The cult-like substance of the MKO undermines any efforts by the group to get the gesture of a democratic alternative to Iranian government. Jeremia Goulka who is one of the co- authors of the RAND report on the MKO, suggests that the MEK vigorously denies that it is a cult, accusing critics of working for the Iranian regime or performing inadequate research.
Mehdi Abrishamchi is actually the ex-husband of the group’s alleged president elect Maryam Rajavi who divorced his wife to grant her to the leader of the cult Massoud Rajavi. Massoud married Maryam immediately after she separated from Abrishamchi.Once Abrishamchi became the MKO’s PR tribune under the misleading title”chairman of Peace Commission”, former members of the group reminded his true nature as a malicious official of”the Cult of Rajavi”.

Member of the U.S. House of Representatives Michelle Bachmann is another US high profile who runs both MKO and Israeli agenda in the Congress. Disappointed and frustrated, the mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO) has to keep a bitter silence after Iran and the P5+1 have ultimately reached an agreement. Despite the MKO’s large scale propaganda to create obstacle in negotiations neither international body nor any other government took the group seriously.
Regarding the MKO/MEK/PMOI, the world community seems sensible enough not to get trapped in such half truths which are no more reliable than the ones from Iraq, if anybody cares to remember the allegations about WMDs made by Ahmad Chalabi.The list of enemies of diplomacy with Islamic Republic includes Israel and Gulf States, the MKO, US based Israel lobby and Us Congress…
