The crime of genocide against Iraqi Kurds was committed in March 1991 in two regions in the northern parts of Iraqi Kurdistan namely “Kafri” and “Kalar”. The Governor of Iraq’s Kurdistan province in a statement issued the names of persons killed, injured or captured by MKO forces.
The defected members of the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) voiced their preparedness to go to the Swedish parliament to give a testimony about MKO’s key role in the massacre of Iraqi Kurds during the rule of executed dictator Saddam Hussein.
“The Organization collaborated (with the Saddam-era Iraqi forces) in the suppression of the Iraqi Intifada in 1991, in which the Kurds in Kurdistan and the Shiites in Southern Iraq were massacred,”Ghorbanabli Hosseinnejad, a highly trusted veteran member of the MKO/MEK/PMOI and the special interpreter of MKO ringleader….
After an Iraqi court on Sunday sentenced Hashemi – who has been convicted of running a death squad and is currently on the run in Turkey – to hang for the murder of a lawyer and a brigadier general, his terrorist counterparts, the Mujahedin e-Khalq organization couldn’t hide its anger by issuing a statement condemning the Iraqi court’s verdict.
A senior Iraqi official disclosed that several Baath party leaders who have recently returned from Syria have had tight cooperation with the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR)…he Baath party ringleaders and the MKO members have held some meetings in the villages and outskirts of the al-Khalis city
Maryam Sanjabi, a former ringleader of the MKO aka MEK/PMOI, said based on the agreements held between MKO ringleaders and Iraq’s officials in 1987, Saddam’s regime allocated the revenues gained from selling 50,000 barrels per day of oil to the MKO in addition to arms and logistic support.
“The Istekhbarat (security) service of Iraq always considered the MKO as one of its subordinate units and a subdivision of Istekhbarat and was present in all high-level meetings of the MKO/MEK/PMOI as the dominating side,”Hosseinnejad said.
There are many misconceptions about the MEK/MKO/PMOI so I checked in with several Iranian born experts on Iran. All of them are distressed that American politicians are advocating for the MEK. They also doubt that the money paid to the politicos comes from the Iranian Diaspora because most expatriate Iranians do no support the MEK.. a Washington political consultant, said,”The MEK is a terrorist group. It is a cult of religious automatons. ..
One important issue that should be noticed is about the organizations funds and expenses of which I obtained some films and documents of former Baath intelligence service…One of the most important financial resources of the organization was “information selling”. This is done by a large spying network which is working under the supervision of the MKO. It sells the extensive intelligence it gains from all over the world to countries willing to have them.
According to a report published by the Kuwaiti Al-Dar daily, the MKO/MEK/PMOI members had all-out cooperation with Saddam forces and were in massive intelligence coordination with former Iraqi regimes’ military and security authorities during the occupation of Kuwait.The MKO members had also participated in checkpoint operations and interrogated Kuwaiti citizens..The daily said that MKO’s main elements were stationed at a hotel near Hawalli square ..
