As a Canadian citizen, I find Mr. Casaca’s intervention with Canada’s internal affairs presumptuous. His expression of opinion on a subject that he has no prior knowledge of is quite irresponsible. Though I am quite confident that our Centre and its directors are well recognized not only by the community we are directly serving, Iranian-Canadians, but also by the community at large as well as the relevant government offices I wish to give a brief history of our organization and its establishment.

Proscribed terrorist MKO attack the Seminar on”Cults and Violence”in Paris

about 50 members of the proscribed terrorist entity, Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (MKO) who had been dispatched from Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands and Germany, attacked a seminar organised by the Association for the Protection of Iranian Immigrants. MKO’s Invalid Claims

Earlier also, through its lawyers, the MKO had threatened Iraqi ambassador to Iran but when he stressed his position and that of his government, calling such moves by the MKO as unimportant and illegal, it was proved that such threats do not work for Iraqi officials and that these acts, as psychological threats against Iraqi officials, are invalid.

Victims of Human Rights Abuses

According to MKO’s TV, INTV, Lord Corbett of Castle Vale in an interview reiterated that 330 British MPs and 160 members of the House of Lords emphasized the political refugee status of MKO in Iraq. The interview came after his addressing participants in the sit-in outside the UNHCR headquarters which has been going on for just over 100 days since August.
