Canada a safe hub for MKO terrorists!

The Islamic Republic of Iran has warned Canada not to turn into a hub and a safe place for terrorists, which may jeopardize social security in that country.Canada a safe hub for MKO terrorists!

According to IRIB World Service, Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement today and said the irresponsible act by the Canadian government is in contrary to the host country’s commitment to protect Iranian nationals residing in Canada and also in terms of safeguarding assets of Iranian government, referring to possible acts of violence and terror by MKO on Canadian soil.

The statement read that at a time when the international community and the world public opinion talked of terrorist as a main problem in the world and have drawn up certain commitments and obligations concerning campaign against such phenomenon, the ruling Canadian government has removed the name of terrorist outfit MKO from its list of terrorist groups.

The Iranian foreign ministry pointed out that with such a move, there would be no change in the terrorist nature of this grouplet, reminding that manipulation of terrorism, is in fact an open violation of internationally accepted commitments and also a dangerous attempt which may damage peace and international security.

In continuation of hostile policies toward Iran, the government of Canada on Thursday removed the name of MKO from its list of terrorist groups.

Rajavi’s Slip of Tongue

Rajavi means to say anti-human when she says anti-terrorist

Many might be taken aback to hear that a notorious terrorist cult takes a sudden step forward to announce it is “the most anti-terrorist movement in the world” after one or two countries decide toRajavi means to say anti-human when she says anti-terrorist ignore their hot chants of combating terrorism just for political causes none of which serves the interests of their nations. It is bitter but, alas, we hear it from the mouth of a hallucinated terrorist ring-leader.

Maryam Rajavi, occupying the leading throne of Mojahedin Khalq Organization MKO/MEK/PMOI/NCR in the absence of her husband whose whereabouts are unknown for the present, in a statement just following MKO’s drop from Canada’s list of terrorist entities stated: “Labeling the PMOI a terrorist organization marked an enormous aberration in combating terrorism. The designation of the most anti-terrorist and anti-fundamentalist movement in the world only emboldened the real terrorists and the godfather of terrorism and fundamentalism, namely the dictatorship ruling Iran”.

Expect for a variety of speculations, there is no clear cut answer to the question of why advocates of combating terrorism have made a sudden U-turn to move against the current. But, there is an undeniable fact that MKO maintains the characteristics of a terrorist cult even if removed from any list. In a testimony before the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations on July 7, 2011, Ray Takeyh says that MKO can neither abandon terrorism nor is commitment to democracy neither in deed nor word:

“Terror has always been a hallmark of MEK’s strategy for assuming power. Through much of its past, the party exulted violence as a heroic expression of legitimate dissent. One of the central precepts of the party is that a highly-dedicated group of militants could spark a mass revolution by bravely confronting superior power of the state and assaulting its authority. Once, the masses observe that the state is vulnerable to violence, than they will shed their inhibitions and join the protest, thus sparking the larger revolution. Thus, the most suitable means of affecting political change is necessarily violence. Although in its advocacy in Western capitals, the MEK emphasizes its commitment to democracy and free expression, in neither deed nor word has it forsworn it violent pedigree.”

Emboldened by the illogicality of decisions, a terrorist leader makes an easy step to announce that the world has been wrong so far to label an anti-terrorist group a terrorist one. However, to give a better interpretation of her phrase, many consider it Rajavi’s slip of tongue and read it as anti-human. That is to say, she means to say anti-human when she says anti-terrorist. The existing problem now is the destiny of the group’s members rather than its name on the list. The relevant fact overlooked is the fate of its members. The removal of MKO from any terrorist list in no way helps to end the plights of its members long enslaved against their will. If these countries that delist MKO really believe in the soundness of their decisions, then, the best complimentary deed to end a humanitarian task is to accept a few of the members living in limbo in a cult state and in Iraq.

Mr. Per Westerberg the honorable speaker of Riksdagen or Sveriges riksdag) , the national legislative assembly and the supreme decision-making body in the Kingdom of Sweden and the distinguished members of Riksdag

We are a group of the former members of people’s mujahedin organization of Iran (MEK, MKO, Former MEK members offer witness over Kurdish massacresRajavi’s cult) who have succeeded to rescue ourselves from the physical and mind barriers of pmoi after 20-25 years of membership in this notorious organization.

We are currently living in different European countries such as France, Netherlands, Germany and …….).

We got informed that the members of Riksdag (the national legislative assembly and the supreme decision-making body in the Kingdom of Sweden) in a humanitarian move have condemned the massacre of Kurds by MEK.

Mr. Per Westerberg and the honorable and distinguished members of Riksdag,

We had all witnessed the crime perpetrated by pmoi in Iraq in 1991. we had witnessed the suppression and massacre of Kurds in Iraq which happened by the direct order of the leaders of MEK, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi . Mrs. Maryam Ghajar Azdanlo ( Maryam Rajavi) had ordered directly through the military transmitters to the MEK military units quote **squash the Kurds under your tanks and armored vehicles and save your ammunitions and bullets for the border and Iranian soil for killing the Iranian soldiers **. This brutal and inhumane order was broadcast by Maryam Rajavi own voice through the military transmitters and after that the Kurds who began uprising against the Saddam Hussein’s government were crushed out and suppressed brutally by MEK army, NLA( National Liberation Army) in favor of the Iraqi dictator , Saddam Hussein in Iraq’s Kurdish areas such as Kafri, Touz Khormato, Ghareh Tapeh, Ghasreh Shirin and …………..etc.

Mr. Per Westerberg and the honorable and distinguished members of Riksdag,

We, after the separation from this terrorist organization (MEK, mko, Rajavi’s cult) with sectarian and cultic internal affaires led and run by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi , have decided to reveal and disclose all the crimes perpetrated by this notorious and dangerous organization to stop this organization from further crime and killing .

We are urging you to give us the opportunity and permission to reveal and divulge the crimes perpetrated by MEK in face to face meeting with you and the honorable members of Riksdag in your assembly and inform you more about those crimes in details .

We know that some of the MEK terrorist members are active in your country and there are many documents and evidence which show that the MEK have been supporting them covertly and use them to attack its dissidents and opponents in France and other European countries.

We are eagerly waiting for your positive response to our request and we assure you that our face to face meeting will help you a lot to know more about this terrorist organization and also it will be a reliable source for the security of your country and Europe.

Respectfully
The former members of MEK

Human Rights Abuse in the MEK

MKO Ringleaders Abuse Female Members Sexually

Those female members of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) who were residing in Camp Ashraf, the former training center of the group in Iraq, were abused by the MKO ringleaders sexually, a defected member revealed on Monday.

According to a report by Ashraf News website, Zahra Sadat Mir-Baqeri, one of the defected leaders of the MKO, said that she has some information about the sexual abuse of female members by the main ringleader of the terrorist group, Massoud Rajavi.

"Rajavi abused women in the Camp Ashraf sexually and there is a list of 100 young girls and women who had gone under surgical operations to be raped by Rajavi," she said.

Mir-Baqeri said that the surgical operations were carried out to take out the victims’ wombs so that they would not be pregnant after being raped by Rajavi. This is while they were falsely told that they needed surgical operations for being infected with anemia or kidney problems.

Earlier, a human rights group expressed deep concerns about the deteriorating conditions of over 3,000 members of the MKO who are under torture and harassment by the leaders of the group in Camp Ashraf in Northern Iraq.

In March 2011, another defected member of the MKO revealed that the female members of the group have been living under captivity for more than 25 years and are not even allowed to appear in public places alone.

"It can be firmly said that 95% of the women in Ashraf Camp (the terrorist group’s resort in Iraq) have not even been allowed to step in Iraq’s public and recreational places alone all throughout the last 25 years," the defected member said.

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the grouplet are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly-established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who argued for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

The US formally removed the MKO from its list of terror organizations in early September, one week after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent the US Congress a classified communication about the move. The decision made by Clinton enabled the group to have its assets under US jurisdiction unfrozen and do business with American entities, the State Department said in a statement at the time.

In September 2012, the last groups of the MKO terrorists left Camp Ashraf, their main training center in Iraq’s Diyala province. They have been transferred to Camp Liberty which lies Northeast of the Baghdad International Airport.

Camp Liberty is a transient settlement facility and a last station for the MKO in Iraq.

NO EXIT An Investigative Documentary on MKO

NO EXIT An investigative documentary, showing how the Mujahedin Khalgh Organization (MKO,MEK, Rajavi cult) treated its members

… An investigative documentary, showing how the Mujahedin Khalgh Organization (MEK) treated its members and the efforts made by the members to escape … Research suggests that most of the MeK rank-and-file are neither terrorists nor freedom fighters, but trapped and brainwashed people who would be willing to return to Iran if they were separated from the MeK leadership. Many members were lured to Iraq from other countries with false promises, only to have their passports confiscated by the MeK leadership, which uses physical abuse, imprisonment, and other methods to keep them from leaving …

Victims of terrorism slam Canada for delisting MKO

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) in Middle East has condemned Canada’s decision to remove the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) from its blacklist of terrorist Victims of terrorism slam Canada for delisting MKOgroups.

"The MKO cult has a long record in terrorist activities, including the assassination of 12,000 Iranian citizens, seven American citizens, and tens of thousands of Iraqi nationals," the association wrote in a letter to the Canadian government on Saturday.

The letter stressed that the MKO continues to use sabotage and terrorism to achieve its objectives.

Planning attacks on Iranian embassies in 13 European countries in 2003, self-immolation of ten MKO members in protest to the arrest of their cult leader Maryam Rajavi by French police on money laundering charges, and plotting terrorist attacks also in 2003, all attest to the terrorist nature of the MKO, the letter continued.

“This cult, considering its communist and extremist approach, can pose a serious threat to Western citizens, particularly Canadians.”

The Canadian government removed MKO from its official list of terrorist organizations on Thursday. Ottawa’s move to delist the MKO terrorist group followed similar moves by the United States and the European Union.

The MKO fled to Iraq in 1986, where it enjoyed the support of Iraq’s executed dictator Saddam Hussein, and set up its camp near the Iranian border.

The group is known to have cooperated with Saddam in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and carrying out the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

The MKO has carried out numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials.

MEK involvement in massacre of Kurds on record

Open letter to the Chairperson of the Swedish Parliament

Greetings,
MEK involvement in massacre of Kurds on record
In a brave and humanitarian move, the Swedish Parliament passed a resolution on 5 December, 2012 acknowledging the massacre of Kurdish people. We as members of the Iran Pen Association salute this decision by the Swedish Parliamentarians and ask you to set up further investigations and research into the disastrous killings of Kurds, so that more people around the world would learn and realize how badly the Kurds have suffered under tyranny and therefore; similar atrocities against them in future could be prevented.

Among the ruling regimes in the Region which have suppressed the Kurdish people, the Iraq’s ousted dictator Saddam Hussein had committed the most savage crimes. Especially, by the chemical bombardment of the town of Halabche and later by attacking the Kurds with heavy weapons and artillery, tanks and missiles when they rose up against Saddam’s despotic rule at the end of the Kuwait War. In fact, it was in this very brutal war against the Kurds that Saddam Hussein used the Iranian group of PMOI/MEK armed forces to savagely suppress the Kurds’ uprising and widespread massacres followed.

We, the writers of this letter, are from Iran Pen Association in Europe that consists of defectors from this Iranian group PMOI/MEK led by Masoud Rajavi. Our activities include Human Rights promotion and helping Iranian refugees. The majority of us have each spent more than twenty years inside Rajavi’s cult in Iraq and each one of us is a living witness and has abundant experience and knowledge of the PMOI/MEK leadership (Masoud and Maryam Rajavi), its cult nature, terrorist activities and its rule of terror, deceit and humiliation inside the Organization and also its grave involvement in massacre of Iraqi Kurds. After the brutal suppression of the Kurds, Masoud Rajavi told his followers in a meeting in Iraq that Saddam’s deputy, Ezat Ibrahim, had personally hailed and thanked him for the killing of the Kurds and putting down their uprising. Furthermore, in video tapes discovered of meetings between Masoud Rajavi and General Haboush (the chief of Saddam’s secret Inteligence Service), Haboush thanked Rajavi for suppressing the Kurds and told Rajavi that he was then considered as a member of Saddam’s Baath Party leadership. In those days of waging war against the Iraqi Kurds, Maryam Rajavi ordered the PMOI/MEK armed forces to “run over the Kurds by tanks”.

The truth and reality is that due to the religious-cult nature of the PMOI/MEK, the extent and depth of its crimes in and outside the Cult, including its involvement in bloody massacre of Kurds; has still mainly remained uncovered and untold. Therefore; in order to shed light on Rajavi’s involvement in killings of the Kurds in Iraq during Saddam’s era, we are ready and willing to provide you with witnesses and documentation for this cause.

With best wishes for Christmas and a New Year of Peace and Freedom.

Yours sincerely,
Iran Pen Association

17 MKO members defect from terrorist group, reports say

A group of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) members have reportedly defected from the terrorist group as internal dissensions intensify within the MKO. 17 MKO members defect from terrorist group, reports say

At least 17 MKO members have fled Camp Liberty near the Iraqi capital of Baghdad so far in December.

They have requested UN officials in Baghdad to help them leave Iraq and seek asylum in a European country.

A former MKO member, speaking on condition of anonymity, said he managed to escape from the former US military base near Baghdad International Airport on December 5, despite strict measures and tight controls on the movements of all MKO terrorists.

The MKO fled to Iraq in 1986, where it enjoyed the support of Iraq’s former dictator Saddam Hussein, and set up its camp near the Iranian border.

The group is known to have cooperated with Saddam in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and carrying out the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

Canada drops MEK from list of terror groups

Move to delist Mujahedeen-e-Khalq follows similar decisions by US and EU

Canada’s government said Thursday that it has removed an Iranian opposition group once allied with Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi regime from its official list of terrorist organizations.

The government’s move to delist Mujahedeen-e-Khalq, or MEK, follows similar moves by the United States and the European Union.

The MEK, a small, armed exile group, has said it wants to replace Tehran’s clerical regime with a secular government through peaceful means.

The MEK, also known as the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, carried out a series of bombings and assassinations against Iran’s regime in the 1980s and fought alongside Saddam’s forces in the Iran-Iraq war. But the group says it renounced violence in 2001.

The United States noted when delisting the Paris-based group in September that the MEK had not engaged in terrorism for more than a decade.

Any person or group on Canada’s terrorist list may have their assets seized, and there are criminal penalties for assisting organizations that are on the list.

Critics of the MEK say it has cult-like characteristics and that delisting it would be seen even by moderate Iranians as an endorsement of terrorism.

Maryam Rajavi, the group’s leader, welcomed the decision.

“The designation of the most anti-terrorist and anti-fundamentalist movement in the world only emboldened the real terrorists and the godfather of terrorism and fundamentalism, namely the dictatorship ruling Iran,” she said in a statement.

Canada’s Blind Obedience to British Foreign Policy

Iranian MP Deplores Canada’s Blind Obedience to British Foreign Policy

A prominent member of the Iranian parliament censured Canadian officials for their blind support and obedience to Britain’s foreign policies, particularly in dealing with Iran’s issues. Canada's Blind Obedience to British Foreign Policy

"The Canadian government is not an independent government and all its measures are rooted in the British government’s moves," member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Saleh Jokar said Saturday.

He said Canada implements decisions made by the British government and follows up the UK in all fields, particularly in foreign policy.

On December 2o, the Canadian government announced that it has removed the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) from its official list of terrorist organizations.

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).
