…These poor guys were trapped by MKO dealers and smugglers. MKO agents encouraged Mirmehdi brothers to take part in MKO demonstrations in order to receive asylum immediately.
Unfortunately, Mirmehdi brothers were deceived by MKO and their participation in a MKO demonstration in 1997 led to detention and jail for 41 months….
In a realistic view, this is an invalid claim than can get no attention and independent newswires, governments, political institutions and parliamentarians approach such claims with scoff.
On the other hand, MKO with a few non-MKO members of the council (called NCRI), faces a major problem: having no supporter in Iran.
The recently published book Mojahedin Khalq Organization; Arising & the End is a celebrated and collective work of some Iranian researchers unveiling many facts on the formation and activities of MKO. The three volumes work is mainly a research based on existing evidences many of which are included.

In an interview published in Washington Post on 10 June 2006, Kamal Hamdoun, the head of Iraq’s lawyers’ union, deplored the dominant anarchy in Iraq saying:”We are living in terror. For example, I’m unable to move around freely. And there’s a gun in my drawer”
..front man for the MKO and the NCRI in the United States, is still being introduced by the Fox News Network as their independent Iran analyst. Fox News’ insistence on using this individual has prompted ridicule by many in the media and in political circles. Fox News has clearly decided that using this notorious man is more important for their pay masters than maintaining their reputation as a serious broadcaster…
None of the other Iranian opposition groups and dissidents, in spite of being vigorous opponents to the Islamic Republic, endorse Mojahedin Khalq’s position taken against Iran’s nuclear program because they are well aware of the fact that the right of taking advantage of peaceful nuclear technology belongs to Iranian nation rather than the ruling power.
These popular movements, particularly the Constitutional Revolution of 1905-9, the Jangal Rebellion of Gilan in 1917-21, the Oil Nationalization struggle of 1951-3, have been repeatedly exploited by Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) and the group took maximum advantage of these national movements.
neoconservatives in the US administration directly instructed the Mojahedin Khalq (MEK) several weeks ago to create”some nice-sounding NGOs”so that they can be funded under the 75 million dollars funding project which was approved to”promote democracy”in Iran.
