Albanian Police Report says Mojahedin Khalq Kill Their Own Members

Following a Channel Four News report on the MEK in Albania, presented by international editor Lindsey Hilsum, there has been widespread interest in this issue in the Albanian media. In particular journalists have focused on a secret report by Albania’s National Police, which was obtained by Channel Four News. The report states that MEK in Albania poses a lethal threat to their own members if they try leave or try to leave.

The report acknowledges MEK’s history of killing its own members in Iraq and says police believe this will also happen in Albania.

In June 2018, Albanian media reported a possible MEK assassination after one of the camp residents was reported drowned in an irrigation channel. The alarm was raised by some MEK members who gave conflicting accounts of Malek Shara’i’s drowning. This indicated that they knew from the start he was dead, even though after extensive searches by expert police and navy divers, no body was found for over two weeks.

Eventually, after the scandal of his disappearance became headline news in Albania, a body was suddenly discovered. Shara’i’s family in Iran made a plea to the authorities to discover how he had died. However, MEK convinced the Coroner that a post mortem investigation would be against Iranian sacred burial traditions! MEK then took away the body. There is now a grave bearing his name in the cemetery in Tirana alongside other MEK who have died in that country. The case was closed.

Shara’i’s next of kin are his immediate family who quickly got in touch with the Albanian authorities. They informed investigators that Shara’i had been a strong swimmer and a lifeguard back in Iran. However, they were not consulted at any stage in the investigation or asked for permission for an autopsy, nor told a cause of death or asked about burial preferences.

Putting aside the possible reason that Shara’i died – former members said he had long wanted to leave but knew sensitive information which MEK wanted to keep secret – the failure of the Coroner to challenge MEK’s ridiculous assertion that a post mortem examination is against ‘their’ culture, leaves an opening now for MEK to kill and bury unwanted members with impunity. Apparently, no Albanian institution has the will or capability to resist MEK corruption.

Nevertheless, as the following reports demonstrate, Albanian citizens as well as their security forces, are seriously questioning the appropriateness of MEK’s presence in their small and vulnerable country.

Police secret report: Mojahedin pose a threat to security in Albania

7 September 2018

Mojahedin pose a danger to Albania’s security, according to the English Channel 4 public broadcaster. The television channel’s main correspondent, Lindsey Hilsum, has broadcast a report on the Mojahedin in Albania, including a secret police file of the State Police.

According to this document, signed by director general of the Albanian State Police, Ardi Veliu, Mojahedin constitute a security risk in Albania, as there are reasonable suspicions that members of the MEK group may kill members who leave or attempt to get out of the group.

Mojahedin “may have implications for internal security, as these individuals are deeply indoctrinated, have been part of military structures, have participated in fighting and acts of terror,” the secret document says.

The Mojahedin cult, otherwise known as MEK, became a terrorist group and was included in the 2012 U.S. list of terrorist organizations. Given the indoctrination of members and their activity in Iraq, State Police suspects that they may repeat their killings of members who leave the group.

“Former members of this organization have been murdered in Iraq after they have appeared publicly in opposition to the organization’s activities … following the indication of the actions and behaviors of the citizens in question who are currently separated from this organization, there are reasonable grounds for suspicion that this situation is the same as happened in Iraq, which was followed by murder”, reads the document signed by Ardi Veliu.

Currently the Mojahedin have been accommodated in a large camp at Manez in Durres, where they are under continuous scrutiny by the Albanian authorities to prevent any potential danger they may have for the security of the country.

SECRET POLICE REPORT / Mojahedin ALBANIA, capable of terrorist acts, must be kept under control (documentary CHANNEL 4 NEWS)

10 September 2018

Within Albania, a giant camp is being built for the Mojahedin. Information and some video footage were collected by journalist Lindsey Hilsum, an international editor and presenter of Channel 4 News, who has come to Albania and tried to visit the camp.

She wanted to go to the headquarters of MEK, Iran’s largest opposition group, which has been established for several years in Albania. And one of Iran’s opposition’s friends, is US President Donald Trump.

John Bolton, President Trump’s advisor, spoke to members of the Iranian opposition last year in Albania and how they should take power.

Journalist Lindesy Hilsum has gone to the camp and was not allowed by private guards to enter the camp to conduct interviews.

“I do not understand why the private guards won’t allow us. We are here in Albania”, she says in the documentary, while she says she was accused by the Mojahedin as a spy in the Iranian regime.

But behind the camp’s wire fence the journalist has seen numerous machines working, highlighting the fact that the camp is expanding, though no one will speak.

Even though she has presented her journalist’s identity card, the Albanian private guards have not allowed her to do her job. “Stop the footage”, the private security guard is heard on the camera and then puts his hand on the camera to prevent the footage.

In the Iran-Iraq war, MEK fought on the side of Saddam Hussein, the journalist says, against their country. The Iranian regime at that time executed hundreds of members of the opposition, MEK. They operated from military bases in Iraq and were then classified by the US as a terrorist organization.

When the Americans removed Saddam in 2003, MEK surrendered to US troops. But they were always under attack by pro-Iranian forces. And at that moment the US has revoked MEK’s terrorist status and then dispersed the Mojahedin in four US-backed countries, one of them being Albania.

“In Tirana, I met a couple of Canadian citizens who distributed leaflets to citizens while saying that MEK is not good for their country.

They said they came to Albania to see their daughter, Somayeh, claiming she was kidnapped by MEK 20 years ago and they found her in Albania.”

“I am not against Mojahedin. I have no interest in politics. I want to see my daughter, only for 10 minutes”, says the girl’s father to the Channel4News journalist.

Somayeh Mohammadi told another reporter that her father was an Iranian spy and she would not see him. “He came to Albania to spy on our camp. He has come to Albania to tell people that Mojahedin have abducted me. But this is not true” was the girl’s assertion.

The Mojahedin in the Albanian camp are afraid that former members of the group are spying on them and want to eliminate them.

The journalist also found a former Mojahedin member who shows that life in the MEK camp is not free. He has talked willingly about the division of men and women in the camp and that they should not have any opinion about sex. “During the day, every camp member had to write about sexual thoughts and every evening we should read them in front of others and commanders”, he says.

Plan of Albanian police measures

The journalist has come across the plan of the Albanian police to maintain the Iranian opposition in Albania. The document is titled, “Action Plan for Monitoring and Preventing and Preventing Possible Crime in the Perspective of Iranian Nationals Members of the MEK Organization Hosted in Albania”.

“Currently, in the territory of the Republic of Albania, 2745 Iranian citizens have been sheltered for several years. These citizens are part of the MEK organization, otherwise known as the Iranian opposition. The arrival of Iranian asylum seekers in our country can have implications for internal security, as these individuals are deeply indoctrinated, have been part of military structures, have participated in fighting and acts of terror”, the Albanian police write.

According to the document, Mojahedin Khalq or Iran’s Mojahedin Organization, otherwise known as MEK and PMOI, is a revolutionary Marxist-Islamic group, founded in 1965.

In the secret document of the Albanian police, it is said that three Iranian nationals, separated from the camp and living in Tirana, have had their lives threatened by the MEK. And they have reported this at the police station in Tirana in February 2018.

“With regard to these situations and from the data obtained in the operative, it has been learned that: Previously in Iraq Former members of this organization have been murdered in Iraq after they have appeared publicly in opposition to the organization’s activities with the intent of damaging its cause. As can be seen above, and the statements given by Iranian citizens on the “Fiks Fare” show and the charges made to the police commissariats by these citizens, the time, the way of acting, their behavior is similar to the way in a situation of happened earlier in Iraq.

Along the way, by looking at the indications of the actions and behaviors of the concerned citizens who are currently separated from this organization, there are reasonable grounds for suspicion that this situation is the same as happened in Iraq, which was followed by murder.

Assessing the importance of the above information from the state police institution, a maximum assessment of this situation should be carried out and full measures should be planned as follows:

To undertake a thorough assessment of security measures, to ensure public safety, to prevent any criminal act that may occur between members of the MEK organization and its detained persons.

Assess any information related to this situation in order to prevent possible criminal incidents.

Instruct, engage and maximize the capabilities of all state police officers to recognize and engage in the pursuit of these elements. Identification of all settlements and settlements of Iranian nationals in our country and mainly in Tirana and Durres, “reads in the secret police document of the state.

Ylli Zyla, former Chief of Information Service from 2008-2012, also spoke about this organization. “It is strictly strict and if anyone comes out of their criminal framework they are executed by their own members within themselves”, says Ylli Zyla.

Channel4 contacted MEK but was accused of spying for Iran and wanting to break the Iranian opposition. Meanwhile, the journalist shows the support of many politicians from the United States.

“Maybe, according to journalist Lindsey Hilsum, MEK is more threatened by itself than by Iran. In the camp, while they are not allowed to have children, there will be no new generation.

Outside Tirana, we found in the cemetery those who died of a disease, or even age. Everyone has died without seeing their families, and far from their homes.

Albania

Open letter to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Albania ‎Fatmir Xhafaj

Honorable Mr. ‎Fatmir Xhafaj I , Zahra MOEINI, Iranian – German who had been a captive in Rajavi cult for many years and during those years of captivity , i had been deprived of getting in touch with my family and friends because this cult did not allow me to get in touch with them . I lost my health in that cult . The leaders of this cult had lied to us frequently . Mrs. Homa BASHARDOOST ,one of the members of this cult , who wanted to return to Iran to live with her children , was killed in a fake fire in that cult . Mrs. Roya who was a Iranian kordish woman, got disappeared after she told to Massoud Rajavi in a cult gathering that nobody is waiting for you in Iran .

I was witness of those events which I mentioned above . The leaders of this cult forced us to separate from our spouses and the couples who stood up against that , got disappeared .The leaders of this cult separated the couples from their children. They were sent to Iran , Europe, and United States . Some of those children got raped , some got disappeared , some who were brother and sister got separated from each other and were sent to different countries.

In 1992, I was a member of Maryam Rajavi’s security team and with 450 members of this cult ,came to France from Iraq . After coming to France , the operatives of this cult sent me to Germany to work for them in there . I was wounded badly in Iraq in one of the cult operations and the operatives of this cult did not pay attention to my injury and instead they forced me to work and collect money from German people . In 1994 , i found out about their lies ,frauds, and thefts so i decided to escape from them , because if i wanted to say to them that i want to separate , i was going to be disappeared or killed like others who got disappeared or killed before me. I escaped and I went to the German-police and i informed them about this notorious cult in details and because of that Massoud Rajavi got mad and he announced my death-sentence .

Mr Mostafa Mohammady and his wife Mrs Mahbobeh Hamzeh who are both Canadian-citizens have been in Albania to visit and rescue their beloved daughter ,Somayeh Mohammady , since two months ago . They went to Iraq from Canada to visit and rescue their daughter while this cult was in Iraq , but they were attacked and beaten up by the cult operatives . Mr Mohammady the father of Somayeh Mohammady, had been attacked and beaten up by the cult operatives in Auvers Sur Oise (the headquarter of this notorious cult) in outskirt of Paris as well.

Mr. ‎Fatmir Xhafaj ,

The letter sent to you by Miss Somayeh Mohammady , is not her words but the operatives of this cult had written that letter under her name and sent it to you . There has been a new wave of reports in Albanian-Media in support of Mr Mohammady’s family , this shows the real essence and content of this terrorist cult to the Albanian people and politicians , and the operatives of this cult in Albania are trying their best to neutralize Mr and Mrs Mohammady’s efforts to visit and rescue their daughter. In 2 September 2018 , when Rajavi cult and its operatives found out about the Albania public supports and Albania media support towards Mohammady family for the release and rescue of their beloved daughter , they brought her with another person to a tv-program with pre- prepared english writeen statement .

If Somayeh Mohammady is a free person in Rajavi cult and she has chosen freely to stay and work in that cult by her own will ,why are Mrs Maryam Rajavi and her cult operatives not willing to allow Somayeh Mohammady to visit her parents and talk with reporters and media without the presence of the cult operatives to say whatever her will is face to face to her parents and to the media as well?? The Rajavi cult is terrified if Somayeh Mohammady visits her parents freely and talk to them face to face without the presence of cult operatives, she will be impressed by her family and she will decide to separate from Rajavi cult forever and this separation will cause the separation of others in that notorious-terrorist cult so the cult operatives do not want this happens and lose control .

Mr. ‎Fatmir Xhafaj,

I asked Mrs Maryam Rajavi to have a TV-debate with us as her critics even in her own TV-station but so far our request has been ignored . I am ready and willing to share my experiences about this cult with you and with your media in Albania whenever and wherever you want

ALL THE BEST Mrs Zahra MOEINI Germany

MEK Women
Former members of the MEK

Five female members defected the Cult of Rajavi

Five female members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ the Cult of Rajavi) escaped the group, Iran Interlink reported.

According to the sources in Abania, Marzieh Qobadi, Sorour Salami, Sara Haftbaradaran, Raheleh Zabeti and Mozhgan Taghipour are the five women who could manage to leave the MKO despite the very sever supervision of the cult authorities.

During the past month the MKO authorities have been exposed by various news media for their cult-like undemocratic behavior against their own members. Particularly the case of Somayeh Mohammadi whose parents traveled to Albania calling for the visit of their daughter.

The British Channel Four TV also published a video report on the MKO’s “secretive camp” in Albania. The report demonstrates the isolated MKO camp in Albania where members are maintained under security guards.

Rudy Giuliani
Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

MEK Gathering or Rendezvous in Paris?!

It seems that American advocate of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ the Cult of Rajavi)  are not only motivated by the group’s large amounts of speaking fees but also by love affairs. On June 12th, 2018, Page Six was first to reveal the affairs of the former New York mayor and the personal attorney of Donald Trump attorney, Rudy Giuliani with Maria Rosa Ryan –both MKO supporters:

Rudy Giuliani cheated on his wife with a married New Hampshire hospital administrator, multiple sources told The Post.

The mayor-turned-presidential lawyer, 74, and Maria Rosa Ryan, 53, began their affair before he and wife Judith Nathan separated last month — and Nathan filed for divorce five days after the pair was spotted getting cozy at a resort hotel in the Granite State.

Giuliani, who has recently been the face of President Trump’s legal team, denied the affair to The Post Tuesday after it broke the story of his relationship with Ryan.

He acknowledged that he and Ryan had dinner and watched a movie at the posh spa — but claimed he was already “in effect separated’’ from Nathan at the time.

But Nathan, 63, angrily shot back in a statement, “My husband’s denial of the affair with the married Mrs. Ryan is as false as his claim that we were separated when he took up with her.”

Nathan filed for divorce April 4 — after Giuliani publicly stepped out with his mistress on a March 29 tour of the hospital she runs. The visit was covered by local TV news cameras.

The former US attorney — who as head of global consulting and security firms has done business for nations including Qatar and Colombia, as well as OxyContin drug giant Purdue Pharma — told reporters he was touring the tiny, rural hospital to learn about its cybersecurity program.

Local ABC-TV affiliate WMUR aired video of ”America’s Mayor” walking with Ryan through her 25-bed Cottage Hospital

Giuliani said he hopes to take what he can learn in Woodsville and incorporate it into his cybersecurity firm,” WMUR reported.

Ryan crowed to the Caledonian-Record newspaper that Cottage “was among the first hospitals in the nation to adopt the newest technologies’’ — and “that’s why we get a lot of attention from people like Rudy Giuliani.”

But after the hospital tour, Giuliani and Ryan — who lives with her husband, Robert, a former Marine, in Manchester — headed an hour north to the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa in Whitefield.

The thrice-married Giuliani booked the posh resort’s spacious Summit Suite — with views of the Presidential Range — for the pair, sources said.

Past guests at the historic, four-star spot include Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Richard Nixon, author Stephen King and former first lady Michelle Obama.

Giuliani and Ryan dined with three male guests in the resort’s private dining area, The Hunt Room, on March 29, according to sources. He ordered the $32 beef rib.

After dinner, “the woman went back to his room with him,” a waitress told The Post.

“We were all surprised because he is really getting on in years, and she was quite a bit younger than him. We were all like, ‘Hmmm,’ ” the server added.

Hotel staff noted that while Giuliani didn’t seem as if he was trying to hide his girlfriend from them, he was careful to meet with Ryan only in more secluded areas of the resort.

A male assistant for the former New York City mayor made sure that his boss was on the hotel’s “VIP list’’ and arranged for him to watch “The Godfather” and “Godfather II” in its private movie-screening room.

“[Giuliani] was VIP, so when he requested the movies, I made sure to have them ready for him,” a hotel employee said. “We all recognized him right away. We were all very impressed.”

On August 31, an investigated report on what has happened to the Giuliani couple was covered by the New York Magazine. Interviewing Rudy’s third wife Judith, the NY Magazine’s columnist Tish Durkin gives a detailed account on the affairs of the President’s attorney. In parts of the report the journalist states that Ryan and Giuliani traveled to Paris together to attend the MKO-run rallies:

Ryan seems to be a very well-respected figure in the field of rural health care. Her involvement in Iranian-dissident politics, however, is new and strikingly coincident with Rudy’s. At the end of June, they both traveled to Paris for the annual conference of Mujahadeen-e-Kak (MEK), an Iranian opposition-in-exile group.

“He had this woman with him, and her daughter and granddaughter,” recalls one attendee, still aghast at the revealing attire all three sported at a conservative Muslim event. (Having married as a teenager, Ryan is both about two decades younger than Rudy and a grandmother.) Somehow installed on a preconference panel, Ryan struck this person as generally intelligent, but clueless about foreign policy. Later, at the private dinner hosted by MEK leader Maryam Rajavi, Ryan was no more covered up, but the personal nature of her relationship with the former mayor was more clearly exposed.

Rudy Giuliani’s Foreign Lobbying

His work for a member of a pro-Russian political party is drawing scrutiny.

September 1, 2018 – Washington, District of Columbia, U.S. – Lawyer for United States President Donald J. Trump, Rudy Giuliani, right, greets Ukrainian politician and Mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko as they arrive for the funeral service for late United States Senator John McCain (Republican of Arizona) at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC on September 1, 2018. .Credit: Alex Edelman / CNP (Credit Image: Alex Edelman/CNP via ZUMA Wire)

Senate Democrats have asked the Justice Department to investigate whether Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, is violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act by lobbying for foreign interests without registering with the agency.

Seven Democrats wrote Thursday to John Demers, assistant attorney general for the department’s national security division, following news that Giuliani sent a letter in August to Romania’s president attacking an anti-corruption campaign there. Giuliani has acknowledged he was paid to send the letter by a firm run by former FBI director Louis Freeh, who represents one or more wealthy Romanians investigated under the campaign. (Freeh is not registered as a foreign agent.) The former New York mayor’s letter, which contradicts official US policy and drew a rebuke from the State Department, drew attention to what the Democratic senators describe as Giuliani’s “numerous foreign clients and ongoing communications with senior U.S. government officials,” including President Trump. Giuliani has not ended his work for foreign governments, nor has he fully disclosed his client list, even as he advises the president.

The senators note that Giuliani also lobbied to help the Mujahedin-e-Khalq, an Iranian opposition group, win removal from a State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations, and has advocated for regime change in Iran, one of the group’s top goals. His recent clients include the government of Qatar, which is aggressively working to influence Trump, and he has referenced unnamed clients in Colombia and Brazil. Giuliani’s firm, Giuliani Security & Safety, has touted work for governments in Serbia, Ukraine, Chile, Dominica, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador. Neither the firm nor any of its employees has registered under with the Justice Department. The firm did not respond to requests for comment.

The senators’ letter says Giuliani’s work for the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, whose mayor is a member of Ukraine’s Party of Regions, is especially concerning. That party, known for a pro-Russia stance, is the organization that employed former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort as an advisor and lobbyist between 2006 and 2014. Manafort, convicted last month of tax fraud in connection with that work, and for bank fraud, faces another trial later this month for charges that include failing to register as a lobbyist for the party.

“Mr. Giuliani’s financial connection to the organization, the organization’s close ties with the Russian government, and Mr. Giuliani’s ongoing public advocacy against Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election raises further questions that warrant review,” the senators write.

Giuliani has said he does not believe he is required to register with the Justice Department as a foreign agent because he does not directly lobby Trump or the US government. But the FARA law generally requires anyone attempting to influence US policy on behalf of a foreign entity to register with the Justice Department regardless of whether they lobby directly. The senators urged Demers to scrutinize Giuliani’s claims that he does not advocate for clients in private communications with Trump and top White House aides. “Without further review, it is impossible to know whether Mr. Giuliani is lobbying U.S. government officials on behalf of his foreign clients,” they write.

The senators who signed onto the letter are Tom Udall (D-N.M.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Richard Durbin (D-Ill.), and Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.).

Iran Interlink Weekly Digest

Iran Interlink Weekly Digest – 242

++ Channel 4 News broadcast a segment about the MEK in its 7 o’clock news programme on Thursday, ‘The shadowy cult Trump advisors tout as an alternative to the Iranian government’. The piece focused on MEK in Albania as a secretive, ageing cult which pays Americans to make them appear popular. It was clear that MEK has been reduced to a role as a propaganda outlet for western regime change pundits. One former member described how his job was to create Twitter and Facebook accounts to make it appear that MEK was popular among Iranians. (Presenter Lindsay Hilsum – International Editor – did not ask how much he was paid for this work, but the answer is ‘nothing’ because MEK are modern slaves.) The in-depth news segment concluded that MEK members in Albania will die of old age or disease without having seen their families for many years.

++ MEK’s response to the Channel 4 programme was predictable. A flurry of copy/paste denouncements implying that C4 collusion with Iran would lead to the killing of MEK in Albania. Some good responses to this were:

@gthanku Puns N’ Roses, who Tweeted: “The replies from MeK trolls are hilarious; they’re oblivious to the fact that they’re bolstering this expose by illustrating the kind of trolling the MeK defector describes in it.”

@WeAreManyEU We Are Many, who Tweeted: “Funny how all these MEK trolls are saying the same thing at the same time. Seems they are all sitting next to each other and have created a production line of trolling.”

++ The C4 report mentioned a damning report by Albanian police and security services which says: “In Iraq some former members of this organisation were murdered [by the MEK]… there are reasonable suspicions that the situation here is similar to the one in Iraq.”

++ In Albania, the popular satirical comedy programme Fiks Fare on Top Channel TV tore the MEK apart by ridiculing the group. The programme is titled ‘Canadian family asks Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare for help: “MEK mujahedeens took our daughter’. In one scene a Top Channel journalist visits the MEK Manza camp to ask if Somayeh Mohammadi could verify if a handwritten document was actually hers. The reception was similar to the one given Channel 4 Presenter Lindsay Hilsum. A gun toting Albanian security guard aggressively tries to send her away but is soon out of his depth and has to call on MEK members to try to get rid of the journalist. MEK claimed that Fiks Fare had threatened Somayeh. Unfortunately for MEK the journalists had recorded the entire conversation.

++ Gazeta Shqiptare published a piece ‘Answering the defamations of Margarita Kola and the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq (MEK) cult’ which exposes the politicised agenda of the MEK lawyer.

++ Somayeh was again brought in front of a camera inside the Manes camp to nervously read a pre-written statement. She was accompanied by MEK Commander Farid Toutonchi, whose real name is Mahoutchi. In a Balkans Web piece titled ‘Letter / Somayeh’s Iranian Father Calls on MEK member in Tirana: Let me meet my daughter’, Mostafa Mohammadi exposes this former tank driver who has blood on his hands from Iraq. In his letter, Mostafa makes the same demand as he has always made: bring my daughter to a public place where I and her mother can meet with her away from MEK minders and controllers. MEK’s only reply is to label everyone – from Mostafa to Lindsey Hilsum – ‘an agent of the Iranian regime’.

The shadowy cult Trump advisors tout as an alternative to the Iranian government

President Trump sees the Iran as America’s biggest enemy. And before assuming office, his National Security Advisor John Bolton said US policy should be regime change in Iran.

He and other Trump advisers have long touted a shadowy exiled cult as an alternative to the Iranian government. The Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) has had a very active propaganda wing for years, but now they have influence at the highest level. They also have a secretive camp in Albania, 30km from the capital, Tirana.

Canadian family asks Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare for help: “MEK mujahedeens took our daughter”

For the past 20 years, an Iranian family of Canadian citizenship have been trying to meet with their daughter, who joined the MEK when she was 16.

Today she is 38, but the parents still cannot meet her, although they have tried very hard and went through a lot of dangers to find her.

Mustafa Mohamadi and his wife addressed Fiks Fare for help regarding the situation that they are facing for the past two decades. They think that their daughter has been forced to become part of the organization.

“I and my family we haven’t been able to see Somaieh for the past 20 years. We have been living in Canada and our daughter lived with us until she was 16”, he said.

“We immigrated to Canada in 1994. The mujahedeens brainwashed her. She went to the Ashraf camp to fight the Iranian government. The mujahedeens had told us that my wife’s sister had been executed. My daughter had a very special connection to her aunt. When we were in Canada we used to help the Mujahedeen. We used to collect money for them every weekend. We knocked on doors asking for money to help them. Two years later, when my daughter was 16, a woman came to us in Canada. She was a member of MEK. She spoke to my daughter and told her she had met her aunt. She said she knew about the special relation they had. My daughter had tears in her eyes. She was invited to go to Iraq, to see where her aunt was staying. The mujahedeen member bought two tickets for two weeks. I agreed that she could go for two weeks”, says her father, Mustafa Mohammadi.

According to him, his daughter never came back after this. He and his wife have been asking for help for the past years, but no state institution has helped them.

They even say they received letters, signed by their daughter, asking US troops to intervene in Iraq and let her join her family. Those letters were sent to the Canadian embassy in Jordan, which sent them to Canada.

After this report, Fiks Fare made an inquiry at the MEK organization through an official e-mail. They asked information if Somaihe was at the Manza camp, in Albania. They also requested a meeting with the girl.

The journalists didn’t receive any official answer. They went to the Manza camp to try and meet the MEK representatives. After many attempts, MEK finally responded with an open letter, declaring that Fiks Fare had threatened Somaihe and the members of the Manza Camp. But Fiks Fare has recorded the entire conversation, which makes it clear that the journalists are asking for official information, based on the law.

Fiks Fare asked for an interview, after obtaining the letters signed by Somaihe Mohammadi, who has demanded to meet with her family in Canada on October 17th, 2014.

Today, in a press release, Somaihe refused to meet her parents and called them agents of the Iranian regime. She also confirmed that she was staying with MEK on her free will.

Let me meet my daughter

Farid Totounchi (Real name: Mahoutchi) Commander of Saddam’s Private army forcing Somayeh Mohammadi to do a “Forced confession” session in Terror camp in Albania

A day after 38-year-old Somayeh Mohammadi, a member of the MEK group which opposes the so-called Iranian regime and who publicly accused her father of being a Tehran spy, the father reacted. Through a letter to Balkanweb’s editorial office, Mostafa Mohammadi states that his daughter is held hostage by the MEK group leaders in Tirana. He points to one of the members of the MEK group in Tirana, who is called Farid Toutonchi. Among other things he writes:

“I call you the name you registered with in Albania, but your original name is Farid Mahoutchi. In Albania you are known as one of the top executives of the Mojahedin propaganda office, while in Iraq you were the commander of Tank Division 4, otherwise known as the Karun Division whose task was fighting against Iran, Arabs and rebels Kurds who opposed the regime of Saddam Hussein. In Iraq you are wanted for crimes against humanity, but in Albania with the new name and the new identity you have taken, you appear as a media man.

Through this letter we want to thank you for the show that you made of our daughter Somayeh yesterday in the News 24 media. We want to thank you for finally not using Mr Namik Kopliku and not the lawyer Margarita Kola to show our daughter to the media. Fortunately, now that Somayeh’s hostage issue is becoming international, you finally decided to remove the mask and come out in front of the television cameras.

LETTER

In your recent statement that your organization made against the British Channel 4 television company, among other things you attacked the UK government. You attacked the British Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, as well as attacking many journalists, lawyers, and other people who are interested in the issue of Somayeh. With the follies that only you know how to fabricate, you implicate the British government along with the Iranian government in a conspiracy against your terrorist cult. After you have beaten and threatened journalists and lawyers, cried for the Albanian government to protect you from Iran’s “terrorists”, after you have persuaded the Albanian government to close the borders to Iranian families who want to meet and save their children from your jihad, after you paid Albanians to distribute your tracts and scams in the media, finally you have come out yourself in front of the television. This is a great achievement.

In the media statement that our daughter Somayeh read in your presence, she reiterated the allegations and defamations you have made against our family for several years. Our fearful and radicalized daughter accused us of being Iranian agents sent to Albania by Iran and other idiocy that only the sick minds of Maryam Rajavi’s terrorists know to create. You made this shameful parade with our daughter whom you’ve kept hostage for 21 years. You deceived our daughter to leave Canada and left her without a family, no husband or child, no education and no future, and keep her in reserve as a terrorist for Maryam Rajavi and her war against Iran.

Commander Farid Mahoutchi, with the appearance before the media of our radicalized daughter, brainwashed and scared, and the media who have agreed to play your game and do not ask the questions that need to be asked, you have proven once again that our daughter is held hostage by your defunct terrorist organization. According not only to international human rights organization experts, but also Canadian media, there are several hundred people in your organization like Somayeh who are being held hostage. Those people at whom you chant and tell them that their parents are enemies and Iranian agents to be killed, are living in total isolation. They are not allowed to communicate with their families and are muddled by ideas of radical jihad and violent extremism.

Our daughter, reading the text written by the Mujahideen command, which was performed under your supervision, made the situation sound very frightening. Our daughter’s confession that her parents are Iranian agents and because of that she will not talk to us is similar to the confessions that ISIS hostages made in front of cameras in the presence of jihadist commanders who killed and executed those hostages. You did this too Mahoutchi / Toutonchi. In Syria there were many radicalized ISIS people who killed their parents. This is what you also intend to do Mahoutchi / Toutonchi. You have radicalized and alienated our daughter from her family and made her see us as enemies. You have removed our daughter from Canadian civilization and democracy and kept her as a soldier in your jihadist camp in Manza waiting to perform jihad against Iran. With your radical and violent extremist ideas, you have turned our daughter into a controlled and fearful robot who cannot love her mother and father, who rejects Canada and democracy and agrees to live as a suicide bomber for Maryam Rajavi to make war and jihad against Iran.

Commander Farid Mahoutchi, because you are the main hostage holder of our daughter and together with the fearsome commander and torturer Behzad Saffari, you are the two key persons who control our daughter in Albania and who threaten and violate journalists and who beat me in Tirana a few weeks ago, I’m boldly looking for a favor.

Is it possible for you to bring our daughter for just an hour to meet her mother, Mahbubeh, who is in Tirana, since I, according to you, am an Iranian agent and I have to be killed by MEK? All the enmity you are creating by attacking and threatening Albanian journalists, lawyers, beating me and accusing us of being Iranian agents, inventing agents and alienation between Albania and Iran, accusing the British government of conspiracy against you with Iran, blackmailing Albanian public opinion that Iran wants to kill you, etc., can be solved very simply.

Bring Somayeh into a public space. Let Somayeh meet for an hour alone with her mother, without your presence and the other jihadists who surround her. Trust Somayeh to live for an hour without the presence of your jihadist commanders, so that she, like all other children in the world, can meet her parents. We will not eat Somayeh. We will not take Somayeh to Iran. We will not turn her against MEK. We will simply appeal to our daughter to abandon jihad and terrorism and come with us to Canada. We know that this means one fewer self-sacrificing fighter for you, but you must let this happen if you want the democratic world to respect and see you as a democratic opposition rather than jihadist hijackers.

Can Commander Farid Mahoutchi do this little thing? We know that our daughter, who was kidnapped as a minor from Toronto, is kept as a sleeping suicide-bomber for the terrible jihad that you dream of performing against Iran one day. You as a tank commander, you have blood-stained hands, and Somayeh looks to you like a suicide bomber for the war you dream of one day.

But we, as her parents, who have been in Albania since July 5, 2018, who are going to the police and taking you to court, who you are beating and reviling as agents and terrorists, we only want one thing: to meet our daughter.

Commander Farid Mahoutchi, you should know that while the Albanian state tolerates you keeping hundreds of isolated and radicalized hostages in your camp in Manza, beating and threatening journalists and lawyers, blaming and defaming foreign governments etc, the international community sooner or later will condemn what you are doing. Somayeh is a hurricane that will severely damage you in the eyes of the world. You cannot keep hostages in Europe. Albania is not Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and you cannot behave like tank drivers and terrorists here. The threats you and Commander Behzad Saffari and others are making against Albanian and foreign journalists will not easily be forgotten. Europe cannot be intimidated by your terrorism and threats, and in no way accepts hostages and jihad.

We, Somayehs’ parents, that you have held hostage for 21 years, we have only one request. Let us meet our daughter! If you understand the minimum of civilization and democracy you have to do this! Do not behave like jihadists and criminals!

Mostafa Mohammadi and Mahbubeh Hamza
