The European Parliament Held an Assembly, Considering the MKO’s Present Situation

Angelika Beer briefly explained the reason why MKO is absent. She said that”since MKO are known as a terrorist group and their name is among EU terrorist list therefore , they are prevented for attending the assembly.”Followed by Angelika Beer, Michael Matison read a report on legal rights in EU Parliament. Then Senator Josie Doubie shared his personal experience visiting the Camp Ashraf . He mentioned MKO is a cult group by the definition of the cult.

Europe Slaps MKO in the Face

This Council announced on January 31 that according to the ruling of the court it would provide the MKO with reasons of freezing its assets. The Council also stated that it would give a month to the MKO to present documents to defend itself before the Council announces the final decision.*

I am dismayed that the European Court is considering removal of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/MKO) from the list of organizations participating in acts of terrorism and violence.
