Shirdel, the father of the two misplaced sons, traveled to Iraq to visit his sons in camp Ashraf but he was not allowed to visit them by the group authorities. \u201cBetween 2008 to 2015, we traveled to Iraq over ten times but they did not permit us to meet our sons even for one minute,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13122 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Ahmadian-Shirdel.jpg\" alt=\"Shirdel Ahmadian Chashmi\" width=\"786\" height=\"507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Ahmadian-Shirdel.jpg 786w, https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Ahmadian-Shirdel-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Ahmadian-Shirdel-768x495.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Shirdel wrote letters to Iraqi authorities including Iraqi human rights minister. After the group\u2019s relocation in Albania, he continued sending letters to the International human rights bodies and the Albanian authorities.<br \/>\nThe MEK\u2019s cult-like structure bans Saeed and Hadi from contacting their families outside the group. \u201cI am sure that my sons would leave the group, if they were allowed to meet us,\u201d their father says. \u201cThey are brainwashed there.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hadi and Saeed are the sons of Shirdel Ahmadian Chashmi.
