Mujahedin Khalq Organization as a terrorist group

Who was Lord Slynn?

Lord Slynn, the former senior judge in English courts and the European Court of Justice died 8th April. Lord Slynn, the former senior judge in English courts and the European Court of Justice

During his long career as a judge, he was responsible for some of the most notorious decisions of the English judiciary in recent years, which made him a bogey-man of defenders of human rights.

In the 1970’s, in what became a cause célèbre of a class-influenced and sexist judgment, Judge Slynn, along with two other judges of the English Appeal Court, released a convicted violent child rapist from prison, ostensibly because serving a prison sentence would damage his “promising career” as a military officer.

The fact was that the rapist officer was from the magnificently aristocratic Coldstream Guards regiment and his victim was “only” a 16-year-old working class girl working as a waitress for some pocket money.

To the honorable judge, the well-bred Guardsman had an innate right to all that was possessed by the teenage waitress, including her body. True, the “little serf” had caused a fuss over the issue, and there was the slight inconvenience of the law that demanded equal protection against rape irrespective of class, but not enough to merit inconveniencing an esquire’s “promising career”. So, Judge Slynn felt that a suspended prison sentence would more than suffice as punishment for the gentleman-officer, at least for his offence of reaching out for a woman below his station.

This ruling understandably caused outrage in Britain, especially among women campaigning against rape, and led to widespread protests across the UK.

A number of Members of Parliament signed a petition calling on Judge Slynn to be sacked or to resign. But, the honorable judge rejected these calls, citing the independence of the judiciary.

Years later, when the former Chilean dictator and coup leader General Pinochet was arrested in the UK on a Spanish extradition request for crimes against humanity, (the then Lord) Slynn entered the arena again and did his bit for humanity by being the sole law lord in the House of Lords who ruled against the admissibility of his extradition. Lord Slynn had the unique distinction of declaring that the Chilean dictator was entitled to “state immunity” although he may have committed grave crimes against humanity, mainly torture and murder. A view rejected by other senior British judges and other legal experts.

Nevertheless, this bizarre position was inline with Lord Slynn’s personality and views about the function of law. His view was that laws were there to protect the status quo and to ensure that the representatives of the ruling classes – be they the dashing “gentlemen officers” of the Coldstream Guards or the brutal Chilean coup leader – were to be protected from the consequences of their crimes against their “inferiors”. By extension, it was the victims who had been the authors of their own misfortune; The teenage waitress in the UK should not have shown the temerity to resist the unwanted approaches of the dashing Guardsman and the defenders of freedom and justice in Chile should have known better than to resist the US-backed putsch by Pinochet.

It was, therefore, almost inevitable that he should have found sympathy, not only for the cause, but for the ill-gotten cash, of the anti-Iran terrorist Rajavi cult, sometimes known as the PMOI or MKO.

Throughout their ignominious existence since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the PMOI have stopped at no treachery or crime against their compatriots.

Random bombings and assassinations, murders of a popularly elected president and his prime minister, blowing up of elected members of the Iranian parliament (Majlis), spying for the defunct Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, while his troops were occupying Iran, setting up military camps in Saddam’s Iraq and mounting joint operations against Iran from these bases, and much much more. They have done it all.

With the defeat of Saddam Hussein, the PMOI were left without a sponsor. So, bewildered, brainwashes, despondent and defeated. Furthermore, being listed as a proscribed terrorist organization curtailed their fundraising efforts.

So, in an effort to be removed from the list, to whom could the PMOI turn but the trust old bullies’ warhorse: Lord Slynn of Hadley.

The defenders of British child rapists and Chilean torturers rose to the occasion and did his best to have the PMOI removed from the EU’s list of terrorist organizations.

Eventually, the PMOI were delisted in the European Union by the European Court of Justice, in a perverse ruling which merely accepted the PMOI’s claims that it had “stopped” terrorist activities. It left open the slight matter of their previous crimes, in a verdict that showed contempt for the Iranian lives that had been destroyed by PMOI’s violence in the past.

In order to satisfy himself that the PMOI violence was directed at Iran only and not the British and American occupiers of Iraq, Lord Slynn traveled to the PMOI’s terrorist training base in “Camp Ashraf” in the Iraqi desert, not far from Iranian border.

Lord Slynn did not live long after this legal “victory”. Upon hearing of his death, the PMOI co-leader Maryam Rajavi declared that as a member of the PMOI, Lord Slynn should be buried in Camp Ashraf.

The Rajavi cult have long since buried themselves alive in Camp Ashraf, and their hunt for new companions only rarely bears fruit these days. Saves for the likes of the late Lord Slynn

MEK Camp Ashraf

Ashraf ailing residents, a pressure tool for MKO

In its recent propaganda blitz over the condition of the members in Camp Ashraf MKO has claimed that the controlling forces of Camp Ashraf have prevented the entrance of Iraqi physicians to Ashraf for the treatment of a number of patients therein including one afflicted with cancer and two in need of a surgery operation as well as a case of appendectomy; whereas, Manoochehr Hezarkhani in his recent article on the facilities of Camp Ashraf has claimed that Ashraf has an equipped hospital and can even cure Iraqi people. In addition to these baseless claims, there are other points in this statement that are to be elaborated on.

1. Undoubtedly, one of the tricks of the organization in recent years has been misusing humanitarian emotions of the world and evoking sympathy of outsiders toward Ashraf residents especially in the critical periods when the organization has been under pressure of law and international conventions. An instance is the hunger strike of MKO members in Auver-sur-Oise after the events of 17 June 2003 when the strikers pretended to be in a very bad condition in front of media reporters to win the sympathy of their audience. The claims of MKO can be evaluated as another instance of the old tactic of the organization.

In this regard, Mojahedin have made their utmost efforts to channel their propaganda war against Mowaffaq al-Rubaie and incite public emotions against him. It is also likely that Mojahedin accuse him of some accidental or organized deaths occurred inside Camp Ashraf to revenge on him. In a nutshell, the likely future events may give many subterfuges to Mojahedin for threatening Iraqi officials. Iraqi government is to take these issues into consideration not to be deceived and misused by Mojahedin.

2. MKO has a big hand at misusing all events for its own interests like the case of these patients declared by the organization. Disregarding its truth or falsehood, the authorities of Camp Ashraf have to answer the question what they have done so far for curing these patients and whether their family is aware of their illness or not? It seems that all their hurly-burly is just a matter of killing time and distracting the attention of Iraqi government from the main issue that is expulsion of Mojahedin from Iraq.

3. The next point is that Ashraf authorities have no problem in transferring their patients to Iraqi hospitals. However, they refrain to do so. If they are truthful in their claims, the conscience necessitates it to transfer their patients to Iraqi hospitals as soon as possible and put their responsibility on the shoulder of human rights organs and Red Cross. Not only the organization feels no blame if the condition of the ailing members get worse, but also they are regarded as precious tools of pressure on Iraqis and the public opinion to push forward.

The dissidents have held a press conference in Baghdad where they complained of their”tough situation”in Camp Ashraf — the MKO’s military training headquarters in the Iraqi province of Diyala.

Baghdad has vowed to move MKO members to their country Iran or send them to a third country as it holds the anti-Iran group responsible for destabilizing Iraq.

Iraqi Authorities' stance on the MEK

Consensus to end MKO presence in Iraq

Rashid al-Azzawi, deputy head of Iraqi political party of Tawafogh (Accordance Front), said that resolving the problem of the presence of the MKO and PKK inRashid al-Azzawi, deputy head of Iraqi political party of Tawafogh (Accordance Front), Iraq will ease tensions with Iran and Turkey.

Al-Azzawi asked the Iraqi government to persuade Iran to issue an amnesty for the elements of the Iranian People’s Mujahedeen, or the issuance of passports over to them to choose another country.

In a statement posted on the front al-Azzawi also said: After the security agreement between Baghdad and Washington, it has become necessary to end the file of the People’s Mojahedin Organization, and finish with their illegal presence in Iraq, the fact that will ease the tension with Iran.

Calling on the Iranian government to solve the issue of the group, through the issuance of amnesty or any other appropriate decision for the organization he said: Regarding the existing consensus over the expulsion of this terrorist group from Iraq, ending the presence of the elements of the Mujahedeen-e Khalq Organization from Iraq will positively affect Iran – Iraq relations.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization's Propaganda System

MKO has huge medicine supplies

Despite the MKO hue and cry over the lack of medicine and doctors in camp Ashraf and accusing the Iraqi government of not allowing trucks t enter medicine and food to this garrison, this terrorist organization has several warehouses full of drugs inside the camp.

As reported by a Habilian database correspondent, since the handover of camp Ashraf protection from the hands of Americans to Iraqi forces, MKO has repeatedly tried to create a media mob and spread rumors against the Iraqi government. This is while Iraq’s national security adviser, Muwaffagh Al- Rubaie has announced the freedom of movement of trucks of medicines and food to the camp.

The report also says: In last march Manouchehr Hezar Khani, a high-ranking member of MKO who lives in the Europe together with Maryam Rajavi and some other MKO members, published a book in which he referred to his recent visit to camp Ashraf.

In a part of his book, hezar Khani referrers to Ashraf hospital and says: "Ashraf hospital is now the unique source for the treatment of patients within Ashraf city and fortunately, as I’ve already mentioned, not only we enjoy the support and cooperation of Iraqi doctors but also as the officials of the hospital say, it was equipped by many sophisticated medical equipments and tools (a part of which I saw myself) for testing and treatment and this development is still ongoing. The day I was at the hospital, there were only a few patients in bed.

According to the officials, the hospital is now able to treat all kinds of diseases the fact I couldn’t believe until I saw the warehouses of medicine and medical equipments."

The report also adds: National council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the so-called MKO parliament in exile, has recently issued a ridiculous hasty announcement in which they accused the Iraqi government of refraining from allowing Iraqi surgeons enter the camp to treat two patients with cancer and appendicitis.

Meanwhile in an interview with Habilian database Dr. Walid Al- Araji, a specialist in Iraq’s Ministry of Health, stated: MKO elements which were backed by American forces repeatedly robbed medicines from the stores of Ministry of Health in Baghdad via trucks at the time camp Ashraf protection was in hands of Americans.

Mujahedin Khalq 's Function

MKO backlash over warnings

To cross the red-line drawn by MKO is not at all tolerable by the organization. Take the main bastions of MKO for instance, Camp Ashraf in Iraq and the one situated in Auver-sur-Oise in France. While the organization praises and is much delighted seeing the media and attentions directed to the former, the latter is an inviolable line and prohibited to bring up. Encountering a rush of articles on Auver-sur-Oise released in a number of websites, the organization was so irritated that finally took an expected reaction using its typical abusive language. In an article entitled “Frustration of regime against the victories of Resistance and its death cries” published in one of its alias websites, MKO expressed its official position in this regard and which meant the organization could hardly remain indifferent on such issues. In fact, it broke its silence on one of the main challenges of the organization that has been focused in these articles.

Mojahedin are well aware that the Europe and France in particular, will not be inconsiderate when hearing the warning bells tolling. To take pains to prove absurdity of claims made people whom it calls the agents of regime, is a proof of undeniable truth behind what it calls lies. Evidently, one of the reasons proving the truth of these claims is the cliché ways in which Mojahedin have reacted to it.

The best solution for MKO in reaction to these articles was to admit the European and France authorities to their camp in Auver-sur-Oise which could work better that getting frustrated. However, even if the authorities and international bodies could have passed through the gates of the headquarters in Auver-sur-Oise, Mojahedin would have played so many tricks and double-crosses that it fooled the visitors into thinking that nothing was unusual, as they did so in Camp Ashraf and managed to deceive a number of their European visitors. It has to be pointed out that these reactions on the part of the organization in which they attribute everything to the Iranian government are outdated tactics that fails to convince westerners:

Always, when faced with a troubling question, the Mojahedin fall back on one of their habitual tactics. Either they claim bias, declaring that putting them in question is playing the game of the Iranian regime… In spite of everything, today they no longer fool anyone. 1

However, Mojahedin disregard the fact that all warnings on the danger of Mojahedin residence in France are not made by its detached members yet the surveillance system of France is the main resource of these accusations. Surprisingly, Mojahedin even ascribe French intelligent agency to Iranian government as they did so in the events of June 2003. Taking this procedure, Mojahedin respect no ethics and use all possible means for achieving their ends. Likewise, the blind reactions of Mojahedin toward their critics have always been baseless and irrational. Suppose we accept the claims of Mojahedin, then it can be said that all official news resources, politicians and even security systems of the European countries and France in particular are being sponsored by the Iranian government. In other words, the West and France have destroyed their reputation as well as legal, social, and political ethics for accusing Mojahedin on the one hand and acquitting and pleasing Iran on the other. Despite removing the name of Mojahedin from the terrorist list of the EU, the West is well aware of the fraudulent techniques and lobbies of Mojahedin for achieving this end. As a western researcher puts into words:

They are faithful to their technique of harassment of "decision-makers". 2

As M. Pierre de Bousquet de Florian, Director of Territor Surveillance (DST), made clear, his agents were not acting on ground they did not know:

Just for 2001, there were 195 attacks and terrorist actions against Iran claimed in statements from Auvers-sur-Oise. We have learned that they were planning actions outside Iran, aimed notably at Iranian ‘diplomatic missions in Europe. This is a future danger, but a clear one. 3

According to the French intelligence services:

Mojahedin’s aim was to move their "world operational centre" -previously based in Baghdad -to the Val d’Oise. 4

Pierre de Bousquet further added that:

The Rajavi’s villa was, nonetheless, ‘a real Fort Apache’. "We were surprised by the security systems. We found between 8 and 9 million US dollars in cash, as well as systems for coded communications. 5

The fact is that in addition to terrorist activities of Mojahedin against their critics and dissidents all over the Europe, Mojahedin provide espionage services for various countries and organs since one of the factors of their survival in the west is their espionage activities. This charge is not made by MKO detached members and those called as agents of Iranian government by the organization rather western media acknowledge it. According to Liberation:

At a time when French services acted tolerantly with Mojahedin, they were considered valuable resources for revealing the programs of Iran against France, yet this opposition movement refrained to work only for France services. As their barrister confirms, the advocators of Masoud Rajavi also worked for the services of Germany, Netherlands, and Britain… They were an ideological agent. 6

The damaging and adverse consequences of the inevitable relocation of MKO members from Camp Ashraf to Auver-sur-Oise are evident. It may result in forming the ideological bastion of Mojahedin in France as acknowledged by those politicians who are familiar with the true nature of MKO. For example, Pierre de Bousquet, in an interview to Le Figaro states:

Mojahedin aim to establish their new camp in France, since they have lost their bases in Iraq. We never accept it due to these reasons and their dangers for our citizens. 7

Also, the dossier of June 2003 is still open. Maryam Azdanlu (Rajavi) has provisional freedom and has expended 80000 € to be bailed out of jail. The judiciary system of France is to put MKO and its she-guru into trial based on numerous proofs and documentaries. Furthermore, the threatening message of Masoud Rajavi in December 27, confirms the truth of the warnings expressed in this series of articles. Mojahedin describe the content of these articles baseless and as Goebbels lies that is known to be the axis of their own propaganda wars where they turned the number of their residents in Camp Ashraf from 5000 to 50000 before the fall of Saddam in a condition when the course of events therein was concealed to the eyes of the world. Also, they changed the number of their sympathizers that demonstrated in France from 2000-3000 to 70000; a claim reiterated by Mr. Mazandarani in his recent article.  These are some instances of lies Mojahedin fabricate following the thoughts of Goebbels and Reich.

What is of significance is that France is to be prudent against the illegal activities of Mojahedin in its soil and pursue its present policy of refusing to give refugee to MKO members. Also, if Mojahedin consider the made claims as big lies and very ridiculous, any reaction to them on their part is even more ridiculous and absurd.

Massoud Khodabandeh to the European Parliament

Massoud Khodabandeh to the European Parliament in relation to a proposed resolution on Camp Ashraf Massoud Khodabandeh to the European Parliament in relation to a proposed resolution on Camp Ashraf

As you are aware, since December 2003 successive Iraqi governments (from the first interim government to the present elected government) have demanded that the American Army remove Camp Ashraf and the foreign terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) militants in it from their country. This is not a new demand and is based on the MEK’s historical enmity toward the Iraqi people for two decades as part of the suppressive apparatus of Saddam Hussein.

Only since the American Army handed over responsibility for Camp Ashraf in January this year has it been possible for the Government of Iraq (GOI) to take action toward removing the MEK and closing Camp Ashraf as a fundamental aspect of taking full, sovereign control of the country. The GOI’s first and basic demand is that the individuals resident in the camp obey Iraqi and international law. The MEK, in any country they reside, regard themselves as ‘outside the law’ of that country – true outlaws. How and why they escape justice in these countries of course requires explanation from the governments and judicial systems of those countries. But for now, the Iraqi Government appears to be the only entity which is prepared to challenge this situation and to its credit is being completely open about the process.

As you are aware, there are 25 American soldiers posted at Camp Ashraf. To date, they have not reported any activity by the Iraqi authorities in pursuit of this sovereign right to dismantle and remove a dangerous, destructive terrorist group from the country which has given rise to concern.

On the contrary, there is plentiful evidence that the leaders of the MEK, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, continue to preside over a situation inside Camp Ashraf in which the individual members are subjected to a harsh and unremitting regime involving daily violations of their basic human rights. An article in The Economist (April 8, 2009) stated: “the PMOI is widely reviled by human-rights groups for nurturing a messianic cult of personality around Mr Rajavi and his wife, Maryam, and for enforcing a totalitarian discipline on its adherents. Several defectors testify, in the words of one of them, to a “constant bombardment of indoctrination” and a requirement to submit utterly and unquestioningly to the cause. No sources of news are allowed without the PMOI’s [MEK’s] say-so.”

I believe it is abundantly clear that in relation to human rights violations of the individuals living inside Camp Ashraf, it is the MEK itself which has proven to be the perpetrators. The MEK has also been actively obstructive, indeed provocative, toward those wishing to investigate and alleviate this suffering. So plentiful is this evidence that, after becoming aware that a resolution is proposed in the European Parliament in relation to Camp Ashraf and the people in it, I have been surprised to find that no representatives of the European Parliament have been on an official visit to Baghdad or to Camp Ashraf to investigate the issue. Indeed, it appears that no official contact whatsoever has been made by the European Parliament with the Government of Iraq to discuss this highly sensitive issue.

I urge the European Parliament to redress this glaring omission at the earliest opportunity. The GOI has been commendably transparent in explaining its activities vis-à-vis

Camp Ashraf and has shown itself ready to answer any questions. The GOI should have no hesitation in providing full access to Camp Ashraf to officially organised investigative missions, whether by political entities or humanitarian agencies.

Indeed, I have no doubt that the GOI would welcome international oversight of its activities in relation to Camp Ashraf. Dr. Mowaffak al Rubaie, Iraq ‘s national security advisor’s plan for the difficult task of dismantling an extremist cult has revealed an enlightened, humanitarian approach which could become a blueprint for tackling similar organisations worldwide.

Dr. al Rubaie has stated: “This is an indoctrinated and tightly disciplined organization of extremist zealots who have employed terrorism and at times even self-immolation to secure their aims. In normal everyday language we can say that they have been “brainwashed”. He adds, “The Government of Iraq does not deal with the MEK as an organization. We deal with the residents as individuals.”

Under observation by the ICRC and the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights, Dr. al Rubaie has focused efforts to protect the individuals inside the camp following allegations that human rights abuses are being perpetrated by MEK leaders against the residents. To this end he has said, “We believe that if we can separate individuals from the all-encompassing domination by their leaders, we can allow them to begin to exercise their rights as individuals and make appropriate choices. That is, we hope to remove them from the toxic effects of their indoctrination and leaders.”

In response to the many obstacles thrown up by the MEK to their removal from Camp Ashraf, Dr. al Rubaie said, “The Iraqi Army unit posted to defend and secure

Camp Ashraf has exercised patience and extreme restraint in spite of the staged provocations and demonstrations that Ashraf’s self-appointed leaders have launched in defiance of the legitimate exercise by the Government of Iraq of its sovereignty.” “Ashraf is not above the law,” said Dr. al Rubaie.

The Iraqi government has given guarantees that none of the captives will be forced to return to Iran against their wishes. The most serious threat to those left in Camp Ashraf comes from the MEK cult’s leaders, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. They will want to use their blood to extricate themselves from this crisis. American media has already quoted MEK officials threatening a ‘humanitarian catastrophe’ at Camp Ashraf. Experts in cult activity and experts on the MEK have interpreted this as the threat of mass suicides of residents by order of the MEK leaders.

I urge European and international governments as well as humanitarian agencies to cooperate fully with the Iraqi authorities to help restore basic human rights to the people trapped in Camp Ashraf.

I urge the European Parliament to give its full support to the Government of Iraq. Any resolution should reflect the realities on the ground and give support to the humanitarian approach taken by the Government of Iraq to resolve this difficult problem.

The aim of a European Parliament resolution must be to prevent any further political abuse of Mojahedin-e Khalq members in Camp Ashraf held captive by their leaders, and guarantee the individual rights of those who renounce violence and are willing to return to society.

A resolution should, above all, reflect the responsibility of European countries toward the victims of the Rajavi cult. In particular, for individuals in Camp Ashraf with residency or asylum rights in European countries, provision should be made in the resolution to work with the GOI for their rapid transfer back to these countries.

A resolution should, as a minimum, include the demands that:

1. The GOI re-open a separate temporary camp adjacent to Camp Ashraf to which people can physically escape and not be forced to continue as members of a foreign terrorist group in Iraq against their will. (Sahar Family Foundation has a list of over 200 individuals who have expressed their desire to leave the MEK but who have no alternative place to go until their final destination is determined.)

2. The MEK should be required to allow free and unfettered access to all of the individual residents inside Camp Ashraf to the Iraqi authorities and to official humanitarian investigative agencies.

3. The MEK should be required to allow free and unfettered access to the immediate family members of all the individual residents inside Camp Ashraf without supervision by MEK operatives.

4. The MEK should be required to allow all residents of Camp Ashraf access to external information, internet, radio, television, books, newspapers and conversation. Gender integration must be reinstated.

5. The European Parliament should work with the UNHCR to find third countries to which the individuals in Camp Ashraf can be transferred. Those with residence and/or asylum rights in European countries should be helped to return and reintegrate into normal society.

6. Mojahedin leaders, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, and other leading members who have escaped the camp should be arrested and brought to justice through international courts.

A Half-Way House Will Help MEK Victims Escape to Freedom

Open Letter to the Government of Iraq

Dear President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki We must congratulate your government on its sensitive and effective handling of the difficulties and obstacles presented by the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) cult over the past three months

We must congratulate your government on its sensitive and effective handling of the difficulties and obstacles presented by the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) cult over the past three months during the process of dismantling Camp Ashraf and removing the militants living there.

While western observers still wonder whether it is tactful or polite to describe this group as a dangerous, destructive cult, your government has shown a full understanding of the nature of this organisation and has acted accordingly. In this way I am sure you will avoid the ‘humanitarian disaster’ threatened by the MEK’s leaders as they are brought to submit to the rule of Iraqi and international law.

In spite of the totalitarian grip in which the group’s members are held inside Camp Ashraf, we know that many are desperate to escape the cult and win back their freedom. At least two hundred names have been recorded of those inside Camp Ashraf who reject membership of the group but who are prevented by MEK leaders from leaving. What they need is an alternative to turn to.

In this respect we urge your government to act quickly to restore an equivalent facility to that which operated while the American Army was protecting the camp. The temporary facility set up in 2003 enabled over 800 individuals to escape from the cult and reconnect with their families and the outside world. The precipitate closure of the US run camp in 2008 unfortunately removed this vital first point of escape for those remaining in Camp Ashraf.

A similar camp with signs visible from inside Camp Ashraf would offer a vital first point of physical escape from Camp Ashraf – an easily accessible first port of refuge.

Setting up a temporary camp for those who voluntarily leave the MEK will provide a place where the detoxification process, which is a vital step for cult members to recover from the cult’s brainwashing processes, can begin. Such a facility would also offer temporary refuge for those who escape the MEK from where they can reconnect with their families before their final destination is determined.

As you know, in February 2008 we established Sahar Family Foundation with the help of families of MEK victims and supported by well wishing Iraqis. Sahar was set up to help people who do not want to stay with the terrorist MEK cult. Since then, with the help of well wishers in western countries we have been able to help many escapees from Camp Ashraf; some have returned to their home country, others are now residing in European countries, the US and Canada and are working towards establishing themselves as normal citizens in these societies. We are more than happy to get involved and involve volunteer families and ex-cult members to work under the supervision of the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Human rights in this new facility.

We remain hopeful that, with the sensitive approach which your government has already shown, this sad situation will be resolved in as short a timescale as possible.

I have the honor to inform you that I was informed by the Iranian opposition A Mojahedin victim, Hamid Siah Mansourimedia today, such a terrible shocker, so that one of Mojahedin victims called Mohammad Sobhani was recently attacked by the Mojahedin cult terrorists in Cologne, Germany. All of a sudden,

I got shocked such a shocking terrorist action, which can be, happened in your motherland where the nurse of freedom and democracy is. However, I was not as surprised due to this cult notorious violent nature as well known at the regional and international level. As I closely know them and on the other hand, the historical and political reality and experience during last three decades has shown that the terrorism and the thought of cultism does not recognize any kind of geographical and moral border. Therefore, such terrorist activities by this cult are natural and expectable. But the human and moral conscience of the West Elites and politicians must be aware of much more terrorist activities and efforts by this cult in the future in the other European States against other Mojahedin guiltless victims and survivors who have already fled from the bloody claw and fanatic dogmatism of this sect and took refuge in the western countries. Now, it is the time for the public opinion in particular the dependable officials of the West to control and prevent the terrorist activities of this adventurous cult instead appeasing this cult and using this cult as a means for achieving political aims in the region. Mr. Ambassador, you should consider this fact that the main losers of this illegitimate political deals and appeasements are innocent survivors of Mojahedin cult who are under the direct range of this cult terrorist target in the European States. As we witness the current experience of Mr. Mohammad Sobhani in your motherland, who has been under severe and inhuman tortures by this cult for the period of two decades in the notorious custody of Ashraf garrison situated in Iraq.

In fact, the present adventurous incidents of the Ashraf garrison situated in Iraq and it is still under the ideological and cultic control of this cult and without any doubt Mojahedin cult officials and leadership is the most leading responsible of causing the whole up to date problems in the region including the recent terrorist assault on Mr. Mohammad Sobhani, prove that the Mojahedin cult’s leadership claims regarding new changes so that this cult has abandoned the violence, is quite false and vain. The latest violent efforts either in Iraq or in Germany show that the leader of this cult, Maryam Rajavi is not trustworthy and her vows and obligations regarding international norms and laws, are forged and fictitious. Therefore, she is endeavoring to achieve her reactionary and political aims via violence and terrorist activities. That is why she is reputed as Iranian Ben Laden among Iranian opposition groups and most of Iranians. As a result, now it is the appropriate time for the West to take a serious step regarding Iranian Ben laden to encounter her ipso facto terrorist threats, which can be horrible for human beings in particular for the public security and peace of the European States.

Yours truly

A Mojahedin victim, Hamid Siah Mansouri– Paris – France
