“Despite there are numerous documents that prove Mujahedin e-khalq organization’s crimes against the people of Iraq, the Iraqi government has only agreed with expulsion of the group.” Said a member of Iraqi national alliance in a meeting with Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, Habilian Association’s Secretary General.

Jomeh Al-Otvani, a member of Iraqi national alliance pointed out MKO’s crimes against the Iranian and Iraqi nations and reiterated: “The MKO has just united the two Iranian and Iraqi nations by conducting these crimes. Thousands of Iraqi people have also been martyred by the MKO just like a lot of Iranians.”

Al-Otvani referred to Iraqi people’s view on the government’s measures against the terrorist group and said: “According to the constitution, the government tried to expel the group from the country. But people believe the government has had too much flexibility towards the cult’s members and that’s because it is satisfied with their expulsion only, despite there are many documents showing their crimes against people.

He also pointed out the USA’s ongoing pressures to keep the MKO in Iraq and said: “the government has tolerated a lot of pressures from the US regarding to the MKO’s expulsion. The United States aims to tense relations between the two Iraqi and Iranian nations by doing that.”

At the end of the meeting he predicted that the terrorist cult will be disintegrated by being expelled to the western countries and said: “Iraq is a member of the resistance movement and that’s impossible for the terrorist group to exist in such a country.”

Sadrist MP urges the expedition of MKO expulsion

An Iraqi Sadrist MP has urged the Iraq’s government to speed up the expulsion of Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK, a.k.a. MKO and PMOI) members from the Arab country.

Reiterating the impossibility of further presence of MKO terrorists in Iraq, the Iraqi parliamentarian said the return of the MKO members to Camp Ashraf is impossible, Habilian Association reported.

Al-Mansouri was quoted by Ashraf News as saying that the MKO terrorist group constitutes a threat to the Iraq’s security, adding, the only option for the group is their immediate expulsion from Iraq.

Hussein al-Mansouri also pointed out that some members of the MKO group are wanted by the police in connection with their crimes under Saddam Hussein.

The Iraqi officials have repeatedly emphasized that the members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq organization, armed and supported by the Iraqi executed dictator Saddam Hussein, pose a real threat to Iraq’s territorial integrity. Hence, the Iraqi government has signed an agreement with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and head of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) Martin Kobler to relocate the residents of Camp Ashraf to a temporary transit location where the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will start a process of refugee status determination, a necessary first step for their expulsion outside Iraq.

Survey: Only 5% of Iranian Americans support MKO

A recent survey of Iranian Americans found that only 5 percent support the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK and NCRI).

According to Habilian Association, the survey released late last week by the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA), reveals that only 5 percent of a total of 15 percent of Iranian Americans who support opposition groups or figures in Iran support MKO.

The results of this survey truly represent the lack of support for the terrorist MKO group among Iranian patriots who are aware of the MKO’s treasonable acts against the Iranian people and the government of Islamic Republic, including siding with the invader of Iran, Saddam Hussein, during the 1980s and killing and injuring thousands of Iranian innocent civilians.

The extremely long list of MKO’s treasons did not finish in the past decades, but they are actively engaged in anti-Iran struggles.

As Paul Sheldon Foote, Professor at California state university, put it in an interview with Habilian Association, terrorist MKO group is a useful tool for the Israelis “by promoting hatred of Iran, by telling lies about Iran, and by conducting terrorist operations in Iran.”

Rajavi abused women in the cult: Ex – member

In an interview on December 5, 2012, Zahra Mir Bagheri, former member of MKO’s leadership council, spoke of the tragic fate of women who were murdered in the terrorist Mujahedin e-Khalq organization.

She clearly named people who were involved in those murders and asked the international Human Rights communities to act against these tragic inner-cultish murders.

Revealing the misogynistic nature of Rajavi’s cult, she emphasized she had witnessed killing of women in the leadership council and blamed Massoud and Maryam Rajavi for the secret murders in the cult.

She said Rajavis had issued a death sentence on those women who had decided to escape the cult and after they were detained by Saddam’s security forces, the issued verdicts were executed in any possible ways. She named a number of victims and testified she had witnessed their killing.

Mir Bagheri had revealed the sexual assault on women in the cult before:

“We were called to Massoud by different excuses and we faced celebrations every time. There were no ideological discussions. It was all about Massoud, the ideological leader, and unique relations with him. We were given various gifts such as shower towels, underwear, perfumes and other things which we wouldn’t understand why they were given to us.

We were encouraged by higher ranking members in the council who had gone through all this before, to establish unique emotional connections to Massoud and speak with him romantically. It was always hard for us because we considered all this as an ideological connection.

We thought we couldn’t yet understand it. We thought we had to learn from higher ranking members who had completed these levels before us and that was how our brains were washed deeper. For instance, except those presents, some golden bracelets were also given to us. It was first a bracelet with a picture of Maryam on it. When we were receiving these gifts, Massoud used to touch our hands and that was the beginning. He sometimes joked about it or he would say “just like my own [wife].”

We wouldn’t understand what he was meaning by saying “just like my own” and we used to repeat it. If we had just paid a little more attention we would understand it. It was said before that Massoud and Maryam are not included in mandatory divorces. So we had to go through these levels just like Maryam.

The women in the second layer of leadership council were presented with another bracelet which had a picture of Massoud Rajavi on it. “

Zahra Mir Bagheri was forced to crawl combat-style over a kilometer for hours in the dark to escape Camp Ashraf. Her body was so lacerated and bleeding that the Iraqi soldiers who found her wept on seeing her injuries. She spent several weeks in hospital recovering from this ordeal. In addition she has had to undergo various operations in Germany.

Mukhtar Army lying in ambush for MKO

Blaming MKO for involvement in the recent political instability in Iraq, head of a newly established militant group in Iraq took responsibility for the February 9 mortar attack on Camp Liberty, which temporarily houses some 3000 members of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq organization.

According to Habilian Association, head of Mukhtar Army Wathiq al-Battat, in his interview with Al-Mada Press, did not rule out the possibility of further attacks on Camp Liberty, and underscored that they are in ambush for the terrorist MKO group until they leave Iraq.

Camp Liberty, formerly a US base which is now the temporary home for about 3000 MKO members, came under mortar attack on February 9, 2013, leaving a number of MKO members dead and injured.

From the very first hours, MKO started condemning Iran for carrying out the attack, but Iranian foreign ministry spokesman denied the allegations and said Iran has nothing to do with it.

In a separate interview with the Associated Press on Tuesday, al-Battat said, “It is time for the people of the MEK to leave Iraq. We have demanded that the government kick the group out of the country, but the Iraqi government did not respond positively to our demand” he said.

The Iraqi cleric said the MKO’s presence in Iraq poses a “big threat” to Iraq and the lives of Iraqi people.

Iraqi people would never tolerate the MKO

Iraqi professor: USA and a few Iraqi officials back the Mujahedin e-Khalq organization and try to keep the terrorist group in Iraq for a while.

Referring to the U.S. role in the region’s instabilities, Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad addressed the Iraqi people would never tolerate the MKO recent developments in the region and threats facing the nations in a friendly meeting with a delegation of Iraqi university Professors and scholars and said: “After the new Iraqi government came to power, the Americans found the developments in Iraq against their will and started to support and enhance terrorist groups to destroy the country’s security, they promoted the very same thing they had apparently came to fight.”

Habilian’s Secretary General added: “One of the most destructive terrorist groups in Iraq is Mujahedin e-Khalq organization. As though the group is acknowledged by the USA and other western countries as the sample of murder and crime and it is hated by Iraqi and Iranian nations since it has assassinated many innocent people in both countries, the United States is MEK’s most prominent supporter in Iraq.”

After Hasheminejad’s speech, Ali Abood Ne’emeh, a member of the Iraqi delegation, pointed out recent Islamic movements and said: “We believe the Islamic movements in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq,… wouldn’t have succeeded without Islamic Republic of Iran’s help and support and we have to thank you for this. We also appreciate our leaders who had a very impressive role in the movement of people.

Dr. Rashid Hussein, a university professor in Iraq, referred to the deep, ancient ties between Iran and Iraq and said:” Of course sometimes foreign factors cause problems for the ties between the two countries, but whenever these foreign factors are removed, the ties will be normal again.”

In another part of his speech he addressed the Imperial governments’ wickedness and stated: “The conspiracy of imperial governments is too obvious in the region and it has always existed. What is now happening in the Islamic Wakening countries is a good proof for this. These are due to foreign and imperial intervention.

Dr. Hussein added: “The Iraqi people don’t ever tolerate the MEK, but unfortunately some Iraqi officials and the United States back the group and want them to stay in Iraq for a while.”

He pointed out the American propaganda and said: “We know what the USA is seeking in the world. But unfortunately they are using their propaganda machines and false advertisement to claim they have come to Iraq for Human Rights. They can easily promote themselves since the media is at their disposal.”

At the end Dr.Rashid Hussein appreciated Habilian Association’s activities and included: “We are very happy to see NGOs are so active in Iran and hope we can use Iran’s experience in this field in our country. We are still at the beginning in Iraq. It is such a useful experience. Specifically about Habilian, it is so nice to support families of the people who have sacrificed themselves for your country. This would encourage Iranian people for further sacrifices in the future.”

US needs MKO to create tension in the region

Former top inspector of the Iraqi ministry of agriculture said the current troubles which oppressing powers like US needs MKO to create tension in the region the Zionist regime are creating for the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a new thing and they have tried this since the beginning of the revolution.

Mohsen Mousavi made the remarks during a meeting of a delegation of Iraqi officials, scholars and university professors with Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad Secretary General of Habilian Association in Mashhad.

Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad started the meeting with a brief on the recent developments in the region and awakening of the Islamic nations.

Referring to the colonial role of western governments during the past decades, he said: “Whenever the front opposing oppressive powers has been comprised of governments that enjoy little or no support from their people, the result has been nothing but a total failure for them. But, where the nations have confronted the colonizers, success has been achieved and the enemy heavily defeated.”

Mr.Hasheminejad pointed out the close and historic relationship between the two Iranian and Iraqi nations and expressed: “The two nations have long been in contact so the enemies have tried to separate them. But we can see although the ties between them had been practically cut for 40 years, the two nations welcomed each other after the fall of Saddam’s Ba’ath regime.”

Habilian SG also pointed out the western governments’ aim, specifically the U.S. government’s, to create separations between the nations in the region including Iran and Iraq and said: “The U.S. needs mercenary terrorist groups such as the Mujahedin e-Khaql organization. When the U.S Army occupied Iraq, it lacked the knowledge on Iraqi tribes and groups, so the MEK which had long stayed in Iraq, was used by the U.S Army for terrorist operations and training other terrorist groups.

Appreciating Habilian Secretary General for his beneficial details on terrorist MEK and U.S. colonial plans in the region, Seyyed Saber al-Hosseini, the head of Iraqi center for strategic studies, highlighted some activities of his center and said: “The center for Strategic Studies of Iraq has executed very good plans to reveal MEK’s crimes inside and outside Iraq. These activities include Satellite TV programs and brochures in Iraqi universities. Mobilizing people and rallying towards MEK camps has been another activity we have done several times during the past recent years.

He reiterated: “The terrorist MEK had a major role in suppression of the honorable Iranian nation and also the Iraqi nation at the Sha’abanieh Intifada as the Saddam’s striking arm. “

The Iraqi scholar referred to the problems on the way to expel the MEK and said: “You are aware the Iraqi administration is not all united and this is the reason of some problems created. Some people are after returning Iraq to the Saddam era.”

In another part of his speech, Saber al-Hosseini said: “We hope Habilian Association has a good connection to the institutes working in Iraq on terrorism. The two nations’ martyrs have had common goals which could be the interface between the nations. About 250 thousand of the Iraqi people were martyred by Saddam regime because they didn’t take part in the war against Iran. This shows Iraqi people were not willing for this war to take place.”

Mohsen Mousavi, former top investigator of Iraqi ministry of agriculture, pointed out the victory of Iranian Islamic revolution led by Imam Khomeini and the struggles in the beginning of the revolution which shed light on the nature of different groups and also the efforts from oppressing powers including the Zionist regime against Islamic Republic and said: “The current troubles these powers are creating for the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a new thing and they have tried this since the beginning of the revolution. What has changed, is the direct presence of U.S. and Israel in the region. The result of this presence is that we can see numerous terrorist groups supported by western powers.

Referring to MEK’s status in Iraq he said: “The MEK is all surrounded and its activities are watched. They can’t do anything in Iraq, but unfortunately there are other political movements and parties in Iraq which are after destabilizing the country with the support of the U.S. and Israel. Financial support of these groups is continuous and not limited. Unfortunately, this is harmful for some popular political groups that are seeking new fields of activity. These terrorist acts hinder their activities.”

Former top investigator of Iraqi ministry of agriculture described the ties between the two nations as inseparable and said: “Naturally, these terrorist groups’ activities are an effort to cut the ties between the Islamic republic of Iran and government of Iraq. The U.S. failure in Iraq has been one of the reasons for harsh economic blockade against the Islamic Republic. “

At the end, Mousavi said: “Number of people killed after Saddam’s fall in Iraq is way more than number of the people killed before and even during the Saddam era. We hope a certain framework is created between us. Not only for the MEK threat, but also for opposing any common threats the both nations are facing in the region.”

At the end of the meeting, Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad referred to the various aspects of MEK’s presence in the region and their destructive role and said: “Two issues must be addressed about the MEK. First of all they are still in the region and surrounded. But this is not all the problem. According to our Iraqi friends, there are several people in the Iraqi administration and Parliament who support them. Several Iraqi newspapers have taken money from them, so they also support the MEK. This is their destructive role. Unarmed MEK is far more dangerous than armed MEK.”

Hasheminejad continued: “The MEK is now seeking to destroy nations by highlighting their differences instead of just assassinating people. Anything leading to increment of tensions between the two countries is welcomed by them and this is the very destructive role of the MEK and one of the reasons why the U.S. is trying hard to keep them in Iraq. Another reason for the U.S. to try to keep the terrorist group in Iraq is to stop the MEK members from entering the United States. They are also well aware how dangerous these people can be.”

If forced, Iraq would extradite MKO members to Iran

Expressing disapprobation of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq group’s presence in Iraq, head of the Iraqi Iraqi MP: If forced, Iraq would extradite MKO members to Iran parliamentary committee on martyrs and political prisoners said that, if compelled, they would extradite MKO members to Iran.

“The United Nations should expedite the process of their expulsion from Iraq,” Muhammad al-Hindawi said, as quoted by FNA, Habilian Association reported.

“One day we may be forced to hand the MKO elements over to the government of Iran,” he said, adding that nobody in Iraq thinks about aggression against MKO members held in the country, but they have to leave Iraqi soil.

The Iraqi MP finally concluded that the government of Iraq is not responsible for the lives of these people, as it has not granted them political asylum.

Earlier this week, the temporary home of some 3000 MKO members came under mortar attack, leaving 6 dead and dozens injured.

In an e-mail sent to news media outlets in Iraq, the military wing of Hezbollah in Iraq, claimed responsibility for the attack and warned that others would follow, NY times reported.

Iraq to try MKO terrorists in absentia

Head of an Iraqi human rights group says Iraq seeks to try in absentia the members of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK and PMOI) in Iraq.

“The silence of the Iraqi government, international organizations, and the mass media regarding the martyrs and victims of Munafeqin (hypocrites, a term used in Iran and Iraq for the members of MKO) grouplet made us request the hearing in the absence of the Munafeqin,” head of the Association of Justice to Defend Iraqi Victims of MKO, Dr. Nafe al-Isa, told Habilian Association in an interview on Thursday.

He said the people of Tuz Khurmato, who are victims of the MKO and the trial is going to be held in their city, expressed happiness and satisfaction over the issue.

He added that the trial will be held as coordinated with the judicial system, and the witnesses will be heard in the first session.

Dr. Nafe al-Isa also called on Iranian media to cover the sessions, the first of which will be held on February 18, 2013.

MKO given new deadline to leave Camp Ashraf

Mujahedin-e Khalq organization is not complying quickly enough with the Iraq’s calls on the terrorist group to complete the move from its former military camp. So the Diyala provincial officials are giving the grouplet a new deadline to fully evacuate Camp Ashraf.
According to a report published by Habilian Association, a human rights NGO formed of the families of over 17000 Iranian terror victims, a responsible source in the town of Khalis, 50 km north of Baghdad where Camp Ashraf is located, said the officials have set the February 9, 2013, as the new deadline for MKO to withdraw all its members from the Camp Ashraf.
The source added that the Diyala Operations Command is responsible to inform the remaining elements of the MKO in this regard.
The relocation is in line with the memorandum of understanding signed on 25 December, 2011, between Iraq and United Nations to temporarily transfer members of the terrorist MKO group to a former U.S. military base near the Baghdad International Airport for the UNHCR to determine their refugee status.
So far, over 3100 of the group’s members have been transferred to their transient home in Camp Liberty. Although the Iraqi government’s patience is wearing thin and has repeatedly insisted the closure of the Camp Ashraf, about 100 of the MKO members, who were due to leave shortly, are still at the camp to “sell their property” in there.
