We were informed that Marzieh Ghorsi (also known as Arezou), after years of forced staying in Camp Ashraf, has left the cult of Rajavi and is now living in US-run camp; according to her parents, she has called her parents from American camp and her parents are very happy.
When the two defectors arrived Iran, through an interview declared that a large number of members in the cult are seeking a way to escape from the camp and separate from Rajavi’s cult since the depression atmosphere and suffering treatment rule the camp.
Two defectors of Rajavi’s Cult returned, being under pressure since long ago could join American camp and by cooperation of IRC they returned to their homeland and welcomed .

We would like to request international communities and IRAQ government to make the leaders of group leave their country and give a chance of freedom to our children. We also ask Iranian authorities to offer amnesty to the captured members of MKO,as before so that we could return our children home easily.”
following the return report of four MKO defectors having escaped from Camp Ashraf and joined American camp and returned to their homeland by cooperation of IRC on Jan.14, 2006 here we present the names:

Four defectors of MKO, who were under pressure since long ago, could escape from Camp Ashraf and join American camp. After a while, by cooperation of IRC they returned to their homeland and welcomed on Jan.14, 2006 at 2 p.m.
All the returnees declared that the depression and disappointing atmosphere in Rajavi’s cult leads every member to escape. A large number of members willing to return to Iran, will return in near future.
Nejat Society held a meeting in which a number of defectors of Rajavi’s Cult were present. The principal issue of the meeting was declared as the investigation on the massacre of Iraqi Kurds by MKO.
most of these members were in Rajavi’s cult for 18 to 20 years who are separated from it due to threat, torture … in Rajavi’s cult and introduced themselves to TRC.
This indicates the disappointment and depressive atmosphere in Camp Ashraf- Iraq.
following the return news of 13 defectors of Rajavi’s cult who were settled in American camps, it is declared that these members with cooperation of Red Cross on a private flight of that organization via Mehr Abad Airport repatriated and joined their families.
13 former members have returned to Iran by the cooperation of Islamic Republic, Red Crescent, International Red Cross and other officials.
Earlier, hundreds of other members of MKO who’d left the group’s camp in Iraq returned to the country.
