France wants to appeal the decision of the EU’s Court of appeal. States such as Austria, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg, however, argue that the Iranian opposition group after the decision of the EU judges could not stay on the terrorist list. This list, via a unanimous decision made by all 27 EU member states is renewed every six months.

MKO expulsion will be monitored by a special committee

Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari has stated that Baghdad intends to host talks between Iran and United States over the security situation in Iraq and called for maintaining “Iraq-Iraq-U.S. triangle”. ….. The foreign minister also dismissed reports that Iraq is showing leniency in expelling Mojahedin Khalgh Organization (MKO/PMOI/MEK), saying the Iraqi government has taken its decision on the group and the expulsion will be strictly monitored by a “special committee”…

Struggle for a new home

Blacklisted a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) whose activities are banned in the US, MKO has initiated a propaganda blitz there along within a number of European countries to draw attention for the protection of Camp Ashraf, its main cult bastion located in Iraq that houses majority of its captivated members… MKO believed that the alliance with Iraq could play a decisive role to alter the course of the war that was threatening the invader himself. The Iraqi soil offered MKO the opportunity to form the Liberation Army so it could stage cross-border attacks at the right time. Closeness to Iranian borders could facilitate it for the supposed sympathizers to join the group more easily and, on the other hand, the operational teams could easily penetrate to launch terrorist operations.

EU delisted MKO to manipulate it

the European Union (EU) delisted the terrorist Mojahedeen Khalq Organization (MKO) only to exploit it in line with its own interests. Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Javad Jahangirzadeh said the members of the terrorist MKO/PMOI/MEK will continue to serve their new European masters just the way they did for the toppled Saddam Hussein in Iraq for a long time.

PMOI crows … but probably not for long!

It is true that the decision to withdraw from the European list is motivated solely on technical issues and form such aspects of rights of defense. But now, France has appealed this decision and the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated that for it, PMOI did have its place on this list. Moreover, the text that was adopted makes it clear that several countries among the 27″are not convinced that the Mujahedin were away from terrorism”. It will be recalled that the process of withdrawal, the Swiss and the French had launched new accusations against PMOI.

The MKO movement is in decline

the movement is in decline already .Since the late nineties the internal dissent in Camp Ashraf is increasing and with the fall of the dictatorial regime of Saddam Hussein, the MKO will be deprived of their basic logistics..we believe that the leadership of MKO[PMOI/MEK] should answer the killing of civilian Kurds…we are sure that the meetings in Europe with several supporters and / or members of MKO led you to find them available and courteous.
