Samad Eskandari wrote a letter to Bledar Çuçi, the text of which is as follows:

Excellency, Mr. Bledar (Bledi) Çuçi
Honorable Minister of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Albania

Greetings and respect
I am Samad Eskandari, the legal affairs officer of Nejat Society and the attorney of 250 former members of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, MKO, Rajavi Cult) who live in Iran. Each of the former members was trapped in this anti-human group for an average of 10 to 25 years under cultic suppression and brainwashing. We filed a complaint in the courts of Iran, and a final verdict was issued against the leaders of the Rajavi Cult.
Fortunately, with the overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship in Iraq and the creation of suitable conditions, we managed to escape from Ashraf Garrison in Iraq and also from Albania. Due to the presence in this group for many years, each of us is a living document and eyewitness to recount the crimes of the leaders of the MEK in the past decades in Iraq and Albania.

The ideological structure of the MEK is based on the use of deception, violence, murder, torture, elimination of opponents, controversy, etc., and unfortunately, each and every one of us during the years of being in the MEK, only because of the request for the right to communicate with the free world and family, marry and form a family, and the most basic human rights, were subjected to torture, humiliation, and imprisonment by Masoud and Maryam Rajavi. The negative mental and physical consequences have remained as a very bitter experience in the minds and bodies of the members. This surely cannot be refundable .The MEK in Iraq was complicit with Saddam Hussein in killing Kurdish citizens in the north and Shiites in the south of Iraq, and each one of us is an eyewitness to these bitter realities. This organization has also started imprisoning, torturing and killing its disaffected members. After the overthrow of Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship, the Iraqi government filed a criminal case in the Supreme Central Criminal Court of Iraq to deal with the criminals and war crimes of the MEK, and issued a warrant to arrest Masoud and Maryam Rajavi and a significant number of their key leaders for prosecution. In this regard, Mr. Mowafq al-Rabiei, the national security advisor of the Iraqi government at the time, openly admitted in the presence of domestic and foreign journalists that the MEK were deployed in Iraq by Saddam Hussein, contrary to the laws of that time, and they joined in the suppression of the Iraqi people’s uprising in 1991, and participated in the massacre of Kurds and Shiites. The documents of this case are available in the judicial system of Iraq, and I request you to inquire about this matter from the Iraqi judicial system in order to discover the truth. Among the wanted persons is Abdol Vahab Farjinejad Jahormi, who entered Albania under the fake name of Ali Mostashari and died in the events of June 20, 2023.

Massoud and Maryam Rajavi in Iraq have personally ordered the torture and killing of Qorban Ali Torabi, Parviz Ahmadi, Mehdi Eftekhari and a large number of their members just because of opposing Rajavi and criticizing his policies and working methods. A large number of discontented members of the MEK, such as Karim Pedram, Khodam Golmohammadi, Alan Mohammadi, Minou Fathali, Marjan Akbari, Mehri Mousavi, Homa Bashardoust, Marjan Akbarian, Masoume Ghaibipour, and many others were killed suspiciously.

Yaser Akbari Nasab, as a child soldier who was forcibly transferred from Europe to the MEK garrison in Iraq, due to the growing physical and mental pressure and Maryam Rajavi’s obstruction of his departure, in front of the astonished eyes of everyone in Ashraf, set himself on fire using gasoline and died painfully. These are just a few of the crimes of the MEK under the leadership of Masoud and Maryam Rajavi, and listing all similar examples is beyond the scope of this letter.
I, as the legal representative of Nejat Society and the attorney of the former members of the Rajavi Cult, filed a lawsuit against Masoud Rajavi’s agents, for crime against humanity, through the 55th branch of Tehran International Court, according to file class 9900473 and ruling number 9909970237601145, and the official and definitive ruling was issued in 39 pages according to the available documents, and then the judicial systems of Albania and France came to the knowledge that the leaders and a number of key elements and agents of torture and killing of the MEK have been legally convicted. The second version of the ruling along with the documents of the crimes of the MEK in hundreds of pages was handed over to Mr. Ahmed Karim Khan, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

(The letter sent by The Hague Court ICC)

You only witnessed a small part of the violent and inappropriate behavior of the leaders and operatives of the MEK on June 20 this year in Manëz. This is only a small part of the brutality of the MEK and beyond the law activities, and each one of us has bitter stories of this tragedy in our hearts, which will naturally become more apparent to the world if the nature of the MEK is heard.

Referring to the verdict issued by the Tehran International Court and as the attorney of the former members of the MEK, I will be proud to inform you about the true nature of this cult with the documents based on objective evidence in your country. After a little search and examining the past of the MEK in Iraq, you will realize that wherever they are in the world, they have brought nothing but chaos, division, anarchy and disorder to the host country.
The beautiful country of Albania has a strong affinity with Iran in terms of social, cultural, literary, historical and religious aspects. Those MEK members who separated from the MEK are organized in your country in the Association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA), along other former members in all parts of the world, are ready to appear in a court in Albania to testify against the MEK leaders for criminal acts.

In the end, I would like to make a request to your Excellency, and that is to deal with the situation of three Iranian asylum seekers who are members of ASILA in the Karrc camp, who after years of living in Albania and having wives, are now in captivity for many months without any explanation, which causes deep concerns of their families. I request that Mehdi Soleimani, Hassan Shahbaz, and Gholamreza Shekari be released as soon as possible. I would also like to draw your attention to the case of Mr. Bijan Pouladrag. I am not aware of his case, but I know that he had just left the MEK after so many years and was completely ignorant of the rules and regulations of the free world. My suggestion is that according to the existing conditions and as a humanitarian measure for his worried family who had not heard from him for years, you can pardon him.
Regards
Samad Eskandari,
Legal affairs officer of Nejat Society

Legal deputy of former members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) published an open letter to the Albanian authorities. Samad Eskandari, former member of the MEK and the representative of the group defectors in Iran’s judiciary system, asked for the release of six detained members of the Association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA).

Eskandari suggests that these 6 people have been detained by the Albanian immigration Police as a result of a false flag operation launched by the MEK. He states, “the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama has violated his political and social prestige at the cost of complicity with the devil Maryam Rajavi”.

According to Eskandari, who endured the oppressive ruling of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi in long years of membership in their cult, the history of the group and his own experience are evidences to prove that “the notorious and criminal MEK cult has no legitimacy among the Iranian public opinion and thus being a collaborator in the MEK’s bloody accord will bear no fruit for the Albanian authorities except disaster and destruction”.

He refers to the MEK’s siding with Iraqi former dictator Saddam Hussein. “For over three decades, Saddam Hussein was hand in hand with Massoud Rajavi,” he writes. “Their alliance led to the killing of a large number of dissident members of the group in Camp Ashraf, Iraq. Saddam would imprison and torture those members of the MEK who opposed Massoud Rajavi and wanted to leave his cult”.Criticizing the policies of the Albanian government to imprison members of ASILA, Eskandari warns the Albanian Prime Minister to learn lessons from the fate of Saddam Hussein.

Hassan Heirani, Gholamreza Shekari, Ali Hajari, Mehdi Soleimani, Hassan Shahbaz and Ehsan Bidi have been detained by the Albanian immigration and border department for over 5 weeks without being accused of any crime.

Mr. Samad Eskandari, on behalf of the plaintiffs against the leaders of the MEK in Iran, sent a letter to the Swedish Ambassador in Tehran.

The text of the letter is as follows:

Honorable Ambassador of Sweden in Tehran

Greetings and Regards,
Sweden is known around the world for its calm, quiet, shy, outspoken and law-abiding people. In Scandinavian culture and tradition, there are two concepts, La Gomo and Law of Jante (Janteloven). In Swedish culture, there is no public discussion or expression of anger. You seldom hear a Swede shout at someone on the street. The loudest sound you hear from a Swede in public is when he is still a baby. In Swedish culture and tradition, avoiding conflict and compromise is considered a positive and intelligent behavior. Swedes speak quietly and often prefer to be good listeners. Seeking rights and paying attention to human rights issues is a good and humane act that is naturally considered by the people of the world.

Now let me introduce myself after this prologue. I am Samad Eskandari from Zanjan province in Iran. Unfortunately, I spent 20 of the best years of my life in the detention camps of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, MKO) in Iraq, led by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, in deplorable conditions.

Unfortunately, your country’s judicial system is now, at the request of this organization, dealing with the issue of human rights violations against a person identified as Hamid Nouri for a crime against humanity. First of all, I said that the investigation of crimes against humanity is a good and God-pleasing thing, provided that justice is properly and fully established and observed.

I need to explain that I decided to send a letter to Your Excellency just for a human desire, regardless of any political or ideological affiliation, and for justice. The MEK and its repressive agents, who in the current situation have filed lawsuits in the court of your country as plaintiffs and witnesses and claim human rights violations and crimes against humanity, directly and personally participated in murder, torture, imprisonment, humiliation, genocide, the Inquisition is involved, including in my case, and their hands are covered in the blood of many dissatisfied members of the MEK, including Ghorban-Ali Torabi, Parviz Ahmadi, Nasser Mohammadi, Alan Mohammadi, Yaser Akbari-Nasab, Marjan Akbarian, Homa Bashardoost, Marzieh Ali-Ahmadi, Minoo Fath-Ali, Masoumeh Gheibipour, Nasrin Ahmadi, Kamran Bayati, Farhad Tahmasebi, Ahmad Rezapour, Farman Shafa-Bin, Ahmad Razani, Shamsollah Golmohammadi, Zahra Feizbakhsh, Mehri Mousavi, Khodam Golmohammadi, Kamal Mousavi, Davood Ahmadi, Hojjat Azizi, Hamzeh Heydari, Elias Karami, Jafar Kohzad Manesh, Jalil Bozorgmehr, Karim Pedram, Mohammad-Reza Baba-Khanlou, etc. Heads of MEK are tainted and are in fact criminals who today are trying to deceive the judicial minds of your country to cover up their crimes.

I am honored to be the legal representative of more than 250 former members of this organization, all of whom managed to escape, for genocide and crimes against humanity against the leaders of this organization and the key elements who were responsible for these crimes. 39 pages of the sentence issued against the MEK By the nature of what I have described, they have been sentenced to pay compensation through Branch 55 of the Tehran International Court, and the sentence has been finalized.

Addressing the human rights issues of your country’s judicial system, as the representative of the plaintiffs against the leaders of the MEK, drew my attention to two important issues:

1- The leaders of the MEK along with a large number of repressive elements of this group committed crimes against humanity, and according to the final verdict of the International Court of Tehran, the esteemed judicial officials and the Prime Minister of your country should arrange a court for me and all plaintiffs so that our lawsuit can be heard in the presence of the litigants, taking into account the verdict that was approved.
2- According to the judicial laws governing the territory of countries, such as the plaintiffs and witnesses of the current case in your country, who committed a crime against humanity and are responsible for it, cannot enter into this matter in the form of a plaintiff or witness, or file a lawsuit.

Your Excellency
The leaders of the MEK have committed many crimes against members of their group, which are abundantly witnessed in European countries. As the legal representative of the plaintiffs in Iran, I request Your Excellency to accept the documents and verdicts issued and a number of witnesses and plaintiffs in the case against the MEK, and to submit our arguments and verdicts to the esteemed Prime Minister and judicial officials of your country.
Please do not let the rich and beautiful culture of your good country, which is spoken in general and special, under the pressure and lobbying of the MEK, a bitter memory in the minds of the people of the world and the people of Iran, especially us rescued members of the MEK.

I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you at your first convenient time.
Peace be upon humanity and peace be upon justice

Sincerely yours,
Samad Eskandari
Representative of the plaintiffs against the leaders of the MEK

Your Excellency,

I have a great responsibility as the representative of the plaintiffs of the MEK leaders’ case and it is my human duty to be the voice of all those who were tortured by the leaders of the Mojahedin.
I decided to send you some photos that show just a part of the sufferings of the separated members and other families of the prisoners in Rajavi Prison that were imposed on the victims by the Mojahedin. We hope that by seeing the pictures that show the cruelty of Maryam Rajavi, you sympathize with the families and survivors of the group and make justice practical. Undoubtedly, God Almighty will watch over our actions.

Former member of the Mujahedin Khalq (MEK) announces his readiness to challenge the leaders of the group in a debate.
Samad Eskandari, former member of the MEK, from Zanjan Iran is the representative of the 42 former members of the group who filed a judicial complaint against the leaders of the MEK. He was interviewed by Fathallah Eskandari the responsible of Nejat Society in Zanjan Province, on October 16th, 2021.

In the interview that was conducted in Persian, the atrocities of leaders of the MEK against their own members and the recent campaign has been launched against the group leaders, was discussed.

Samad Eskandari, former member of the MEK

Eskandari presented a brief report on the judiciary process that led to the reference of the verdict issued by the national court of Iran to the international court of The Hague. As the representative of the plaintiffs of the dossier, Eskandari also wrote a letter to Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. “I offered certain examples of human rights violations committed by leaders of the Cult of Rajavi in the letter,” he said. “Particularly, I pointed out forced celibacy for the members who are captives in the group. I also stated the prohibition of contacting family, torture, brainwashing and Inquisition as examples of human rights abuse committed by the MEK authorities.”

Asked about the mental and physical traumas that he endured in the Cult of Rajavi, Samad Eskandari answered, “Unfortunately, it is too difficult for me even to recall such things. I spent 20 years of my life in the hellish Cult of Rajavi…I just point out a few of their atrocities. You yourself (Fathollah Eskandari) were shot in the hand three times under the order of Massoud Rajavi. They ordered to kill, torture and shoot members…I witnessed how they treated members. Their conduct was pure instance of crime against humanity…They intentionally banned marriage in the group under different pretexts. Rajavi forced married members to divorce their spouses and he separated their children from them. This is an example of genocide. Genocide is not only killing people but also it can be preventing people from marrying and having children.”

Recounting his memoirs of living in Camp Ashraf, Iraq, Eskandari notified that expressing dissent against the MEK leaders is responded by the most horrific punishments. “If a person had expressed his opposing opinion against the group, he would have been jailed in iron containers in solitary confinement, for three weeks,” he recounted. “Then they would give him a pen and paper to write down an apology letter to Rajavi and to confess that he had cheated on the group. He had to ask Rajavi to forgive him.”
About the current situation of members of the MEK in Albania, he said, “They are under the most severe supervision structure… Gender segregation is very critical in the cult of Rajavi. Female members are under severe pressure to hide themselves from male members. They do not have the right to meet a man. This is the reactionary ideology of MEK leaders.”

Samad Eskandari have been in contact with a large number of families whose beloved ones are taken as hostages in the MEK. “I have visited a lot of families,” he said. “They all support the lawsuit against the leaders of the MEK. Some of them even wanted to be registered as the plaintiffs.”

The MEK has bases in certain European countries such as France and Albania. Asked about the fate of the group in these countries, Eskandari told: “Maryam Rajavi and her disappeared husband Massoud claim that they support human rights and democracy for Iranian people in the European countries! As they made false promises in Iraq, today they claim to support human rights in front of the journalists and their cameras, in Europe. Thus, the verdict of the national Iranian court has been sent to the judiciary system of those countries in particular Albania and France. This will change the view of people of those countries regarding the Cult of Rajavi. People will surely question the MEK leaders for what they have done against their own members. Their gestures for democracy and human rights will be disregarded by illuminated free-minded people.”

He asked the people of Albanian and France to stop the MEK from tainting the legacy of human rights and freedom in their territories.
At the end of the interview, Eskandari invited the leaders of the MEK to participate a debate in an unbiased country and before the cameras of independent TV channels. “We will defend our rights and they can defend their rights. And then, we will see what behind the scene is and who will win the debate,” he said.
