In an interview with London-based newspaper Al-Hayat, Iraqi General Hassan Shati pointed to clashes in Dyala province for getting the control of this province and said: "Some groups and individuals that try to affect the political process in Iraq have close ties with the Mojahedin-e Khalq organization. These people disrupt the order of Dyala and the police forces of the region struggle for their lives."<\/p>\n
Abdulvahed Ta’meh, Al-Hayat’s correspondent, has prepared a comprehensive report about the province; he has also interviewed the officials and people on the reasons of instability in this province.<\/p>\n
Part of this report says:<\/p>\n
"This region is located 110 Km from Iranian borders and the camp of Mojahedin-e Khalq is placed in Khalis in this province. During Saddam era, MKO used this region to attack Iranian cities."<\/p>\n
