A British institution and a number of former members of the Mojahedin-e khalq organization held a press conference in London to reveal its activities and called it a terrorist organization with inhumane internal relations…Baroness Emma Nicholson, member of European Parliament and member of House of Lords in UK supported the conference; her representative was in the conference.
No news is at hand in recent days on the fate of 250 members of the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO) who have been urging to leave Iraq and return to Iran as a priority, according to former MKO officials who have fled to Europe from Iraq.
With assistance from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Ministry of Human Rights, ten former members of the Iranian Mujahedeen-e Khalq Organization based at Camp Ashraf returned home this month.These former members requested to be repatriated back to Iran upon arrival at the Coalition controlled facility. Since late 2004, over 300 former members of the organization have returned home to Iran through the amnesty program provided by the Iranian Regime.”
As supporters of the rival dissident groups vied for media attention, one group accused the other of being imposters. An hour and a half into the National Press Club event in Washington, D.C., organizers halted it and Capitol police were called in to keep order.
On the eve of the trial of the toppled Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, some former members of the Mojahedeen Khalq Organsation (MKO) aka PMOI demanded that the leader of the outlawed Organisation and some of his close associates be also tried for “crimes against both the Iraqi and Iranian peoples”.
The main message of “Recognizing Sectarian Terrorism Seminar”, expressed briefly in its final statement, is that “The mafia-like inhuman organizational structure- established by a number of MKO ringleaders- is the only obstacle in the way of those members who want to choose freely and leave the group, ….MKO’s propaganda system revealed reasoning and cases reserved for the time after the confirmation of Iraqi constitution
The trial of Saddam Hussein will start on Wednesday 19th of October 2005…..The Mojahedin as part of Saddam’s military played a decisive role in the suppression of the internal uprisings in Iraq in 1991, and are responsible for the massacre of many Iraqi Shiites and Kurds who opposed Saddam. The best documented of these being the massacre of the Kurds in their uprising in March 1991.
Three former members of terrorist MKO (Mojahedin-e khalq organization) joined their families in special ceremony held in Shahid Beheshti Hall in the city of Kurdkooy….In this event, full of tears and happiness, the former members detailed MKO’s crimes.
most of these members were in Rajavi’s cult for 18 to 20 years who are separated from it due to threat, torture … in Rajavi’s cult and introduced themselves to TRC.
This indicates the disappointment and depressive atmosphere in Camp Ashraf- Iraq.
BBC’s Persian Service has conducted an interview with Mr. Massoud Jabani regarding former MKO members’ letter on MKO’s organized movements in order to defame dissidents and former members, which paves the way for Rajavi’s trained Fedayeens to assassinate them.
