Nejat delegation met Shadow Defence Minister in London

Shadow Defence Minister Dr Liam Fox meeting Nejat Society delegation in London supported a humanitarian solution for Camp Ashraf in Iraq

London,December17,2008-The Nejat Society delegation in London met today with Dr Liam Fox, Shadow Secretary of State for Defence. Shadow Defence Minister Dr Liam Fox meeting Nejat Society delegation in London supported a humanitarian solution for Camp Ashraf in Iraq

Nejat representatives described conditions inside Camp Ashraf in Iraq. The camp is the military/ideological training base of the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MKO) cult organisation. The group has been detained there by the American army since 2003.

Dr Fox was moved by the stories of two women in the delegation who have not seen their relatives for many years because of MKO directives for members to divorce from their spouses, children and families. Mrs Foroushani, from Isfahan, has a son in Camp Ashraf and Mrs Iranpour, from Shiraz, has two brothers in the camp.

Dr Fox was moved by the stories of two women in the delegation who have not seen their relatives for many years because of MKO directives for members to divorce from their spouses, children and families

Dr Fox expressed his concern that neither the US army nor the Iraqi government have moved to dismantle the military infrastructure of what is in fact a foreign terrorist organisation and its training base in Iraq. The MKO has been listed as a terrorist entity in the US since 1997. He told the delegation he would raise the issue directly with the Americans at the earliest opportunity.

The US army has agreed to hand over control of the camp to Iraqi authorities by the end of this year when the Iraqi military will take over protection of the camp and its detainees. Although for five years the Iraqi government has demanded that the MKO be removed from Iraqi territory, guarantees have been given that no MKO will be forced back to Iran against their will.

Nejat is asking UK policy and decision makers along with human rights organisations in the UK to support the position of the Iraqi government toward the MKO.

The delegation explained that the first steps toward resolving the problem posed by Camp Ashraf include facilitating free and unfettered reunions between families and their relatives in the camp. A separate camp should immediately be established adjacent to the camp in which members can take refuge if they choose to renounce violence and go back to civilian life. Nobody should be forced to remain a member of a dangerous paramilitary force against their will.

Dr Fox expressed his satisfaction that this approach would be a humanitarian way forward to resolving the problem.

Nejat Society attended “International Press Fair”

was open to the public from November 16 to 22. Some 470 Iranian publications and news agencies as well as media organizations from 27 foreign countries attended the event.

Nejat members who were present had numerous meetings and interviews with Iranian as well as foreign journalists

A lot of Iranian and foreign journalists and also the ordinary visitors welcomed the humanitarian objectives of Nejat Society appreciating its efforts and hoping success for it. They wanted to know how to aid the Society.

– An elderly citizen said:” I distributed Mujahed journal when I was a high school student. After sometime I got to know about their real nature due to my parents guide then I left them. I am happy that there was some one to lead me at that time but some were captured and ended with being Saddam’s accomplice.”

– An army officer said:”No Iranian in any case accepts cooperation with the offensive enemy. I have always considered them as traitors but I didn’t know that they even have no pity for their own members and torture and imprison them.

– An elderly woman said that when she was abroad, the MKO used too much effort to recruit her but she has always felt that although MKO supporters are honest but no honesty is seen in its leaders’ words and now she has understood that her feeling was definitely right.

Three people were looking attentively at a poster of self-immolation in Paris. One was explaining the story for the two others. They were so shocked and declared their hatred towards such an act done by the cult leaders to order the members to burn themselves.

The visitors were so eager to get information on the situation of the mentally and physically captured ones in Camp Ashraf

The Ideology of the MEK

Versatile ideology of Rajavi’s Cult

Once forming the very fundamentals and organizational principles of Mojahedin, ideology turned into a paradoxical lever in the hands of Masoud Rajavi after he usurped leadership of MKO. Although Rajavi extracted the necessity of armed struggle against the global imperialism from MKO ideology, after a while he manipulated it in a way that the very ideology made the background for siding with imperialism, ignoring the bloods shed for the sacred cause they were fighting to fulfill. Drifted to the left, it was the fundamental objective of MKO to confront US-led imperialist policies in Iran. In other words, ideology worked a two-fold function for Rajavi. On the one hand, it was aimed at invoking social movements and political trends and on the other hand, it was believed to be an instrument justifying the organization’s short-term compromise with the US, a government once damned by MKO. By the same token, Rajavi declared the initiation of the phase of armed struggle in 1980s grabbing at the ideology:

In a gathering with the council of leadership and Masoud, it was concluded that we had to wage armed struggle even though it resulted in the overall disintegration of the organization. It was no exaggeration, we believed that in the existing conditions, our passivity might lead to disintegration of the organization as well as defamation of our ideology giving an end to the ideology of the organization… in that historical period in Iran. 1

In fact, ideology may be considered an instrument for Mojahedin to find a way out of their political and strategic impasses as well as shaping the final destiny and existence of the organization. Taking this into mind, the following statements made by MKO members are better understood:

As theists consider the existence of God as the main pillar of their beliefs, ideology is the main pillar of a revolutionary organization. In fact, the organization owes its existence to ideology. Ideology is the theoretical base of its development and the sole solution for its challenges. 2

Although Rajavi pretended that he deemed the development of the ideological revolution necessary for keeping the integrity of the organization, it is evident that the real intention behind his decision was carrying out considerable modifications in the ideological principles and doctrines of the organization in a way to make them fully in accord with his personal ambitions. Hence, he paved the way for testing his personal, cultic theories within the organization as he justified the compulsory in the framework of ideology.

The statements made by many MKO members imply the fact that Rajavi played the key role in the initiation of the ideological revolution within the organization completely disregarding views of other members at the leadership council. For example, Mehdi Abrishamchi asserted that the ideas of Rajavi would determine the ideology of MKO. He further referred to the necessity of an interpreter to analyze the ideology and concluded that nobody but Masoud was capable of serving this role in MKO and considered him as the sole solution for removing political and strategic stalemates that the organization would come to encounter. However, the fact is that Rajavi misused ideology and used it as a pretext to justify all his decision-makings, defeats and wrongdoings even those obviously opposed to law, logic, ethics, and religion. He even dissolved the democratic council of leadership due to ideological concerns. Evidently, the ideological revolution was put into effect to stabilize Rajavi’s leadership and hegemonic authority over MKO. To put it simply, ideological revolution allowed Rajavi to take the place of ideology in MKO. Mehdi Abrishamchi refers to this process of substitution by saying:

As much as a revolutionary organization is concerned, for the clarification of ideological boundaries, an ideological interpreter is to be introduced, a person who says the last word in the organization… It is Masoud who expounds on the ideology of the organization and thinks up novel ideas. 3

Therefore, all those witnessing the ideological revolution of Rajavi are unanimous that:

Settlement of leadership issue constitutes the heart of the ideological revolution. 4

Anne Singleton expounds on the primary motivation behind Rajavi’s labeling his revolution an ideological one and says:

The ideological revolution corresponds to the Rajavi’s objective for taking the position of an absolute totalitarian leadership within the organization. 5

She further explains the meaning conotated by the terms “ideology” and “ideological leadership”, stating:

They mean that the leadership dictates everything. Also, he is supposed to be spiritually free from errors in order to guarantee the absolute obedience of members and fulfillment of rules and regulations. 6

MKO implicated in AMIA bombing

Argentine envoy pledges justice for AMIA bombingtwo former Argentine government figures held a press conference implicating members of MEK – the People’s Mujahedin of Iran – in the bombing

MONTREAL — The Argentine government is determined to finally get to the bottom of the notorious bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires 14 years ago, the country’s consul general in Montreal said.

Pictured at the AMIA [Association Mutual Israelita Argentina] commemorationPictured at the AMIA commemoration are, from left, Argentine Consul General Guillermo Tagino, Cote St. Luc Mayor Anthony Housefather, Hampstead Mayor William Steinberg, D’Arcy McGee MNA Lawrence Bergman and Israeli Consul General Yoram Elron.

“Our AMIA victims have imposed on us a moral mandate to respect their memory and ensure our commitment and efforts to pursue, locate and condemn those responsible,” Guillermo Tagino said at a community commemoration at Congregation Dorshei Emet, held a day before the July 18 anniversary of the attack.

“In spite of the difficulties presented by the passage of time, our will to solve this brutal crime has not diminished.”

No one has ever been convicted for the crime, but in October, 2006, Argentine prosecutor Alberto Nisman formally charged the Iranian government, accusing it of directing Hezbollah to carry out the suicide bombing, which nearly razed the AMIA building, killing 85 and injuring several hundred.

Last March, two former Argentine government figures held a press conference implicating members of MEK – the People’s Mujahedin of Iran – in the bombing.

Yet those events seemed to serve as a reminder of the years of alleged incompetence, obfuscation, cover-up and corruption tied to the attack’s investigation under the governments of former Argentine presidents Carlos Menem and Nestor Kirchner (the current president is Kirchner’s wife, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner).

At one point, Menem was even accused of accepting a $10 million (US) bribe from the Iranian government to block the investigation, a charge that was adamantly denied by Menem.

A few years ago, Nestor Kirchner himself acknowledged his government’s culpability, calling it a “national disgrace.” Over the years, those allegedly linked to the bombing have ranged from Iran and Hezbollah to members of Buenos Aires’ own provincial police, La Bonaerense.

At the synagogue, Tagino said that the Argentine government “has recognized… the state’s responsibility for the consequences resulting from the cover-up of the facts and grave failure in the process of investigation.”

That government declaration to that effect, he said, was deemed “historic” by Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, particularly because it produced “a series of steps… to fully remove obstacles which hindered the investigation.”

Tagino continued: “In this way, the national state made a political decision to reach a definitive clarification of the attack and put forward all necessary resources towards this goal.”

He added that the country’s intelligence archives have been opened and “state secrecy lifted,” all of which is allowing access to documents that are crucial to the investigation.

He also lauded the Argentine justice department for welcoming the collaboration of Interpol in investigating the bombing, and he noted that Memoria Activa, a group committed to keeping the memory of the victims alive and lobbying for justice, has “recognized the progress made” over the last few months.

“The attack was against the entire Argentinian people, and there will be no respite” until justice is done,” Tagino pledged.

Among others paying tribute to the AMIA victims at the commemoration – co-sponsored by B’nai Brith Canada, Quebec region – were Israeli consul-general Yoram Elron, Liberal MNA Lawrence Bergman and B’nai Brith’s Moise Moghrabi. The names of the 85 victims were read aloud and the path from the synagogue’s doors to the speaking hall was marked by 85 yahrzeit candles.

Also supporting the event were Argentinian Jews of Montreal (JALOM), and the YM-YWHA.

Nejat Society Asks UK to Support Iraqi Government Plans for Camp Ashraf Victims

Iran-Interlink reporting from London – Nejat [Rescue] Society, an Iranian NGO, has sent a delegation to London to brief policy and decision makers, human rights organisations and media on the US army handover of the Mojahedin-e Khalq’s (MKO, MeK, NCRI, PMOI) military base, Camp Ashraf, to the Iraqi military on January 1st 2009.

Nejat delegation comprises: Mr. Babak Amin, Mr. Arash Sametipour, (former MKO-members), Mrs. Mahnaz Akafian Foroushani and Mrs. Narjes Khatoon Iranpour (relatives of Camp Ashraf captives). Their aim is to prevent further political abuse of the Mojahedin-e Khalq members in Camp Ashraf held captive by their leaders, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi.

In a meeting yesterday with Mr. Hugo Swire, MP, Chair of the Conservative Middle East Council and Chair of the UAE All-Party Group, Nejat delegates described the worsening human rights situation for the remaining captives inside Camp Ashraf.

In a meeting yesterday with Mr. Hugo Swire, MP, Nejat delegates described the worsening human rights situation for the remaining captives inside Camp Ashraf

Arash Sametipour said, “The Iraqi government has given guarantees that none of the captives will be forced to return to Iran against their wishes. The most serious threat to those left in Camp Ashraf comes from the MKO cult’s leaders, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. They will want to use their blood to extricate themselves from this crisis.”

Nejat is asking all UK agencies to cooperate with the Iraqi authorities to help restore basic human rights to the people trapped in Camp Ashraf.

Nejat’s demands are that:

1. A separate camp is re-opened adjacent to Camp Ashraf to which people can

escape and not be forced to continue as terrorists because there is no

alternative.

2. The gates of the camp should be opened to allow doctors, families and

humanitarian agencies free and unfettered access to the inmates.

Arash Sametipour said, “Every individual person in Camp Ashraf must be given the opportunity to decide for themselves – without pressure or interference from MKO personnel – whether to continue wearing military uniform, or to renounce violence and become civilians. The Iraqi authorities should open a separate camp where people can take refuge.”

Nejat Society believes the captives should be given access to external information, internet, radio, television, books, newspapers and conversation. Above all, the people in Camp Ashraf must be helped to contact their families and enjoy family visits as soon as possible.

“Contact with their families re-connects the cult member with their emotions and provides a normal, trustworthy frame of reference in which they can reassess what the cult is telling them,” explained Babak Amin.

Mrs. Iranpour told Mr. Swire, “I visited the camp twice to see my brothers but the Americans army takes orders from the cult leaders. Once the Iraqi government is in control of Camp Ashraf, I hope it will be possible to freely visit our loved ones again.”

Nejat Society is in London for two weeks.

The Ideology of the MEK

Where does really the legality of a fight to achieve power come from?

Naturally, for those who consider public opinion as the criterion for their legality or those who pretend as so in their propaganda, the legality of their struggle is due to the people’s support either direct or indirect.

It’s obvious that in societies where people can freely declare their idea the legality comes out of vote boxes but they don’t stop declaring their idea when the situation is not provided. The historical experience during all eras and in all nations has proved that if the people trust you, they declare their sympathy and support in any possible way. And, about this issue Lenin (if I’m not wrong) says:”while choking condition people vote with their feet.”

Therefore, if you are popular and if there is no way for declaration of public support, at least they whisper about you.

But there have been individuals and movements whose struggle against current regime has had no link to people’s opinion and their supposed legality came from their ideology and belief. Whenever the methodology of the ruling regime opposes their principals, that individual or movement needs to fight. Again if I’m not wrong ,Hassan Sabbah [the leader of Assassin cult who struggled against Arabic and Turkish occupiers of Iran] says:” the majority does not prove the legality”. here I want to protest against some of my dear friends who defected from Rajavi’s cult. Perhaps because of some apparent similarities between Hassan Sabbah’s group and a mercenary of Saddam or a low-ranking agent of foreigners [MKO], they compare them together. Even according to the confessions of the enemies of Hassan Sabbah, he was doubtlessly a great person looking for the independence of Iran from under the York of bondage of Caliphs of Bagdad and Turkish Seljukian.

At what I’m protesting is the proper “comparison”, since this comparison without regarding what its conclusion is, credits a servant whose serving role in two recent decades has been proven. So I have to say that: Hassan Sabbah whether rightly or wrongly ,”castrated” his followers in order to expel the foreigners but the servant “castrated “ in order to bring the foreigners and this is the substantial difference that no similarity can remove it.

Mujahedin does not fit any of the two parties (which both were in Iranian history) not the party that views legality as a fruit of majority and not the party of which the struggle is resulted by some principals based on an ideology and a doctrine.

MKO is neither Stalin nor Che guevara.

MKO is MKO. They are hypocrites since their main characteristic is working for foreigners so hard that they can’t seem to live without foreign support. Thus the main reason or factor that has made a hypocrite movement of them is their services to foreigners not for example their power seeking ambitions.

As I mentioned before, their propaganda claims that they have great support among people to deceive public thought and as they have always claimed “returning the right of governing to people is their main cause for struggle”.

The last time, one of the she-mercenaries of cult’s supreme leader, noted this case was yesterday.

The servant’s wife, as a deputy of him, declaring her satisfaction and appreciated the authorities for the ruling of British court based on removal of MKO from terror list, and also appreciating some parliamentarians (Lords or Commons) said that the terror label is an “injustice” against Iranian “people” and their ‘’resistance’’.

From the other side, she claimed that the principal solution for the West and Israel to achieve their strategic goals in the region and Iran is the removal of terrorist label from MKO.

The words of that low-ranking servant, makes this question in our minds that how it is possible that MKO is in terror list and this act is an “ injustice “ against Iranians but that nation not only protested this “injustice” but also they (about 70 million) didn’t say a word about it.

Can the Iranian Regime prevent people from whispering? if it is so , as the servant’s wife pretends, today that the court ruled that MKO is not terrorist ,we should witness the Iranians’ cheers of happiness because of the removal of the only obstacle in the way to freedom…not 70 millions people, should 7 million of them do that? How about 120 thousands people of 1.2 million Iranians living in the United States, I mean about 10 percent? How about 1 pecent, 12 thousand Iranians? Although the number is too small to show the attention of 70 million Iranians population for the destiny of “their” resistance, if even this small number in reality didn’t witnessed Aunt Maryam’s words we should ask that what kind of legal, just resistance it is that even a very tiny part of Iranian population pays no attention to its being or not being in terror list. The truth is that the majority of Iranians don’t know any thing about it.

Did the same nation remain un- informed when Mosadeq [the Iranian prime minister who nationalized Iranian Oil Industry during Pahlavi ‘s period] won the judgment in Den Haag Court?

Aren’t they the same people who declare their ideas and discuss President Bush or President Ahmadinejad’s speeches or Iranian Nuclear programs in their parties inside or outside Iran?

Why don’t the people discuss the denunciation made by MKO (spies!) as an “honorable” position taken by the ‘’righteous’’ resistance?

The Iranians talk about everything such as mark or type of toilet paper but not even a word about MKO and even if a person starts talking of MKO they will just insult it. So what kind of link is between a nation and an organized resistance with a forty-three year old history? It is a link that can only be seen by Rajavi.

But what is viewed by the others is that the resistance takes the signature of Western citizens using any kind of deceit and lie in order to solve Iranian problems!

If there was such a link, was it hard for the Iranians to show the world their support for their resistance?

Of course if there was really such a link and support, MKO wouldn’t need to lobby British court and parliaments and Iraqi cafés to look for support. The same nation could fund MKO thousands times as much as the money given to it by Western and Iraqi Intelligence Services. They could also dedicate their lives to MKO and Maryam.

Given, according to what MKO says there is a choking situation in Iran, how about abroad? Where are the people, who came to the streets in America and Europe while students’ uprisings in Iran in 1998, where are the people who called the TV and Radio stations and cried or shouted cheerfully …

Why don’t they come out for MKO?

Why don’t they show any sympathy for the disappearance of resistance leader?

But they actually have a feeling towards MKO and those who are like MKO, The feeling of hatred to a mercenary.

The Tude Party which was perhaps the biggest political socialist establishment in Iran during an especial period of time lost its base among people, because it didn’t engage to people. It is dead and it’s not important how late its dead body is wondering. MKO is the same as Tude. Their historical flight to Iraq graved a significant date on their tomb. Now, if not only 35 members of British parliament but also all members and all western countries including Israel (for whom the MKO is doing its best) gather together to shout hooray for MKO, the Iranians have no sympathy for them. If not only Fox News but also all American Israelis, Bengali… Medias publish propaganda for MKO, the Iranian people hate them. They can make no change in the hearts of Iranians who once gave their beloved children to MKO.

The people may forgive crime but they won’t forgive treason and betrayal.

Therefore whenever we witness that Iranians (at least a part of Iranians) have sympathy for MKO, then they can link their words to them…

But there is no more sympathy for MKO since wherever a nation had sadness Mujahedin cheered happily and wherever a nation had happiness they were sad. [After September 11th tragedy ,the mko terrorists shouted cheerfully in camp Ashraf! ]

While Saddam Hussein was killing and bombing Iraqi and Iranian people, MKO was cheering hooray and gathering intelligence for him.

Whenever they came to the streets cheering and dancing for their soccer team, MKO did its best writing letters for the removal of the team and prayed for the enemies of the team.

When the poor Iranians worry about financial sanctions MKO sends congratulations to those suffering people. When the people hear that the relations with western government are becoming normal and no war is on the way, they become happy while the MKO goes to a deep depression.

MKO is now polishing the boots of westerners instead of ruling over Iranians. They are so poor that if a retired sanitation worker from the west supports them, they put the news in three locations on their websites. None of these Lords, commons and courts equals the support of an Iranian Sanitation worker and if it was so the Mujahedin were not trying in vain.

Thus, when not only one person; only one person is ready to gather signatures for MKO or to come to the streets. Does MKO think that even after a war against Iran and after supposedly the removal of Islamic Regime, Iranians will welcome them?

Jordanian MPs advised not to attend PMOI conference

Jordanian MPs advised not to attend Iranian opposition conference in France

Text of report by Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustur on 7 December

Article by Dr Nabil al-Sharif: "This Is Not How Jordan’s Interests Are Served"

A number of members of the House of Representatives plan to accept the invitation of the organization Friends of Iran Committee at the EU to attend a conference that will be held in France to support the Iranian opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization [MKO]. Maryam Rajavi, leader of the MKO, will be a key speaker at the conference.

Around 40 MPs have been invited, and a number of them will attend this conference next week. In view of this, we have the right to ask about the benefit that our country will reap from these meetings.

Some members of the House of Representatives have previously accepted the MKO’s invitation to attend its conferences in the European capitals over the past months. Following every meeting, Iran used to summon our ambassador to Iran present to him an official note of protest at some Jordanian MPs’ attendance of a conference for an organization that opposes the Iranian regime. Also every time, the government used to reply that the House of Representatives is its own master and that the participation of MPs has nothing to do with the official Jordanian position.

However, the strangest thing is that some MPs have justified their participation in these conferences, from which Jordan does not reap any benefit, by saying that it is a "personal participation." Would these invitations, whose full expenses are borne by the inviting parties, have been sent to them had they not been members of the Jordanian house of Representatives?

It is time we spoke frankly about this issue, based on the fact that a member of parliament represents the Jordanian people in everything he says and does. When 30 or 40 MPs participate in any internal or external activity, then this definitely means that there is a certain official or popular position towards the issue in question, and the participants in these activities cannot weasel out of this by saying that they are only expressing a personal position. The only "benefit" that Jordan reaps from the participation of MPs in the MKO’s activities is straining relations with Tehran without any reason and laying obstacles to developing relations between the two countries.

We are not saying this in order to defend the positions of Iran, but we are saying it out of concern for Jordan’s interests. Had the disagreement with Iran been over principled issues, we would have blessed the positions of MPs and pressed on their hands in confronting Iran. However, we are faced with political (and not personal) positions, which are against Jordan and of which Jordan is innocent. What does more injustice to Jordan than this?

We continue to count on the wisdom of MPs and their loyalty, which we do not question, to Jordan’s interests. It is unreasonable that we should allow external parties, whatever their agendas, to infiltrate inside our parliament and to achieve their political objectives. The interest of Jordan should be our yardstick in everything we say or do.

Auver-sur-Oise

Maryam Garrison: Center for MKO’s crimes

In 1981, the terrorist cult of Mujahedin-e-Khalq officially started its armed struggle against the regime of Iran in order to achieve power. The cult of MKO which had cooperated with the Islamic regime in the post revolutionary phases of the formation of the regime finally broke down with the Islamic Republic and ended with an armed clash between the both sides.

Masud Rajavi, MKO’s guru, who claimed to be the first power, failed in all his tricks to gain political power in Iran, so in 1981 he declared his armed struggle against the Islamic regime. Then he fled Iran and settled in France together with his high ranking cult members. In France they resided in Auvers-Sur-Oise the small country side in the Province of Cergie Pontoise, where the cult leaders used as their headquarters to control their terrorist operations and also launch their political campaign and propaganda in the west.

However, some years later, Masud Rajavi was forced to leave France and inhabit in Iraq but Auvers-Sur-Oise has always had an active part in MEK’s terror acts.

During their three decades of terrorist activities, after the Islamic Revolution, the MKO has had two main bases:

1.    Camp Ashraf in Diyala Province, Iraq.

2.    Camp Maryam in Auvers-Sur-Oise, France.

Although, after the Masud Rajavi’s settlement in Iraq under Saddam Hussein’s support, Camp Ashraf was MKO headquarters to lead its terror activities, Camp Maryam in Auvers-Sur-Oise has also played an vital role for years.

After the fall of Saddam’s dictatorship and the disappearance of Masud Rajavi and the flee of Maryam Rajavi to France, Camp Maryam could find its central role once more.

Despite MKO’s designation as a terrorist organization by the EU, the French government has tolerated the existence of Mujahedin terrorist in French territory under the pretext of freedom and human rights.

But now, the human rights activists and freedom advocates are exactly asking for more control on Camp Maryam in France to stop human rights violations in the camp.

According to the testimonies made by former members of the cult, unfortunately it should be said that the cult officials’ behavior toward members is so violent and inhumane.

Since the most high ranking person in the cult is now Maryam Qajar Azdanlu (Rajavi), Masud Rajavi’s wife, the direct responsibility of the committed crimes is on her. It should be noted that the cult members consider Maryam Rajavi as the second leader and Masud Rajavi’s co leader.

Let’s have a look at the condition of captured ones in Camp Maryam and view the cases of human rights violations there:

1.    The residents of Camp Maryam, in France, are completely under the control of Maryam Azdanlu (Rajavi) and the high commandants, having no free will to decide and behave freely. They are under intensive supervision.

2.    They are never allowed to leave the camp except in group and by the permission of officials of the cult.

3.    They have no access to mass media except MKO’s TV channels.

Note: The political teams of MEK who work on political affairs are only allowed to have the access to a limited number of TV, Radio or websites that have already been assigned by the leaders.

4.    They are never allowed to contact their families and to get married.

Note: The only married person in the cult is Maryam Qajar.

5.    No man or woman has the right to discuss the social or political issues with the other one.

6.    The men are not allowed to sit at the same table where the women have their meals.

7.    The restrooms, bedrooms, bathrooms… in camp Maryam is separated for male and female members and no one is allowed to enter the places allocated to the opposite sex.

8.    Sexual relationships are forbidden in the cult of Rajavi.

9.    The 24 hours of a day are completely scheduled. There is no free time or free will for the individuals so as they have even no opportunity to think of anything except the organization and its ideology.

10. The mentally captured ones in the cult of Rajavi suffer mental problems due to extreme mental pressure and they need psychological treatments.

11. In Camp Maryam there are some individuals who have never left the camp for years, they are actually imprisoned.

12. Camp Maryam residents are forced to attend meetings every night and give a report on their activities and declare their loyalty to the cult regulations.

13. The manipulation meetings which are held daily in Camp Ashraf  are usually accompanied with violence, insulting the members and even sometimes beating them.

14. Every week, mostly on Friday, the officials hold weekly meetings where the member has to confess the moments of his sexual thoughts…

15. Although the camp is protected by French police, all the walls are coveredwith the barbed wires.

16. The main commander of the camp is Maryam Rajavi who enjoys a God-like personality and nobody has the right to disagree her. The ruling ordered by her are considered as the God’s rules and must be obeyed.

17. More and more, the camp is expanded because the MKO is transferring the most reliable Ashraf residents to France. Maryam Rajavi ordered to buy the neighboring houses in order to add them to the camp.

18. Most captured members of the cult are ready to commit suicide operations and self-immolations in France or elsewhere in Europe.

One should not forget that the horrible camp Maryam is located in the soil of a country which the authorities claim it to be the cradle of democracy and human rights.

Are the French authorities aware of the crimes committed in Camp Maryam, Auvers-Sur-Oise or because of their political interest have they closed their eyes to the facts?

All civil, human rights activists and institutions should warn the French government of the crimes committed in camp Maryam in order to prevent a human catastrophe happening. They have to close down the camp.
