UN Fourth Geneva Convention status is not for sale

The MKO’s supporters in the European Parliament today pushed through a last-minute resolution on Camp Ashraf just before the close of parliament for theDo the Geneva Conventions apply? elections. Although voting does not take place until tomorrow, the resolution is already defunct as it clearly contains false information and misleading political assertions.

The resolution, did not include any criticism of MKO behaviour in Iraq, nor did it oblige the MKO to abide by Iraqi and international law. Instead it re-iterates the false assertion that UN Fourth Geneva Convention applies to the group even though there can be no doubt that the Geneva Convention referred to has not applied since June 2005. Tomorrow members of parliament will be asked to vote on a resolution which is hopelessly flawed.

In my view, as I explained in my latest letter to the European Parliament, the only way forward is for the EU to cooperate with the Government of Iraq to open alternative camps and help these people to reintegrate into mainstream society.

Do the Geneva Conventions apply?

In July 2004, the PMOI forces in Ashraf were declared by the US to be ‘protected persons’ under the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, because they had not been belligerents during the Iraq War. The Fourth Geneva Convention protects civilians who, as the result of an international armed conflict or of occupation, find themselves in the hands of a country of which they are not nationals. It states that in no circumstances shall a protected person be transferred to a country where he or she may have reason to fear persecution for his or her political opinions or religious beliefs.

In the case of occupied territory, the Convention continues to apply for a year after the general close of military operations, and partially thereafter if the occupying power continues to exercise the functions of government. The occupation of Iraq formally ended on 30 June 2004.

EU steps in to save MKO from expulsion

As Iraq prepares to expel the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) from its territory, the European Union steps in to delay the process. As Iraq prepares to expel the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) from its territory, the European Union steps in to delay the process.

In last-minute efforts to shield MKO members from expulsion, the EU urged Iraq to drop a parliamentary bid which requires the group to leave their bases at Camp Ashraf — a military training headquarters north of Baghdad.

The EU parliamentarians also demanded that Iraq respect the”protected persons”status of the Iranian dissidents and refrain from any action that would endanger their lives or security.

The European Union removed the anti-Iran MKO group from its terror blacklist in January amid Iraqi vows to implement parliamentary measures and expel members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO).

Earlier in March, Iraqi national security advisor, Muwafaq al-Rubaie, described MKO members as”foreign terrorists”and ordered them to leave their headquarters in Camp Ashraf, where they had been stationed for more than two decades.

“The residents should understand … that their days in Iraq are numbered and we are literally counting down,”al-Rubaie told reporters.

The Mujahedin Khalq Organization, which identifies itself as a Marxist-Islamist guerilla army, was founded in Iran in the 1960s but was exiled some twenty years later for performing acts of terrorism in the country.

The terrorists are especially notorious for taking sides with former dictator Saddam Hussein during the war Iraq imposed on Iran (1980-1988).

The group masterminded a torrent of terrorist operations inside Iran, one of which was the 1981 bombing of the offices of the Islamic Republic Party, in which more than 72 Iranian officials were killed.

A 2007 German intelligence report from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has identified the MKO as a”repressive, sect-like and Stalinist authoritarian organization which centers around the personality cult of [MKO leaders] Maryam and Masoud Rajavi”.

High-ranking MKO members have camped-out in most of Europe’s parliaments for the past two years and have managed to gain scattered support from various high-ranking circles in the West

Anne Singleton, an expert on the MKO and author of ‘Saddam’s Private Army’ explains that the West aims to keep the group afloat in order to use it in efforts to stage a regime change in Iran.

“With a new Administration in the White House a pre-emptive strike on Iran looks unlikely. Instead the MKO’s backers have put together a coalition of small irritant groups, the known minority and separatist groups, along with the MKO. These groups will be garrisoned around the border with Iran and their task is to launch terrorist attacks into Iran over the next few years to keep the fire hot,”she explains.

“The role of the MKO is to train and manage these groups using the expertise they acquired from Saddam’s Republican Guard,”Singleton added.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report also condemns the MKO for running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations. According to report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

Maryam Rajavi

Maryam Rajavi is a Slaughterer of Democracy

I was thinking in my privacy about the violent assault on MR. MOHAMMMAD HOSSEIN SOBHANI, in CITY of Koln, in Germany which happened few days ago.Maryam Rajavi orders her followers to assault on innocent people who stopped following her and her husband’s ideology

I was asking myself why they assaulted him. As far as I know he had spent many years of his life in that notorious cult, called PMOI. Long time ago, He decided to separate from that cult and start over his normal life in Germany as a free man.

So what is wrong with it? why do they not tolerate him to be free and live freely? I think MRS. MARYAM should step forward and answer this question. She should be accountable for her followers attitude and their behaviors in European countries. She orders her followers to assault on innocent people who stopped following her and her husband’s ideology and shamelessly she says nothing as if nothing has happened.

She calls herself the president elect, so she should be responsible and accountable for her insurgents’ violent attitude who assault people just because they do not worship her and her cult anymore.

The funny thing is while she speaks about democracy which she has in her mind. I want to ask her, is it the model- democracy which you have in your mind?

Giving orders and permission to your followers to assault people and beat them up just because they have chosen not to continue your cultish rules and regulations? These deeds shows your democracy perfectly.

Tagging people, who have rescued themselves from your hellish cult , as members of Iranian intelligence service , is your democracy? You cannot even tolerate and bear the smallest criticism against you and your husband , so how do you allow yourself to speak about freedom and democracy?

Let me translate the meaning of your democracy for your followers. Democracy in your logic means “ everybody who is with me is my friend otherwise is my enemy”

By the way , I heard you have said that you are against execution and you have urged all governmental organizations and none governmental organizations to stop Iranian government from hanging convicts. It is funny for me to hear such a statement from you, why?

Do you not remember while you and your husband declared that if someone wanted to leave your cult should have been executed and your insurgents in ASHRAF GARRISON were shouting execution , execution in different gatherings in ASHRAF and BAGHERZADEH GARRISON. Please do not tell me that you have forgotten that!!!!

Do you not remember in a big gathering called “HOZ”, in 1994 that your husband declared code” if and if we are defeated , providing money and passport is my responsibility, finding gun and ammunition and locating our opponents , dissidents , and separated people from our organization in Europe and western countries is your responsibility, find and kill them.”

MRS . MARYAM , please explain and define the word democracy for your followers and advocates. I believe you are not able to explain those words because I am sure you do not know what democracy means.

I am a witness from your cult and I know everything about the crimes which occurred in your garrisons specially in the worst one , ASHRAF during SADDAM HOSSEIN’s reign .cooperation and participation in killing Iraqi people and suppressing , torturing , killing your own members is the definition of the democracy which you have in your mind.

So far everything you have said in favor of democracy are preposterous and absurd because you and your husband have slaughtered democracy and freedom in your hellish garrison , ASHRAF.

I hope someday your followers find out the real face of you and your cult .I believe that day will come soon .

I declare that I am fully ready to participate in any court of law to testify against the hideous crimes which have been perpetrated by the leaders of this cult.

Best Regards

MEK Camp Ashraf

A golden opportunity for Ashraf residents

The focal point of the recent statements of Mowaffaq al-Rubaie, the Iraqi security advisor, on MKO has been the necessity of detoxifying the ideological bastion of Ashraf to make its residents decide their own destiny. Also, it canAt the time being, Iraqi officials can prepare the ground for Ashraf residents to make an informed decision and be master of their own destiny be used as a model for averting the potential danger of other cults and guaranteeing the freedom of their members. He further referred to the radical nature of MKO as one of their primary features and stated:

We believe that if we can separate individuals from the all-encompassing domination by their leaders, we can allow them to begin to exercise their rights as individuals and make appropriate choices. That is, we hope to remove them from the toxic effects of their indoctrination and leaders.

These statements confirm the truth of the solutions offered so far by MKO detached members and experts of cultist relations. Furthermore, they prove the idealist viewpoints of the Iraqi security advisor toward the terrorist, ideological, and cultic nature of MKO. Although as a man of authority, he has to just take the political and security aspects of this issue into consideration, yet his attention to humanitarian aspects of the issue reveal his goodwill in finding a peaceful and appropriate solution for the challenge posed by Mojahedin to the Iraqi government and it is praiseworthy.

Meanwhile, Mojahedin have made a hostile and abusive propaganda war against him following his made statements. Despite the unethical and abusive reaction of the organization, the formal fair position taken by Mowaffaq al-Rubaie toward this terrorist and cultic group signifies his charity and tolerance. On the other hand, Mojahedin still grab at the lever of threat and aggressive behavior for postponing the enforcement of the decision made by Iraqi government in expelling them. The international bodies and western advocators of the organization have to take this point into consideration that the Iraqi government is doing its best to pursue its legal demands through international conventions and prohibit any kind of suicide attack and disaster in Camp Ashraf despite the hostile propaganda blitz of the organization.

Mowaffaq al-Rubaie has provided comprehensive explanation on the policy and position of Iraq toward MKO in his interview with Anne Singleton and now it is on the western countries and advocators of Mojahedin to find a fair solution for this challenge in an idealist mood far from any false judgment and prejudice. This needs the clear reports of Iraqi government on the course of events to prohibit Mojahedin from misusing the present circumstances.

At the time being, Iraqi officials can prepare the ground for Ashraf residents to make an informed decision and be master of their own destiny forever and free from cultic relations of MKO. It may also determine the final destiny of the organization once forever. The present conditions and regional transitions confirm the fact that Mojahedin have no hope in the future and are faced with a cul-de-sac.

It has to be acknowledged that these determining measures in themselves cannot solve any problem and all depend first of all to the will and decision of Ashraf residents. They have to move a step forward for building their free future. The focus of Mowaffaq al-Rubaie in removing the pressure of MKO leaders on Ashraf residents is an optimal solution for their detoxification and breaking the bonds of cultic relations. The entrance of Iraqi forces to Camp Ashraf and interrogation of all Ashraf residents under the control of international bodies that is an imminent event may pave the way for Ashraf residents to choose either their personal interests and a free life or organizational relations that have captured them for more than three decades in its chains. This solution that has been repeatedly offered so far yet needed legal levers and a relative majesty of law to be achieved. It seems that the present conditions have prepared all means for setting this solution into action and detoxifying Camp Ashraf. The rest depends on the will of Ashraf residents and their degree of awareness of their humanistic and legal rights.

Those who have been stranded in that garrison need your government’s help to be rescued from the captivity and suffering which the leaders and cult’s governing council have created for them in ASHRAF.

We are efficient and effective witnesses who can testify against the crimes that the leaders of this cult have done against humanity. We are ready to co – operate fully with all humanitarian and governmental organizations regarding to the crimes that this cult has done in Iraq.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization's Propaganda System

How MKO uses the Internet to spread terrorism

Today, all terrorist groups have their own websites on the Internet, serving their trained terrorists and supporters. They can use the Internet in numerous ways so the threat posed by cyber-terrorism is increasingly on the rise. As aAs a terrorist cult-like group PMOI with its numerous websites uses the World Wide Web to launch its psychological warfare and propaganda terrorist cult-like group People’s Mujahedin of Iran ( PMOI,MKO, MEK),with its numerous websites uses the World Wide Web to launch its psychological warfare and propaganda . PMOI also uses the web for its fundraising, recruitment activities.

As the experts say:”terrorism on the Internet is a very dynamic phenomenon: websites suddenly emerge, frequently modify their formats… using an enormous variety of names and terms.”* The Internet always symbolizes and supports freedom of thought and speech but it can also be fascinating for terrorists like MKO. Once the Internet was emerged, it became a medium for companies, consumers and governments to communicate with one another but groups like MKO terrorist cult used the network to distribute propaganda and to foster public opinion and sympathy for their causes.

The destructive cult of PMOI uses the Internet due to many reasons. It is easily accessible. There is no censorship or control on it and the new technology gives the terrorists of MKO various facilities to achieve their cult-like terrorist goals. MKO uses several languages on its websites providing a history of the organization and its activities in a heroic way.

The same as other terrorists’ websites MKO uses a fierce criticism of its enemy ( Islamic Republic, any defectors of the group or all the individuals who independently criticize MKO approaches who are called as the agents of IRI by MKO). The vocabulary MKO uses always includes : “Resistance”, ”democracy”, ”freedom”. They never give a detailed description of MKO’s violent acts, but they try to claim the legitimacy of the movement.

The content of PMOI’s websites show the audience they target. They use a range of slogans claiming for democracy, freedom of speech to gain the attention of their current and potential sympathizers. MKO targets its local supporters with their local languages for instance they launch websites in Swedish, Danish, Dutch, Italian … for their supporters in different European countries. They try to deceive their few supporters in these countries by demonizing IRI and presenting themselves as an effective alternative to this regime. MKO also tries to weaken public support for the regime inside Iran but in fact most Iranian youth have never heard of MKO.

Terrorism has often been used as a psychological warfare by PMOI. For instance they use the Internet to spread disinformation about Iranian nuclear program and the alleged threat of Iranians’ nuclear weapon. MKO has since then tries to create an image of fear and threat around Iranian government.

Since MKO can never use traditional media to address Iranian nation, it uses the Internet to manipulate its own image and the image of its opponents. MKO leader never talk about their cult-like practices toward their members. They never reveal the restrictions they place on their own members’ freedom of expression, or the physical and mental torture they commit against their own members. But to justify their own violence they try to label the former members or the IRI with terms like “slaughterer”  “murderer” … The Rajavis avoid mentioning how they victimize the cult members. They call their members as freedom fighters (Mujahedin) who are forced against their will to stay behind the isolated walls of Camp Ashraf and Camp Maryam.

A very common rhetorical device which is used by all modern terrorists on the web is “the extensive use of language of nonviolence in an attempt to counter the terrorists’ violence image”*. Maryam Rajavi always claims to seek peaceful solutions, diplomatic negotiations to put pressure on the Iranian government. Indeed, they talk of peace and democracy but their lobby is so active among warmongers especially in neo-cons campaign of the US congress.

Like many other terror groups, MKO uses the Internet to raise funds. It has a global network of fund raising charity foundations and NGOs of which some like Aid Association were shut down by European or American authorities.

MKO also uses the Internet for networking its numerous front organizations for making easier communications and of course to plan and to organize gatherings, protestations …

Today MKO fighters have no more weapons to launch physical terrorist attacks, most members in Camp Ashraf and Camp Maryam are forced to sharpen their computer skills. They are taught how to make the most misuse of the Internet.

Today, the politic men, scholars, security agencies and journalists should be really aware of the threat of cyber-terrorism. The terrorist activities on the Internet should be monitored. MKO terrorist cult is fighting its pre-lost war on the internet as well as on the ground to present a forged image of its deceitful manipulating cult.

Calls for MKO expulsion from Iraq increased

Calls for MKO expulsion from Iraq increased

On Satorday 18th, 2009 a conference held in the holy city of Karbala to discuss a conference held in the holy city of Karbala to discuss the negative effects of the existence of the Terrorist organization of Mujahedin in Iraq.the negative effects of the existence of the Terrorist organization of Mujahedin in Iraq.

The participants demanded the organization out of their homeland and closure of their Camp [Camp Ashraf].

The Iraqi lawyer Zia Al-Jaberi in an interview with Al-Alam news channel said:” The Iraqi government and the House of Representatives have taken many actions in order to expel this terrorist Organization out the Iraqi soil.”

Zia Al-Jaberi added that in several paragraphs of the country’s constitution it is stressed that the Iraqi territory should not be used as a platform for the use of operations which may be harmful to the neighboring countries.

Member of Iraqi Center for Development Information; Manhal Morshedi also emphasized that despite the fact that the Iraqis see Mujahedin Khalq terrorist Organization [MKO] as a source of concern to Iraq as well as its neighboring countries, US is trying to exert illegal pressure to keep this organization in Iraq.  Adding that the MKO’s presence in Iraq is illegal and unjustified and the reason is primarily their terrorist acts against Iraqi people.

The conference held while Iraqi government is seriously determined to close MKO’s case and to expel them out of the Iraqi soil since the group’s presence is a flagrant violation of the constitution and the sovereignty of Iraq.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization as a terrorist group

Betrayal of freedom for the cause of freedom

There have been times everywhere in the world when some people, strongly adhering to some adopted political stratagem and ideology, feel responsible to rise and make sacrifices to redeem their peoples’ dignity and fundamental liberties from the shackles of bondage or revolted against oppression, against foreign aggression, against the usurpation of their land and more. Many of these groups had to get armed in their struggles; however, some lost the battle, some overcame the opponents, and some laid down the arms and abided by the rules that stood for a new order. It was much because they fought for the cause of their homeland and people and hardly their clamor was tainted with organizational or individual ambitions.

The Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), for instance, was a loyalist paramilitary group in Northern Ireland formed in 1966 as an armed group from the very beginning and declared war on the IRA, and made note of the fact that they were "heavily armed Protestants dedicated to this cause”.

In the course of its forty-year long armed activities, UVF had been reportedly responsible for the killing of some 550 people. Whatever the cause, it had created a nightmare of terrorism threat that led to its proscription as a terrorist group. Although the group had declared a ceasefire 13 years ago, but since then its members have been blamed for more than 20 murders. However, through an officially issued statement, UVF declared that “as of 12 midnight, Thursday 3 May 2007, the Ulster Volunteer Force and Red Hand Commando will assume a non-military, civilianized, role”.

Transformation from a terrorist to a civilian organization includes measures as stated in the statement: “All recruitment has ceased; military training has ceased; targeting has ceased and all intelligence rendered obsolete; all active service units have been de-activated; all ordinance has been put beyond reach and the IICD instructed accordingly”.

The statement seems to be a sensible recognition of a new political reality that the world is no more a place for armed or violent actions, rather any pro-democratic move is welcomed if the repentant armed groups really mean it.

It is true that the terrorist organizations that for national causes decide to forswear violent campaign and practice of terrorism may be granted the opportunity to accomplish their political demands through peaceful avenues. The groups and organizations that claim to have renounced armed campaign are mostly judged by their actions rather than the words. There are groups that indeed mean what they say and declare it publicly for the world to see and judge. On the contrary, there exist groups that their non-proclaimed but quoted claims of renouncing terrorism corroborate the intention of evading a just judgment rather than adhering to non-violent practices to fulfill the rightful objectives.

Good news as it may seem, MKO stresses that, if not publically and officially declared, it is no more adhering to an armed policy in its struggle against Iranian regime. But the organization totally disregards the fact that those who claim to be supporting the establishment of democracy in a country should first themselves hold onto the principles of democracy. Cunning claims, while the organization’s main military camp is still heavily run and guarded under the same unchanged military disciplines and practical cultic ideologies in Iraqi Camp Ashraf, make the public opinion laugh at the group clearly lying through its teeth. With some 3500 insiders held against their will, in no way the claims correspond with the tenets of democracy the group advertises in the European communities.

Once chanting revolutionary slogans when MKO started its struggle some forty years ago, its objective seemed to be achieved following the establishment of a non-monarchical regime in Iran. Refraining to lay down the arms and to abide by the rules that stood for the new order, the group formed a new front against the regime much because its leaders could hardly adhere to the adopted regulations that could at least temporarily restore order. Its views tainted with organizational and personal ambitions, MKO failed to win public support to live longer than a couple of years on the political scene and resorted to its aggressive way of campaign.

Actually, MKO is neither an armed group, as the circumstances permit it not and since it has been removed from some terrorist lists, nor a political weight inside nor outside of its homeland to defend masses’ rights; it has always been moving against the current in any field. Once only a domestic trouble that had jeopardized the Iranian internal, public security and had turned its own people’s daily life into nightmare, MKO is now a recognized global problem, a malignant tumor that has to be dealt with and removed. Closure of Camp Ashraf not only helps dismantling such a problematic group but also sets many enslaved members of the cult free. For sure, removal of a malignant tumor lets other parts survive.

Furthermore, it is a proven fact that the transfer of MKO to any other land faces that nation with a terrible predicament that consumes the energy as it is going on in Iraq at the present. Why Iraq has to lose so much energy to tackle with a problem that is the remnant of a collapsed regime while it has to encounter and overcome many of its own internal crises? It is a question that many of the group’s advocates have to answer that what is really the use of an organization that in none of the phases of its forty-year long history has gained a single success and victory neither in political nor in social stages? A history all packed with terror, murder, defiance, treason, espionage and much more.

Much approved and supported by the ousted Iraqi dictator Saddam, it was revealed that MKO was running prison camps within Iraq and were committing severe human rights violations; the only survived dissidents were those who could manage to escape while no humanitarian organization was permitted to monitor the organization. The Iraqi government’s decision to close MKO camp and to let the people living there leave for a secure and free destination is a sound decision to end their plights and the group resistance is another instance of violating human rights.

It is not bad to be an idealist provided the ideals do not risk people’s life or dispossess anyone of freedom. The least the organization can do to bring the chapter to an end is to apologize for all its crimes and misdeeds and stop enslaving the forces that could have been usefully employed for peaceful and social purposes. Sooner or later they will be freed but the ultimate end of those who did betray freedom for the cause of freedom will be simply a vague record in history.

Open letter of Ms Batul Soltani to the members of EP

Ms Batul Soltani, former member of the Leadership Council of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), has written the following letter to the members ofMy name is Batul Soltani and I was a leading member of the MKO when I left the cult the European Parliament about the situation of the MKO terrorist cult (aka National Council of Resistance of Iran–NCRI) in Iraq and their base known as Ashraf garrison:

My name is Batul Soltani and I was a leading member of the MKO when I left the cult about two years ago. I was born in Isfahan in 1965 and I left Iran along with my husband to join the organization in 1986. We were married for 8 months then and I was pregnant. We entered Iraq from Pakistan in 1987 when my first child was 2 months old. My second child was born in Iraq.

In 1991 the MKO leaders, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, introduced the compulsory divorces to the members, and forced us to separate from our spouses and to abandon our children and send them all to Europe and the US. My 5 year old daughter was sent to Sweden and my 6 month old son was sent to the Netherlands, both with false identities. I have not seen them since. I objected these practices at that time but I had no choice as we were all trapped in a dangerous destructive cult. The terrorist MKO still prevents me from having normal contact with my children.

I was sent to England with a fake passport for about 3 years (1994 – 1997) and even during this period I had no chance to see my children. I was mainly based in a collective house working with a computer.

I spent about two decades of my life with this organization and I know how the people inside Ashraf garrison, which is run like a prison, feel. I managed to escape from Ashraf risking my life in late 2006 and reached the American forces base nearby and sought refuge with them for about a year. Finally I managed to settle in Baghdad. Now I try to help the MKO dissidents in Iraq. I traveled to Iraqi Kurdistan and to Turkey to help the former members of the MKO who have escaped from Ashraf garrison and who are living in a very difficult situation.

I had a series of interviews for Sahar Family Foundation in Baghdad about my experiences with the MKO. Up to number 10 of these interviews have been translated into English and you can read them at the following link:

saharngo.com

The main issue of the MKO is the matter of violation of human rights (Human Rights Watch report – May 2005). The leaders of the MKO terrorist cult are denying the most basic rights of their members who are mentally manipulated using sophisticated psychological methods. The some 3400 individuals in the Ashraf garrison have no access to the outside world. They have been made to believe that they are obliged to stay there and like all other cult followers they think that the outside world is satanic and corrupt and they will only be saved in that heaven!

I have been informed that a resolution on Ashraf garrison in Iraq which is the headquarters of the National Liberation Army (NLA – aka MKO) is going to be discussed early next week in the EP at the request of the supporters of this terrorist cult.

As a member of the MKO for about 20 years, I wish to ask all European Parliamentarians to focus on the following basic considerations for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Ashraf garrison:

– Free access of all members to their families using communication means such as post and telephone, and letting them to visit their family members who come to Iraq to see them somewhere outside Ashraf garrison without the presence of the MKO officials.

– Free access to the general media as well as books and publications for all members without any limitations imposed by the MKO officials

– Free access of all members to the Iraqi authorities without going through the channels of the MKO officials (in this regard every individual in the Ashraf garrison must initially be interviewed privately outside the garrison by the Iraqi authorities to learn whether the person wishes to remain an MKO member or not).

I should emphasize that the major threat against the lives and morals of the inhabitants of Ashraf garrison comes from the leaders of the cult since they have warned on many occasions that if they are not allowed to run their cult as they are doing now they will force all their followers to commit self-immolations the same way they did in 10 European cities in June 2003 after the detention of Maryam Rajavi in Paris charged with planning and conducting terrorism.

I am ready to meet anyone interested, anywhere and at any time to discuss what is going on inside this notorious cultic base called Ashraf in Iraq. I also urge all parliamentarians to take into consideration the issue of human rights for the captive members of the MKO in Iraq and also the just stances of the Iraqi government in this regard.

Many thanks

MEK: an obstacle to Obama administration’s debate with Iran

Every peace-loving person in the world definitely believes in a peaceful negotiation between Iran and the US. More sanctions against Iran or a militaryMEK: an obstacle to Obama administration’s debate with Iran invasion against Iranians will never end with a better situation for Iranian nation but with death and destruction and more hostility between the two countries.

Today President Obama is talking of diplomatic solutions to deal with Iran and the Iranian authorities will also be willing for talks if the US ends its hostile approach. Many groups and individuals welcome this move. However the neo-cons in the US who dominate Pentagon have launched a large campaign for regime change in Iran. There is also another violence minded group that views its survival in a worsened US-Iran relation.

The destructive cult of PMOI (People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran, MEK, MKO) is still under American troops’ supervision in Camp Ashraf, although it has come under Iraqi control since January. MKO leaders and their agents are now launching a large propaganda campaign to prolong this protection since the West is their last resort after the shutdown of Camp Ashraf by the Iraqi authorities. Therefore, they engage themselves in poisoning the atmosphere in US-Iran relations. They protested outside the White House a few weeks ago to prolong their American protection over Camp Ashraf. Besides they have an active deceitful lobby in the US Congress to win support of the American congressmen by repeating the same nonsenses about Iranian nuclear program. They try to demonstrate themselves as an effective opposition group to the government in Iran but MKO is just a   politico-religious cult that manipulates its victims, violates their basic human rights, separates their family from them, and tortures the internal dissidents physically and mentally.

MKO’s involvement in terrorism is very clear in its four-decade history. It assassinated several American civilians and military personnel’s working in Iran in the 1970’s. Once MKO has been disarmed by the US army, they have no more arms to assassinate their targets physically but this does not end their terrorism since MKO is a terrorist group by nature which has all the criteria of a destructive cult because of its destructive approaches against its victims. People’s Mujahedin Cult maintains its terrorist nature by its manipulative mind control system.

As a mind control cult, MEK uses all cult techniques to turn its victims into suicide bombers or individuals who are always ready to set themselves ablaze for their leaders. Thus MKO maintains its terrorist nature by terrorizing the personality and the individuality of its members.

There is also another reason for MKO’s terrorism: according to defectors, MKO members in Camp Ashraf celebrated the Sep 11 terrorist attacks while Masud Rajavi was saying :”this was the extremist Islam [AlQaida]. See, what will the revolutionary Islam [MKO] does?”

The terrorists of MKO cult, today, through their websites are exploding bombs in the air between US and Iran in order to bring regime change to Tehran by the help of their new supporters similar to the acts of terror they did against the Iraqis and Iranians when they were collaborating with Saddam Hussein during the 1980’s and 1990’s.

The US administration and US politic men are strongly advised to try not be deceived by MKO’s propaganda system. The US military and Iraqi authorities should provide help to the victims of the Rajavi’s cult in Camp Ashraf, to choose their fate with their own free will. They should be given the opportunity to leave the cult-like system of the group in which most of the members are kept by force or due to the manipulative system.

So, the US administration has to remove the obstacle against productive negotiations with Iran. Since MKO has no support among Iranian public and government, to end the US protection for the group, will pave the way for peaceful talks.
