Rajavi. The mojahedeen fear the presence of Iranians in Albania. Many Iranian origin European citizens have came to Albania to meet their relatives who are held as slave soldiers by the mojahedeen. Their visits threaten the existence of MEK as organization, since some 500 mujahedeen have already left the cult and now leave in freedom in Europe. To stop the destruction of her cult, Maryam Rajavi is bribing the Albanian police and government and using them to harass the Iranians living in Albania and those who come from Europe to meet their relatives and friends.

Maryam Rajavi is paying huge sums of money to create fake news about “Iranian agents” and “spies” in Albania. She is using this fake news to attack Western media like The Guardian, Foreign Policy, The Independent, Der Spiegel, MSNBC, the BBC and the New York Times who have reported on the weird nature of the cult.

Batoul Soltani, female defector of the Mujahedin Khalq was attacked by four female members of the group when she arrived at Tirana airport, Albania. Soltani together with three other defectors of the MEK had been invited to Tirana by ASILA (the Association for the support of Iranians Living in Albania). ASILA was established by former members of the MEK to support those who leave the group’s Camp.

Batul Soltani and Afshin Kalantari both German citizen attacked and beaten by the MEK agents as soon as they arrived in Tirana International airport.

Batul Soltani

The two German citizens, Batool Soltani and Afshin Kalantari were being held at Tirana International Airport and not allowed to enter the Albanian territory. The Albanian border police declared that they cannot guarantee the security of these two defectors of the MEK against the threats of the group’s agents, according to ASILA members who were present at the airport.

Batoul Soltani who left the MEK’s Camp Ashraf in Iraq in December 2006 was the first female defector of the Cult of Rajavi who revealed Massoud Rajavi’s polygamy cult. She was one of the victims of Rajavi’s sex cult.
Her testimonies were then confirmed by other female defectors of Massoud Rajavi’s cult of personality although so many of them preferred to remain unknown for public. Iraj Mesdaghi, the MEK’s former member and one of its critics who also played a key role in Hamid Nouri’s arrest and his eventual trial in Sweden, confirmed Soltani’s revelations based on the testimonies of a number of other female defectors.

Iraj Mesdaghi

In an interview with Sahar Tavili, the Iranian-American journalist and researcher, in March 2021 Mesdaghi approves what Soltani exposed about nude dancing of female members of the MEK’s Elite Council in front of Massoud Rajavi before being selected to sleep with him.

Soltani seems to be one of the most hated defectors of the MEK cult. At least four of her ex-comrades named Fatemeh Kheradmand, Zakieh Hojati, Sedigheh Ebrahimzadeh and Nasrin Nowzari had been sent to the Airport to threaten her to death. “Pointing at me, they threatened me, ‘Get out of Tirana! Otherwise, we will kill you ourselves,” Soltani reports in a video that she published in social media.

Recounting Mesdaghi’s words about MEK’s female members seems to be significant here: “They are like zombies. They are under constant manipulation techniques. Before going to private meetings, they have to write love letters to Massoud Rajavi expressing their love for him. If they disobey, they go under severe peer pressure. They are verbally abused with the most horrific words.”

The MEK female members at the Tirana Airport to attack Batul Soltani

Soltani and Kalantari were kept at the airport under severe circumstances for at least 40 hours. They were finally deported to Germany. This indicates a strange process in the regulations of Albanian security system.
The Albanian historian, Olsi Jazexhi clarifies in his tweets: “Mujahedin command control over Rinas airport in Albania. Two mujahedin commanders Zakiyeh Hojati and Fatemeh Kheradmand break the law, enter in the transit zone and deport German, British and Austrian citizens who visit Albania. When you visit Rinas airport in Tirana, Albania you will see mujahedin commanders who check international visitors to Albania. If you look Iranian the vigilantes with police will deport you. A good Iranian is a dead Iranian for Maryam Rajavi.”

It is worth to know that the MEK labels Soltani and her companions, Iraj Mesdaghi and Olsi Jazexhi as agents of the Iranian government and so terrorists who want to attack the MEK camp! This is while the MEK agents simply attack these ex-members just because they defected the group and revealed its true nature.

Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Albania
Mr. Bledar Çuçi, Minister of Interior
Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard

Dear Sir
Ms. Batul Soltani and Mr. Afshin Kalantari, two citizens of Germany, were captured by the police under the command of the ministry for three days in transit at Mother Teresa Airport (Rinas) in Tirana. They entered Tirana legally with German passports at the invitation of the registered and legal ASILA (Association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania) to participate in the ceremony of their friends from Germany. But Albanian police stopped them and asked them to return to their country of origin.

Batul Soltani Passport

Afshin Kalantari Passport

The following is a very strange reason given by the Albanian police:
“Since the meeting of the Mojahedin- Khalq (MEK) in Albania has been disrupted and they are extremely angry, and since they have had a hostile relationship with their former members and have threatened to kill them, the Albanian police cannot protect Batul Soltani and Afshin Kalantari, and since there is a serious threat to their lives, their entry to Tirana will be prevented.”

The exact same answer was given to the Embassy of the Republic of Germany in Albania against their request for an explanation and even to the German police. This is despite the fact that the leaders of the MEK, that is those who made the death threats according to the Albanian police, were easily present in the transit area of the airport and even ordered or forbade the police.
This is exactly the example of Saadi’s statement that “they tied the stone but left the dog loose”** .

Those who separated from the Rajavi Cult in Albania do not hope for the help of the government of this country, but at least what they want is not to be harassed by the police and the Ministry of Interior and to be on their own so that they can at least spend the rest of their lives peacefully outside the captivity of the leaders of the Rajavi Cult.
Some time ago, the place of ASILA was searched due to manufactured information that was given to the anti-corruption and organized crime police by the MEK, and its members were directed to the police headquarters to give explanations, and their phones, laptops, and cash were confiscated. Ultimately, no evidence of illegal activity was found.

Certainly, these kinds of disturbances that are done for the sake of appeasing Rajavi’s terrorist Cult are not in accordance with the highest interests of the nation and not strengthening the national security of Albania. It is interesting to note that in the prosecutor’s warrant which was issued for the investigation, it was clearly stated that about 300 members of this organization went to European countries illegally. This means the export of terrorism from a country that wants to join the European Union to the member states of the European Union.
I request you to end the maltreatment of the former members for welcoming the terrorist cult of the MEK. You know better than anyone else how much this organization is hated by the people of Iran, and copying with it will not benefit your country in the long run.

Thanks,
Ebrahim Khodabandeh
CEO of Najat Society

Copy to:
Albanian and European media and parliamentarians

**The famous Iranian poet Saadi (an association with the same name operates in Albania) has the following story in one of his books of wisdom called Golestan:
The stone is tightened and the dog is loose!
One of the poets went to the chief of the thieves and praised him. The chief said to remove the clothes from him and expel him from the village. The poor man went naked to the cold. The dogs followed him. He wanted to pick up a stone and repel the dogs. The ground was frozen and he failed. He said: “What bastards these people are; The stone is tightened and the dog is loose! “
Chief looked away and heard and laughed and said: “O Hakim, ask me for something.” He said, “I want my clothes, if you give me a gift.”
A person was hoping for the good of others *** I do not hope for the good of you, please do not bring evil

Batul Soltani, former member of the Elite Council of the Mujahedin-e Khalq escaped Camp Ashraf in 2007. She was a long-time member of the group who had been forced by Massoud Rajavi to divorce her husband and to leave her children. She was so brainwashed in the Cult of Rajavi that she was not able to refuse the order of Maryam Rajavi to sleep with Massoud Rajavi. However, once she realized that her commanders were dishonest, she left the group. The story of her escape from Camp Ashraf is really dramatic.

Batul Soltani and her child

Following the so-called ideological revolution that coerced members to divorce their spouses, and after the smuggling of their children out of Iraq, Batul and other rank and file of the group, were kept busy doing difficult physical tasks around their military camp. “I became the commander of a unit of tanks in 1993,” Batul recounts. “I was so busy running eleven tank, each tank three forces. I had no time thinking of myself. I could sleep one or two hours a day.”

Batul Soltani at the MEk’s Camp Ashraf

Batul was gradually elevated in the cult’s hierarchy. She was charged with the security unit and then she was smuggled to Britain to learn using computers and ultimately, she was selected to become a member of Rajavi’s Elite Council. As a member of Rajavi’s close female forces she was coerced to attend Salvation Dance and then to Massoud Rajavi’s bed. Batul Soltani was the first female defector of the MEK who revealed Rajavi’s polygamy cult.
“In 2006, as a member of the Elite Council, I had become the topic of the meetings; I was under the focus of the superior rank,” Batul writes. “I was constantly asked why I looked depressed. Even Massoud Rajavi contacted me several times to understand what was wrong with me but I could not tell them about my anxieties. I had missed my children and my husband. Besides, I had a lot of unanswered questions about the group. I felt like losing my whole life for nothing.”

Batool Sultani, photographed in Paris in January 2020.
Photo: Matthew Cassell for The Intercept

What took place on that special day made her determined to leave the MEK. She had been ordered to fix Mozhgan Parsai’s computer network. She entered the network and she discovered a letter. “I ran into a report about myself that Mozhgan Parsai had prepared to send to Maryam Rajavi. All at once, my whole world came crashing down around me. She had written that the Elite Council was in trouble, that I was distracted by thinking about my kids and that I was morally corrupted. I was astonished to read those words.”

The very day, she packed her bag and made her decision to escape the group. Unaccompanied trafficking was prohibited in Camp Ashraf.

“Even if you wanted to go planting in the garden, you had to be accompanied by a peer as your responsible. They said that these rules were for guaranteeing the security of the group but I swear to God that it was because they did not trust anyone inside the organization.”

Thus, Batul found a way to pretend that she was not alone in her jeep: “I put the pack bag on the driver’s side seat,” she recounts her heroic escape. “I put a helmet on that and I tied a scarf around the helmet. When I reached the checkpoint, I told the guard that my comrade was asleep so I could cross the check point.”
It was late at night. The female guard knew that Batul Soltani was one of the commanders of the group so she did not scrutinize anymore. She drove toward the fences around the camp. “I left the car somewhere around the garrison and I escaped that prison”, she writes.

She cut the barbed wires crawled from under them. The guards in the watchtower did not notice her. She walked to the American camp that was settled by the side of Camp Ashraf for escapees from the Cult of Rajavi. And, she found herself free. She told the American authorities that she would not get back to the Mujahedin-e Khalq anymore.

A cult may or may not be religious, and the movement is often centered on a personality or magic –It can even be political like the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ NCRI). Such a movement or group has set rituals or traditions that may not be sanctioned by the society in which it works. There is often a founder, considered supreme by the followers, and the cult members follow the instructions or beliefs of the founder such as Osho or Massoud Rajavi.

The cult led by guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh called Osho sprang from India in the Seventies to global notoriety. Sex guru Rajneesh Osho set up a commune that turned into a terror cell which plotted to kill a White House lawyer and infected hundreds of voters to rig an election. Ma Anand Sheela was an assistant to Osho, on top of this matriarchal pyramid, just like Maryam Rajavi on top of the MEK’s hierarchy of power.

Female sex workers in MEK and Osho’s cult
Sheela admits she was in love with the guru and claims he was also in love with her, but she told Vogue: “There was no sex with Osho. Our relationship was not sexual. The integrity mattered because I was already drowning in him…”. However, Maryam Rajavi never claimed that she had no sexual relationship with Massoud. According to the MEK’s former member, Ann Singleton, Maryam even had an abortion when she was the office administrator of Massoud Rajavi before marrying him officially.

It is not a coincidence that virtually all the major administrative roles in the community are given to women in both MEK and Rajneesh Ashram. Satya Franklin, a former member of Ashram told Newseek that power had made Sheela increasingly “unpleasant” and dictatorial. Former members of MEK, whether male or female, also admit that Maryam Rajavi runs Massoud’s totalitarian ideas over the group.

Win McCormack of the New Republic quotes Rajneesh’s rationale for exploiting women: “This is the point. the male mind is a little further away from the no-mind than is the female mind. So the ashram will be run by women until I find people who have no-minds. When the no-minds are available, then there will be no question of male and female; then the ashram will be run by no-minds.”

Rajavi seems to be even more egocentric than Osho. While virtually all the administrative personnel at the ashram were female, most of the Rajneesh therapy leaders were male; and, according to ex-disciples, sexual exploitation of women in the therapy groups, particularly the so called “Tantra” groups, was rampant, based on the Netflix documentary on Osho, published in 2018. “There was tremendous sexism going on there, yet they tried to make you believe that because Rajneesh was picking women to run all those departments he really believes in liberated women,” an ex-Rajneesh disciple Roselyn Smith

Massoud Rajavi has his own fabricated arguments to “liberate women from the bars of sexuality”. He has forced members to divorce their spouses and to submit to mandatory celibacy. Even thinking of the opposite sex is forbidden in the MEK and will be ended in punishments by the side of commanders who are mostly women. In contrast, Massoud Rajavi can sleep with any of the token members of the so-called Elite Council of the group that includes only female disciples. Maryam was his assistant in the Pre-sex sessions held in the group’s commune, Camp Ashraf, Iraq. Maryam was the impelling agent to make women of the Elite Council to take off their clothes and dance before the eyes of Massoud. These sessions of nude dancing were named “salvation dance” by Messoud and Maryam Rajavi.

Batul Soltani, former female member of MEK, who first revealed sexual abuse of female members in the Cult of Rajavi says that she did not even suppose that Massoud and Maryam had a real sexual relationship. She could not believe it until she was summoned by Maryam and ordered to sleep with Massoud. She was made sure that her guru was a man with passions similar to other men.

Hassan Heirani

Hassan Heirani former male member of MEK told the Guardian, “For example, you would have to say: ‘I saw a girl on television and I got an erection,’ or ‘This morning I masturbated,’” said Hassan Heyrani, one of the defectors. “If you admit to it too often, they will get angry and say: ‘How do you want to create freedom for the Iranian people if you have an erection every day?’” The Guardian adds, “Each evening, the men had to gather in small groups with their commanders for “ideological training” as well as a confessional about any sexual thoughts they might have had that day.”

Although Osho is notoriously known as an abusive sex cult guru, male members of his cult seemed to be happy. “The women were harangued into thinking that they were really uptight and negative if they didn’t want to be sexually free,” Roselyn Smith, the ex-member told the New Republic. “The women who didn’t take part in it were made to feel very guilty and selfish and self-centered and uptight, frigid and rigid and rejecting of men. As I get further away from it, I realize more and more . . . I used to think Bhagwan was a feminist. When I was in Pune, I used to want to write a book extracting his views on women. I thought that he supported a woman’s right to an abortion, that he supported a woman’s right to be a leader. Women ran the whole ashram there, and I was so impressed by that. But as I get further away, I realize that he’s got the macho-male trip down flat; the way he got women to be sexual servants for men is every man’s fantasy.”

Sterilization was an open secret in both Rajavi’s and Osho’s cult
“Sheela had a hysterectomy and I believe she was the first,” Satya Franklin says. ”Bhagwan felt children were a distraction from the spiritual path. He said the nuclear family is a disease.” Zahra Mirbagher and Maryam Sanjabi, former members of MEK revealed a list of 100 women who were sterilized through hysterectomy surgeries by the MEK’s doctor Nafiseh Badamchi.

“Not every man, but scores had vasectomies. Were people forced to be sterilized? People were told if you want to be on a spiritual path this is good to do.” says Franklin. Fortunately, male members of MEK are luckier in this subject since they would be able to get married and have babies if they could manage to escape the group.
Members of Ashram and Ashraf, Cut off from the outside world

As Newsweek puts, Meanwhile, the ranch had grown from an empty lot to the vast city of Rajneeshpuram. Populated by thousands of worshippers, all dressed in red, it had infrastructure including an airport and fire department, as well as a meditation center, mall and a pizza restaurant.

Members of the MEK has been cut off from the outside world for over 30 years, since the group was located in Iraq in the 1980s until today that they are settled in a small village in Albania. “The gates to the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) compound, situated on a gently inclined hillside in rural Albania, are usually firmly closed, guarded by two sculpted lions atop stone pedestals and a large team of Albanian security guards,” the Guardian writes. “Unannounced visitors are not welcome at the fenced-off, secretive site, where more than 2,000 MEK members live.”

Children separated from parents in both Ashram and Ashraf
Noa Maxwell and his family were involved in Osho’s cult during the 1980’s. He was interviewed by the Guardian in April 2018. Soon Noa’s mum was living in one place in the ashram, his dad somewhere else, and Noa was in the kids’ hut. “We had been a tight, 70s middle-class family, and within a very short period that family unit was ripped up,” he says.

The children’s hut was an octagonal bamboo structure with bunks. Noa and the other kids – from Australia, Germany, America – were pretty much left to their own devices. There was a school, “run by this crazy English hippie called Sharma with long blond hair and a guitar and we would sing ‘We all live in the orange submarine’. I don’t know how much it mattered if we were in school or not. When I eventually did get back to this country when I was 10, I couldn’t read anything or write anything, or do two plus two.”

Children in the Cult of Rajavi were kept in separate units far from their parents. Rajavi went further in 1991 and sent off all children of MEK members from Iraq to Europe. Read the stories of some of MEK children here.
As Massoud Rajavi established his cult in the early years of the 1980’s by the time that Osho’s cult was in decline, he must have been more up-to-date to formulate his dictatorship on more strict rules than Osho had. His cult of personality is still working despite his nonappearance since 2003. He can be considered as the master of Osho. However, no cult has lasted for ever. More or less cults terminate for the same reasons.

When in 2003, Elizabeth Rubin of the New York Times visit Camp Ashraf, the headquarters of the Mujahedin Khalq (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ Cult of Rajavi) in Iraq, she reported what he had witnessed in an unbiased article titled “The Cult of Rajavi”. The article that turned out to be one of the most reliable sources on the MEK contained two paragraphs on how Massoud Rajavi replaced men with women in the command structure of his cult of personality. “Rajavi liked having women around him,” Rubin wrote.

However, it took the world almost a decade to know about sexual abuses that Massoud Rajavi committed against women of his group by the company of his wife and co-leader Maryam Rajavi and certain female commanders of the group. New evidences indicated that Massoud Rajavi is actually a Don Juan; an obsessive seducer of female members of his cult.

Gender segregation and forced divorces of married members of the group was one of the proceeding steps for woman abuse in the MEK. The 2009 report by the RAND Corporation noted how MEK rank-and-file had to swear “an oath of devotion to the Rajavis on the Koran” and highlighted the MEK’s “authoritarian, cultic practices” including ‘mandatory divorce and celibacy” for the group’s members. “Love for the Rajavis was to replace love for spouses and family,” explained the RAND report.

In Camp Ashraf Iraq and Albania, lines were “painted down the middle of hallways separating them into men’s and women’s sides,” according to RAND, and even the gas station there had “separate hours for men and women.”
In March 2020 Murtaza Hussain and Matthew Cole of the Intercept interviewed six defectors, including several who held senior positions and allegedly offered the most detailed account to date of what life was like inside the MEK. They interviewed Batool Soltani an MEK female commander and a member of the Elite Council of the group.

Batoul Soltani

“Maryam Rajavi came to us as female members of the group many times and asked us why we haven’t demanded to see our leader in his bedroom,” Soltani told the Intercept. “There was a strong pressure” on MEK women to initiate sexual relationships with Rajavi, she said, “to show your commitment to the leader and the group.” During a long brainwashing procedure, Batool was convinced by Maryam Rajavi to sleep with Massoud. Soltani has given written and filmed evidences on the whole procedure.
Another female member of the Elite Council, whom The Intercept agreed to identify only as Sima, said she joined the MEK in the 1980s and left it in 2014. “Unlike other former members, Sima asked that her real name not be used because she feared retaliation from current MEK members.,” the intercept writes. “She now lives in hiding in a European country and agreed to meet privately in a place where other local supporters of the group were unlikely to see her.”

Rajavi gave every single woman in the organization a pendant

Like many other female members of the MEK, Sima was also victim of Rajavi’s passion for power and women. According to the Intercept, for most of the next 14 years, Sima was confined to one section of Camp Ashraf, unable to move freely on her own. Like Batool Sultani, Sima described an intense form of psychosexual manipulation by Rajavi that she said became an integral tool for controlling female cadres. Years earlier, in 1995, “Rajavi gave every single woman in the organization a pendant and told us that we are all connected to him and to no other man,” Sima said. She was forced to divorce her husband and, like Sultani, eventually became sexually involved with Rajavi.

Don Juan’s entire career of seduction is based on his desire to humiliate women. As Don Juan Tenorio says in the famous Jose Zorrilla’s play: “my greatest pleasure is to trick women and leave them dishonored”.

Habilian Foundation (families of Iranian terror victims) caught up with a former member of MEK leadership Council to talk about the terrorist Cult of Rajavi (also known as Mujahedin-e Khalq, <img vspace="10"hspace="10"align="left"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Persons/Soltani/Soltani_Paris_201007.jpg"alt="MKO looted Iraqi munitions, lands after fall of Saddam"/>MEK, and MKO) and her two decades of experience in the terrorist cult.

In the first part of this serialized interview, Batoul Soltani talks about the way she and her 3-month-old baby were transferred to Iraq and then she further discusses the MKO’s situation in the very first year of their arrival in Iraq. The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Habilian: How the MKO members went to Iraq? Did they use legal ways? Did they have passport and visa or they went to Iraq illegally?

Soltani: In his dream to take power in Iran, Masoud Rajavi aligned with Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein who was at war with Iran. He left France for Iraq in a bid to overwhelm Iran, and spent exorbitant amounts of cash to draw together his members, opponents, even the addicts and poor people from all walks of life in Iraq.

Having Saddam’s government as his supporter, Rajavi gathered troops in Iraq and in neighboring Iran by forging travel documents and making fake passports with huge sums of money given by Saddam Hussein to help him overthrow Iran and make himself the full owner of Iran’s soil. For instance, I and my husband have been transferred to Iraq by a fake Iraqi passport with names of Zahra and Abrahim.

We did not know then the ominous thoughts of them for us, and we did deem it a right way and thought that we would be able to go to a European country, such as France and to enjoy a free life and well-being. But after our arrival, (Rajavi) took all our (travel) documents and destroyed the bridges behind us in a bid to compel us to remain in Iraq and to follow his organizational orders.

Habilian: How many members were in MKO in the first years of its presence in Iraq? What was the total number of members in the last year of Saddam Hussein’s rule?

Soltani: Rajavi tried to take all the members to Iraq at all costs. The number of members in the great operations was 5000, 1000 of whom were killed in Forough Javidan (Mersad) operation.

In the last year of Saddam’s rule, Rajavi sent a group of members to France along with his third wife, Maryam Rajavi. A bunch of members escaped the Organization, and the remaining members were 3400 in the last year of Saddam’s reign.

Habilian: How was the Organization provided with Camp Ashraf? How the facilities and infrastructure constructed there?

Soltani: After the meeting of Rajavi with Tareq Aziz, the then Iraqi foreign minister, known as Peace Meeting, and in his meeting with Saddam, Masoud Rajavi was gifted with Ashraf Garrison and several other garrisons at Iran-Iraq borders and in the deserts on the frontiers which previously belonged to Saddam’s Army as well as some palaces inside Baghdad.

Ashraf Garrison known as Filq II was smaller than the present, so Rajavi said that he needed bigger land. Thus, Saddam confiscated the surrounding lands and handed them over to Rajavi.

Later, the land which was about 36 square kilometers were laid down barbed wire and tall guard towers were built inside it. Electrical wiring and strong floodlights were installed on the sides of the garrison.

A prison was built inside it and a round-the-clock patrol and security forces made there a big and isolated prison.

Habilian: Did the Organization underwrite the building garrison and providing facilities? How did the Organization fund them?

Soltani: It was seemingly the Organization that underwrote the projects, but they took all the money from Iraqi government en masse. Notably before the fall of Saddam Hussein, the Organization was provided with so much money that immediately after the downfall of Saddam Hussein members of the Organization tried to buy companies in Iraq.

The Organization took out as far as it could the wretched peoples’ assets, so that they could establish foreign investments companies.

Habilian: How did the Iraqi people treat MKO?

Soltani: Since Iraqi Kurds remembered the Organization’s alignment with Saddam’s army in suppression of their uprising, they hated MKO members, and the rest of Iraqi people saw us as the members of (Saddam’s) army and they hated and feared us.

We have been prohibited to have contacts with Iraqi people even at the time of Saddam Hussein.

The Organization tried to replace this hatred and fear to relation and friendship. So, Rajavi ordered large parties to be held and thousands of Iraqi people were invited to dinner or lunch.

He spent very huge amount of money in this way. He even managed to penetrate into Iraqi society by organizing roughly 500 Iraqis with big costs. He established an Iraqi militia, and held Persian language classes inside the Garrison and paid them money.

Habilian: How did the members saw the Iraqi imposed war on Iran and their cooperation with invading forces who assaulted their territory?

Soltani: Masoud Rajavi has spent thousands of hours convincing their presence in Iraq and cooperation with aggressive Saddam. In the first step he tried to pretend that it was Iran who invaded Iraq and he instead described Saddam Hussein as a civilized and good man. He has made an angel in our minds from Saddam who was a demon. Rajavi even white-washed Saddam’s bloody hands in the massacre of Kurds, and said that Kurds are our enemies and (Iranian) regime’s accomplices.

Everything was censored in Rajavi’s Organization and we had no access to media, news, or free world. For example, he said: “we seek peace in order to prevent the killing of people, though, this is Iran which put all of their lives at stake and we want to prevent the war to stop killing people,” thereby he legitimized his collusion with aggressive forces.

Habilian: Did the relationship between the Organization and Iraqi government changed after the Iraq’s defeat in war?

Soltani: In his childish dream and of course with the help of his opportunistic personality, Rajavi attacked Iran after the defeat of Iraq in war with Iran, but he was rewarded with a strong slap in his face by Iranian people and his organization fled Iraq with 1000 casualties.

Then he said that children and wives prevented them from a good combat, so, he dismantled the families like a wolf sending the children to foreign countries and coerced wives to divorce. Thenceforth he himself married them.

He (Rajavi) had arguments with Iraqis too. He vituperated Saddam a lot, saying that his air support was not enough.

On the verge of Saddam’s overthrow, Rajavi took away Iraqi people and government’s properties, so that he got to extend the Camp (Ashraf) to the western (borders) by capturing Iraqi military forces headquarters. They also captured weapons and ammunition left around Iraqi Garrisons, and took them all to Ashraf Garrison claiming that they belonged to himself (Rajavi)!

To be continued.

Ms. Batoul Soltani, the former member of PMOI’s Leadership Council – the highest organizational rank in PMOI – bravery and honesty revealed the horrifying and shocking facts which are proving justly that this organization has been changed to a very robust notorious cult.<img hspace="10"alt="Ms. Batoul Soltani, the former member of PMOI's Leadership Council"vspace="10"align="left"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Persons/Soltani/Soltani_Paris_201007.jpg"/>

The shocking and terrifying facts unveiled by Ms. Batoul Soltani are about the ‘Salvation Dance’ which was performed by the Leadership Council’s women in front of Massoud Rajavi, the leader and founder of the Rajavi cult?

In this so-called Salvation Dance (nude dancing), the women of the Leadership Council were indoctrinated through cultic-religious psychological manipulation to remove all their clothes in front of their guru, spiritual leader, Massoud Rajavi, who is responsible for sending them to heaven while they die for him, in order to show their devotion and allegiance to him.

In her recent interview with Iran-Ghalam Association, Ms. Soltani has been courageous enough to reveal some shocking facts on sexual abuse against women in leadership Council of MKO by Massoud Rajavi.
Here are some extracted paragraphs of the above mentioned interview:

[…]Iran-Ghalam :in the conference held in Paris you pointed out the existence of sexual abuse and corruption in MKO cult […]I’d like you to enlighten our visitors on sexual exploitation committed by the cult’s leader systematically.

Batoul Soltani: it’s awfully difficult for me to review those memoirs in my mind but I’m thankful to God who put me in a position now to denounce the hidden facts of Rajavi’s organization and I’m ready to swear to Quran in order to give testimony in any court of justice.[…]

Once we had become members of Leadership Council in the winter of 1997 the Rajavis held a meeting in Badi’ Zadegan Camp [in Iraq]. We were told to take a bath before the meeting and all our clothes had to be clean […]Maryam Rajavi told us that this meeting was "the pool of Leadership Council, and "Dance of Salvation" with Massoud.[…] I was really worried about what was going to happen in the meeting. […] after everyone took a shower and wore make up, we were told to enter hall X which was decorated beautifully in white. There were two sofas …. […]

Maryam told us:" since then you are Massoud’s wives"[…]

Then Massoud read the wedding sermon for all women one by one.[…] then they took the table and spread a large white meters on the floor. I was shocked to see some high-ranking women of leadership Council took off their clothes and went to Massoud. Massoud was saying "yes take off your clothes of heresy and ignorance and dive in the pool to unite yourself with me in order to be resistant enough in every moment of your struggle." […] Maryam also said, "Get close to Massoud and unite with him."

I noticed that Maryam and some other high ranking members were monitoring us and trying to convince those of us who hesitated to remove their underwear.[…]Maryam said that we were no more jealous to each other so we could fight together.[…]she tried to persuade us to look at the others having sex with Massoud Rajavi.[…]

I, Batool Soltani Leadership Council and former MKO member, am completely up to date with the situation at the cult in the highest level. <img hspace="10"alt="I, Batool Soltani Leadership Council and former MKO member, am completely up to date with the situation at the cult in the highest level."vspace="10"align="left"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Persons/Soltani/Soltani_EP.jpg"/>

During the past three months the families of the captured members in the New Camp Iraq (ex-Ashraf) have arrived from different countries to meet their children after years of ignorance and have gathered in front the door of this camp. This organization has prevented the reunion to take place and they have cleared conditions that if such entry takes place their commander must be presence during this meeting.

While families want to visit their children without control by the organization, it is outrage that front of the eyes of whole word and all international organizations this cult could still follow and continue its cultic agenda.

Thank you for meeting with the three families and you listened to them. I request and am expecting you as a person of an International institution to intervene with Ashraf’s situation and for you to follow the situation closely.

I also want you to cooperate with the Iraqi government to eliminate any obstacles for these families to reunite with their children.

Even this cult has announced that your representatives stay on-site of the Ashraf, but this news is false because if your representatives were on-site of Ashraf then would have resolved this issue earlier.

Considering my understanding of the cult leaders on how they control and the enslavement of people I am ready to work with you to make you aware of this situation and to remove any barriers for families to meet with their children.

I emphasize the members of this organization continuously are under control hierarchy and have daily meetings to enquire about their most private problems.

The most basic human rights is considered unauthorized ,and organizations claim that people captive voluntary and accepted these conditions, but these captivity had been achieved in various ways to control the minds of members with of course decades support of Saddam Hussein’s regime. And all members really need psychotherapy and are out of control and urge your immediate action.

With many thanks and regards
Batoul Soltani

An interview with Batool Soltani on MKO self-immolations – Part 37

Sahar Family Foundation: One of the interesting points you referred to was the organization’s insistence on regular confession sessions of cleansing even in the course of the missions. I am interested to know how they justified it when on a mission.<img hspace="10"alt=""vspace="10"align="right"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Persons/Rajavis/Rajavis_7.jpg"/>

Batool Soltani: Any operation team was composed of two or three depending on the nature of the operations. One was in charge and he was the one to arrange and run the cleansing sessions. Even in his/her absence, other members had to sit by themselves to conduct it. They insisted on its performance since it was much necessary when members were out on mission in a free world among people and just a few steps away from the adversaries.

In the camp there were no enemy and consequently no fear. But out of the camp there always existed a potential threat that could lead to an influential demoralization. When among the society that the members were long away from, the felt nostalgia could obsess them with the thought of craving to be with their family and starting a warm, pleasant life just like other people. The temptation could easily erode their confidence in the organization to encounter it. That is where they needed to be cleansed of such temptations that could diminish their fighting morale. I think we have already talked enough about the issue.

SFF: Did Massoud have any contact with the teams while in isolation?

BS: before their departure, they would once meet with him which worked as a factor of encouragement. He would talk to them on the phone or received them individually in the presence of Maryam where they gave their pledge of loyalty to the red-line and the organizational principles and that the enemy would never succeed to have access to anything out of them. The emphasis was on Ahmad Rezai as the archetype they had to follow. Then he would say, ‘now move to show what you will give to the enemy and what you’ll take’. These meeting were really instrumental and some looked at it as their unforgettable memories and a matter of honor.

The impact of the meeting was enough to encourage and motivate them to the end and to risk their life for the accomplishment of the mission and the will of leader. The head-team of Lajevardi’s assassination, for instance, had a meeting with Maryam where he, Ali-Akbar Akbari, promised her to shot him just between his eyes. It was Massoud’s skill to instigate and provoke members and there were times when they would kneel before him crying and begging to be sent for the operations. He knew how to prepare them psychologically and if you could listen to his speech delivered before the operation Eternal Light, you would feel his charismatic influence in provoking three-four thousand forces, as he could well justify the failure of the operation.

SFF: Was the age of members of any importance in selecting them for the operations?

BS: Not very much. The average age of the members was 40 or younger. However, it was physical readiness rather than the age that could be counted. A physical test well indicated the degree of members’ readiness.

SFF: In this phase of operation we encounter the arrest of Marjan Malek and the organization’s contradictory reactions. Do you have anything more to add?

BS: At first, the organization thought she had been killed. So it began praising and glorifying her daring deed in its official gazette, Mojahed. Then it was surfaced that she was alive and arrested and it was brought into the Leadership Council to start advertising her collaboration with the regime’s information system. It was immediately put into action and her pictures were removed from the gazette. To justify her published disclosures about the organization, the organization tried to convince the lower cadres that she had failed to stand and resist the regime’s pressures and so had surrendered. Interestingly, the organization never mentioned her team-mate, Akbari, and evaded questions concerning him.

SFF: How successful was the organization in its ‘operations of ultimate’?

BS: They proclaimed them successful because of their wrong evaluation of Iran’s internal climate. They were under illusion of having people’s support which led them reckon on a 90 percent success. It was what they said to the teams to ensure them that they would certainly return to the camp. Actually, less than ten percent would return.

SFF: Why it was so?

BS: It was clear from the very beginning that they wouldn’t because there are reasons to justify. Imagine, how is it possible for a team going to a crowded bazaar to retreat while it is surrounded by crowds of people and police forces? Actually, the organization never reckoned on their return but on their demise; martyrs that benefited the organization for propaganda.

SFF: How they evaluated Iran’s social and security atmosphere?

BS: Their appraisal of Iran’s security and police apparatus was not realistic. Unlike the organization’s cautious considerations about the past regime’s security and police apparatus advertised to be highly cunning and sophisticated, it underestimated the capacity and potentialities of the present regime. While the organization was well aware of the fact that no sophisticated apparatus was needed to hunt one or two penetrated teams and that a simple but exact inspection and scrutiny by the police could lead to betray the teams. It was just what happened to Malek and her team-mate. Furthermore, the organization insisted on the social backing and inspirited the teams that they could reckon on people’s widespread protective umbrella to hit and escape; it was what it would say to lower ranks and operation teams but it was clear for higher layers and the Leadership Council that the teams would never return.

SFF: How they broached the issue of human shield in Auvers-sur-Oise?

BS: In Auvers, they have to abide by the rules of the host country but they run underground establishment. Their surface political struggle necessitates it to be organized and it acts according to legal regulations unless the red-lines are broken, that is to say, the sanctuary of the leadership is violated. The consequence will be something like the 17 June immolations. However, as I was not in Auvers lately, I cannot tell what approaches they are focusing on at the present. But, be sure that such activities never cease within Ashraf; the pass of time will show how they will put them into action in European countries.
