Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

Predicting the Game Results

A. What’s the players think of?

 1. The White House, looking at terrorist MKO, understands this group’s efforts to copy and conduct the theories of Neo-cons and Israelis, confirms that- as announced by Pentagonists- the members of this group can be used as devotees for US soldiers in any possible attack to Iran.

2. Nuri al-Maliki, facing the request of 5 Congressmen to grant refugee status to the gang of Rajavi, realizes how unaware they are of US policies says to himself “if someone is supposed to give them refugee status, they should tell their president to free Rajavi from prison.” If Maliki finds no reason to take stance against the MKO, detention of Rajavi and American officials’ plan to extradite him to Iran can be good reason for him to claim that no country benefits from giving refuge to the MKO.

3. Al-Mashhadani is not surprised that 11 tribesmen have threatened the Iraqi government and he possibly links it to the genetic characteristics of the tribe, which- like Saddam- is known to have reactionary policies and respects no laws. Meanwhile, he’s sure he will be able to deal with these 11 tribesmen at the right time by relying on an agreement made with the representatives of tribesmen on fighting terrorism.

4. By overturning the above facts, one can get to the ideas of the remnants of Rajavi.

B. Game Results

 1. For Americans, the terrorist gang of Rajavi is only a tool that will be used at the right time.

2. Iraqi is determined to remove terrorist groups from this country. Considering the desire of Iranian and American officials for cracking down on Rajavi’s band, the Iraqi government will surely receive advantages.

3. Saddam supporters and democratic tribesmen! will overtake Nuri Al-Maliki and Hakim for dealing on the MKO. The recent comments of 11 tribesmen on the MKO are only supposed to raise the price and nothing else!

4. The stupid gang of Rajavi is doing its best quietly in order not be dismantled suddenly. All its efforts also only boost the regional power of the Iranian regime. These propagandistic efforts will only lead to the total desperation of US officials and the signs of an American deal with nuclear Iran are visible. In addition, these efforts show that there’s no support for the MKO inside Iran and that Iranians want this group dismantled.

Canadian Parliamentary Secretary asked to apologize for supporting MKO

According to cnews.canoe, Canadian Liberals accused Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s parliamentary secretary of hypocrisy after reports released that he had attended a rally organized by Iranian supporters of a banned terrorist group.

Jason Kenney’s picture appeared on the website of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, the political wing of the PMOI, or People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran. Kenney is shown addressing an April 6 rally in front of the Canadian Parliament and is quoted as welcoming participants "on his own behalf as well as the prime minister." In an interview, Kenney said he was "completely unaware of the context as it is presented here, even though we had done our due dilligence."

He said he did not know the rally, a small crowd of about 30 people, was in support of PMOI prisoners.

"I told them I would pass by if I could. And I was running up to the Hill, I just literally grabbed a megaphone and said that the Canadian people would stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in their wish for respect for human dignity and human rights and democracy, and these were universal aspirations that all people in every country deserve to have respected, and you know, our government will stand for those universal values.

Liberal MP Denis Coderre called on Kenney to apologize for the event and to denounce the terrorist group saying; "A terrorist group is a terrorist group so I’m expecting Jason Kenney, who likes to play politics and who’s as subtle as Barney Rubble in politics, he should do better than that."

The report also states that PMOI is one of the names used by the MEK, or Mujaheedin-e-Khalq, an armed Iranian rebel group formally designated as a terrorist organization by the governments of Canada, the United States and the European Union. The Canadian government put the group on its official terror list in May 2005.

MKO Claims Rejected

Following the strong comments of Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, the head of Iraqi parliament, on the illegal presence of terrorist MKO in Iraq, in order to boost the morale of its members, the MKO propaganda system tried to link debates on Mr. Mashhadani’s removal from office to his comments on the MKO; in this regard, they reflected false quotes from the members of Iraq’s Accord Front, including Mr. Adnan Al-Dulaimi.

However, Mr. Dulaimi stressed the support of Accord Front for Mr. Mashhadani and denounced fake claims of the gang of Rajavi:

"Iraqi Accord Front announced the end of political crisis on the removal of Mr. Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani from leadership of Parliament, after he signed cooperation pact with Syrian parliament without consulting Iraqi parliament in his recent visit to Damascus. Adnan Al-Dulaimi, the head of Iraqi Accord Front, said in a press conference that they had made contact with other political and parliamentarian fractions to end the crisis. Al-Dualimi added that after rejecting the proposal of the President and the Prime Minister to remove Mashhadani from office, Iraqi Accord Front announces that Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani will remain in his position as the head of the parliament."*

Mojahedin expulsion from Iraq is underway

"MKO’s expulsion from Iraq is underway," said Iraqi ambassador to Iran, Mohammed Majid Al-Sheikh in an interview with Mehr News.

Following a meeting with the secretary general of Habilian Association in Mashhad Seyed Javad Hasheminejad, Mr. Sheikh talked to Mehr News and said:

"The scheduled plan of the government to restrict the terrorist MKO and expel its elements from Iraq shows the faithfulness of the government to its promises on fighting terrorism."

Brian Binley

Partners of MKO’s Crimes

The websites of terrorist group of MKO have quoted UK MP Brian Binley saying:

"We asked Jack Straw only two months ago to de-proscribe the NCRI and the answer was a definite ‘no’. He said they were a terrorist organization. I then asked if he could point to one incident when the National Council or the MeK harmed Western interests, and he could not give me an answer, he could not point out even one incident. And indeed I believe there aren’t any."

The major question for Mr. Binley is that "should we say a group is a terrorist group only if it has damaged the western interests?"

And more importantly: "What’s Mr. Binley’s idea about the figures and statistics of MKO terrorist operations inside Iran, provided by this group itself?"

Mr. Binley and people like him either have entered the scene of politics and the issue of Iran very late (that’s not true) or intentionally want to insist on UK’s dictatorial policy of interfering in Iran’s internal affairs! These policies only deprive Iranians from their basic rights.

According to MKO’s own documents and confessions, this group has conducted more than 12000 successful assassinations, 1000 operations, several border operations jointly with Saddam forces, several cases of torture and killing and … what’s this if it’s not terrorism?

For Mr. Binley’s, and other MKO partners’, information, we should remind that Iranian people didn’t wait for colonialists and toppled the puppet regime on February 11, 1979.

If you are seeking the repetition of history, you’re only showing your flawed understanding although this is the financial gifts of a terrorist group that shows its function in the stances of MKO’s partners and associates.

Mujahedin Khalq as an Opposition Group

Mojahedin must accept defeat or declare war on Iraqi government

In response to Iraqi officials and their comments against the MKO, remnants of Rajavi’s gang have dispatched their lawyers to the scene to fight the decision of Iraqi government (on the expulsion of this group).

Following the comments of Iraqi ambassador to Iran Majid Al-Sheikh (on the MKO), Marc Henzelin who introduces himself as the legal advisor of MKO members in Camp Ashraf, in a threatening letter to Mr. Sheikh, has asked him to withdraw his comments otherwise he will be sued in international courts on war crime charges!

That the terrorist MKO has decided to create a threatening situation weeks after the comments of Iraqi PM and other officials (including Iraqi ambassador to Iran) on the expulsion of this group is a result of two factors:

1. Disarray in MKO leadership following the comments of Mr. Nuri Al-Maliki: it took weeks for MKO leaders to come to an agreement on current move (threatening Iraqi officials).

2. Political nature of Henzelin’s position is basically invalid from legal viewpoint; it’s rather a propagandistic effort by the gang of Rajavi to create fear among Iraqi officials otherwise it should have been expressed right at the time the comments of Mr. Maliki and Mr. Zebari on the MKO were announced.  Apart from this, one could expect the terrorist MKO’s war against the Iraqi government to start soon over the occupation of part of Iraqi soil.

There’s no ambiguous point in this. Occupiers have transferred power to Iraq’s legal government and decision making on MKO should be done by the Iraqi government. It has announced its determination to expel the MKO from Iraq and this means not granting the group with political asylum and it has no sign of forced transfer of members.

Therefore, both occupiers (who have granted the forth Geneva convention status to MKO members) and Red Cross (that should control the observation of this convention) have not seen any violation of rules by Iraqi government, nor can they impose an illegal request on it. The time of taking advantage of the names of coalition forces, US army and international organization (used by MKO during past 3 years to justify their illegal presence in Iraq) has come to an end and the legal position of democratic Iraqi government (refused by MKO) is the main obstacle for MKO’s ambitions; they should either accept it or fight with it.

MKO leaders have decided to preserve restricted MKO members in Iraq at all cost. There’s no other option for this group and in any other case, this group that seeks war and crisis to survive will be destroyed; the only hope for this group is to be used by Neocons in a possible war on Iran and this requires staying in Iraq; this dream will never come true.

The treacherous gang of Rajavi in Europe, who are living in the best conditions and have seemingly escaped from Iraq conflict, insist on staying in Iraq at the cost of sacrificing all MKO members (with different methods including self-immolation, committing suicide in masses and …).

Apart from organizational destruction, MKO’s insistence has another reason: Massoud Rajavi’s detention that, in the case of execution of Iraqi government’s decision, will lead to his extradition and trial as a war criminal. And this means the historical destruction of a movement that solely relies on this guy.

So, we should expect more propagandistic moves by the gang of Rajavi against the Iraqi government. Iraqi government will certainly respond to these moves and such efforts only open the hands of government for broader reaction to MKO’s illegal presence in Iraq.
