{"id":5754,"date":"2014-06-29T13:52:15","date_gmt":"2014-06-29T13:52:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/2014\/06\/29\/france-condemns-anti-iran-mko-terrorists\/"},"modified":"2021-01-22T01:09:23","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T21:39:23","slug":"france-condemns-anti-iran-mko-terrorists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nejatngo.org\/en\/posts\/5754","title":{"rendered":"France condemns anti-Iran MKO terrorists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The French Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) for its acts of violence.<a href=\"https:\/\/st.nejatngo.org\/media\/Report\/Press_TV\/PressTV_France_condemns_MKO.wmv\"><img style=\"margin: 10px; float: right; width: 270px; height: 215px;\"src=\"https:\/\/st.nejatngo.org\/Image\/TV\/Press_TV\/Romain_Nadal_L.jpg\"alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal criticized the MKO for \u201cits violent and non-democratic inspirations,\u201d its \u201ccult nature,\u201d and its \u201cintense campaign of influence and disinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paris also warned about the growing lobbying and disinformation campaign being conducted by the MKO.<\/p>\n<p>France hosted the MKO for many years until the European Union declared it a terrorist organization which eventually forced Paris to ban the group.<\/p>\n<p>However, the EU removed the MKO from its list of terrorist organizations in 2009 after the group filed a petition against the blacklisting in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The MKO fled Iran in 1986 for Iraq, where it received the backing of Iraq\u2019s executed dictator Saddam Hussein and set up a camp near the Iranian border.
