Mujahedin Khalq Organization as a terrorist group

Video conference on “State Terrorism and the Black History of Mujahedin-e Khalq”

The specialized meeting of State Terrorism and the Black History of Mujahedin-e Khalq was held by Terror Spring foundation that seeks to introduce the real face of the terrorist group of the group. The video conference was hosted by Alirez Niknam.

Dr. Olsi Jazexhi, the Albanian historian and university professor from Malaysia spoke on the topic of state terrorism and supporters of the terrorist group of the MEK. He discussed the likely links between the MEK and the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad. Regarding the increasing defection of MEK members from the group after it was relocated in Albania, Dr. Jazexhi believes that the Albanian government including the Albanian Counter terrorism Police cooperate with the MEK to intimidate and harass the group’s defectors. According to the Albanian scholar the MEK has established a state with in a state.

Daniele Perra, the Italian journalist discussed the relationship between Iran and Italy and the terrorist activities of the MEK. Nuclear Scientists
Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

Iran politicians, scientists victims of west-backed terrorism

In the past four decades, Iran has been the biggest victim of terrorism in the world regarding the number of Iranian politicians and scientists who have fallen victim to the terrorism sponsored by the West and Zionists.

Following the 1979 victory of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Ayatollah Ruhullah Khomeini, the US, the Zionist regime, and the western-backed anti-Iran terrorist organizations plotted many conspiracies against Iran such as economic sanctions, Coup d’état, war, and assassinating of Iranian officials and scientific figures to undermine the growing power of the Islamic system.

In the last four decades, Americans, the Zionists, and the anti-Iran terrorists have spared no effort to damage the security of Iran and realize their devilish plans.

Since the 1979 revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has suffered a lot from terrorism, while the MKO has been spearheading the terrorism campaign against Iranian civilians and government officials.

As the biggest victim of terrorism, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been facing many terrorist tragedies such as the 1981 bombing Iranian Prime Minister’s office, the martyrdom of over 17000 civilians by terrorist groups, and the martyrdom of great nuclear scientists in recent years.

1981 bombing of presidency office:

1979-1982 have been the most bloody years for the newly-established Islamic Republic of Iran, regarding the number of assassinations of Iranian political figures, theorists, and clerics.

On August 29, 1981, the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) detonated a bomb at the office of Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar in Pasteur street in downtown Tehran, martyring senior Iranian officials including Prime Minister Bahonar, President Mohammad Ali Rajaei as well as some other officials including Tehran Police chief Hooshang Vahiddastjerdi who had a security meeting there.

The explosion destroyed the first floor. Due to their severe burns, the corpses were not easily identified. Rajaei and Bahonar were identified through their teeth. Subsequent investigations revealed that Kashmiri was an MKO operative, who had infiltrated the then-prime minister’s office disguised as a state security official.

This terrorist attack came nearly two months after another massive deadly bombing on 28 June 1981 known as the Haft-e Tir bombing at the headquarters of the Islamic Republic Party in Tehran which martyred more than seventy senior Iranian officials, including the Chief Justice of Iran Mohammad Beheshti. The MKO was blamed for the Haft-e Tir bombing as well.

August 29 is commemorated in Iran as the National Day of Fight Against Terrorism and the week ending on the anniversary of the bombing has been named Government Week in the Iranian calendar.

Rajaei Bahonar

Rajaei and Bahonar

MKO spearheading terrorism campaign against Iran:

The Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) is listed as a terrorist organization by much of the international community. After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the MKO began its hostility against Iran by killings over 17,000 Iranians and terrorist activities.

Its members fled Iran in 1986 for Iraq, where their heads Maryam Rajavi and Massoud Rajavi received support from the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

They fought alongside the Baathist army against their fellow Iranians and their agents carried out lots of assassinations against Iranian civilians and government officials throughout the 8-year of Iraqi-imposed war on Iran between 1980 and 1988.

In Saddam’s war against Iran, the MKO members provided Iraq with intelligence and even attacked Iran militarily with an army consisting of their members.

The Baathist regime of Saddam had provided them with a camp called Camp Ashraf in Diyala Province where they were trained and plotted terror attacks against both Iraqis and their fellow Iranians.

After the Saddam regime was toppled after the US invasion in 2003, the remaining MKO members faced massive anger from many Iraqis for their previous cooperation with the former Saddam regime so that their American and European backers had to relocate them to a new camp in Albania to use them as proxies in the future against the Islamic Republic.

Those members, who have managed to escape, have revealed MKO’s scandalous means of access to money, almost exclusively coming from Saudi Arabia.

MEK advocates

Paid advocacy for MEK terrorists

West safe heaven for MKO terrorists:

In 2012, the US State Department removed the MKO from its list of designated terrorist organizations under intense lobbying by groups associated with Saudi Arabia and other regimes adversarial to Iran.

Over recent years, the US and France have publicly shown their support for the MKO.

The MKO’s current head Maryam Rajavi, who had taken the lead over the organization after the suspicious unannounced death of her husband, has held meetings with high-ranking US officials including former National Security Advisor John Bolton and former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. They have also held gatherings in France with high-ranking US officials in attendance.

Several members of the terrorist group and its leaders are living in France now, freely conducting activities.

Its members are now freely operating and plotting against their homeland with the backing of governments of the western countries where they are residing in with the United States and France on the top.

Nuclear Scientists

Murdering Iran’s N. Scientist

Iranian scientists victims of ‘West-Sponsered Terrorism’:

After the victory of the Islamic revolution and especially in recent years, great Iranian nuclear scientists have fallen victim to state terrorism sponsored by the CIA and Mossad intelligence agencies.

Between 2010 and 2012, four Iranian nuclear scientists Masoud Alimohammadi, Majid Shahriari, Darioush Rezaeinejad, and Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan were brutally assassinated, while another Fereydoon Abbasi was wounded in an attempted murder.

On 27 November 2020, Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, an eminent Iranian scientist and the head of the Organization of Innovation and Research of the Ministry of Defence, was assassinated in the eastern suburb of Tehran.

The terrorists used sophisticated weapons and complicated methods to carry out the ambush on Dr. Fakhrizadeh’s escort convoy.

Netanyahou

The meticulousness and complexity of the attack clearly demonstrate that the agent of the Zionist regime was behind this terrorist act.

Iran: MKO must be branded as terrorist organization by European countries

Iran Embassy in Italy issued a statement on the anniversary of martyrdom of former Iranian president and former prime minister by MKO terrorists, and stressed that the EU must refrain from adopting double-standards and regard the MKO as a terrorist organization.

The embassy warned the EU officials that adopting such double standards and defending the MKO terrorists has seriously harmed the EU credibility as a continent that is opposed to terrorism.

In the statement which was published in a number of Italian publications, it is said that on August 30, 1981, in a shameful terrorist act against the Iranian nation and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, president Mohammad-Ali Rajaie and prime minister Mohammad-Javad Baonar were both martyred at the Presidential Office in a terrorist explosion by the MKO group, that had also earlier in a similar terrorist act on June 28 of the same year at the Office of the Islamic Republic Party tens of judiciary and party officials and lots of other innocent people were martyred.

Rajaei Bahonar

The late president Mohammad-Ali Rajaie and prime minister Mohammad-Javad Baonar

The embassy has noted that the MKO terrorist organization had also for a while been allied with the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussain, that had earlier launched an 8-year aggressive war against Iran, and fought against their own country relying on his logistical and military support.

“The human rights and democratic value should not serve as instruments at the service of shutting a blind eye on horrendous terrorist acts, and whitewashing the terrorists by free world governments, as democracy is not equal with the freedom of terrorists in the western countries,” added the statement in part.

It says that there is no such thing as good terrorism and bad terrorism, and if the EU notices that its reputation is harmed in the world, it is because of the contradiction is its defense of the terrorists and supporting them, which is contrary with democracy and the articles of the human rights.

The embassy ends its statement wishing long life for the historical Iran-Italy strong relations.

Rajavi and polpot
Massoud Rajavi

Why do they call Rajavi, Pol Pot of Iran?

About two decades ago when Elizabeth Rubin titled his article on the Mujahedin-e Khalq as “the Cult of Rajavi” and published it in the New York Times Magazine, she quoted the Iranian public opinion at the end of the article with a phrase that was actually warning and distressing: “the Rajavis, given the chance, would have been the Pol Pot of Iran.”

“Pol Pot of Iran” is also a title that Paul Sheldon Foote, the American university professor, has always used to address Massoud Rajavi, the disappeared leader of the MEK. “During the American hostage crisis, the MEK participated and called for the executions of the Americans,” he writes. “Rajavi is anti-American, anti-imperialist, and anti-capitalist. His aim is to become the Pol Pot of Iran, even if the MEK must become a tool of the American government to achieve his aim.”
Why such a comparison?

Rajavi and polpot

Raajvi; Polpot of Iran

Rajavi vs Pol Pot

Pol Pot is notoriously known as one of the most violent dictators in the world history. Pol Pot was a Cambodian revolutionary, dictator, and politician who ruled Cambodia as Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea between 1976 and 1979. During that time, an estimated 1.5 to 2 million Cambodians died of starvation, execution, disease or overwork. One detention center, S-21, was so notorious that only seven of the roughly 20,000 people imprisoned there are known to have survived.
Massoud Rajavi founded his cult of personality on the dead bodies of thousands of civilians who were killed by his bombing teams. The most horrific acts of his cult were the operations he launched against Iraqi Kurds and Shiites and Iranian soldiers in Forough Jbvidan.

S21 vs Eskan

Let us compare the Pol Pot era in Cambodia with the rule of Massoud Rajavi’s cult of personality in Camp Ashraf, Iraq during the 1980s and the 1990s.
Around one third of the rank and file of the MEK were accused of being agents of the Iranian government and so disloyal to the group’s cause. They were imprisoned, jailed in solitary confinement, tortured and even killed under torture just because they had asked to leave the group or had dared to criticize the leader. Ghorban Ali Torabi and Parviz Ahmadi are two of the MEK victims who were killed under torture by the organization that they had been serving for years.
A large number of former members of the group have testified about the tortures they endured in the prison of Camp Ashraf called Eskan. (The violence the MEK leaders committed against their own members should be considered together with the terrorist acts against the Iranian civilians and officials.)

Family life in the MEK and in Khmer Rouge

In 1988, Massoud Rajavi ordered members to divorce their spouses under the pretext that family life and sex life would distract the rank and file from their struggle against Iran. A year later, over 700 children of the Mujahedin were separated from their parents and were smuggled to European countries, under the order of Massoud Rajavi. About 300 of these children were later dispatched back to the MEK’s camp in Iraq in their teen years. They were recruited in the MEK’s army the so-called National Liberation Army. These child soldiers were given military uniforms, arms and military trainings in order to be prepared to invade Iran.
A decade earlier, you could see the same pattern of family life in Cambodia ruled by Khmer rouge. In order to enforce loyalty to the state, the Khmer Rouge broke peoples’ ties to religion and family. All political and civil rights were abolished. Formal education ceased and from January 1977, all children from age of eight were separated from their parents and placed in labour camps, which taught them that the state was their true parents. For the Khmer Rouge, children were central to the revolution as they believed they could be easily moulded, conditioned and indoctrinated. They could be taught to obey orders, become soldiers and kill enemies. Children were taught to believe that anyone not conforming to the Khmer laws were corrupt enemies.

Forced marriage before forced divorces

According to Pol Pot’s regulations, people were not allowed to choose their own marriage partners. They could not leave their given place of work or even select the clothes that they would wear. It should be noted that the Cult of Rajavi went further to force members to marry the ideological comrade that the group had selected for them before the later ruling of Massoud Rajavi that forced members to divorce and maintain a mandatory lifelong celibacy.
No one is married in the MEK’s camp in Albania right now. The rank and file of the MEK had to were military uniforms when they were settled in Camp Ashraf Iraq. After the group’s disarmament by the US army, their clothing was still regulated by the organization.
Today, MEK female member have to wear hijab. They are not allowed to wear tight or short clothes. However, the dress code is strict for both sexes in the group. Male members are not allowed to wear shorts or T-shirts in the world of 2022!

There are definitely a large number of more common personality and behavior traits between Pol Pot and Rajavi that can be taken into consideration to prove that Rajavi is ruling a modern slavery in the heart of Europe in Albanian territory very similar to the bloody dictatorship of Pol Pot that destroyed Cambodia. It may seem bizarre but must be just believed by the world’s human rights bodies and activists.

Mohammad Koohestani
The cult of Rajavi

Mujahedin Khalq and Children – Mohammad Koohestani

Mohammad Koohestani was born in 1982 when his parents had a clandestine life in Iran. His father Mostafa Koohestani had married his mother Zahra Farahnak three years earlier because the Mujahedin Khalq organization had ordered them to do so. Mohammad was the fruit of an organizational marriage.

After a while, Mohammad and his family were disappeared. The Farahnaks (the family of his mother) do not know exactly when Zahra, her husband and son left Iran to join the MEK in Iraq. It is estimated that they were smuggled across the Iran-Iraq border to relocate in the group’s Camp Ashraf in Iraq, in 1983 or 1984.

Mohammad Koohestani

Mohammad Koohestani

In 1988, Mohammad’s father, Morteza was killed in the MEK’s cross border operation against Iran, “Eternal Light” (Forough Javidan). And, Mohammad had to stay in a group life with other MEK children at Camp Ashraf. In 1990, when he was only eight years old, Mohammad was smuggled to Europe together with 700 other MEK children, under the order of Massoud Rajavi.

Eight years later, he was among those MEK children who were recruited as child soldiers by the group and sent back to Iraq. At Camp Ashraf he was got to wear military uniform and to receive military trainings. He served as the MEK’s army soldier in Iraqi deserts until the group was disarmed by the US army in 2003.

On July 28th 2009, Iraqi army decided to set a station inside Camp Ashraf. Massoud Rajavi leader of the MEK, ordered the rank and file to build a human shield against the Iraqi forces to stop them from entering the Camp. The clashes were sparked by the coerced members of the MEK and ended with the killing of 11 members. 35 more including Mohammad Koohestani were injured. He was hit in head.

Since then, Mohammad has been suffering severe headaches. He is 40 years old residing in the group’s camp in Manza, Albania right now. He still suffers headache and takes painkillers and sedative pills, according to the group defectors.

Although Mohammad and his mother live in the same camp, they do not have regular communications unless once or twice a year on special occasions. Family relationship is forbidden in the MEK. They do not have any contact with their relatives in Iran, either.

Families of martyrs of terrorist attacks call on Europe not to support the MEK

Some members of families of martyrs of terrorist attacks in Iran called Monday on Europe to stop supporting the terrorist group of Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) that has assassinated 17,000 Iranians.

Zohreh Elahian, chairman of Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) human right committee, recalled the martyrs families’ demand at a conference held in Tehran to mark the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism on August 21.

Director of the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Inger Marie, and some other Iranian parliamentarians were present in the conference.

ADVT

a conference held in Tehran to mark the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism on August 21

Elahian said at the conference that the Majlis human rights committee is after supporting those families and helping their voice of oppression be heard worldwide.

Unfortunately, the so-called advocates of the human rights are also the main supporters of the terrorist groups, Elahian added.

She further highlighted the special role the parliaments play in supporting the families of the martyrs of assassinations.

Then, she censured certain European countries which support the MKO and let them hold their meetings in the European states.

Referring to the January 2020 assassination of Lt General Qassem Soleimani by the US forces in Iraq, Elahian said that the Majlis has been following up the case in the international communities.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Qods Force commander Lieutenant General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the acting commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) – known as the Hashd al-Shaabi – were assassinated in Baghdad by the US attack on January 3, 2020.

As Elahian underlined, the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) has the great capacity to help weaken bases of terrorists and defend victims of terrorism.

August 21 is designated as International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, the move is an initiative made by Iran and accepted by the UN.
