Meetings between the members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization aka PMOI/MEK and their families should take place without the supervision of the leaders who are fearful of their separation from the group; the Iraqi Minister of Human Rights Wijdan Mikhail Salim said on Tuesday..After the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, the MKO members showed an increasing willingness to leave the group, prompting the leaders to impose limitations on the family visits which they believed played a major role in its members’ leaving Camp Ashraf in Iraq.

One week or ten days after their departure, my brother Manuchehr Kattar who lives in Holland contacted them and offered them a chance to go to some place to learn the language first and then move to Holland to join their uncle. But contrary to his promises they ended up in Camp Ashraf the base of the MKO in Iraq, a place which is quite hard to leave.
