Paris court summons two Mojahedin Khalq members

A French court has summoned two MKO members who incited one of the group’s supporters to set herself on fire in a June 2003 protest.

The 55-year-old Mahmoud Alami and 51-year-old Hossein Amini-Qolipour who are the members of the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) were summoned to face charges of encouraging a woman to commit suicide.

The MKO staged a protest in June 2003 against the French police raid on the MKO Headquarters in Paris.

Three MKO members committed suicide by fire during the protest held one day after the group’s leader Maryam Rajavi was arrested by the French police.

There are videos showing Alami and Amin-Qolipour buying gasoline near the demonstration site and giving it to Sediqeh Mojaveri who killed herself in the protest.

MKO terrorists tried and appealed in France

Mahmood Aemi (with two false identities of Mahmoud Alami and Mohsen Abbasi) and Hossein Amini Gholipour were brought to trial for cheating their friends to set themselves on fire.

Two notorious MKO elements appeared before the Court of Appeal of Paris on Friday for "incitement to suicide" after the death of one of their compatriots who had immolated by fire in June 2003 in Paris during a demonstration against the arrest of Maryam Rajavi (one of MKO cult leaders).

On November 21, 2007, the Paris Criminal Court had acquitted Mahmood Aemi and Hossein Amini Gholipour, both members of the MKO terrorist group.

The court held that there was "no doubt" the fact that both defendant had "directly and personally delivered the victim the gas can she was sent to death with.

The prosecution, which called for a two-year suspended sentence against the two men, had appealed. Friday at the hearing, the Crown has tightened his submissions, asking the court to impose sentences of three years’ imprisonment.

M. Aemi and H.Gholipour were referred to court in 2006 on suspicion of inciting Sedighe Modjaveri, another MKO member living in Europe, to commit suicide by giving her a gas can at an event June 18, 2003.

It is worth mentioning that Mahmoud Aemi (member of MKO central cadres) is known as the Rajavi’s army commander in the massacre of Iraqi Kurds and has been a commander of MKO death squads against the MKO dissociated members in the Europe.

Statement of De-Baathification Campaign against MKO

Issuing a statement the Iraqi anti-Baathist movement declared yesterday: “According to the investigations by the responsible Iraqi security systems, MKO (a.k.a MEK, PMOI, NCRI…) terrorist cult was involved in the recent explosion in the Iraqi city of Khalis which led to the death and injury of dozens of innocent people of the region.”

In this statement, a copy of which was sent to Habilian Association, the anti-Baathist movement urged the active Iraqi political groups to take immediate and explicit position against the terrorist MKO cult.

The full text of this statement is as follows:

MKO presence in Iraq is the flagrant violation of the Iraqi constitution
The anti- Baathist movement asks for all political groups active in Iraq to take an immediate and explicit position against the MKO and to try to end this terrorist organization’s unwanted presence in Iraq, especially now that it’s hidden to no one the heavy costs of damage it has imposed to the Iraqi people, the very recent of which was targeting dozens of innocent people in a brutal explosion in the city of Khalis.

Initial information suggests that the name of the group was listed in the research results of the security forces about the explosion led to the martyrdom and injury of dozens of peoples in the region.

MKO presence in Iraq is an obvious interference in the internal affairs of our friendly neighboring country and a blatant violation of the Iraqi constitution based on which the presence of hostile terrorist organizations which act against the other countries from inside Iraq is illegal.

As the anti-Baathist movement of Iraq and regarding the necessity of protecting the nation’s achievements and its strategic interests, we demand the Iraqi government to set in motion the expulsion of MKO terrorist group from Iraq as soon as possible and to end the file of a terrorist cult which has caused serious damages to our nation and spilt a lot of blood in suppressing the Shiites Intifada and massacre of Iraqi Kurds and hiding the mass graves of the innocent people in Diyala province.

Immediate trial of this organization or its instant dismissal from Iraq is the least we could do in return for the blood of those who have been martyred by this terrorist cult.

MKO million dollar supporter’s defeat in Iraq’s elections

One of those who in recent years provided MKO with comprehensive support in Iraq and praised the terrorist cult in every opportunity is Ayad Jamal al-Din, a notorious backer of MKO who is on his last legs of presence in the Iraqi parliament. The out of favor Iraqi cleric was badly defeated in the parliamentary elections and despite the heavy costs of millions of dollars for the elections neither him nor any other members of his list named “Ahrar movement” found a way to the parliament.

Anti-Iranian attitude
Having spent 16-year of clerical studies in Iran, Jamal al-Din declared in an interview with Al-Arabia satellite channel late last march that “if I had the authority I would have provided MKO with much more freedom of action to make them an active opposition against the ruling regime in Iran”.

Jamal al-Din always calls members of the sect as protected persons under the Fourth Geneva Convention and claims that nobody has the right to forcefully relocate them inside Iraq and that such a relocation is prohibited according to international laws and regulations. “We should support the MKO and let them have satellite television in Iraq” he also argues.

In a different interview with “Alaan” network, the zealous advocate of MKO reveals how he looks at the MKO as a tool for putting pressure on Iran and says: “MKO would be the first pressuring tool I would use against Iran as soon as I seize the power in Iraq.”

In a so-called conference for supporting MKO presence in Iraq held in camp Ashraf in 2008, MKO announced they have collected about 3 million signatures from Iraqi people to stay in Iraq. At the same conference Ayad Jamal al-Din addressed the Islamic Republic of Iran with an offensive literature and expressed his full support for Rajavis’ cult which was welcomed by the cult members.

Scandalous defeat in Iraq’s elections
Ayad Jamal al-Din, who was absolutely sure of his victory in Iraq’s parliamentary elections, spent about a hundred million dollars for his political movement and even chose the advertising team of his campaign from London and applying modern campaigning methods he was prepared for celebrating his victory.
But how could a political figure that would talk of Iranian interference in Iraq and the need to legally support a terrorist group be successful in Iraq even by exorbitant spending for his political organization?

About 12 million Iraqis participated in march7, 2010 parliamentary elections in Iraq which equals 62 percent of those qualified for voting. This is while Jamal al-din’s movement gained merely 48 thousands of the total number which is something less than %0.5 of the total number. So, in spite of all the money he spent for buying votes, neither the pro-MKO cleric nor any other members of his movement could find a way to the parliament.

Of course it’s hidden to nobody that in pro-democracy countries like Iraq one cannot expand terrorism and support terrorist groups such as MKO under the cover of nice words like human rights…

Iraqis demand MKO’s ouster by next Iraqi government

The Iraqi people in the city of Al-Khalis in Diyala province call on the future Iraqi government to expel the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq (MKO) group from the country as soon as possible.

The people of Al-Khalis urged the next government to expel the members of terrorist MKO group, stationed in Camp Ashraf in Diyala province. They said the MKO’s case was resolved through the country’s constitution and the group had no place in Iraq, Iran’s Mehr News Agency quoted Nahrain news website as saying.

The local officials and the citizens of Al-Khalis have clung to the hope that the “State of Law” coalition and “National Coalition Government” will prepare the ground to expel of the terrorist group, if they win the election, Al-Khalis governor’s office said.

Meanwhile, a leader of Badr Organization, Abbas Al-faridavi in Diyala Province reiterated that the MKO group is behind the assassination of Shia leaders and innocent citizens of Diyala and that many complaints have been lodged against them, but since the courts of the province had surrendered to the Baath and MKO groups, none of the complaints were investigated.

The MKO was allowed by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to build a camp in eastern Iraq near the Iranian border in 1986 in order wage war and terror on Iran. Iraqis say that the MKO also helped Saddam in killing and spying against his opponents. The group remained under the protection of US-led forces after the invasion of the country in March 2003.

The group is responsible for numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials as well as Iraqis during the rein of Saddam.

After the American forces handed over the security of Camp Ashraf to the Iraqi government, the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki decided to relocate the MKO group to a remote detention facility in the southern parts of Iraq as a prelude to their expulsion.

The decision was reportedly hampered by the intervention of pro-Israeli US congressmen, who called on the President Barack Obama to stop the relocation of MKO members.

Documents confirm the illegality of MKO presence in Camp Ashraf

After investigations by the Iraqi Minister of Human Rights, Minister Salim said that the presence of the residents of Camp Ashraf in Iraq is illegal. She stressed that the Iraqi government will deal with them in a purely humanitarian manner, and added that since 2003 it has secured the freedom of 300 of them who wanted to leave the camp.

In a statement summarised by al-sabaah newspaper, Minister Salim said that the government is dealing with the residents of the camp in Diyala province, members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, in a humane fashion. The absence of any official documents in their files of applications for asylum is an indication of the illegality of their presence in Camp Ashraf. However, between 2003 until the end of 2009, 300 have left the camp of their own free will and returned to their own country.

Minister Salim said that delegations from the Human Rights Ministry visit the camp from time to time to review the conditions of its population in coordination with the offices of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations. In less than a year, 36 people have asked to leave the camp under the direct supervision of the Ministry. They asked to return to Iran without any influence from government bodies and they were brought to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which took responsibility for them.

For decades the MKO have been in this camp and have not been regarded as refugees. Now neither the UNHCR nor the International Organization for Migration deal with them on that basis and refuse to cooperate with them. The Ministry has addressed these organisations formally more than once in order to lend a helping hand to them, but they always affirm in their responses that that the MKO is a military organization and has not demilitarized. They can only deal with them once they leave the camp and claim civilian protection.

Minister Salim explained that the laws and agreements on the protection of populations who seek protection on the grounds of suffering because of armed conflicts or war do not apply to them because they are not in a nation in war or conflict.

Minister Salim indicated that since the beginning of the SOFA with the United States which transferred responsibility for the camp from the Americans to the Iraqis, the legal situation has changed completely for them. In particular after review of the records and papers which exist, officials did not find any requests for asylum or protection or evidence that their presence is in any way legal.

Minister Sailm said that in general it is necessary to deal with them in a spirit of humanity and not to deport them to countries where they may be exposed to harm or torture, asserting that the Iraqi government has committed itself to this principle. She expressed surprise at their refusal to be moved to another location which provides services and care since they have not rented and nor do they own the land they currently occupy.

MKO teams arrested ahead of Iranian Fire Festival

Two terrorist teams belonging to the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, aka MEK/PMOI) were arrested Tuesday.

The teams, one of whom known as Tondar, plotted to make terror attacks in the Iranian Fire Festival on the last Tuesday night of the year.

There were guns, Molotov cocktails, wireless communication devices, satellite mobile phones, etc. found in the team house belonging to the arrested.

The detained MKO members confessed they had plotted to assassinate civilians, set fire on banks, government departments, etc. this Thursday night.

Iran says US-backed cyber network busted
In 2006, the US Congress allocated 400 million dollars to former US President George W. Bush to increase covert operations against Iran, according to the New Yorker’s Seymour Hersh.

The Judiciary said Saturday it has identified and dismantled a US-backed cyber network, which was set up to gather information on the country’s nuclear scientists and spread unrest after the presidential election.

In a statement, the Judiciary said the group had been established by anti-Iran groups, including the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO). It added that some of the prime suspects linked to the group were identified and about 30 of them have been arrested.

According to the New Yorker’s Seymour Hersh, former US President George W. Bush funded a major escalation of covert operations against Iran, allocating up to four hundred million dollars to "destabilize the country’s religious leadership."

The Judiciary said, under Bush’s Presidential Finding, a new campaign in the intelligence front — called the "cyber war" — was set up to engage Iran, with the help of the MKO, pro-monarchy groups and other anti-Iran cells.

One of the main projects of the campaign, the statement said, was a program called "Iran Proxy," which received a funding of 50 million dollars from the CIA and the US State Department.

The program, which allowed Iranians bypass the state’s filtering system and access the Internet, was designed to "obtain personal and family information" of its users and pass them along to US spy agencies, the statement said.

Another major project of the campaign, it said, was a network called "Human Rights Activists," which was led by Keyvan Rafiei, Jamal Hosseini and Ahmad Batebi.
The network was tasked with recruiting people and sending them to an MKO camp in Iraq and other countries, where they would receive training, the statement said.
The network was also in close cooperation with "Lawyers Committee" and "Harana News service," it said.

The network, according to the confession of its arrested members, was also tasked with inviting people to attend illegal rallies and riots in the aftermath of the presidential election in June.

They also spread rumors about the number of people who were killed during the unrest, saying there had been seventy-two victims.

The network also sought to provide cover for armed acts against the Islamic Republic establishment, the statement said.

The Judiciary added that the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) had been briefed on the situation and key members of the campaign, who reside in the United States, had been introduced to the force.

New regulation of “no questions” forced inside the MKO camp in Iraq

Following the report of December 24, 2009 entitled “New wave of dissatisfaction and disarray in Camp Ashraf”

in which information from within camp Ashraf was given to the families of the victims of the Rajavi cult, we would like to announce that a significant and growing number of the forces inside Ashraf Garrison are now dissatisfied. They have serious doubts and questions about the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation and its leadership. They do not have complete trust in the organisation anymore. This has resulted in the creation of a widening gap between the leadership and the body of the organisation inside the camp. The growing unrest can be seen from the rapidly growing number of slogans being written clandestinely on the walls in public places inside the camp against the Mojahedin Organisation and its leadership.

Members now ask questions about their doubts over the past years of practices of the Mojahedin organisation and its leadership. The unlimited questions cover many aspects of the past practices which of course are all left unanswered and no commander is ready to even tackle any of them.

This has resulted in many members effectively leaving the organisation, but the Leaders and the commanders do not allow them get out of the camp and have in fact imprisoned them inside the camp. The organisation of course has a history of refusing its members to even leave the camp for a few hours in order to meet and visit their families.

Rajavi has recently been trying to calm the members by diverting their attention with a series of messages and propaganda tapes. The messages clearly forbid any questioning in any field by any member. Alongside this, members are now forced to do hard physical labour including agricultural, production and services for unlimited hours. This is believed to be affecting the mental judgement of the members as the creation of exhausting fatigue renders them unable to think about their problems and questions. According to reports coming out of the camp this practice of exhaustion is even more useful in the case of the known members who have been identified as disaffected.

Sahar Family Foundation in Baghdad is urging the international community, human rights organisations as well as the authorities in the Iraqi Government and Western governments to look at the situation of Ashraf Garrison and stop the dangers posed by the leaders of the group against the people residing there. Sahar Family Foundation is announcing as it has always announced before its willingness to help and cooperate with Iraqi and International bodies in this humanitarian mission.

MKO-linked spies arrested in Qom

Spies connected with the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, aka MEK/PMOI) were arrested in Qom, deputy public prosecutor of the city informed.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mahmoud Talebi Wednesday told media that “a number of MKO-linked spies have been arrested by Qom security agents in the last few months,” Habilian Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website quoted IRNA as reporting.

“Based on confidential documents, the people were proven to commit crimes including disturbing national security, fighting against the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader and inciting people according to the MKO’s purposes,” he said, not revealing the number of the arrested.

“Some of the arrested were directly connected with the MKO and shuttling between Camp Ashraf and Iran,” Talebi added.

He said the cases of the arrested are “under investigation”.
