France based ‘MKO’ trained rioters arrested in Iran

Many rioters arrested in the recent unrest in Iran have been trained by the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), the IRGC commander said, adding that enemies have even dispatched a number of Isis terrorists to Iran for acts of sabotage.

In comments on Wednesday, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said many rioters arrested after December 29 amid violent unrest in some cities of Iran have been trained by the anti-revolutionary forces and the MKO terrorists.

The timely public move to counter the riots helped security forces capture the ringleaders of sedition quickly, the general added, saying that the IRGC forces took limited action only in three provinces of Isfahan, Lorestan and Hamedan to quell the riots.

According to the commander, the US, Zionists and Al Saud have ordered a number of offense teams of the Daesh terrorist group to enter Iran for acts of sabotage and blasts, but stressed that Iran has gotten all of those attack teams under control.

Weaker teams of the terrorist group would not even dare to cross the Iranian border, he added.

Major General Jafari also disclosed a seditious plot by the rioters and their masters for a rise in the death toll from the unrest in Iran and blaming it on the government.

The “casualty-creating” scenario was carried out in the cities of Qahdarijan, Izeh and Najafabad, as even two voluntary forces were martyred by rifle pellets and stabbing, the commander went on to say.

Riots broke out in some Iranian cities last week amid peaceful rallies in protest at price hikes and economic woes.

Security forces have arrested a number of leading rioters and mercenaries affiliated with foreign intelligence services, a chief judiciary official in Tehran said.

On Tuesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the role of enemies in the recent events in Iran, saying the adversaries have employed various tools at their disposal, including money, weapon, politics and security organizations, to harm the Islamic Republic.

On Wednesday, people held demonstrations in many cities across Iran to condemn the riots and acts of vandalism.

CIA agent arrested over murder charges

IRI Intelligence Ministry has nabbed an individual related to the CIA during the February 14 riots.
Minister of Intelligence Heidar Moslehi told IRIB Thursday night that the nabbed individual was recruiting agents besides his routine plans.

Moslehi noted that the individual was an Iranian national and the ministry has kept an eye on him since months ago.

The minister said another individual has been arrested by the ministry in connection to the killings of two Iranian citizens during the riots.

The individual is an agent of the terrorist MKO group and the group has exhausted its possibilities to help him to exit Iran, according to the minister, who added that the MKO agent has provided god information to the ministry concerning his cooperation with the group.

Pre planned Assassination by MKO terrorists

Iran’s Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi says security forces have managed to identify people behind the assassination of Sane’ Jalleh during a demonstration in Tehran.

“Necessary measures have been taken regarding the matter and the Ministry will announce its next move concerning the issue,” IRNA quoted Moslehi as saying on Wednesday.

Jalleh, a Tehran University student, was assassinated by members of the anti-Iran terrorist group, Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), during an illegal rally in the Iranian capital on February 14.

The intelligence minister further pointed out that Jalleh’s assassination was part of a pre-planned scheme by the MKO, adding “they had identified their victim in advance and had planned to assassinate him.”[…]

Tehran says American NGOs and organizations provided financial support for the post-election unrest in Iran in 2009 in an attempt to topple the Islamic establishment.

Source Reveals MKO’s Pivotal Role in Tehran’s Monday Unrests

Sources close to the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization revealed that MKO had played a key role in the Monday unrests in the Iranian capital.

The Habilian Association, an Iran-based human rights group formed by the family members of the Iranian victims of terrorism, quoted reliable sources as saying that MKO’s surrogate ringleader Maryam Rajavi had dispatched several operational teams to Tehran and had been in constant contact with the team members until the end of unrests.

"Mayam Rajavi was in direct contact with the operational units dispatched to Tehran and ordered them to spray live fire on the public who had risen to stand against the few seditionists," Habilian said.

"In this terrorist operation which took place in Tehran’s Qasroddasht neighborhood on Monday February 14, the Basiji student, Saneh Zhaleh, was martyred and four others were severely wounded," it added.

"A student activist in France disclosed that over 350 members of the MKO had been sent from several European and Asian countries to Tehran and other major Iranian cities, based on plan drawn by the main ringleader of the MKO, Massoud Rajavi," the Habilian website said.

The website said the MKO teams intended to start riots, set fire on garbage cans, destroy public amenities and private properties and shoot and kill the large number of the self-driven people who had come to defend the Islamic Republic and the government against the seditionists in a bid to provoke the police and security forces into reciprocating the gunfire to create a pool of blood in the capital and to escalate the unrests.

But after police refrained from armed clashes with the seditionists and the public pushed the seditionists back, the MKO plot ended in failure, the website added.

Several groups of seditionists staged riots in western Tehran on Monday afternoon. Rioters damaged public amenities and private buildings and properties and set up roadblocks by setting fire on garbage cans during the rush hour in the Iranian capital.

Rioters opened fire at the public and police troops, killing one university student on the scene and wounding 9 more. One of those wounded in the incident also died at the hospital.

Tehran’s police tried to disperse the rioters, but did not reciprocate the gunfire. Police officials announced on Tuesday that most of those wounded in the incident were security and police troops.

According to police officials, the seditionists had hatched a plot to get the police and security forces involved in armed clashes to allege that they had been treated violently, but they failed to do so.

The MKO, whose main stronghold is in Iraq, is blacklisted by much of the international community, including the United States.

Before an overture by the EU, the MKO was on the European Union’s list of terrorist organizations subject to an EU-wide assets freeze. Yet, the MKO puppet leader, Maryam Rajavi, who has residency in France, regularly visited Brussels and despite the ban enjoyed full freedom in Europe.

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the camp are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

Leaders of the group have been fighting to shed its terrorist tag after a series of bloody anti-Western attacks in the 1970s, and nearly 30 years of violent struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who also argue for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

The MKO has been in Iraq’s Diyala province since the 1980s.

Iraqi security forces took control of the training base of the MKO at Camp Ashraf – about 60km (37 miles) north of Baghdad – last year and detained dozens of the members of the terrorist group.
The Iraqi authority also changed the name of the military center from Camp Ashraf to the Camp of New Iraq.

Intelligence Forces Foil Bombing Plots in Northern Iran

A senior Iranian provincial judiciary official announced on Saturday that the country’s intelligence forces have defused several bombing plots in the northern province of Mazandaran.

Head of Mazandaran’s Provincial Justice Department Hojjatoleslam Hossein Talebi told reporters that intelligence and security forces had arrested several members of the anti-Iran terrorist group, the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), who planned to stage bomb attacks in a number of the cities of Mazandaran province.

"Six suspects have been arrested in this regard," Talebi added.

The official refused to provide any details about the bombing plots or identity of the terrorists, but said that the terrorists were arrested in Ramsar before they could put their plots into action.
Talebi mentioned that further investigations into the case are still underway.

Also, last Tuesday the Iranian intelligence ministry announced that its forces had disbanded two MKO teams before they could stage their planned sabotage and terrorist operations in the capital city of Tehran.

"The terrorist teams aimed to plant bombs in a number of squares in Tehran," Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi said at the time, adding the security forces arrested them in a surprise attack before any the terrorists could make a move.

An Iranian official had also announced on Sunday that several members of the MKO were arrested in Tehran last Friday, while they were seeking to spark tension in the Iranian capital on the anniversary of the last year’s presidential election.

"Based on the information received (thus far), a number of MKO members are among the individuals who were arrested by the people (civilians) yesterday," Governor-General of Tehran Morteza Tammadon said.

The development came as a number of opposition groups sought to stage illegal rallies to repeat their last year claims about the outcome of the presidential election that led to the victory of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on June 12, 2009.

Rioters arrested during Iran’s post-election unrests had acknowledged MKO’s leading role in sparking unrests in the Iranian capital last year.

They confessed that they had received trainings in the Camp Ashraf of the MKO in Iraq to conduct sabotage and terror operations in Iran.

The MKO is responsible for numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials as well as Iraqis during the rein of Saddam.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the Islamic Revolution in Iran in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. MKO terrorists confess to bombing plots

Two Iranian terrorists confessed to plotting to plant bombs in busy Tehran intersections after receiving guidance from Europe-based handlers belonging to Mojahedin Khalq (MKO) terrorist group.

In a televised confession, the two men stated that they receive bomb-making instruction through email and were then directed by two female handlers, one based in London and the other based in Sweden, as to where and when to plant their explosives.

The terrorist noted that they were instructed just before they were to plant their bombs that in case they were caught, they should deny their affiliation with the MKO since the terror organization is making headways in getting off the terror list of the US and Europe.

According to the terror suspects, they planned date for planting their explosives was June 10 – 20, around the June 12 anniversary of Iran’s last year presidential elections that was followed by foreign-backed riots.

The two terrorists also stated that they had visited MKO terrorist camp in Iraq in recent years to receive terror training.

The terrorists were reportedly being monitored by Iranian intelligence agents all along and were captured just before they were to plant their bombs.

Iran’s Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi has charged Britain, France and Sweden of backing and providing safe haven to the MKO terrorists.

Washington backed MKO members arrested before detonating bombs

Iran arrests members of "terrorist" exiled group – tv

Iran said on Tuesday it had arrested members of an exiled opposition group who had planned terrorist attacks in Tehran on the first anniversary of a disputed presidential election, state television reported.

The report said members of the Mujahideen Khalq Organisation (MKO) were arrested by the Intelligence Ministry before they could detonate bombs in "a few squares in Tehran".
"By using some … people trained in Iraq … and the support of Britain, Sweden and France, the leaders of this criminal group wanted to detonate bombs in sensitive places in Tehran," Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi was quoted as saying.

Moslehi did not say how many people were arrested or when.

The report came two days after Iran said it had arrested 13 members of an anti-revolutionary group who had carried out terrorist attacks in the Islamic state.
Tehran said that armed group was linked to the Islamic state’s "foreign enemies".[…]
Moslehi said at least one of the detained MKO members had been involved in the post-election unrest.

An Iranian official announced on Sunday that several members of the anti-Iran terrorist group, the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), were arrested in Tehran yesterday, while they were seeking to spark tension in the Iranian capital on the anniversary of the last year’s presidential election.

"Based on the information received (thus far), a number of MKO members are among the individuals who were arrested by the people (civilians) yesterday," Governor-General of Tehran Morteza Tammadon said on Sunday.

The official declined to provide any further details, including the exact number of the MKO members arrested yesterday.

"The intelligence and law enforcement officials will present information in due time," he said.

The website of MKO has admitted that members of the terrorist organization had a hand in recent riots in Tehran.

The MKO mastermind, Maryam Rajavi admitted that her group had sent several teams to Tehran to stir a turmoil in the capital.

Meanwhile, the European Union recently wrote off the MKO from its terror list, in a move denounced by many analysts as bias and double approach.

The MKO has been involved in scores of assassination bids in the early Islamic Republic.

Iran: Mousavi’s Nephew Assassinated by MKO

Iran announced on Wednesday that the anti-Iran terrorist group, the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), was responsible for the Sunday attack on the slain nephew of the defeated presidential candidate, Mir-Hossein Mousavi.

"We have no doubt that Monafeqin (the Hypocrites, as MKO is referred to in Iran) has been involved in this issue," Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi told reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting here in Tehran today.

The MKO has been blacklisted as a terrorist organization by many international organizations and countries including the United States.

The terrorist group targeted Iranian government officials and civilians in Iran and abroad in the early 1980s. The group also attempted an unsuccessful invasion of Iran in the last days of the Iraq-Iran war in 1988.

Moslehi reiterated that investigations into the case are still underway, and assured that the country’s authorities will pursue the case to the end.

Meantime, the intelligence minister dismissed the reports that Seyed Ali Mousavi, the son of Mir-Hossein’s sister, was killed during the Sunday frenzy in Tehran.

"The incident has happened in the form of a terror attack and in a place other than the area of the unrests," he added.

A group of opposition supporters on Sunday took advantage of the highly revered religious day of Ashoura – the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Shiite Muslims’ third Imam – to chant slogans against top Iranian government officials.

Meantime, tens of millions of Iranians were on the streets on Sunday to take part in annual massive processions across the country to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hossein (AS).

Clashes began after demonstrators started clapping and showing happiness, insulting the mourning people who were also in the streets to commemorate Imam Hossein’s martyrdom anniversary.

Tehran’s police headquarters announced that eight people were killed in clashes, but meantime underlined that the police forces neither used violence nor fired a single bullet on Sunday.
