UN chief Ban Ki-moon has dismissed a BBC report that he has sent a letter on the situation of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization /MKO/PMOI/MEK. ..The BBC had reported that Ban had voiced concern about the situation of some 3,500 MKO members, who live in Camp Ashraf in Iraq. The report said the UN chief has sent the letter to Iraq’s Foreign Minister on 15 October 2008.
Of the most inhuman practices carried out within the MKO/PMOI terrorist organization is the misuse of modern science to make women infertile…The former authority of camp Ashraf in Iraq, noted that some of the women even didn’t have an idea of the operation done on their body since they were told that the operations are done for curing their sickness. Soltani also mentioned the leaders of the Mujahedin cult concluded that the removal of sexual parts of the body is even physically necessary.
The US has granted citizenship to 16 leading members of the blacklisted Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), Iraqi security officials say…The deputy said, however, that the US had denied support for a certain number of MKO/ PMOI members in the Camp after accessing their records. He added that documents, including tapes of MKO espionage acts against the Iranian government, have been delivered from the camp to US military forces in Iraq.
Members of the notorious Mujahedin Khalq Organization have been arrested in France and Switzerland on charges of money laundering. Ten people close to the MKO / PMOI were in police custody on Monday on both sides of the border, Reuters reported without citing any sources.

US forces have relocated leading members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) after Iraqi authorities took control of their camp. Following a decision by the Iraqi government to take over the security of the MKO / PMOI headquarters, the US forces relocated selected members of the organization.
