{"id":1695,"date":"2008-02-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-02-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/2008\/02\/10\/the-statement-issued-by-mko-defectors-on-mohammadi-family\/"},"modified":"2021-10-02T09:59:05","modified_gmt":"2021-10-02T06:29:05","slug":"the-statement-issued-by-mko-defectors-on-mohammadi-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/posts\/1695","title":{"rendered":"The statement issued by MKO defectors on Mohammadi Family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We, named below, believing in the freedom of speech and tolerance, withdrawing the present actions and believes of people and politicians, without any political interest, focusing on humanity and our previous cooperation with MKO and regarding our personal experiences with MKO, declare that:\u00a0 A: gradually after the residence in Iraq, criticizing the leaders (Masud and Maryam Rajavi) and their policies became impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Following the long residence in Iraq, insisting on one\u2019s interests, opinions and critics were considered as anti-revolutionary action and were oppressed seriously.\u00a0 \u00a0B: they organizationally encounter the private talks where the Mujahed friends were giving opinions within the organization. Every member had to submit a written report to his responsible, on the details of his talks. In the organization control and scrutinize of opinion were considered as normal and revolutionary. C: MKO\u2019s leader consider the emotional contacts of family members as an obstacle to the policies of the organization and to the fall of Islamic regime and tries to weaken such contacts in any way. D: there is no possibility to access and transfer news, newpaper, T.V \u2026 freely, inside the MKO in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>Any news was canalyzed by the organization and it wasn\u2019t possible to access the free world. According to the mentioned experiences, the position taken by Somayeh Mohammadi who has declared that she has \u201cchosen living in Camp Ashraf on her own will\u2019\u2019 clearly opposes our personal experiences.\u00a0 While we respect everyone\u2019s right including Somayeh\u2019s right to choose her place of residence freely according to UN human rights charter, we ask MKO\u2019s leadership to publish any document that they have, on Mostafa and Mahboubeh Mohamamdi\u2019s link to Islamic Republic , so as to inform Iranian people.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise they should allow Somayeh who according to her father, mother and brother was taken to Ashraf when she was under legal age and now is under the psychological pressure and the news absolutism, to be transferred out of Ashraf to decide independently.\u00a0 UN human Rights Charter, article 12 : No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks. We demand MKO\u2019s leadership and Islamic Republic regime that\u00a0 A: they respect international laws on women, children and civilians and execute them\u00a0 B: they respect UN Human Rights Charter. UN Human Rights Charter<\/p>\n<p>Article 3.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.<\/p>\n<p>Article 4.<\/p>\n<p>No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.<\/p>\n<p>Article 5.<\/p>\n<p>No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.<\/p>\n<p>Article 9.<\/p>\n<p>No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.<\/p>\n<p>Article 13.<\/p>\n<p>(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state<\/p>\n<p>Article 16.<\/p>\n<p>(1) Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.<\/p>\n<p>(3) The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.<\/p>\n<p>Article 19.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.<\/p>\n<p>Article 20.<\/p>\n<p>(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association.<\/p>\n<p>(2) No one may be compelled to belong to an association<\/p>\n<p>February 1st, 2008 1.
