The Iraqi official stated that the German government, on Saturday, October 12th, received 33 residents of Camp Liberty.”We hope that we manage to accomplish the relocation process of Liberty residents in near future resettling them in third countries,” he said.
German media reported of an order issued to relocate a number of members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization aka MKO/MEK/PMOI from Iraqi Camp Liberty to Germany. The United Nation representatives and German government agreed to transfer 97 resident of Camp Liberty.
The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq (SRSG), Mr. Martin Kobler, welcomed the relocation of a first group of seven Camp Liberty residents to Germany today.“These are the first of the approximately 100 residents Germany has agreed to accept for relocation,” Mr. Kobler said

The German Interior Ministry confirmed the initiation of the processes required for granting asylum to the MKO/MEK/PMOI terrorists. The ministry said it is being examined whether the MKO members are qualified to receive visas.
