The recent act Canadian Government to delist the Mujahedin Khalq Organization seemed disturbing to us, members of Nejat Society, although it was not a surprise, regarding the earlier <img decoding="async" src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Nejat/Nejat_E1.jpg"alt=""width="170"height="162"align="right"hspace="10"vspace="10"/>removal of the group from the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations of the US State Department in September. Nejat Society works hard to help release friends and families who are held as prisoners by the MKO.

Once the MKO is delisted, what about the blood of thousands of people assassinated and tortured by the group? The recent decision sounds like a political signal to Islamic Republic of Iran, rather than an action to protect democracy and human rights. Thus, you can also recognize Saddam Hussein, Muammar Qaddafi and other brutal dictators as peace activists and human rights defenders! The MKO cooperated with Saddam Hussein in the suppression of Kurds and Shiites uprisings in the 1990’s, according to various reports including the famous RAND report 2009.

We truly wonder how an undemocratic violent cult of personality – see Elizabeth Rubin’s the “Cult of Rajavi”, 2003 – can be excluded from legal actions that outlaws a terror listed group or entity. Has the MKO really changed or the recent decisions are just a sign of change in Canadian politics?

The move by Canadian government came soon after Secretary Clinton’s decision to delist the MKO. The MKO was delisted in the United States following a large scale propaganda campaign that was led by a number of well-paid US prominent figures. The MKO’s multi-million dollar campaign ended with its designation as a “good terrorist”! The DOS might hope to use the group as pressure lever against IRI in the midst of nuclear complications with Iran and along with widespread sanctions against the country.

The MKO is no democratic based on numerous testimonies. “The MKO former members reported abuses ranging from detention and persecution of ordinary members wishing to leave the organization, to lengthy solitary confinements, severe beatings, and torture of dissident members,” reads HRW report on the MKO.

As former members of the MKO, we urge on pursuing various cases of suicide, assassination and sexual abuse in the Cult of Rajavi (MKO/MEK).It was just a month ago that a number of ex-members of the group revealed new secrets about sexual abuse, hysterectomy surgery and violation of women’s rights committed in the group. The disappeared leader of the MKO, Massoud Rajavi sent a message of congratulations to those women whose wombs were removed saying:”You’re liberated from sexuality” (!)

This is an absolutely significant sign of violation of human rights, particularly women’s rights to firstly force them to divorce their spouses, then separate them from their children, make them give their last sign of motherhood to the leader by removal of their wombs and ultimately to be sexually abused by him. Regarding such facts on the internal mysteries of the cult of Rajavi and many other evidences on the cult-like an terrorist substance of the group, we state our protest against the recent decision the government of Canada made to allow the cult to act freely in its territory. Western states should be responsive to public opinion.

We are families of Mujahedin- E- Khalq organization members. We founded Nejat Society (Salvation Society) about a decade ago. We have worked here to help release our loved ones who are holding as hostages in the MEK.

<img vspace="10"hspace="10"align="right"alt=""src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Gatherings/Iraq_201010/Iraq_Ashraf_Families.jpg"/>We suffer long-term separation from our children who have been imprisoned at camps of Mujahedin Khalq Organization. The group does not allow us to meet them. We have been picketing in front of Camp Ashraf, Iraq for over two and a half years.

Appreciating the efforts by the UN, ICRC and particularly Mr. Martin Kubler who recently presented a roadmap to evacuate Camp Ashraf, we urge them and other related international bodies to pave the way for us to visit our loved ones.

Despite the tough work done by the UN and Iraqi government to move Ashraf residents to Temporary Transit Location (Camp Liberty), the MKO leaders seek to blockade or at least to slow the relocation process by excuse-making and trouble-mongering. They try to tighten the bars of the cult around the members by preventing them from visiting their families.

Where in the world people including prisoners are forbidden to visit their family and friends?
We want our children back in the warm embrace of the family.

The following is a list of requests Nejat families ask to be addressed:

1-that the 1200 people remaining at Camp Ashraf be moved to TTL as soon as possible.
2- That residents of Camp Liberty (TTL) be allowed to meet with their families, relatives and friends freely without the presence of the MKO officials.
3-That UNHCR help find third countries for residents of TTL and help them get residency or refugee there.
4- That residents be granted the right to make phone calls and send letters to their families. Some of them have been never allowed to contact their families for over three decades.
Once again, we support Mr. Martin Kobler’s roadmap on Camp Ashraf and condemn the MKO for the barriers it makes against the plan which complies with the rights of Ashraf and liberty residents and their families .

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Kobler,<img width="200"vspace="10"hspace="10"height="142"align="right"alt="Nejat Society supports UN roadmap on Camp Ashraf evacuation"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Nejat/Nejat_EL.jpg"/>
We are family members of Mujahedin Khalq organization forces. We founded Nejat Society (Salvation Society) about a decade ago. We have worked here to help release our loved ones who are held as hostages in the MKO.

With greetings and respect to you and your colleagues at the United Nations Organization.

Your peaceful actions to avoid violence and bloody conflict between the MKO cult and the Iraqi government in relocating of the group captives to Camp Liberty and eventually to the free world have provoked the group leaders’ anger and wrath against you!

Appreciating you and your honorable colleagues we should mention that your effort for peaceful relocation of 3400 men and women –stranded in the MKO’s cultic thoughts– to Camp Liberty and from there to the free world, is a humanitarian and highly admirable deed. As the families and victims of the cult we know that the cult leadership who has always welcomed bloodshed and tension between cult members and the Iraqi government, do not like your suggested roadmap for camp Ashraf closure and instead of showing their gratitude to you and the United Nations for your endeavors, they have consecutively created spurious and baseless tensions, problems, excuses and obstructions in this peaceful relocation process.

Mr. Ambassador,
We would be pleased to cooperate with the United Nations in their humanitarian commitment to resolve Camp Ashraf issue. The followings are some suggestions to boost the plan:
-All the people at camp Ashraf and Liberty to be interviewed separately and freely with UN and ICRC.
-The residents of Camps Ashraf and Liberty to be allowed to meet their families and friends in a free atmosphere.
-The residents of the camps to be granted the right to choose for their own fate.

Sincerely,
Nejat Society

Regarding the deadline announced for its expulsion from Iraq, the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization finds no way to prolong its stay in Iraq although it enjoys the support of US and <img width="220"vspace="10"hspace="10"height="146"align="right"alt="The MKO takes action to overshadow the gatherings held by families of Ashraf residents in front of the Camp"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Gatherings/Iraq_201112/Iraq_20111220/Iraq_Ashraf_Families_7.jpg"/>European sponsors and it makes too many efforts in the international community. The most disastrous problem the MKO faces now is the demand of families picketing in front of Ashraf gates.

They want to visit their family member held in Ashraf in a private uncontrolled atmosphere.
The MKO has begun to contact families and to promise them a fake private visit.

During the past two years of families’ picketing in front of Camp Ashraf, the MKO has never been able to rationalize for members why it never let them visit their families. Today, it attempts to diminish families’ presence in front of Ashraf. In order to get rid of their current problems, MKO leaders use this deceitful ploy. Families picketing at the Camp gates should be cautious about such sort of tricks used by the group.

Regrettably, the MKO’s propaganda and its fierce lobby did succeed to get delisted from the European list in 2009 thanks to the funds they had paid European parliamentarians for many years.

It’s now time to take action against the group’s deceitful propaganda in the U.S.
Fortunately, the MKO is seriously getting hammered in US media. And, as people who suffered the worst experience within the cult of Rajavi, we call all freedom lovers from all over the world to leave their comments on US State Department website to prevent the removal of the MKO from the black list. Let’s illuminate the minds of US authorities about the true substance of this destructive cult.

Nejat Society believes that there is no need for relocation of Camp Ashraf. A look at recent cases indicates that so far about 1000 defectors of MKO could manage to live a free life in European countries as well as Iran and no judicial obstacle was on their way. If the cult leaders are honest in their words, they should allow the members to decide whether to leave the group or stay in the cult, with their own free will not under the atmosphere of fear and pressure. Then they will see that there will be no more residents to move to another Iraqi area.

The American plan to relocate Mujahedin Khalq Cult in an Iraqi area far from Iranian border, pending their final resettlement, is a trick to support the group. Nejat Society does not approve such a support for a terrorist destructive cult. <img vspace="10"hspace="10"align="right"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Nejat/Nejat_E1.jpg"alt=""/>

The visit between Tariq Aziz and Massoud Rajavi in the 1980’s and their eventual agreement on MKO’s settlement in Iraq was a mutually beneficial deal for both MKO and Iraqi Baath Regime:

1. Formation of MKO’s military wing, National Liberation Army(NLA) in order to overthrow Islamic Republic .Indeed, NLA turned into a tool in hands of Saddam Hussein to launch attacks against Iranian and Iraqi people.

2. Building enclosed garrisons as the Cult’s essential containers where the leaders brainwash forces .Camp Ashraf is one of the most important containers.

3. Funding MKO with huge amount of money by Saddam’s Baath regime and some other Arabic countries in the region.

Families of Nejat Society believe that their children are paying the cost of Rajavi’s treasonous acts. Nejat Society calls for the shutdown of Camp Ashraf and MKO expulsion from Iraq because:

1. Breaking the bars of the cult in Camp Ashraf or any other new camp can lead our children to decide for their own fate freely.

2. It prevents the cult from deceiving and then recruiting new forces that causes the collapse of more families.

3. Consequently following the closure of Camp Ashraf, and separation of more than 90 percent of dissident members, the cult leader will face numerous problems and ultimately a cul-de-sac.

The US and EU countries that support MKO Cult looking for a decision to make for future of the cult, can make their mind within the deadline Iraqi government has assigned for MKO expulsion. The American plan is actually a solution to preserve the cult of Rajavi that Nejat families do not approve.

Either the act of Iraqi forces was aimed to set up a new station or to put pressure on the cult leaders to leave Iraq, MKO/MEK/PMOI leaders should take the responsibility of the incidents..Families neither confirm nor deny the number of killed members published by the cult but they ask Iraqi government to remove labyrinth of bars in Camp Ashraf in order to make the cult leaders engaged in providing the residents the chance to visit their families ..

The clashes between Iraqi security forces and Camp Ashraf residents on Friday April8, can be<img hspace="10"height="100"align="right"width="125"vspace="10"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/Nejat/Nejat_EL_Ss.jpg"alt="Nejat Society Announcement on Camp Ashraf Clashes"/> analyzed from several points of view. Either the act of Iraqi forces was aimed to set up a new station or to put pressure on the cult leaders to leave Iraq, MKO leaders should take the responsibility of the incidents because:

1.	The opposition of Iraqi people and government against MKO presence in their territory is legal and reasonable regarding the MKO’s influential and active role in the massacre of Iraqi Kurds and Shiites in Saddam’s era.

2.	Considering the fact that Ashraf residents are neither considered political refugees nor forth Geneva Convention applies to them, their presence in Iraq is definitely illegitimate.

3.	Having morphed into a destructive cult, MKO is no more a political-military organization and Camp Ashraf has become one of its basic principles. Like many other cults, the camp is the container that keeps the cult members in and deprives them from all their basic human rights.

On April8th before dawn, forcing two members to commit suicide, MKO leaders make two hundred of the Camp residents attack Iraqi forces with iron hook and rocks in order to pave the way for the presence of American forces in the Camp.

Outside the gates of Camp Ashraf, families of Ashraf residents are picketing waiting for their children who are not allowed by the cult leaders to visit their parents. These families are eager to see their loved ones rather than getting the news of their death or injury.

Unfortunately, the cult leaders do not care about people’s rights or freedom. They force some of the cult members to involve in clashes and some others who do not obey the cult leaders’ slang are made scapegoats in bloody clashes. This way, dissident members are eliminated.

Families neither confirm nor deny the number of killed members published by the cult but they ask Iraqi government to remove labyrinth of bars in Camp Ashraf in order to make the cult leaders engaged in providing the residents the chance to visit their families and choose their own fate whether they want to leave or they stay in the cult.

In a letter to al-Maleki, the Nejat Society hailed the brave decision of Iraqi government in opening the gates of Ashraf Camp to the public.

It said the premier’s move gave the opportunity to the families of those, who had been imprisoned in the camp by the terrorist MKO ringleaders, to see the place their loved ones were kept after six years of waiting.

Nejat NGO further asked the prime minister to separate the ringleaders from members to give the residents of the camp the chance to make decisions for their own future.

It also urged the Iraqi government to keep up with efforts to clarify the situation of their loved ones.
<img hspace="10"alt="Describing the members of the terrorist organization, who are living in the camp, as people, who have been deceived and misled by the MKO ringleaders, Nejat Society urged the Iraqi government to arrest and try the terrorist MKO top leaders"vspace="10"align="right"src="https://st.nejatngo.org/Image/MEK/Ashraf_Iraq/Ashraf_Iraqi_Police_16.jpg"/>Describing the members of the terrorist organization, who are living in the camp, as people, who have been deceived and misled by the MKO ringleaders, Nejat Society urged the Iraqi government to arrest and try the terrorist MKO top leaders.

The letter further stressed that the families of the deceived MKO members were ready to travel to Iraq to assist the Iraqi government in persuading the Ashraf Camp members to detach themselves from the MKO’s terrorist ringleaders.

Copies of the letter have been sent to Iraq Embassy in Tehran, the International Committee of Red Cross’s (ICRC) representative office in Tehran, the UN representative office in Tehran, and Swiss Embassy in Tehran, which serves as the US interest section in Iran.

A group of family members of Camp Ashraf residents, at Nejat Society office in Ahwaz, attended a gathering held by NejatNGO on Friday May 8th,2009. They issued a statement addressing Mr. Nouri Al Maliki, Iraqi Prime Minister,

The Honorable Prime Minister,
As families of MKO members, we have been deprived of visiting our beloved children who have been taken as hostages in Camp Ashraf for years. We use the opportunity to ask your Excellency to provide us with a situation that we would be able to visit our captured children who are barred by MKO which violates all international human rights conventions.

The anti-democratic cult of Rajavi, with its inhuman nature is known to you and Iraqi nation since it has committed crimes against the innocent Iraqi people in Northern and Southern Iraq under the rule of Saddam Hussein dictatorship. During the past years, MKO leaders have always prevented us from visiting our children and our efforts have not succeeded yet.

1. We present our request to your Excellency appreciating the position Iraqi government has taken against MKO and its efforts to expel MKO terrorist group out of Iraq.
Our request is based on the followings:

2. We want to visit our captured children as soon as possible in order to learn about their health conditions.
Regarding that Iraqi government is now holding the control over Camp Ashraf, we ask you to facilitate our trip to Iraq and our visit with our children.

3. We ask the Iraqi Government and Red Cross to help us make phone or letter communications with our captured beloveds.

4. We ask the Iraqi government to arrange a facility outside Camp Ashraf so that we can visit our children without the presence and supervision of MKO officials and far from fear and chantage.

The statement of National Council of Resistance the front organization of PMOI issued an announcement on Act.6th 2008, considering the will of Iraqi nation to take the control of the base of terrorist cult of Rajavi, as a lie claiming it to be a plot against MKO. NCRI secretariat noted that Nejat Society forces the families to travel to Iraq and ask for the release of their children from Camp Ashraf.

It’s obvious that all the activities and the presence of the families at Nejat Society are aimed to the release of their children from Camp Ashraf and the efforts and interactions have terrified the destructive cult of Rajavi. The families, who wait for the freedom of their children and the removal of Camp Ashraf, accepted the risk of the threat posed by the jailers of cult.

Masud Rajavi the leader of the destructive MKO cult must know that a large number of families have registered in the offices of Nejat ngo all over the country to travel to Iraq as soon as possible to provide the facilities for the rescue of their children from terrorist cult of Rajavi.

A large number of the families’ letters have been mailed to the offices of International Committee of Red Cross and Iraqi Embassy in Tehran and the Iraqi government.

The Nejat Society and families are well aware that MKO had tied its life with Saddam’s dictatorship analytically and strategically. After the fall of Saddam Hussein and the lack of the dictator’s support for MEK, everyday you are witnessing the decline of the cult and the breakdown of the internal relations in it. The presence of a terrorist organization with the background of massacre of Iraqi Kurds in the North and Iraqi Shiites in the South and a disastrous file of cooperation with Saddam Hussein ended with the approval of the No.214 ruling by Iraqi government.

The undeniable decision of Iraqi government terrified the cult so seriously that it tries hard to lobby some uninformed or self-interested parties in the West, spending large amounts of money to gather signatures or approval against Iraqi ruling.

The declining condition of MKO actually led the parents to be concerned about their children’s life and the occurence of a human disaster against the deceived members of the cult.

Nejat Society believes in the right for the mentally and physically captured individuals of Camp Ashraf to ask the ICRC and the Refugee Affairs Commission to provide the condition to choose either a third country or Iran to live a normal life.

According to the reports the mental and physical condition of the victims in Camp of terrorist cult of Rajavi is so crucial. They need emergency help of RC in the Camp and the necessary treatments for the patient members who are in the hospitals outside the Camp.

The execution of the rulings of Iraqi government and the release of beloved ones of the cult’s prison, are the request of the majority of the residents of Camp Ashraf .
