Iran will assist Iraq to deal with MKO: Najafabadi

In an interview with the Mehr News Agency on Tuesday the chief prosecutor of the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Tribunal (ISCT), Jaafar al-Mousavi, said there is evidence to suggest that the MKO had a hand in murdering Iraqi citizens. Al-Mousavi stated that an arrest warrant has been issued against 150 MKO members including ringleaders Maryam Rajavi and Mas?oud Rajavi.

Amir Abdullahian, the head of Iranian delegation in trilateral talks in Iraq, said in a press conference in Baghdad:”During the meeting of Iranian ambassador to Iraq and his American counterpart, the issue of MKO’s fate in Iraq was not mentioned but its involvement in sabotage operations in Iraq was discussed.”

Baqeri said, during the recent negotiations, Iran had asked the Americans why they would not allow the Iraqi police to use up-to-date weapons, why they could not establish security in Iraq with over 150 thousand soldiers, and also why they ignored the fact that certain groups are becoming armed in Iraq.
