Former MEk member, Mostafa Beheshti’s testimonies on the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK)’s violence in Iranian protests was released in Press TV’s report.

In just one month, Iran was thrust into the global spotlight. Protests erupted. Chaos spread. Ordinary citizens stood against violence, restoring order in the face of terror.

But behind the unrest lay a hidden war; coordinated attacks, sabotage, and the deliberate targeting of lives, cities, and culture. This is the story of a nation tested, of resilience… forged in fire!

Mostafa Beheshti, former member of the MEK was interviewed by Press TV in this investigated report on the protests.
He explains how the group under the leadership of the US and Israel works against Iranian interests.

https://dlb.nejatngo.org/Media/Report/PressTV/Beheshti-Mostafa-Presstv.mp4

“At the top of the MEK, Israel and the US are giving the orders,” he told Press TV. “They issue the instructions and the terrorist group is just the executer.”

According to Beheshti, one or two months before these events the MEK began their work in the telegram groups using fake accounts. Then, they entered their operatives through western borders of Iran, those who are armed to commit acts of destruction and sabotage against civilians and security forces.

Beheshti said that paying the vandals is a longstanding tradition in the MEK. “They had also instructed their members that all activities should be done in person and that no messages should be sent on online platforms,” he explains how the MEK hires mercenaries. “They operated in three-person cells. I this set-up one person from outside the country contacted a three-member team.”

About the fee of violence, he adds, “We were paying around 200 to 300 million for arson and clashes with security forces using crypto currency and exchanging offices. In some cases, we had a separate method. The payment was hidden in trash bins in parks.”

Former member of the MEK finds a common aspect in recent incidents in Iran and the MEK’s acts of terror in the early years of the Islamic Republic. “If I want to put it briefly these events were very similar to what happened in Iran in the 1980s,” he states. “At that time, they needed to manufacture death and portrait themselves as victims in order to convince the public”
As a defector who spent 20 years inside the MEK, he has no doubt that the scale of killings carried out by the MEK has not even committed by Daesh. “These are done to demonstrate their loyalty and mercenary role on behalf of Israel,” he says.

Mostafa Beheshti , former member of the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization, reveals on Vox News Albania, that men and women inside the camp face human rights abuses regularly, including rape.

In an interview, published by VOX News Albania, a former member of the MEK, Mustafa Beheshti, revealed what happened inside the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organisation (MKO) camp located in Manza, Durrës.

Mostafa Beheshti, according to the news website, broke down in tears as he described the agony he experienced at the camp which he escaped after 18 years of suffering. The former member, who is 40 years old, said he was only allowed to leave after he threatened to burn himself alive.

It was also reported that Mostafa Beheshti underscored that the MKO camp was filled with well-trained terrorists and are very dangerous. The former member stated “The oldest are soldiers and they know a lot of things. Many of them lived in America and were IT engineers. Even now there are people in America working for them. They have a lot of money.”

Mostafa Beheshti then went on to highlight that people in the camp had no freedom and that their basic human rights were violated. For example, he explained that his late brother had not seen his son or family for 22 years before he died. He said “After 22 years, I want to see my family. We can’t go there, our families can’t come here.”

Moreover, Mostafa Beheshtii stressed that “there are many women and men who are raped every day there.”

The former member, who currently lives in Tirana, also explained that “we substantiated every fact there and often they accused us that you are not Mujahid.” As for their day-to-day life, Beheshti said “If you talked to a girl or joked with her, they would consider you immoral and lecture you.”

Mostafa Beheshti’s mother passed away in April, 2018 while she was languishing for her beloved son who was imprisoned by the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization. Mostafa was never allowed to call his sick mother.
Mostafa was smuggled by the MEK recruiters from Iran to the MEK’s headquarters in Iraq, Camp Ashraf. He was taken as a hostage for 21 years. He was never allowed to contact his family in all those years.
He writes about the reason on his Facebook account. “The MEK is terrified of its members’ defecting,” he writes. “Thus, it is against any kind of contact or visit with families.” He explains that the tactic is used by the MEK authorities under the direct ruling of Massoud Rajavi. “In a series of meeting, Massoud Rajavi would define family as the enemy of the MEK,” Mostafa writes. “He said, ‘Family means enemy; means Iranian Intelligence Ministry!”

https://dla.nejatngo.org/Media/Nowruz/Gilan/Beheshti_Mum_201804.mp4

This is why Mostafa could never call his mother even though she was sick in hospital when she sent a video message in the hope that Mostafa will find the chance to watch it from inside the MEK. The video was published by Nejat Society website just a few days before the death of that heart-broken mother.
“Even when my mother published a video from her hospital bed and asked me to contact her, the MEK leaders did not allow me to call her,” Mostafa Beheshti sadly states.

Mostafa Beheshti was actually deceived by a fake letter allegedly written by his brother Morteza who had been some years earlier recruited by the MEK in Turkey. Morteza was married and had a little son (Alireza) when he went to turkey to find a good job, make money and get back to his family. Unfortunately, he could never return home after he was smuggled to Iraq, by the MEK recruiters in Turkey. In April 2010, Morteza was killed in Camp Ashraf.

During all those years the Beheshtis had no accessible way to contact their two sons. After the killing of Morteza, they made efforts to release the second son but they were not permitted to contact or visit him. Their sister, Narges who had previously traveled to Iraq several times, took actions that had no outcome.

Mostafa was only able to leave the MEK after the group was relocated in Albania. Mostafa could ultimately manage to leave the group in 2020. He is now an active member of the Association for the Support of Iranians living in Albania (ASILA).

Mostafa Beheshti former member of the Mujahedin-e Khalq testified that he was sexually harassed when he was a member of the group.
It can be hard to talk about an experience with sexual harassment. Sexual abuse takes away dignity and self-confidence and sometimes a victim may not speak up for years due to the mental trauma. However, two years after defection from the MEK, Mostafa spoke out on his Facebook account.

Mostafa Beheshti

Mostaf Beheshti who is now a member of the Association for the support of Iranians Living Albania (ASILA) tries hard to reveal facts on the true nature of the MEK by posting his memoirs in his social media accounts. This time he revealed his untold story of being sexually harassed by a Mujahed nurse in the clinic of Camp Ashraf.

“I went to the camp’s clinic because of asthma,” Mostafa writes. “I talked to the nurse about my problem. He told me to lie down on the bed and take of my pants so that he can examine. He then locked the door.”

Mostafa wondered why he was told to take his pants off while Asthma is a chronic disease that affects the airways of lungs. He asked about it. “Your body need Oxygen!” he was answered by the nurse.

The nurse brought him a pill and a glass of water. “Take it to get better,” he said. After taking the pill, Mostafa felt lethargic and fell asleep. He recounts, “After 20 minutes, I woke up I saw the nurse touching my penis. Being so shocked I told him ‘What are you doing with me!?’”

“The nurse was scared,” Mostafa continues. “He asked me not to tell the authorities.” However, Mostafa went to his direct higher rank and told him. The man got upset but he took no action.

Mostafa’s direct supervisor told him, “If I tell the authorities about it, they will not accept. I have witnessed several cases like the one that happened to you but finally we will be accused, not the abuser.”

Today, as a member of ASILA association Mostafa believes that such revelations about what is going on inside Ashraf 3 can help the world know the MEK and this might aid release the people who are still taken as hostages in the group’s camp called Ashraf 3 in Albania.

While the mujahedin-e Khalq Organization’s propaganda machine endeavors to label its former members as spies of the Iranian government, the most recently defected member, Mostafa (Milad) Beheshti stated that his cellphone has been spied by the group commanders shortly after his departure from Camp Ashraf 3 in March 2021.

Mostafa Beheshti officially declared his defections from the MEK a few weeks ago. Then, he joined the Association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA). Once he was completely independent from the MEK, he found the courage to begin denouncing the group.
Mostafa has posted several facts on what he experienced under the MEK’s cult-like oppressive ruling on his accounts in social media. MEK commanders’ spying on Mostafa’s cellphone is one of his testimonies on MEK’s Gestapo-like atmosphere that he published on his Facebook account, on July 14th, 2022:

Mostafa Beheshti

“A few days after my departure from Camp Ashraf 3 in March 2021, Javad Khorasan [An MEK commander] asked me to go to the camp, he wanted to talk to me. I took my phone with me and put it in a locker in the entrance of the camp. I had bought it a few days earlier. It had no problem. When I got back and took it, the phone was not working. The screen started going black constantly. I noticed that the messages on my WhatsApp and Telegram had been read, they had double blue ticks, although I had not read them yet.”

Mostafa took his cellphone to the store he had purchased it from. The salesman kept the phone for a day to fix it. The next day Mostafa got back to the store and heard the horrific news. “The man asked me where I had taken the phone,” he recounts on his Facebook. “He kept on saying that an external cable must have been connected to my phone and a virus has entered it. He said that all my pictures, messages and contacts had been copied from my mobile. He told me that the phone was no more safe to use. I was shocked. The man showed me a package including a harmful virus on the phone warning me that all my contacts could be monitored since then.”

Mostafa Beheshti left that phone and bought a new one and since then whenever he wanted to go to Camp Ashraf 3, he did not take his phone. “Abdollah and Javad Khorasan [MEK commanders] asked me each time why I had not taken my cellphone,” Mostafa writes. “When I told them about what they did with my phone, they did not admit and told that the Iranian regime did it!” Mostafa Beheshti warned other defectors of the MEK about the spying project of MEK leaders on defectors’ personal life outside Camp Ashraf.

The coincidence is that Mostafa Beheshti was persecuted by the Albanian anti-terrorism Police on the same day he published this post. Beheshti together with 19 other members of ASILA were kept in Police department under the allegations of spying for the Iranian government. Their apartments, cars and the office of ASILA were investigated by the Police but nothing illegal was found. The police presented the documents of their final reports on not having found anything illegal in the raid on ASILA members’ properties.

Mostafa and his friends were freed a few hours later while the MEK’s propaganda machine is still propagating disinformation about its former members. The MEK leaders do not admit that each of these people had worked for them for dozens of years before their defection, instead they make efforts to revenge them by labeling them “as agents of the Iranian regime MOIS and IRGC, who have been parroting the regime’s talking points against the MEK under the banner of “former MEK members”.”

The only “crime” of MEK defectors, according to the leaders of the group, is that they did not want to stay in the cult. They want a normal life in free world without being continuously scrutinized by leaders of the Cult of Rajavi.

The text of the letter is as follows:

Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Albania

Greetings and Regards,
I am Narges Beheshti, the sister of Mostafa Beheshti, who used to be a member of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, MKO) in Albania, but now he is out of their camp and is freely living his normal life in Tirana.
I was informed that on the morning of Thursday, July 14, 2022, based on the 6-page order of the prosecutor, the Albanian police approached the residence of a number of Iranians living in Tirana who were formerly members of the MEK, including my brother Mostafa Beheshti, and inspected their places and belongings. And then the police took them to the police station for questioning. Also, according to the 3-page report of the police, finally: “No illegal items were found in the inspected places, cars and equipment.”

I also learned that the action of the police was based on false information that the MEK provided to the anti-terrorism police. Apparently, this is not the first time that the Albanian police acted based on false information received by the Rajavi Cult.

The fact is that many people inside the camp of the Rajavi Cult want to separate, and the MEK prevents them from leaving with the trick that if they separate, they will have a difficult life ahead of them. Therefore, the conditions of those like my brother who have returned to a free and normal life causes more people to want to leave, and therefore Maryam Rajavi tries to make the life of those separated more difficult.

It is surprising that the Albanian government does not know the true nature of Maryam Rajavi and the MEK after all these years. Such games should no longer deceive anyone and cause the Albanian police to become the toy of an illegal organization (MEK) against a legally registered association (ASILA).

Sincerely Yours,
Narges Beheshti
Tehran, Iran
