Dr. Mai Sato

Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran
With regards.
I am Hamael Ghanizadeh, the mother of Mehri, Nahid and Mahmoud Saadat, who are living in the closed camp of Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK) in Albania and without any right to have contact with the outside world and with their family.

I plea you to hear our voices as elderly, suffered mothers of MEK members. We have been wronged a lot, if we are among the same people for whom you are responsible for human rights, please help us too, we have souls, we also have hearts, we are the most aggrieved of all, we are waiting for our loved ones’ visit for a long time.

You are a human being, feel a little sorry for us mothers who have been exiled and suffering and suffered mental torture. Come, we have souls, we also have hearts, we are the most afflicted of all, we have been blind for several years.
Please care about our sufferings. Why shouldn’t we be able to visit our loved ones? What is our sin? Our only sin is to be mothers of MEK members!

Ms. Mai Sato, you might be a mother yourself, do you tolerate such a situation? As a mother, how much can you tolerate not seeing your children? 1 year? two years ?10 years? 40 years??

I haven’t met my three children for more than 37 years, I don’t know how to talk about my request, my sufferings and my grieves. now, I am an aging, ailed mother who needs your help. I can’t bear this suffering anymore.

Respected authority, I want you to help me and other mothers of MEK members.
where else in the world would a mother be deprived of seeing her children for such a long time!
many years? Were our children killed? Are they prisoners? Doomed not to meet? What is the sin of our children? Have they killed someone? Are they prisoners of MEK leader?

Ms. Maryam Rajavi considers the Islamic Republic as enemy, however prisoners of IR allowed to visit their families weekly and, in some cases, gives them time off. The MEK claims to be Human Rights advocate but it does not allow its members to visit their mothers or even have a short telephone call. They even are not allowed to write letter to their mothers.

Please accelerate my visit with my children at the MEK Albania’s camp. Please let me have a meeting with you to recount my experiences with this organization. I am looking forward for your action as a human right activist.
We, mothers of MEK members plea you to help us with our visit with our children.

Sincerely,
Hamael Ghanizadeh, mother of three MEK hostages at Manze Camp, Albania.
Iran – Tabriz

Hamael Ghanizadeh called Mother Saadat is the mother of three members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq who has not visited her children for over three decades.

During the movie premier, once she was up on the stage to take photos, Mother Saadat told the audience:

“I have not seen my children for 35 years. I raised them with difficulties and now I miss them a lot. They do not write letters and they do not call me. I am addressing Maryam Rajavi. Do you believe in another Islam? Are you allowed to get married with two husbands but our children are deprived from marrying and visiting their parents? I am an old heart-broken mother. I might pass away and never see my children.”

On the occasion of the Persian New Year, Hamael Ghanizadeh called “Mother Saadat” sends a video message for her beloved children who have been taken as hostages by the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ Cult of Rajavi) in Albania for 33 years.

Speaking in Turkish, Mother Saadat mourns in the absence of Mehri, Mahmoud and Nahid for another new year holiday in the past years. “Release yourself from the hands of the dictators,” she addresses her children. “I am old. I cannot walk. I want to see you. I miss you. I hope we can visit each other someday.”

Referring to the despotic rule of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi over the MEK, she says, “What a dictatorship it is! If you were imprisoned in Tabriz during these 33 years, I was at least allowed to visit you.”

As leaders of the MEK do not allow the members to contact their families by any means, Mother Saadat asks her beloved son and daughters a few crucial questions, “What will Massoud and Maryam Rajavi do for the Iranian people if they come to power in Iran? What do they mean by such attitude towards their own members?”

Hamael Ghanizadeh mother of Mehri, Nahid and Mahmoud Saadat who are fell trapped in the MEK

The heart-broken mother of Nahid, Mehri and Mahmoud Saadat used to be a sympathizer of the MEK but now she hates the MEK. She explains the reason in the video message to her children: “You know that I used to love the MEK very much but now not anymore. When Massoud Rajavi launched that game of marriage and divorce [forced members to divorce their spouses] in order to keep you under his own control, I began to hate him. His act was illegitimate. I am not as I was before. Do not wonder why your mother has changed. The acts and attitudes of your leader made me hate the MEK.”

Mother Saadat warns her children about the brainwashing system of the Cult of Rajavi. She knows that her loved ones in Camp Ashraf 3 are kept in ignorance from what is going on in the outside world. She asks them to think deeply and make a correct decision.

“You just chant slogans for People! People! People!” she says. “I am one of the People! Stop chanting slogans! You cannot do anything! You just put yourselves and your families in trouble. You did not become a mother or a father. You ruined all your dreams and I am so sad for you.”

Mother Saadat hopes her three beloved children a prosperous new year in which they will be able to get determined to leave the Cult of Rajavi. About two thousand MEK members are imprisoned under the rule of the Rajavis’ dictatorship in Camp Ashraf 3, a heavily guarded camp in north of Tirana, the Albanian capital.

Hamael is the mother of Mehri, Nahid and Mahmoud Saadat, members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ Cult of Rajavi). She has been looking forward to visiting her children for 33 years. She has been an active member of Nejat Society in the campaign to release victims of the cult-like group. She is called Mother Saadat by other Nejat members.
Mother Saadat has written several letters to her three beloved children. The letters have been never received by them. She also traveled to Camp Ashraf, Iraq, when the group was located in the Iraqi territory but she was not allowed to visit her children.

“What kind of justice is this?”, she asked in her last letter to the UN General Secretary, António Guterres. “The MEK has separated my three children from me for 33 years now. I miss my two daughters and my only son. Maryam Rajavi, one of the leaders of the group, who takes democratic gestures, has taken my children as hostages.”
Mother Saadat also declared her support for the recent petition run by Nejat Society to call for the trial of the MEK leaders. The petition has been signed by over eleven thousand people to this date.

Mehri, Nahid and Mahmoud are in the MEK’s so-called Camp Ashraf three in Albania. They joined the group in 1987 when it was located in Iraq fighting against Iran alongside Saddam Hussein. They left their mother to fight for Massoud Rajavi but it was the end of their family union. The MEK media made Mehri and Mahmoud to take action against their mother labeling her as the agent of the Iranian government. However, the three siblings have been never shown together in the MEK media. Any family relationship is forbidden in the MEK.
