Tehran – December – 2008 –<\/span>The 15th International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies in Tehran <\/span>was open to the public from November 16 to 22.<\/span> <\/span>Some 470 Iranian publications and news agencies as well as media organizations from 27 foreign countries attended the event.<\/p>\n

\"Nejat<\/o_p><\/span> <\/p>\n

Nejat Society also attended the fair introducing its English and Persian publications. Nejat members who were present had numerous meetings and interviews with Iranian as well as foreign journalists from the Egyptian newspaper Alahram, the American Boston Glob and Le Figaro from France, and also the reporters from Iraq, Germany, China and … . <\/span><\/p>\n

\"<\/p>\n

The responsible of Nejat Society introduced the Society’s objectives presenting photos, brochures and publications to the visitors. They emphasized that their main goal is to help families contact their beloved ones who are captured in cult-like camp Ashraf in Iraq. <\/p>\n

A lot of Iranian and foreign journalists and also the ordinary visitors welcomed the humanitarian objectives of Nejat Society appreciating its efforts and hoping success for it. They wanted to know how to aid the Society. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

They were so eager to get information on the situation of the mentally and physically captured ones in Camp Ashraf. Most of the visitors included the students, intellectuals who had a little information on MKO. They were complaining of the lack of information on the functions of MKO in the mass media. The followings are some examples of their opinions: <\/p>\n

– An elderly citizen said:” I distributed Mujahed journal when I was a high school student. After sometime I got to know about their real nature due to my parents guide then I left them. I am happy that there was some one to lead me at that time but some were captured and ended with being Saddam’s accomplice.” <\/p>\n

– A young woman said that she has heard of MKO via internet and satellite but she always feels that they mustn’t be Iranians because their speaking culture is so different from ours. “It is so strange and unfamiliar”. <\/p>\n

– An army officer said:”No Iranian in any case accepts cooperation with the offensive enemy. I have always considered them as traitors but I didn’t know that they even have no pity for their own members and torture and imprison them. <\/p>\n

– A very old man came and got to know Nejat Society. At first he argued that when the enemy writes, he can write anything. But after he listened to Nejat members’ explanations he had a different idea criticizing why the nature of MKO is not shown to the people of Iran completely. <\/p>\n

– An elderly woman said that when she was abroad, the MKO used too much effort to recruit her but she has always felt that although MKO supporters are honest but no honesty is seen in its leaders’ words and now she has understood that her feeling was definitely right. <\/p>\n

– Two young girls who had no information on MKO asked a lot of questions on the cult and at last they suggested holding a seminar on this issue, with the presence of the members of Nejat Society, in their faculty. <\/p>\n

Three people were looking attentively at a poster of self-immolation in Paris. One was explaining the story for the two others. They were so shocked and declared their hatred towards such an act done by the cult leaders to order the members to burn themselves. <\/p>\n
