Iran’s Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi says the Mujahedeen Khalq Organization (MKO) terrorist group is at the end of the road and has nowhere to stay any longer.<\/p>\n
“The MKO members should know their days are numbered, and they have nowhere to stay anymore,” Moslehi was quoted by the IRIB as saying on the sidelines of a ceremony in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Saturday.<\/p>\n
He made the remark in response to a question by a reporter who had asked him about the expulsion of the MKO members from Camp Ashraf in Iraq and the possibility that some countries may offer to host them.<\/p>\n
“The United States and its allies are supporting them (MKO members), but MKO members should know they have nowhere to stay any longer,” the Iranian intelligence chief underscored.<\/p>\n
The Iraq-based group is listed as a terrorist organization by much of the international community and has carried out numerous acts of terror and violence against Iranian civilians and government officials.<\/p>\n
The MKO is also known to have cooperated with executed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
