We are the former veteran members of PMOI (Rajavi’s cult), a terrorist cult organization which has been blacklisted as a terrorist organization by USA and Canada.
We would like to inform your Excellency that MR. ALEJO VIDAL QUADRASS, the Vice President of the European Parliament is helping and backing up the PMOI’s leader MRS. MARYAM AZDANLO and her terrorist cult in European parliament.

We would like to notify your Excellency that this brutal and savage religious cult (PMOI) has perpetrated lots of crimes against the people of Iraq during Saddam Hussein’s reign and suppressed and repressed its own members for decades.

We are all victims of this brutal and tyrant cult, who had been under severe and harsh physical and psychological mistreatment and torture by the henchmen of this cult for years just because we dared to criticize the leaders of this cult and their cultish ideology which is considered as a deadly sin and is totally against the cultish regulations and rules of law in this cult.

We are all witnesses of killing and murdering lots of innocent people of Iraq by PMOI’s military missions in complicity and complete co-operation with Saddam Hussein’s army during the popular uprising of the people of Iraq.

We are all surprised that MR. VIDAL QUADRASS is helping and backing up such a cruel and bloodthirsty cult which has committed numerous crimes not only against its own members but also against the people of Iraq.

Helping and backing up this terrorist and inhumane cult will ruin and damage the popularity and prestige of anyone who aligns himself with them.

deliberation on the current conditions of Mojahedin after the removal of the EU terrorist entities’ list, current developments of the Ashraf Garrison and reflection of the imminent outcomes of Masood Rajavi’s recent message.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="text-align: center; margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><o_p> </o_p>

Dated February 21 of 2009, a 6-hour gathering held with the presence of separated ex-members of the People Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) in Paris. Most of these former members have already been emancipated from the cage of Ashraf Garrison and reached the European states. In this get-together, the latest developments of the Ashraf Garrison and critical conditions of the incarcerated victims were discussed and the participants implored the Iraqi govt. to spread out its human efforts with the aiming of creature of the free space for victims’ families visit away from Mojahedin officials’ interventions and intrusions. The précis of the partakers’ views is as underneath.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="text-align: center; margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><o_p><o_p><img hspace="10"alt="deliberation on the current conditions of Mojahedin after the removal of the EU terrorist"vspace="10"width="250"height="194"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/WebSite/Iran_Bastan/20090221/Iran_Bastan_20090221.jpg"/></o_p></o_p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="text-align: center; margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><o_p> </o_p>

In the opening, Mr. Karim Haghi, one of the Mojahedin former top officials put forward some questions pertaining to the past and existing developments of the Mojahedin. Subsequently, the Mojahedin victims replied the proposed questions in conformity with their visual observations as outlined beneath:

Mr. Engineer Hassan piransar: the Mojahedin cult leadership, Masood Rajavi, and Maryam Rajavi left their victims by themselves and fled at any historic juncture and dilemma to save their own lives. Masood Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi were the first who escaped the scene of war. In the military rules, the commander is the last one who leaves the war field. This reality shows that this leadership does not pay the cost of his action from his own pocket…. One of the ways to put pressure on the Iraqi govt. is to resort hunger strike versus the Ashraf garrison victims’ willing. The Mojahedin in charges compel the victims to go on hunger strike by means of threat…. afterward apprehend of Maryam Rajavi, the top officials of the cult asked the whole subordinates to commit self-burning suicide in the Ashraf garrison and the around of this base. Nevertheless, no one accepted the top officials’ demands. From then on, the question arose among the subordinates that, if the self-burning suicide is a correct and revolutionary action, why the cult top officials do not commit so…

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="text-align: center; margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><o_p><img hspace="10"alt=""vspace="10"width="250"height="196"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/WebSite/Iran_Bastan/20090221/Iran_Bastan_20090221_1.jpg"/></o_p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="text-align: center; margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><o_p> </o_p>

Mr. Nader Naderi, an ex-member of the Mojahedin cult who has taken part in the Mojahedin military hostilities against Kurdish not guilty people, confessed the terrible scenes of the Kurds genocide and carnage. Such as a woman commander called Maboobeh ordered her subordinates to open a fire on a residential place occupied by many people on the contrary to her subordinates’ objections…

Mr. Hamid Siah Mansouri: Masood Rajavi’s latest message is an evident symptom of the violation of international laws owing to ignoring the right of national sovereignty of Iraq through frequent threats. He aroused the Ashraf victims for hunger strike followed by commit suicide and self-burning. According to the principles of the UN charter, Iraq govt. can work out the pre-emptive actions to defend its territory that facing jeopardy and insecurity.

Mr. Mansoor Nazari: now, Masood and Maryam Rajavi claim that the extradition to Iran is a “crime against humanity” but they themselves have already exercised these action frequent years and sent the dissidents of Mojahedin cult to Iran to pretext that there was no dissident surrounded by the cult. This cult killed the ones who had decided to abandon the cult as Saied Noroozi and Saied Kiani and the rest.

Mr. Mohammad Razaghi, a former member of Mojahedin cult: according to Rajavi’s rule, nobody was allowed to meet his or her family within the cultic relations. What happen? In addition, what has been changed? Nowadays, Rajavi has become an advocate of the family relations and feelings. Following the put an end to Saddam Hussein dictatorship, the Mojahedin cult top officials were unexpectedly surprised because, they bumped into a new phenomenon called ‘family’. So that they didn’t want the victims’ families to enter the Ashraf garrison. Therefore, they claimed that these families are the mercenaries of the Iranian Secret Service and asked Americans to detain them then American military forces took in for questioning these families ensuing Americans found out that they were victims’ families after a few hours.

Other victims at this gathering confirmed the above-mentioned bitter realties and expressed their terrible conditions under the control of Mujahidin

Beginning 11th of September 2001, the west has in the name of fighting terrorism made enormous investments in the Middle East with little to show for it in the past 5 years. In Afghanistan, the Taliban are growing stronger with each passing day. And in Iraq, the coalition military machine is stuck in the bloody conflict between Shiites and Sunnis.

Perhaps one of the explanations for this disaster can be that few, if any, western governments can come to an agreement as to what terrorism means. Whenever the economic and special interests of the west are in danger, there seems to be no hindrance or doubt in working with known terrorists. The violent and barbaric regime of Taliban came to power in 1996 amidst a civil war with the backing of Pakistan and C.I.A. with funding from Saudi Arabia and U.A.E. And it seems Pakistan is now being portrayed as a close ally in the fight against terrorism.

Saudi Arabia was one of the biggest contributors to the Taliban regime and was one of only three nations worldwide which recognized the Taliban as a legitimate government. Today, these three countries are regarded as the United States’ allies in the ‘war against terrorism’. There are many examples of such double standards, which begs the question, ‘how are we to trust the west’s intentions in this global battle against terrorism?’

The west conveniently ignores human rights issues in countries which it regards as allies such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and others. Clearly this ‘war on terror’ is a complex, multilayered issue.

A glaring example of the lack of clarity on this issue is that a number of western countries, in the name of fighting the Iranian regime, have chosen to support the terrorist cult of Mojahedin-e Khalq of Iran (aka MKO, PMOI, NCRI). The MKO has a 40 years’ history filled with violence and terrorist activities. This group has also shown the brunt of its viciousness toward its own members, and has resorted to torture and imprisonment and also killing of its internal opponents. The cult of Mojahedin-e Khalq, drew a large following with its anti-imperialist and anti-Israeli slogans during and after the revolution of 1979. They proclaimed in its newspaper that they would turn Iran to another Vietnam for the Americans and the assassination of six American personnel in Iran before the revolution was and always has been a proud achievement in their past. Of course they will deny this now, but documents and evidence show otherwise.

The MKO cult then fled to Iraq and for the next 20 years became a close ally of Saddam Hussein. Under the reign of Saddam Hussein the MKO became a more trusted part of his apparatus of power than his own Republican Guard. And he had good reasons for feeling that way. The MKO has a large and well connected public relations department that will distribute any news about Iran to the outside world no matter how small and insignificant. But it’s interesting to note that the Mojahedin-e Khalq have never publicly denounced the terrorist act of 11th of September either on their TV channels or their numerous websites or newspapers. Even more startling are the stories of joyful celebration which greeted the September 11th attack which were revealed by ex-members of MKO who fled the organization after the Iraq invasion of 2003 and the fall of Saddam Hussein. In 1991 when the Ba’athist Party and military was facing uprisings from the Iraqi masses, the MKO stood firm and helped to suppress the Iraqi people on Saddam Hussein’s orders. The Mojahedin-e Khalq saw their common interest with Saddam Hussein, and formed an even closer relationship with the Iraqi dictator.

Interestingly, the greatest support for the MKO beside Saddam Hussein has always come from the U.K. parliament; the House of Lords and the House of Commons. A number of these parliamentarians are unaccountably eager to present the MKO as an alternative to the current regime for the Iranian people.

A parliamentary group has been created for the so-called task of ‘freeing Iran’. I personally have no objection to efforts aimed at the establishment of a democratic government in Iran and have fought for the past 20 year for that same purpose. But when I see that these members of the British parliament are supporting a terrorist cult, then no matter how much I study it, I can’t seem to come to grips with the thinking and motives of these parliamentarians. I ask myself whether this is the result of old-fashioned British colonial thinking which deems it necessary to interject their involvement in the fate of Third World countries. Or could it be that the few individuals who openly support the MKO have short term interest in the form of payment from the MKO, as their reason of support? Or maybe it’s simply old age that has brought them to this decision?

When members of the Lords support the Mojahedin-e Khalq, then democracy and human rights have surely lost their meaning.

I’m certain that none of this support will lead anywhere simply because the MKO have no base of support in Iran and there is nothing but contempt for an organization that is seen as treacherous and an enemy of the people.

Western politicians must become aware that the people of Iran hate the MKO with a passion. Hundreds of former members of the MKO who have left the organization and have are settled around Europe and other countries are more than willing to speak about the facts surrounding this dangerous, destructive cult. I look forward to the time that particular members of the House of Lords finally pay attention to these facts.

Respectfully,

Karim Haghi Moni

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">US should dump the terrorist MKO as it gets ready for a date with Iran

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">After 27 years, the US and Iran have finally engaged in serious flirtation that will hopefully result in a date followed by a long-term relationship! It is certainly the right thing for US and Iran to sit down and talk and reach a peaceful resolution of their differences. This is the wish of Iranians, Americans and the overwhelming majority of the rest of the world. Imposing sanctions on Iran or ordering military strikes against her is unwise, wrong, and, simply stated, criminal. This will bring death and destruction for Iranians and most probably Americans. It will also potentially create a global upheaval that will cause extreme hardship for people in many other countries. This may even lead to WWIII with consequences beyond imagination. Fortunately it seems we have started to move away from such a bleak scenario and we may be able to instead witness a honeymoon!

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">But dangers still remain. Today many groups and personalities are calling for direct talks between US and Iran. Many more are voicing their opinions against military attacks on Iran. However, there are also many ill-wishers around doing their best and utmost to sabotage the US-Iran engagement. There is only one group in particular that’s hotter than the neo-cons when it comes to pushing for a military strike on Iran. And that’s no other than the terrorist cult group Mojahedin Khalgh Organization (MKO), also known as MEK and National Council of Resistance of Iran.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">According to many accounts by former members of the group and independent analysts, the MKO is run as a cult under the tight rule of Maryam Rajavi. The other leader of the group, Massoud Rajavi (Maryam’s husband), disappeared from the public scene after the US invasion of Iraq. It is rumored that he is in custody of American forces.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">The MKO has a very dark record among which are:

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">– Assassination of three American military advisors in Iran in the 1970s.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">– Conducting many terrorist activities in Iran in the last 30 years, causing death and destruction.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">– Engaging in military suppression of Kurds and Shiites in Iraq as ordered by Saddam.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">– Imprisoning and torturing their internal opposition.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Based on this dark record, the MKO is recognized as a terrorist group by both Europeans and the U.S. State Department. Yet one has to wonder why the leadership of this group is still being protected by both Europeans and Americans and given the luxury to spread their terror?

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">It is true that since the invasion of Iraq, MKO fighters in Iraq have abandoned their armed campaign. But this was clearly not a decision of choice but rather one imposed on them by force. And while the MKO didn’t welcome giving up their arms, they at the same time realized their dire situation and welcomed being placed under the protection of American troops. Since without that protection, the Shiite and Kurdish forces would have undoubtedly slaughtered the MKO fighters for their past collaborations in suppressing their people. For this we should give credit to U.S. for doing the right thing.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">But the MKO terror hasn’t ended. It has merely changed shape and been transformed. The terrorists laid down their arms, but they picked up pens instead. Now every day they are poisoning the air with their disinformation campaign focused on bringing military attacks by Americans on Iran.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Someone can shout “fire” in a theatre and cause rampage and death. Another person may achieve that goal by blowing up a bomb there. These are both terrorist acts. The only difference is, in the latter case people die with a bang!

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">The fact is, the MKO is shouting “fire” every day. They do this through their own web site as well as proxy sites such as Iran Focus and Iran Terror. One search on the internet shows the extent of this. And they especially time their “explosive” announcements, “news articles” and press releases and detonate them every time there is an IAEA meeting or another important event. It’s clear that as a terrorist group they are highly trained and good at inflicting the maximum damage.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">If the Bush administration and the Europeans (especially France where the MKO leadership is based) are sincere about fighting terror, they should start at home. You brought the Taliban to their knees for their terrorist activities, at the cost of many American lives. You cannot be selective. You must also bring the MKO cult headed by the Rajavis to justice. You must not allow this group to roam western countries and freely poison the air and spread their terrorism. The MKO is not a legitimate opposition force but a terrorist group, as admitted by both the US State Department and the European Union. How is it that people who haven’t been charged with anything languish in Guantanamo while the MKO leadership who have been recognized as terrorists enjoy the hospitality of the US and Europe? People are looking for answers!

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Many Iranians thought highly of the MKO before the revolution and in the first few years after. They thought this group is fighting for change and for establishing democracy, until they showed their true face. It is true that the MKO was fighting for change. But a change that transfers control to them and allows them to impose their own brand of dictatorship and allows them to ruthlessly manipulate the masses. I have known people who were duped by this group and later died in Iraq. I have seen people turn into zombies once integrated into this cult. This army of clones was programmed to repeat the words of their leadership, unable to engage in discussion of issues as their ears and lips were shut tight by the order of their leadership. I’ve seen this first hand as many other Iranians have. This is an organization responsible for thousands of lives lost in Iran, Iraq and even in Europe (members committing self-immolation to protect Maryam Rajavi).

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Now the MKO leaders are ready to sacrifice the whole of Iran for their own survival. That’s the monster that this group has turned into. It will be a big mistake for the American and European governments to continue to nurture this monster. The MKO hasn’t had a base among people in Iran for a long time now. It is in fact one of the most hated groups due to its collaboration with Saddam. American Congressmen, Senators and European MPs are strongly advised to do their homework in order not to fall into the trap of MKO propaganda. Only an ignorant person not knowing the true nature of MKO, or an insane one will declare support for MKO. While insanity can be excused, ignorance cannot. Everyone is responsible to know what they are supporting! Isn’t it true that people who give shelter or support to Al-Qaeda will be prosecuted even if they claim ignorance about the group? I’m sure you want to do the right thing and support the aspirations of Iranians for democracy. But when you offer the MKO as the alternative, you make a mockery of your efforts. If you have done your homework and can prove otherwise, Iranians are all ears to hear your story!

<p class="MsoNoSpacing"style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify">The US and Iran are finally getting ready to sit down and talk. This is a historic event which will hopefully diffuse the current crisis in the short term and result in the establishment of peace in the region in the long run. A successful dialogue will also alleviate the anxieties of the people around the world who do not wish to see another war, more death and destruction, and disruption of the oil supplies. At this critical juncture, it is important to be mindful of ill-wishers, warmongers and terrorist groups who don’t wish for US and Iran to engage. We simply cannot allow a terrorist group with a dark record to sabotage the wishes of the Iranians, Americans, and the rest of the world.

Mr. Jack Layton, Leader of NDP

House of Commons

Ottawa, ON K1A 0A6

Dear Mr. Layton,

GOOD TERRORIST AND BAD TERRORIST?

We would like to request you to address the Iranian Community’s concerns regarding the reality that certain members of the Conservatives and Liberal Caucuses are receiving support from and meeting regularly with an exile group of Iranians aligned with Neo -Cons in the U.S. Indeed, given that the group previously acted under the patronage of Saddam Hussein,. The group is despised by mainstream Iranians residing in Canada, as well as in Iran, ordinary citizens and political activists.

The organizations is so called Mojahedin Khalq (MKP) and/or the National Council of Resistance of Iran (N.C.R.I). Nonetheless, they habitually assume given names to elude the authorities of countries in which they are active.

The number of occasions on which Liberal or Conservative members of Parliament have met with this organization are numerous, and include, but are not restricted to the followings:

1. December 18, 2005: Two Conservatives member of Parliaments (MPs) and one independent flew to Toronto to attend a conference organized and attended exclusively by members of the Mojahedin at the Colony Hotel in Toronto. The Four MPs consisting of Stockwell Day, Paul Forseth, Yasmin Ratansi , and David Killgour all spoke and endorsed the idea of regime change in Iran by military force.

2. March 31, 2006: Yasmin Ratansi; Jim Karygiannis; Susan Kadis; and Bryon Wilfert attended a meeting organized and attended exclusively by members of the Mojahedin organization. In fact, Yasmin Ratansi and Bryon Wilfert decided to ignore a meeting arranged by mainstream Iranians and decided instead to only attend this meeting. Such as they did at a forum by four parties candidates on election on Jan 9, 06.

As such, while it is understandable that reasonable people will disagree about the proper definition to be accorded terrorists, given that this is an organization listed as terrorist by the Canadian Government, suggests that these Members of Parliament have taken it upon themselves to distinguish between good and bad terrorists.

For example, how is it that Foreign Minister Mackay can state "not a red cent to "Hamas" and decide to withhold funding from the Palestinian territories, while other Members of Parliament meet with the terrorist organization members right here in our own backyard. To put it differently, am I the only person who finds it hypocritical that Mr. Stockwell Day who is the current Minister of Public Safety has no misgivings about dealing with a terrorist organization?

It is important to note that, the vast majority of Iranian-Canadians residing in this country loathe the Mojahedin. While the majority of Iranians fled Iran to escape theocrats authoritarian regime, the Ayatollahs, they have the same tolerance for the Mojahedin.. The reasons for such hatred are, after all, quite obvious and understandable. Because the organization is undemocratic and sectarian that practicing violence. Such reputable organizations as Human Rights Watch have recently dedicated two studies to cataloguing serious violation of Human Rights and crimes undertaken by this organization.

Statement on Responses to Human Rights Watch Report on Abuses by the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) (February 5, 2006)

Human Rights Abuses Inside the Mojahedin Khalq Camps (May 2005)

As Iranian-Canadians, we expect our government in Ottawa to make good on its promise of supporting democracy. As members of Canadian society we are wedded to the understanding that democracy in Iran will not be achieved by resorting to military action or supporting proxy organizations such as the Mojahedin.

Our appeal is simple, respect the views of Iranian-Canadians. Do put pressure on the ruling clergies to respect freedom of speech and free all the prisoners of conscious, seeking justice for Zahra Kazemi and respect the Human Rights and democracy. Democracy in Iran will not achieved by the military actions. Any government that turns a blind eye to atrocities that are blatant violations of human rights, is an accessory to these acts. May we point out after more than 53 years Iranian have still not forgotten the U.S. led coup in 1953 against the democratically elected government of Dr. Mohammad Mosadegh.

With the hope of your immediate consideration,

Yours truly
