Iraqi sheikhs have never backed MKO

Iraqi tribal sheikhs have never supported the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), the sheikh of Al-Birmani tribe said in a meeting with Habilian Association Secretary General.

Iraqi tribal sheikhs urge the government not to hesitate to expel the cult

A number of Iraqi tribal sheikhs from Baghdad, Maysan and Babil met Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, Habilain Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website reported.
“The MKO’s propaganda that they are supported by Iraqi sheikhs is totally a lie,” Sheikh Jawdat Kadhim insisted.

“All Iraqi people hate the MKO due to its cruel crimes,” he said, adding that the Saddam-allied MKO “massacres several people both in Iran and Iraq”.

Iraqi tribal sheikhs urge the government not to hesitate to expel the cult

“Saleh Al-Mutlaq, the pro-MKO MP, is so much hated by the Iraqi people that is cursed and condemned whenever he appears on Iraqi TVs,” Sheikh Jabr said.

“Saddam Hussein used the MKO intentionally to suppress Iraqi nation,” Sheikh Abul-Hussein Ghadhban said.

“Iraqi tribal sheikhs urge the government not to hesitate to expel the cult,” he insisted.

“All Iraqi groups, without any exception, whom I met, want the MKO’s expulsion from the country,” Habilain Association Secretary general said.

“Iraqi sheikhs have had a main role in identifying and removing the MKO’s line,” Hasheminejad insisted.

MEK Camp Ashraf

Camp Ashraf, preparing for the final battle

In contrast to the Iraqi Government’s reluctance to use violence to evacuate Camp Ashraf, the members of MKO, encouraged by their leaders, have warned that they will not be taken out alive.

That is to say, MKO has adopted a blind, antagonistic way of struggle against the preferably peaceful attempt by the Iraqis to end the increasingly tense stalemate with less bloodshed. Emboldened by its last July’s violent reaction against the Iraqi forces that left many casualties, MKO is preparing for further systematically organized defensive measures to defend its bastion against any similar move by the government. Although the terrorist and cultic nature of MKO well justifies speculations about its potentialities in application of violent and aggressive approaches, the assertions by the defectors is a given warning that the organization is busy preparing for a much bloody confrontation.

Stated by Alireza Fattahian, the defector who has recently managed to flee the terrorist cult, MKO has started a new round of training to bludgeon Ashraf residents into a bloody resistance and confrontation:

Hundreds of vehicles equipped with a variety of cameras are on a 24 hour patrol round the camp to announce red alert as soon as sensing any suspicious move. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays the members undergo self-defense trainings by using non-fire arms like knives and bow and arrows. The latter is so sophisticatedly made that easily penetrate any common protective jackets. They have also devised petrol-filled capsules wrapped in cloth that can be catapulted far away. Another creative weapon is a very sharp, short knife carried under clothes to be used in close man to man encounters. As there is an anchor rope that is used to pull away the forces. They have recently crafted a hand-grenade-like pack filled with wax-like material to stun whoever intends to harass their women members. They have prepared especial green, thick and shockproof military uniforms to ward off blows by the security forces. The trainings, started three months ago, begin from 6 in the morning to 12.

The disclosure that reveals only some aspects of MKO’s harsh defensive reaction against lawful measures to evacuate Ashraf has frustrated the group since it is recently engaged in a vast propaganda blitz to influence the public opinion and to show how it has been oppressed and victimized. No doubt, Ashraf is a crisis and tense stalemate the Iraqi Government has to deal with but it seems that it lacks the needed decisiveness and experience when coming to treat with an aggressive group like MKO. It is a proven fact that the more lenient it is toward the group to arrive at a peaceful solution the more aggressive and violent attitude the terrorists emit. The government’s withdrawal after the last July’s bloody clash with Ashraf residents, who demonstrated their potentialities in creating big crises through self-destructive practices, has emboldened them to strengthen for later encounters if the Iraqis ever dare.

In the interim, MKO anticipates that two outlooks will be possibly promising to reach a conclusion. First, to postpone, and if possible to wholly resolve, the issue of relocation and evacuation of Ashraf and second, to impose legal leverages on Iraqi authorities that, as Rajavi has reiterated, will be to the group’s advantages. At least the Iraqi Government, in its rather long tension with MKO, should have learnt that Rajavi never assents to any peaceful or moderate solution. But, does it mean that the tragic armageddon between the two is inevitable?

The answer can be either yes or no depending on the extent of the government’s cooperation with the defected members and benefitting their experiences that will be of advantage to it. Although the Iraqis have become familiar with some aspects of the terrorist cult, but to deal with a cult like MKO requires its own especial approaches since it is hard to evaluate the costs of encountering a terrorist cult that has already proved its potentialities in inflicting irreparable social damages and committing self-destructive activities.

Rajavi knows well that the closure of Ashraf is the beginning of its cult’s decline since nothing can guarantee what happens to the relocated members; it is the concentration of members and regular cultic instillations that ensures the integrity of the cult. The group needs a closed bastion under its own control so as not to wound the integrity of its central tenets that might cause permanent disillusionment and disintegration of the members. At the same time, it must sufficiently mute the active condemnation of internal and external critics and dissidents. Thus, a tragic end will be an inevitable solution which will put all costs on the Iraqi Government to hold it accountable for the bloods shed.

The Iraqi authorities must give serious considerations to the warnings of those who are detached from the body of the organization and can share valuable information and experiences. They have now the opportunity of taking advantage of the international supervising organizations and bodies as well as the media to fully control and watch the moves of MKO and its suspicious practices within the walls of Camp Ashraf before it is too late. At least, the public opinion, advocates of MKO and even the victims themselves will come to know who is the real responsible for any tragic event the organization is preparing to instigate at the ripe time.

Duplicity of the MEK nature

MKO’s opportunist attitude

MKO’s opportunist attitude:
Shifting to opposite interests

In November and December 1978, the press and news agencies published and spoke of the letter written by Senator Edward Kenedy to Ayatollah Khomeini, along with US efforts to release American hostages in their Embassy in Tehran.

Following the news, MEK publish an article ironically titled “Kenedy becomes a supporter of Islam!!” in their official journal “Mojahed”, attacking the American politician by the sub title :”behind the curtains of all conspiracies against Iran, the hands of huge imperialist capitalists, Kartels, trackers and corporations are covered.” [ Mojahed No.16 – P.9 ]

The article included some paragraphs of Kenedy’s letter quoting that he was “perfectly supporting the Islamic Republic.” MEK called it “hypocritical policy” and wrote :”…isn’t it surprising and even funny that an imperialist senator pretends himself as a supporter of Islamic Republic?…” [Mojahed No.16- P.16 ]

The same journal of MEK speaks of Senator Edward Kenedy as MEK’s supporter, who sends a message to Iranians residing in Massachusetts to invite them to attend the group’s demonstration in April, 1991; Appreciating Senator’s efforts for democratic changes in Iran. [Mojahed No.294- P.41]

In 1994, when the US State Department published a report on MEK and its terrorist Marxist background, NCRI (MEK’s political wing) tried to cleanse the accusation in a rush act claiming that the organization has never been in anti-US front especially during its 28-month political phase between February 1978 and June 1979 and even it had been in opposition to anti American movements!

In its arguments, MEK tried to appease US by putting the blame on dead movements like “Tude Party”(Communist Party) as an anti American Marxist group.

Regarding MEK’s background and testimonies and documents on the group’s attitudes and acts, one may consider two suppositions:”first, MEK’s interests and position in 1978 were those that were declared by them and what they are now trying hard to deny had in fact been existed.

Second, MEK’s today declarations are “meanly true” and the group has never been a serious, true anti US movement.

The first supposition results in this conclusion that MEK is going on a path that separates it more and more from the Iranians and pushes it more and more to a cult-like group. It has shifted its positions from an anti-imperialism movement to a beggar to White House and Pentagon’s support.”

In case that the second supposition is true, there will be another evidence for the hypocritical attitude of MEK.

Two terror groups join to create new organization

Text of report under "news shadow" section headlined "Forming a terrorist organization with convergence of Monafeqin [MKO] and Rigi" published by Iranian newspaper Jaam-e Jam on 26 January
Two terror groups ( Rajavi - Rigi ) join to create new organization
In continuation with Monafeqin [Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization] terrorist group’s support to Abdolmalek Rigi and the terrorist organization active under his group as National Resistance Movement, several meetings were held for mutual support and co-operations in Karachi and Islamabad. A number of MKO commanders and Abdolmalek Rigi himself participated in these meetings.

In these meetings, it was agreed to form a new group called the Iran Mojahedin Armed Forces [Niruha-ye Mosalleh Mojahedin-e Iran] with the help of Rigi’s terrorist group and the MKO, the Jahan News quoted the informed sources as reporting.

Meanwhile, there were reports from Pakistan that some Iraq-expelled MKO elements by contacting the absconding, bandits and anti-system groups in Pakistani regions, particularly in Karachi and Islamabad, are in pursuit of attracting forces [manpower] to form a new armed organization that may likely lead to the creation of this organization.

Similarly, following the occurrence of the recent street unrests in Iran and Monafeqin’s announcement of their readiness to launch operations in the country, the American forces in Iraq have taken fresh initiatives for providing training to some Monafeqin forces in different fields.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization's Propaganda System

MKO denies Fatah report

On January 21, 2010, Habilian Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website reported that the official website of the Voice of Palestine (Fatah Movement) would remove all news regarding the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO). The report also quoted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as saying “no MKO news should be reported by Palestinian media”.

However, following a week of silence, the MKO has just come to deny the report in an attempt to restore its face.

In order to unveil the lies of the terrorist cult, Habilian Association cites the link and photo of the news item on the Fatah website itself:

MKO fundraising for Haiti ?

Following the disastrous earthquake in Haiti, Sweden, with a nine-million population is the third country to help the survivors ranked after the US and Canada.

But fraudulent groups use the opportunity to raise their own funds, manipulating people’s emotional feelings.

Swedish authorities have made some decisions to prevent these individuals or institutes from financially abusing people. It has published a list of organizations that are considered as untrustworthy charities.

The government has allocated some special bank accounts to charity organizations. Such bank accounts are numbered with digits beginning with 90. The thirty organizations listed by the government, lack the accounts which are called “ninety”. Among those organizations, one can see the name of a front organization working for Mujahedin Khalq organization which is named “Mujahedin Sympathizers Society”(MSF) .

Erik Zachrison, from Council of funds raised by volunteer charity organization of Sweden has already told about the listed organizations:” I don’t know their nationality and they have not managed to present a registered number for their organization. I just know they are active all over Sweden and they do not own the account “ninety” and they have never asked to register a “ninety” account. They stop people in the streets by showing brochures or pictures and for example ask them if they know Amnesty International and then ask for financial help. A lot of people think they are helping that mentioned international body”

Many of these organizations use names including terms like cancer, orphans, very similar to those of famous charity organizations in order to deceive people.

The thirty listed organizations are as follows:

• Al-Aqsa Spannmål Stiftelse
• Baltic 2000
• Cancerhjälpfonden
• Cancer- och Allergifonden
• Cancer- och Allergifondens Stödförening
• Cancer- och Barnhjälpen

Iraqi pro-MKO MP cheats the cult

Saleh Al-Mutlaq took Mojahedin millions, did not deliver

Saleh Al_Mutlaq, disqualified for his Baathist tiesAn Iraqi journalist unveiled parts of a pro-MKO MP’s frauds, including his cheating the terrorist cult.

Saleh Al-Mutlaq, the current Iraqi MP disqualified from running in the upcoming general election for his Baathist ties, is accused of several multimillion frauds, Habilain Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website quoted Seifullah Ali as writing in Sawt Al-Iraq.

“Mutlaq receives 10 million dollars from the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) every year to provide them with their needs including food. However, he has not met many of his obligations though he has received 70 million dollars in the last seven years,” Ali wrote in his “Saleh Al-Mutlaq, thief of money and politics”.

“According to documents published in the Iraqi Al-Bayyinah Al-Jadidah newspaper, in collusion with the US former ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad, Mutlaq won a 96-million-dollar tender for Fallujah’s sewage and paving. However, he has been warned by the US a few times since he has done nothing for the city in the last years,” he added.

Saleh Al-Mutlaq has been an ardent supporter of the MKO and has backed their stay in Iraq. Calling the terrorist cult a lover of Iraqis and peace in the country, he was the head of the MKO Backers’ Summit at Camp Ashraf prior to the Iraqi army’s taking control of the camp.

MKO expulsion the least Iraqi right

In a meeting with Habilian Association Secretary General, a number of Iraqi educated women insisted on Iraq’s right to expel the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), Habilian Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website reported.

“The MKO expulsion from Iraq is the least right our nation has,” Suhair Muhyiddin Abdulwahhab said.

“No Iraqi group is willing the cult to stay in Iraq,” the Iraqi political activist insisted.

“Iraqi nation doesn’t let MKO make terror efforts”
“The terrorists, including the MKO, have made many problems to the Iraqi nation and committed many crimes against my country as well as yours,” head of Biladi TV channel’s public relations said.

“The Iraqi nation will expel all terrorists, including the MKO, from the country through their unity and won’t let the anti-Iran cult to keep its terror efforts in Iraq,” insisted Rana Bassem Al-Rafi’ee.

“MKO killed much over 25000 Iraqis”
“It is said that the MKO has killed 25000 Iraqi people, but I want to declare that much more Iraqis were steeped in blood by the cult,” an Iraqi lecturer and activist said.

“Iraqi people want the MKO’s expulsion from the country. The cult is so much hated by the nation that there were widespread protests by Al-Samawah people following news about MKO’s reloction to the province,” Firdows Al-Yasiri added.

“Sorry for hosting the MKO”
“I should apologize to the Iranian nation on behalf of the Iraqi nation for accepting the anti-Iran cult on our soil for years,” head of Shahid Mihrab Institute in Al-Kadhimain said.
“The MKO will be certainly expelled from Iraq,” Shada Abdulkadhim Al-Hilli insisted.

“Iraqis more motivated to expel MKO”
“I have met several Iraqi officials and provided them with several documents on the MKO’s crimes,” Habilian Association Secretary General said.

“Iraqi people are much more motivated to expel the MKO from Iraq since the cult’s crimes in Iraq is much more than theirs in Iran,” Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad concluded.
