Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

Israeli agents training Mojahedin Khalq terrorists in Jordan

Israel is training members of the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Jordan along the border with Saudi Arabia in order to carry out acts of terror inside Iran and neighboring Iraq, Press TV has learnt.

According to sources, who declined to be named, the MKO terrorists are undergoing training on how to conduct terrorist operations in Iran and Iraq and receiving technical as well as information technology (IT) training from Israeli agents.

This is the first time it is revealed that anti-Iran MKO terrorists are being trained in Jordan along the border with Saudi Arabia.

Earlier reports had revealed that radical extremists are receiving terror training in Jordan before being sent into Syria and Iraq to carry out bomb attacks and join the ranks of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front, ISIL Takfiri militants and other terrorist groups operating inside both violence-plagued Arab countries.

The MKO fled to Iraq in 1986, where it enjoyed the support of Iraq’s executed dictator Saddam Hussein, and set up its camp near the Iranian border.

The group is also known to have cooperated with Saddam Hussein in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and carrying out the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

The MKO has carried out numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials.

Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist attacks since the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, 12,000 have fallen victim to the acts of terror carried out by the MKO.

Massoud Rajavi

Rajavi tortures Camp Liberty residents in Iraq by denying family contact

Mr. Haider al-Abadi, the Prime Minister of Iraq

Dear Sir,

With regards, the work of Sahar Family Foundation is to campaign for and support the families of individuals trapped in the Mojahedin Khalq Organization’s (MKO) Iraqi base, Camp Liberty, in their efforts to gain contact with and access to their loved ones.

Over a period of thirty years the MKO leader, Massoud Rajavi, has used his power as a cult leader to coerce his followers into breaking off all contact with their families unless they were willing to join the organization, pay money, or otherwise help the group.

Even since the group was disarmed and contained in one base, protected by American then Iraqi soldiers, the MKO leader still refuses to allow families to have normal contact. Even letters and phone calls are forbidden for the residents, most of whom are over the age of fifty-five, and many of whom are sick and ailing.

Massoud Rajavi understands that familial love is stronger than the coercive control he imposes on the members and that once families have re-established contact there is a strong likelihood that the member will leave him. As a cult leader he calls families ‘poison’ with good reason, though with little finesse.

It is in this context that we can examine an article published by the MKO website, Iran Focus, on November 28, 2014 which claims that “Iran plots to torture Camp Liberty refugees in Iraq”.

http://www.iranfocus.com/en/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=29937:iran-plots-to-torture-camp-liberty-refugees-in-iraq&catid=7&Itemid=112 The Iran Focus article claims: “In October, Tehran sent several well-known regime agents, including Ebrahim Khodabandeh, to meet the regime’s ambassador in Baghdad to pave the way for the offensive against Camp Liberty residents.”

The article comes after Ebrahim Khodabandeh met with Iraqi and international officials as well as the Iranian Ambassador in October on behalf of Sahar Family Foundation in order to promote the families’ efforts to find peaceful and effective solutions for removing the residents of Camp Liberty from Iraq as required by law. Khodabandeh had been a member of the MKO’s ‘International Relations’ department for 23 years before leaving the group. He now heads the families’ campaign to visit their loved ones inside Camp Liberty. This basic right is still denied by Rajavi in spite of pressure from the ICRC and UN as well as Iraq’s human rights ministry.

http://www.saharngo.com/en/story/1479

Massoud Rajavi’s extreme sensitivity to the presence of families outside the camp perimeter can be easily explained. Most residents who manage to escape the cult or who are transferred by the UNHCR to third countries prefer to establish contact with and return to their families rather than maintain membership of the MKO. The extreme threat which Rajavi feels from these ordinary families to the control he has over his cult members is therefore expressed in equally extreme terms, calling it “torture”.

Sahar Family Foundation believes that the denial of family contact must of course be extremely painful for the residents. But it is Rajavi who is solely responsible for this situation. It is he who, in his own words, is torturing the residents.

Reporting on his visit, Sahar website wrote, “Khodabandeh warned Iraqi officials of the threat Camp Liberty residents are exposed to. He emphasized the need to take serious action in order to prevent a human catastrophe in Camp Liberty where no one is responsible except Massoud Rajavi the leader of the MKO cult.”

Past experience shows that Rajavi, as any other destructive mind control cult leader, is frightened to death of allowing his followers to visit their families, and he is now trying to accuse everyone, including officials of the UN and ICRC as well as Ebrahim Khodabandeh, of plotting against him and his cult.

We wish to remind you and the government of Iraq and the International bodies working with Camp Liberty that a family visit is a fundamental right for the residents under international law and under no pretext, including those invented by Rajavi, should this right continue to be denied.

Regards

Sahar Family Foundation

Human Rights Abuse in the MEK

Solidarity with women residing in the MKO camps

November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women which hits its 15th anniversary this year. Violence against Women (VAW) is a grave violation of human rights but its notion has always been abused and misused by the leaders of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO).

The impact of women’s rights abuse ranges from immediate to long-term multiple physical, sexual, and mental abuses, including death. It negatively affects women’s general well-being and prevents women from fully participating in society. Violence not only has negative impacts on the victims but also on their families, the community and the country at large. As a result of these abuses, women are facing grave consequences in the MKO.

Based on the testimonies of former female members of the group, women in the MKO camps every day experience a large range of violence including forced marriage, forced divorce, mandatory celibacy, forced sterilization, sexual slavery and forced labor.

Violence against women which is carried out in the MKO is covered under the guise of feminism. Women in the MKO are called “heroines” and “examples of progressive women” but in reality, they are taken as hostages in a modern slavery system.

Despite the severe situation of women in the MKO, the group launches a huge propaganda against Islamic Republic on what it calls violence against women. Acid attacks in Isfahan, Iran gave the group a new pretext to accuse the Iranian government of violating women’s rights. Although I condemn acid attacks on my country fellow women under any circumstance, I should mention that the record of abusive cases in the MKO by its leader against the group members, particularly female members, is much more severe than the eight cases of acid attacks in Isfahan.

Nasrin Ebrahimi is a former member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization, who fled the group in 2006. She was one of the first survivors of the Cult-like MKO who dared to reveal the corruption of the leaders of the group. She was the first person to speak of the “Ideal Summit Operation” which was a cult jargon through which a large number of female members of the group became infertile by Hysterectomy. [1]

Batoul Soltani, who was a Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) member for 20 years and was promoted to the rank of the leadership council of the terrorist organization, told Press TV that individuals in the Mojahedin-e Khalq cult should reach what the organization sees as a peak by cutting all their links with the outside world. [2]

Women in the MKO who allegedly reach the “Ideal Summit” by removing their wombs and becoming infertile were since then nominated to get raped by the leader Massoud Rajavi.  Former leadership and board member of the MKO, Mrs. Zahra Mir Baqeri, confirmed that 95 women were exposed to the process of hysterectomy and being raped by order of Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi. Mir Baqeri proposes a list which includes the names of 95 of the female members of the MKO who went through hysterectomy under various pretexts and deceptive excuses. [3]

The most detailed report on VAW committed in the MKO, “Comrades in Arms” was broadcast by Press TV. The documentary discloses how harshly Massoud Rajavi abuses women who were “Looking for a brighter future” so that they “ended up in Camp Ashraf, where a fate worse than death awaited them.”[4]

Testimonies of the three women interviewed in this documentary indicates that love, marital life and having children is forbidden for everyone living in the group. Moreover, all women should think of Massoud Rajavi as their husband. Nasrin Ebrahimi tells Press TV, “Maryam Rajavi used to hold many meetings for us, very long meetings. She would hold many meetings especially for women. She said, “We women all have only one husband who is Masoud Rajavi.” She even said, “You have the most handsome and the best man in the world. So what’s wrong with you?”[5]

Vocal revealer of Rajavi’s sexual corruption Batoul Soltani describes how women were manipulated to sleep with Massoud. Although she could not believe his eyes she was one of the victims of rape by the leader. She says in the film:’ “I could never imagine that her words would be put into practice someday and I would have to sleep with Massoud. I really thought that it was merely an ideological discourse. As for Maryam Rajavi herself, I couldn’t imagine that Massoud had sexual relationship with her. I couldn’t imagine it.”[6]

Compared with acid attack against a few women–which is deplorable and not acceptable at all— and executions in Iran, cases of VAWs carried out in the community of 900 women in the MKO are very crucial. The MKO propaganda on the alleged women rights abuses in Iran is used as a cover up for the massive violation of women rights in their own small cult-like community.

Massoud Rajavi

Presence of families outside camp liberty is torture for residents, says Rajavi

There are signs that Massoud Rajavi is beginning to panic about losing control of the residents of Camp Liberty. Plans made by the UN to remove these former MEK members from Iraq are accelerating, with 233 residents recently transferred to Albania despite Rajavi’s attempts to prevent the move. Shortly after this, Rajavi threatened to kill anyone who speaks publicly about what goes on inside the camp.

The announcement below, published by his site Iran Focus, is another indication that the imminent disintegration of Camp Liberty has sent Rajavi into a panic. His attempt to present genuine families, mostly elderly mothers and fathers or middle aged siblings of Camp Liberty residents, as “hired agents” (a claim easily disproved with a few checks), is not the real issue. The idea, however, that residents of the camp can be psychologically tortured by the presence of families – real or imagined – outside the camp’s perimeter is an indication of both their fragile state and Rajavi’s madness.

Following is the announcement of Massoud Rajavi through their site Iran Focus:

Iran plots to torture Camp Liberty refugees in Iraq

Iran is to send undercover agents to Camp Liberty disguised as family members of Iranian opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin Organization (PMOI/MEK), in a smear campaign against the dissidents in Iraq, according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

The regime has tasked the Nejat Association, a branch of Ministry of Intelligence and Security, to dispatch agents to the camp in Iraq, the group said based on the information obtained from inside Iran.

In October, Tehran sent several well-known regime agents, including Ebrahim Khodabandeh, to meet the regime;s ambassador in Baghdad to pave the way for the offensive against Camp Liberty residents.

Reports published on MOIS websites on November 22 revealed that Iran’s embassy in Iraq had pledged to use all its resources in its drive to make contact with ‘captive members of the Rajavi sect[..]

Iran Interlink Weekly Digest

Iran Interlink Weekly Digest – 74

++ Many people have reacted to Massoud Rajavi’s audio tape in which he threatens to kill his critics. In sum they point to three main issues.

1. When Rajavi talks like this, which he has done before, it shows his desperation, and this is due to opening the gates of Camp Liberty.

2. For the attention of those advocates who say they are not a terrorist group, Rajavi clearly says in this tape that the MEK has killed and will kill people in Europe.

3. It is emphasised that any attack on people in Europe cannot be blamed on the head of a terrorist cult. It is the responsibility of the police and security services in the Western countries where these attacks take place. In particular France, which hosts the MEK, where many violent attacks take place. But no country can absolve itself of responsibility.

++ Iran Ghalam (Iranian Pen), interviewed Mohammad Hossein Sobhani about the threatening audio tape. Sobhani made the above points but goes into great detail about Rajavi’s personal history and the conclusions that can be drawn. He says that while Rajavi uses terrorism to push his way, the critics and former members will use the media to expose him and the law to bring him personally to justice. Sobhani lists the murders that Rajavi was personally responsible for during the time of the Shah, and then describes what Rajavi did in prison, how he plotted and schemed against his fellow prisoners. After the Revolution Rajavi took to killing people and blaming others. Sobhani talks about Abu Ghraib, and the regime of silencing internal critics, as well as Rajavi’s collaboration with the Israelis and Mossad. Sobhani lists the people that Rajavi tried to get rid of, like former President Abol Hassan Bani Sadr, and the character assassination of many others. Sobhani concludes that from the first day to this day, Rajavi had no other job except killing people he saw as rivals. He has never faced a direct enemy, only targeting his political and social rivals – including friends and family – who are named in the article. Sobhani says that Rajavi was, and is, main obstacle to progress toward democracy in Iran; the best gift to the hardliners of Iran.

++ A second group of Camp Liberty residents have arrived in Albania taking the total this time to 233. According to the Iraqis and other sources in Albania, about 50 were so ill they were taken straight to hospital in Tirana. Another 50 are well known internal critics who didn’t want to stay with the MEK and who have been under pressure for a long time. These will soon separate from the MEK. People in Albania who recognise some of the new arrivals have made the names of 24 of them public. Other names will be made public in due course. Rajavi’s internal critics in the West are asking why Rajavi is so afraid of being made public, and ask why, if there is a valid reason, their families are not informed privately.

++ The MEK’s presence to protest the Vienna nuclear negotiation drew ridicule from inside Iran. A reporter with Jahan News simply published pictures of the MEK demo in Vienna, in which some three or four people are shown with around twenty flags planted in the ground. Another reporter writes: During my work I came across an Israeli man who was going about his business in the buildings. He asked me “Are you Iranian?” When I replied in the affirmative, he said “I am a Zionist, and I believe that you and Iran are my enemy, and I am sure you feel the same toward me. But having said that, as a patriotic Israeli I can’t stand the sight of these MEK people. Even as a mercenary force willing to act for us, we shouldn’t degrade ourselves by association with them.” Another Iranian newspaper article is titled, ‘The master accepts, but the servant is still shouting”. This refers to Maryam Rajavi’s pronouncements in favour of Israel and her complaint ‘why is war not an option?’ The paper translated her Western speeches into Farsi.

In English:

++ An Open Letter by Iran Ghalam (Iranian Pen Club) to major international bodies warns against Massoud Rajavi’s audio tape in which he threatens to kill his critics in Europe. The letter also explains that Rajavi doesn’t want to protect the lives of people in Camp Liberty in spite of the threat of ISIS in Iraq, and calls on international humanitarian bodies to do more to help the residents.

++ Reporting on the nuclear negotiations, Fars News writes that Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan “underlined that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has come to realize that the allegations raised by enemies and the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as MEK, PMOI and NCRI) against Tehran’s nuclear program have all been fake and wrong.” Dehqan continued, “It wasn’t the sanctions which pushed us to the negotiating table; rather we just wanted to prove that we don’t want anything but our rights, and that the westerners are bullying… The Islamic Republic also displayed to the world (through these talks) that its red lines cannot be threatened at all.”

++ Open Letter of 60 ex members of MEK to the Members of the European Parliament.

“The leaders of the MEK do not cooperate in any shape or form with the UNCHR and/or other UN bodies in charge of the transfer and resettling these Iranians from camp Liberty to other counties. The announcement of solidarity by a number of MEPs with the residents of camp Liberty and asking for assurance regarding their security and safety will have no effect in helping these individuals. On the contrary it only encourages the leaders of the Mojahedin Khalq more to try to keep them in Iraq and evade any cooperation with the UNHCR.

“No one is safe and no one has security in the current situation of war torn Iraq and as you are aware hundreds of people in Iraq get killed and/or injured on daily basis through bombings and similar atrocities in various parts of the country. Even the employees of the UN who were stationed near camp Liberty to carry out interviews and meetings with the individual members of the MEK have left their place due to the dangerous situation of the area – close to the airport – and the threat of ISIS.

“The leaders of the MEK emphasise only the need for protection and security for these Iranians in the camp and never promote or even mention the need to transfer them out of Iraq. Above that, the leadership of the MEK by demanding the transfer of the whole organisation (and not individuals) has put in place demands which in practice make it impossible to transfer people according to the laws and regulations of the UNCHR.”

Open Letter of 60 MEK ex-members to the Members of the EP

President European Parliament,

Ladies and Gentlemen, Members of the European Parliament,

In this situation of chaos and instability in Iraq, in a situation where ISIS is committing horrifying crimes on daily basis, the lives of 2700 of our friends who have effectively been taken hostage by the leaders of the Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, PMOI) in transit camp Liberty in Iraq (near Baghdad airport) are in serious danger.

The leaders of the MEK do not cooperate in any shape or form with the UNCHR and/or other UN bodies in charge of the transfer and resettling these Iranians from camp Liberty to other counties.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

No one is safe and no one has security in the current situation of war torn Iraq and as you are aware hundreds of people in Iraq get killed and/or injured on daily basis through bombings and similar atrocities in various parts of the country. Even the employees of the UN who were stationed near camp Liberty to carry out interviews and meetings with the individual members of the MEK have left their place due to the dangerous situation of the area – close to the airport – and the threat of ISIS.

The leaders of the MEK emphasise only the need for protection and security for these Iranians in the camp and never promote or even mention the need to transfer them out of Iraq. Above that, the leadership of the MEK by demanding the transfer of the whole organisation (and not individuals) has put in place demands which in practice make it impossible to transfer people according to the laws and regulations of the UNCHR.

American Republican* Senator John McCain on October 22 this year sent a letter to US Secretary of State John Kerry saying: “Many fear that the people at Camp Liberty could be at grave risk if the security situation in Iraq and especially in Baghdad continues to deteriorate.” He asks Secretary Kerry “Administration must move more quickly to find safe, permanent, and secure locations for Camp Liberty residents outside Iraq.”

(*Link http://www.mccain.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/letters?ID=6a1052ba-1b81-48fa-bbc8-7cbc9121eff5  )

Dear MEPs,

We, some of the ex-members of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation ask you and especially the ones who are members of the “Friends of a Free Iran” committee in the European Parliament to investigate the aims of the leadership of the Mojahedin Khalq in this publicity stunt and investigate the true desire of this organisation for keeping these people in this situation in Iraq and ask them why? We urge you to ask the leaders of the MEK and we urge you to ask your governments in the name of humanity and human rights to cooperate to take these people out of Iraq before it is too late and before a catastrophe has taken place during these dangerous days of war and instability in Iraq. Nearly a third of these people have already been refugees in European and North American countries who have been taken by the leadership of MEK to Iraq over 25 years ago with deception, manipulation and brainwashing.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please take Senator McCain’s warning seriously as he warns us that the lives of 2700 refugees in Iraq are in danger. Ask your governments to listen to the repeated advice and requests of the United Nations and UNHCR and UNAMI to accept these people in your countries. This acceptance would certainly force the leaders of Mojahedin Khalq to stop the deception and hindering and continuing to keep these people in Iraq using every possible means and all its resources.

Thanking you in advance for all your efforts in this respect and with the hope that this humanitarian action will save people before it is too late.

Fake Nature of Enemies, MKO’s Allegations against Iran Realized by IAEA

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has come to realize that the allegations raised by enemies and the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as MEK, PMOI and NCRI) against Tehran’s nuclear program have all been fake and wrong.

“Today, the IAEA has come to this conclusion that all the information that our enemies and Monafeqin (hypocrites as the MKO members are called in Iran) provided to them are unfounded and whatever they have stated have all been fabricated accusations since we proved that whatever presented by them are false and fake,” Dehqan said, addressing a gathering of Basij (volunteer) forces in Tehran on Monday.

He referred to the talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) the last day of which was held in Vienna today, and said, “It wasn’t the sanctions which pushed us to the negotiating table; rather we just wanted to prove that we don’t want anything but our rights, and that the westerners are bullying.”

“The Islamic Republic also displayed to the world (through these talks) that its redlines cannot be threatened at all,” Dehqan said.

His remarks came as informed sources in Vienna, where the nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers ended less than an hour ago, said that the two sides have agreed on extending the deadline for negotiations by July.

Informed sources told FNA that the Geneva agreement inked by Iran and the G5+1 in November 24 would be extended once more.

Sources said the talks have been extended until July 10, and the world powers have taken up to release $700 million of Iran’s frozen assets on a monthly basis.

The foreign ministers of the G5+1 are expected to declare the issue in a statement in hours.

The 10th and last round of negotiations between Iran and six world powers were held in Vienna.

In July, Tehran and the six countries agreed to extend negotiations until November 24 after they failed to reach an agreement on a number of key issues.

Massoud Rajavi

Massoud Rajavi orders the killing of dissident members. Why?

Why Masoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi don’t want to protect the lives of CL residents from the threats of ISIS.

Open letter of Iranian Pen club also warns against the threats of Masoud Rajavi to kill the dissident members.

Open letter of Iranian Pen club to international bodies about residence of Camp Liberty in Iraq.

Iranian Pen club ( Kanon Iran Galam) consists of dissident senior ex-members of PMOI with more than 20 years of history with the PMOI whom are now Human rights activists and pursuing to save the lives of the rest of the members entangled in Camp Liberty.

As ISIS is advancing in Iraq, committing crime against humanity in the towns and villages especially against women and children. It has also been reported that ISIS is now near Baghdad and Camp Liberty, which pauses great danger towards the lives of its residents.

Leaders of the PMOI, Masoud and Maryam Rajavi, very well know the seriousness of the threat but not only take no action to save the residents of Camp Liberty, but insist on keeping them in the Camp.

Qua, last week Masoud Rajavi in a voice message to the residents of Camp Liberty which was also reported on PMOI’s media and can be reached via internet, having threatened to kill the dissident members, ordered the Camp Liberty residents that they must stay in there to the last man. Why?

There are many reasons why Masoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi don’t want to protect the lives of their members from the threats of ISIS. Even the Republican Senator John McCain who is a known lobby of the PMOI also mentioned in his Oct 22, 2014 message to the Secretary John Kerry: “As you are aware, due to the increasingly dangerous threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the resettlement process has stalled, and many fear that the people at Camp Liberty could be at grave risk if the security situation in Iraq, and especially in Baghdad, continues to deteriorate.”. But PMOI not only keeps the residents in total black out concerning the news of the threatening situation of Iraq and Camp Liberty, but also deceitfully talks about the ISIS as the revolutionary tribes of Iraq which are fighting to overthrow the Iraqi Government, and at the rule of the ISIS, PMOI can be armed again.

Therefore, with regards to the grave security situation in Iraq and especially threats to the lives of the Camp Liberty residents, Kannon Iran Galam appeal to all the international bodies and the Human Rights Organizations to take steps to save the lives of residents of this camp.

Iranian Pen club also warns against the threats of Masoud Rajavi to kill the dissident members and would hold PMOI responsible for any terrorist threats against its dissident ex-members around the world and in Iraq.

We urge the International bodies to put pressure on the PMOI leadership to stop obstructing and impeding the process of displacement of the residents of Camp Liberty to a third country and cooperate with the UN organizations and UNHCR.

With all due respect

115 Liberty residents fly to Albania

115 members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization who resided in Camp Liberty, Iraq flied to Tirana, Albania.

The government of Albania that had received 210 MKO members last year, accepted to receive another 210 individuals under the request of the US government.

Albania had previously provided residential facilities to receive them but the MKO leaders impeded the relocation process under various pretexts.

The selected individuals were supposed to fly to Tirana on November 7th but the MKO officials obstructed the flight a few hours before. Finally, 115 individuals flied to Tirana on November 11th.

55 people of the relocated group are elderlies who suffer severe diseases and 60 other individuals include commandants and high-ranking officials of the MKO.

The MKO tried hard to relocate its high-ranking officials who are under arrest warrant by the Government of Iraq.

It is worth to notify that the MKO did not relocate those Liberty residents whose families have been closely seeking their release from the Cult of Rajavi such as Hossein Moradi, Alireza ,Kobra and Akram Mirbagheri, Amir Arsalan Hassan Zadeh.

Further news on the relocation process will be reported as soon as possible.

Human Rights Abuse in the MEK

Rajavi hindered the process of TTL residents’ transfer again!

According to Iran Interlink’s sources in Iraq, 120 residents of Camp Liberty were due to be transferred to Tirana, Albania last week. This was cancelled because the MEK leader changed his mind again. The residence in Tirana has been ready for months.

At first Rajavi wouldn’t allow access to anyone in Liberty. Then he granted access only if he chose the 120 transferees himself. The UNHCR accepted this on the understanding that 120 transfers are better than none. The interviews went ahead only for Rajavi to halt the process again because he wants more concessions.

From the time this plan was achieved by UNAMI, Rajavi has demanded various things: heavy machinery, more land, unrestricted access to the border (with Jordan), etc. Through the Zionist backed Western media and MEK outlets, Rajavi has hidden these demands behind allegations that “Iraqi officials” are denying medical help, restricting fuel and have confiscated lift trucks.

This is not a new ploy and both UNAMI and the Iraqi authorities have consistently and publicly rejected these allegations.
