Sirous Morsalpour declares defection from the MKO

Mr. Sirous Morsalpour who recently succeeded to leave the Mujahedin Khalq Organization declared his defection from the group in the following statement:

Dear countrymen
I am Sirous Morsalpour. I was deceived by the MKO’s propaganda uproar and joined the group at Camp Ashraf, in 2004.

I declare that I left the group because of the reasons coming below. May you judge what I went through.

I got shot in my stomach in both incidents in June2009 and April 2012 at Camp Ashraf. I seriously needed surgery.

Although I could have had surgery outside Ashraf, I was not allowed to go to the hospital [outside the Camp] to have surgery. They suggested unfounded reasons including the transfer to Camp Liberty. Some of my ex-friends also had similar health problems and they were permitted to be surgeried in the hospital. So I asked them to send me to liberty but they unreasonably declined.
Discrimination in treating me and lack of trusting me became an extra suffering to my health problem. When I insisted on going for the surgery I was told that I was fired. They handed me to Iraqi Police to get rid of me,

Sirous Morsalpour

Is the US Lobbying for the Settlement of MKO?

American is lobbying for the transfer of MKO’s elements to five Arab allies

It is not exactly clear why certain MKO-run websites are making sorts of suppositions about an American is lobbying for the transfer of MKO’s elements to five Arab alliesongoing American lobbying for the transfer of MKO’s terrorist elements to five friendly nations and allies of America in the Middle East, namely Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Qatar and Pakistan. Although not verified, these countries are claimed to have agreed to a series of security and intelligence agreements with America. The remarkable point to refer is that almost all these countries share borders with Iran. Azerbaijan and Pakistan have common land borders with Iran while Saudi Arabia and Qatar share maritime borders. Jordan is also a country that has a common border with Syria.

Regardless of the accuracy of such suppositions, the bare truth is that, for certain reasons and a mutually reached security agreement, the US is doing its best to locate the members of MKO in third countries. The Western countries have already disagreed to accept a quota for these terrorist elements although the group is removed from the EU terrorist list. No other country members of the United Nation have so far have accepted to receive them on their soil. In his briefing to the UN Security Council on 10 April, Martin Kobler, Special Representative of the Secretary-General, said that:

I reiterate my call to Members States to accept the residents of the Camp [Ashraf] in their countries. Now that UNHCR has begun its work, it is high time for the international community to accept eligible candidates and fund the relocation process. The support of the international community is urgently needed. I welcomed the joint UNHCR-UNAMI resettlement conference which took place in Geneva on 23 March. More than 30 Member States participated. However, no country, has committed to accept residents. A donor’s appeal meeting also took place the same day seeking to raise 39 million USD fund for the Ashraf project. Only one Member State made a concrete pledge and this falls far behind what we had hoped. Without international support, the process cannot succeed.

Then the undisputed fact is that no country in the West risks to receive bunches of terrorists on their soil under any humanitarian or other causes. The only choice remained are some middle-Eastern countries over whom the US has a hegemonic influence as his allies. And of course, if any of them might ever welcome such an imposed offer, it would be because of the promises and guarantees that the US will have to fulfill.

However, Rajavi is not unwilling to leave Iraq as well since he has no other choice but to submit to the decisiveness of the Iraqi government to expel the group. But for some reasons he prefers to be settled in one of the countries in the region rather than moving to a Western country. In general, in the West there exists no promising future for the political-organizational survival of the group. Rajavi knows well that his organization is regarded in the West as a group that still carries potential and active threats. He has the previous experience of a short span settlement in France; soon he came to understanding that he could not parry the blows of a capitalist and bourgeois society and found that the sole alternative was to move to Iraq to survive. The settlement in Ashraf was like the injection of a new life into the group.

There in Iraq, Ashraf was turned into a cult bastion with all potentialities of a dangerous cult of personality run by the Rajavi couples. The formation of a Liberation Army added to the threatening might of the group through which a new wave of terrorist operations raged through Iran. In the eyes of a Western country the Ashraf residents are just the same members of the army that carry the very same threatening potentialities and for sure, none of them welcomes these “ready to launch missiles” as Rajavi refers to his forces.

Resettlement in any of the mentioned five countries much pleases Rajavi because proximity to Iranian borders is a precious advantage; still the group remains a military and espionage threat. Besides, it lingers as a ready-to-use tool in the case of any American or Israeli military option against Iran. It should be reminded that despite claims of denouncing terrorism, MKO through the past decade has been trying to win American’s favor by displaying its military and espionage potentiality. But regardless of this willingness, it is the other side of the coin that is of any importance, the Americans themselves. It means that the US under no condition accepts to take the organization to the West since it is aware of the possible consequences of such a transfer. Still it needs MKO and prefers to shelter and watch over it in lands far away but enough close at hand for the day to come.

Both America and MKO have come to realize that the group is actually useless and passive on Iraqi soil. The new Iraq is no more a tool in the hands of America, like Saddam, to be used against Iran. However, the US seems to be still under the illusion that MKO can be a bargaining chip in dealing with Iran and that is because it may have failed to have a proper analysis of a bankrupt group whose main struggle is to survive. The disadvantages of accepting MKO overweighs the advantages and hardly any country accepts the risk of housing it. Will any of the five mentioned countries let a terrorist group on its soil when another neighbor has menaced it with immediate expulsion? It is a question of logic and politics.

USA

Open letter to the President of USA , Mr. Barack Obama

Honorable President of USA , Mr. Barack Obama
Homayoon Kahzadi
Greetings

I , Homayoon Kahzadi , am the separated member of pmoi , Rajavi’s cult who had spent 15 years of my life in this cult(mko, pmoi,Rajavi’s cult). Today I am very happy and joyful that I can write such a letter to you in the free world in support of my friends who are still in Rajavi’s cultic captivity.

Mr. President

An Iranian proverb says, ¨ when a member of a body is hurt by time, the other members will react¨

Since I have experienced a very harsh and terrifying ordeal in Ashraf garrison and since I have tolerated many severe tortures and prisons in Rajavi’s cult and since I have seen and observed many cruelty and bloodshed by Rajavi’s cult so I as a reliable witness would like to draw your attention to the following subjects:

Any delay in the trial of pmoi leadership is inappropriate and unacceptable because the presence of this cult in European countries is much more dangerous than explosion of an atomic bomb and I urge you not to allow them to expand their terrorist activities in your country as well as European countries .

Being silent in front of such terrorist and cutthroat cult which is not committed to any international regulations and rules of law, is considered as humane behavior?

Closing eyes upon their terrorist past and the breach of human rights by them (by invoking to the human rights watch report) is not like training and breeding a deadly and poisonous snake by our hands?

Have you thought seriously about the consequences of mujahedin terrorist cult and their activities?

The leadership of mujahedin’s cult has perpetrated awful deeds ranging from terrorism and assassination to money laundering and schematizing among parties and interfering in other countries affaires , for instance;

Fake and false propaganda and flashy vote of a court of law in Spain against the Iraq prime minister which does not have any lawful prestige among other countries for instance:

The Ashraf scuffles which has been carried out by the direct order of Rajavi , they pretend that those scuffles are US fault. I draw your attention to the following topics which the pmoi leadership have issued them in their Media:

Maryam Rajavi’s speech (after the representative’s speech in the US congress hearing session)

From now on the responsibility of any blood which is shed in Ashraf, is on USA and the Iranian resistance is no longer ready to negotiate about the relocation of Ashraf residents inside Iraq.¨

The Rajavi’s cult site, the article written by Manochehr Hezarkhani by the title ¨ An intermediate for US plan¨:

¨ I do not know when the European representatives see this badger ambassador, how they feel¨

The Rajavi’s cult site has published an article by the title¨ Ashraf camp the criteria of sincerity in US idiotic policy ¨ which is written by Sanabargh Zahedi one of the cult members .

Mr. President

This cult which has not left Iraq yet, has begun straggling with principals and policies of other countries, wait and see while they reach to European and American countries, what they will do!

The ringleaders of this cult have issued the death decree and harassment of all separated members and their dissidents and opponents throughout the world and they threaten the family of those captives who want to see their loved ones and they insult the Iraqi government by calling them names such as mercenary and traitor.

Yes there is no trust on wolves , so I urge you to confine this terrorist cult by all means and stop all their activities which ends up to violence and bloodshed and surrender the cult ringleaders to the justice .

Respectfully
Homayoon Kahzadi, Yaran Association, Paris

Mujahedin Khalq Organization as a terrorist group

WAIS member: MEK always remain a tool for terrorism

A member of the World Association of International Studies at Stanford University describes terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK and PMOI) as a cult which “will always WAIS member: MEK always remain a tool for terrorismremain a tool for terrorism.”

Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich, member of the World Association of International Studies, told Habilian on Tuesday that undoubtedly “the cult (Mujahedin-e Khalq) will always remain a tool for terrorism.”

She went on to say, “The one thing the Empire (the U.S.) and its boss, Israel, does not want, is stability”, since “a stable country can be unified against outside enemies.”

Referring to terrorist acts perpetrated by MKO in both Iran and Iraq, Sepahpour-Ulrich added, “The MEK have proven themselves as ruthless killers be it in Iraq, Iran, or elsewhere.”

Over 12000 of Iranians, including some 70 high-ranking officials have been brutally killed in MKO terrorist operations since the early years of Islamic Revolution. They have also slaughtered over 25000 Iraqi civilians in return for receiving money and arms from Iraqi executed dictator.

“They are even more useful now than before – any terrorist act carried out by them, will easily be pinned on Iranians,” she added.

Report Discloses Training of MKO Terrorists by Britain

Britain is part of a covert operation in the Middle-East to train Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) terrorists for operations against Iran. Report Discloses Training of MKO Terrorists by Britain

The American Free Press website reported that western collusion to train terrorists to target Iranian scientists and officials, that Britain has been part of covert operations in the Middle East to train MKO terrorists.

"MKO fighters have also been trained at secret Middle-East sites by special forces teams from Britain, the US and Israel and have been supplied at US taxpayer expense with state-of-the-art weaponry and surveillance gear. In particular, the terror cells planning the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists were taught to use small explosive packages normally reserved for American and Israeli special forces," the report said.

Earlier in March, a number of former US officials in a conference in Paris called on Washington to use the MKO to attack the Islamic Republic.

In a conference in Paris, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani suggested that the United States should use the MKO to militarily attack Iran’s nuclear program.

The MKO, whose main stronghold is in Iraq, is blacklisted by much of the international community, including the United States.

Before an overture by the EU, the MKO was on the European Union’s list of terrorist organizations subject to an EU-wide assets freeze. Yet, the MKO puppet leader, Maryam Rajavi, who has residency in France, regularly visited Brussels and despite the ban enjoyed full freedom in Europe.

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the camp are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

Leaders of the group have been fighting to shed its terrorist tag after a series of bloody anti-Western attacks in the 1970s, and nearly 30 years of violent struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In recent years, high-ranking MKO members have been lobbying governments around the world in the hope of acknowledgement as a legitimate opposition group.

The UK initiative, however, prompted the European Union to establish relations with the exiled organization now based in Paris. The European Court of First Instance threw its weight behind the MKO in December and annulled its previous decision to freeze its funds.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

U.S. Training MEK Terrorists to Kill Iranians

Just like his predecessor, President George W. Bush, Barack Obama and his Israeli allies are working together to train foreign terrorists—sometimes even in the United States—to U.S. Training MEK Terrorists to Kill Iraniansassassinate Iran’s scientists and military leaders, while talking loudly about diplomacy and a desire to negotiate with Tehran.

The most startling revelations about the secret war against Iran, now almost a decade in the making, have centered on a Bush-Cheney policy set in motion in 2003. According to journalist U.S. Training MEK Terrorists to Kill IraniansSeymour Hersh, the policy authorized the use of a classified military site in the Nevada desert for the training of selected fighters from the Mujahideen e-Khalq (MEK).

Before and after the collapse of the Saddam Hussein regime, the MEK had thousands of anti-Iranian fighters in a camp north of Baghdad. MEK leaders promoted a leftist philosophy and called for the overthrow of the Iranian regime. Under Saddam’s protection, the group helped his forces murder thousands of Kurds in northern Iraq. It also maintained links to Europe, with offices in Paris, but more significantly it had ties to Israel’s Mossad and the CIA.

Bush and Cheney saw advantage in using MEK to attack targets in Iran. At the Nevada site, and also in an undisclosed Israeli facility, MEK fighters were trained in the arts of assassination, bombing and surveillance. And they were not the only terrorists given training. Members of Jundullah, a Sunni group based in Pakistan and linked to the Taliban, were flown to Nevada with Iranian Kurds specially selected by Mossad. In effect, Washington was running a terrorist camp on U.S. soil—just a few years after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.

While it is impossible to know how long the training of terrorists continued in Nevada, or if it is still happening somewhere on U.S. soil, there is no doubt that Obama and Netanyahu have expanded their covert war against Iran. There are even reports U.S. Special Forces have been running missions in Iran until foreign terrorists are ready to take their place.

MEK fighters have also been trained at secret Middle East sites by Special Forces teams from Britain, the U.S. and Israel and have been supplied at U.S. taxpayer expense with state-of-the-art weaponry and surveillance gear. In particular, the terror cells planning the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists were taught to use small explosive packages normally reserved for American and Israeli Special Forces.

Recently, the secret war took on a political dimension when leaked diplomatic cables revealed that Japanese diplomat, Yukiya Amano, who now heads the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAE ), had assured Washington before his appointment to the IAEA that he is “solidly behind” an anti-Iran policy. Senior nuclear experts believe he has not only backed poor Israeli intelligence on Iran but has adopted a pro-Washington stance.

But not all has gone well with Obama and Netanyahu’s terror plans. Iran’s intelligence apparatus recently rolled up a foreign terrorist network that was preparing to carry out bombings and assassinations. Initial evidence indicates the terrorists had been trained over the past decade by Israel and its anti-Iran allies.

MKO runs advert for equipment at Camp Ashraf

Barred from carrying their stuff gathered during 25 years of illegitimate presence in Iraq to Camp Liberty, terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK and PMOI) took action to sell them in Baghdad.

According to a report published by Habilian Foundation website, MKO ran a newspaper ad in Thursday’s edition of Al-Mashriq, a Baghdad daily, for the equipment at Camp Ashraf most of which they have received from Saddam in exchange for their services.

The display ad contains a list of equipment such as engineering tools, heating and cooling systems of large rooms, different types of vehicles including passenger cars, trucks, and buses, generators, kitchen utensils, professional audio and video systems, industrial workshop equipment, medical and hospital equipment, and a variety of printing equipment. An email address is also given for those who are willing to purchase the items.

The action took place, while Iraqi authorities assert that all the equipment at Camp Ashraf belongs to Iraqi people.

MKO is known to have received millions of dollars in return for its services to the Iraqi executed dictator.

Rendell and Ridge: From “Militant” Labelers to Terrorist Enablers

A new chapter has been added to the shale gas industry’s eco-terrorism, counterinsurgency and psychological operations saga.

In March, NBC News investigative reporter Michael Isikoff revealed that many prominent U.S. public officials are on the payroll of the People’s Mujahedin of Iran (MEK), a group labeled by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization. These U.S. officials are lobbying hard to Rendell and Ridge: From “Militant” Labelers to Terrorist Enablersremove the MEK from the list.

Under U.S. Supreme Court precedent, after the recent Holder v. Humanitarian Law Project decision — a controversial decision itself — it is a federal crime to provide “material support” for a designated terrorist organization. But legal niceties are apparently of nil concern to those on the dole of the MEK, a list that includes several big name political figures, according to a report written by former Bush Administration attorney and RAND Corporation analyst Jeremiah Goulka. A sample is below:

•Former Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA)
•Former Gov. Tom Ridge (R-PA), who was also the former head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush
•Former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who was also a Republican primary candidate for President in 2008
•Former Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT), formerly the head of the Democratic National Committee and a Democratic primary candidate for President in 2004

Many other powerful people are on the bipartisan list, as well.

Rendell — as one example — received $160,000 on his MEK-funded speaking tour. He and others are now under a legal investigation and were issued a subpoena by the U.S. Department of Treasury for taking cash from a designated terrorist group.

Rendell and Ridge: From “Militant” Labelers to Terrorist Enablers
In the fall of 2010, while Ed Rendell was Governor and Tom Ridge was Strategic Advisor of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, the media discovered that Pennsylvania’s Office of Homeland Security (DHS) was monitoring and filing intelligence reports on citizens speaking out against the then nascent shale gas industry’s presence in the Marcellus Shale basin. In one bulletin, PA Homeland Security refers to “militants” and “environmental extremists” who dare to question the fossil fuel industry’s practices.

That incident came and went, with many believing it was an isolated incident. It wasn’t. Far from it, in fact.

PSYOPs, Insurgents, and “Eco-Terrorists” in the Marcellus and Eagle Ford
The industry was again caught red-handed in the fall of 2011 when DeSmogBlog, with the help of Earthworks’ activist Sharon Wilson, uncovered a bombshell story.

The short version: at an October 2011 Houston, TX conference for shale gas industry public relations professionals, PR flacks for gas industry corporations Range Resources and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation revealed that they utilize psychological warfare tactics on concerned stakeholders in the areas in which they are fracking, and that they see themselves fighting a counterinsurgency war against these stakeholders, who in this fight are viewed as “an insurgency.”

Then in February, The Public Herald reported that, during an August 2011 team reporting trip at Tioga State Forest in Troy, PA, some of its journalists were accused by Seneca Resources truck drivers as being “trespassing eco-terrorists.” That’s ironic given that Tioga is a public park operated by PA’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Seneca proceeded to threaten to detain these journalists without legal authority to do so and also attempted to seize the camera of The Herald‘s reporting crew.

The Herald stated in response,

“To be labeled as, or even associated with, an ecoterrorist is no small thing…Clearly, a need for government to protect the people within the United States from real acts of aggression or violence has been usurped by private interests when journalists, or the public, can be so easily labeled as ‘ecoterrorists.’”

There’s more. On February 28, The Washington Post reported that the FBI is labeling anti-fracking activists in Texas’ Eagle Ford shale basin, in the city of Denton, TX, as “eco-terrorists.”

“Even as environmental and animal rights extremism in the United States is on the wane, officials at the federal, state and local level are continuing to target groups they have labeled a threat to national security, according to interviews with numerous activists, internal FBI documents and a survey of legislative initiatives across the country,” wrote The Post.

The Hypocrisy Reeks
An insurgent, by definition in U.S. lexicon, is another name for a “terrorist.”

While citizens concerned about the impacts from fracking and reckless gas industry practices are being labeled “eco-terrorists” and “an insurgengy,” those responsible, directly or indirectly for having them labeled as such, are shilling on behalf of a State Department-designated terrorist organization.

The hypocrisy here reeks any way you slice it.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization's Propaganda System

Take MEK claims of Iran’s nuclear capability with a grain of salt

Alireza Jafarzadeh’s recent commentary ("Iran’snuclear genie is out of the bottle," April 16) is eerily reminiscent of the manipulations of Iraqi exile Ahmad Chalabi who shamelessly fed the US government false information with the express aim of advocating a military invasion of Iraq in Take MEK claims of Iran's nuclear capability with a grain of salt2003 in order to promote his own personal political and economic fortunes.

Just as Mr. Jafarzadeh openly sides with the exiled Iranian terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq, Mr. Chalibi lived in London while leading an umbrella Iraqi opposition group (the Iraqi National Congress) pushing for U.S. militaryintervention to overthrow Saddam Hussein’s regime. Among many illicit activities, including financial fraud, the INC provided gullible senior U.S. government officials and pundits with fabricated and bogus intelligence reports concerning Iraq’s (non-existent) WMD programs. Mr. Jafarzadeh’s unsubstantiated allegations from an exiled group with a self-serving political agenda stand in direct contrast to the official assessment of the U.S. intelligence community that Iran is not developing nuclear weapons.

Readers should beware of being duped yet again by those seeking another costly foreign intervention under false premises.
