Mujahedin-e Khalq former members gathered together to discuss the activities and achievements of the group during the last thirty years.
Members of Yaran-e Iran association analyzed the MKO’s function since the group’s moving to Iraq, its relocation from Camp Ashraf to Camp Liberty and then its expulsion from the country.
Participants who have spent long years of their lives within the Cult affairs, criticized the group’s leader efforts to pretend the forced relocation to Tirana as “A Great Victory”.
Mr. Ghafour Fatahian referred to Maryam Rajavi’s last year remarks demanding the US to rearm the group and her efforts to change Camp Liberty from a Temporary Transit Location to a Refugee Camp and said the group was forced to leave the Iraqi territory, so there is no victory for the group.

Participants at the rally declared their support for the MKO hostages’ families’ certain right of visiting their loved ones. Sympathizing with the suffering families, they urged the human rights bodies to facilitate their visit with their beloved family members.
They also warned Europe about the threat of the MKO destructive cult entry and spread through their states.
The MKO destructive cult is spreading throughout Europe as its members who are under severe Cult manipulations are entering Europe, ex-members reiterated.

The participants who had all spent many years within the Cult affairs, shared their experiences.
They analyzed Massoud Rajavi’s three decade of wrong policies and analysis in Iraq.
They also reviewed the MKO Cult’s expulsion from Iraq, relocation in Albania and its consequences and how the Cult leaders deal with this issue.
The MKO critics denounced the Cult’s efforts to deceive the public opinion into considering this strategic”great defeat”as a”great victory”.
The participants also examined the bright horizons ahead of MKO dissatisfied members in Albania who are awaiting an opportunity to leave the group.

Three weeks after former Saudi intelligence head Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud attended a rally for the Iranian opposition group Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK) and called for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Maryam Rajavi in Paris.
A meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Maryam Rajavi in Paris has sparked both Iranian and Palestinian suspicion about Saudi Arabia’s ties to the Palestinian Authority.
According to the MEK, the meeting took place to discuss fighting fundamentalism and terrorism in the region. Iran, which accuses the MEK of being behind assassinations and bombings resulting in the deaths of thousands 
over the last 37 years, criticized the meeting. “[Abbas’] problem is that he does not focus on pursuing the rights of the Palestinian people,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the former deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs and current foreign policy adviser to parliament Speaker Ali Larijani. He called the meeting “support for terrorism” and said that it will neither weaken Israel nor liberate Jerusalem. Hossein Sheikholeslam, an adviser for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said that the MEK is supported by the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia and called Abbas a “puppet of America.”
Iran is one of the main sponsors of the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) rivals for power in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. According to Fars News Agency, a coalition of Palestinian groups condemned Abbas’ meeting. A statement by the group read that the meeting can only hurt relations between Palestinian groups and Iran, which has helped Palestinian resistance groups more than Arab countries have since the 1979 revolution. The statement viewed Abbas’ meeting as being in line with Saudi policies in the region, and given the recent closeness between Saudi Arabia and Israel, “the negative consequences of this action will be a hundred fold.” Ten Palestinian groups, most notably the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which has close ties to Iran, signed the statement.
A number of Iranian analysts viewed the meeting as an extension of the Saudi-Iranian regional rivalry. An article in Mehr News concluded that the meeting was the result of either pressure applied by Saudi Arabia or Abbas’ “welcoming dance for Riyadh” to strengthen ties between Saudi and the PA. Despite Iran’s support for resistance groups in Palestine, the article continued, Iran has never taken an official position against the PA. In fact, the leaders of the Islamic Republic closed the Israeli Embassy after the 1979 revolution and handed it over to a Palestinian delegation led by PLO leader Yasser Arafat. In the face of regional and international pressure, reported the Mehr article, Iran has supported Palestinian groups as one of the goals of the revolution.
In an article for BBC Persian, Mehrdad Farahmand wrote that some politicians meet with MEK members and take pictures with their leaders, but have little knowledge of their background. However, given Abbas’ history of political activity, he could not be unaware of MEK’s own history. Farahmand wrote that before the 1979 revolution, MEK fighters had trained in Lebanon with Fatah, the political party that Abbas now leads. The two groups had also reportedly fought together with Iraqi troops during the Iran-Iraq War. Regarding the meeting, he found, given Faisal’s attendance at the MEK rally and the Saudi media’s wide coverage and support of the Paris event, it is natural to assume that they are investing in groups opposed to Iran.

A number of former members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/MEK/the Cult of Rajavi) distributed thousands of booklets, journals, brochures, flyers and posters in Paris.
The defectors of the Cult sought to illuminate hundreds of thousands European citizens who have come to France for Euro Cup 2016, on the true face of the MKO as a terrorist destructive cult.
They launched their campaign to denounce the MKO at different streets and squares and locations including universities, churches, art centers, Eiffel tower, Justice Palace and the City Hall.
Survivors of the Cult of Rajavi handed out dozens of the book “Mujahedin Khalq, a cult in the heart of Paris” written by the French Senator Ms. Nathalie Goulet.
The defectors’ effort to enlighten the European citizens about the threat of the terrorist cult of Rajavi in Europe, was welcomed by the citizens.
Regarding that the MKO was launching its so-called annual Great Gathering on July 9th in Paris, defectors worked hard to warn Europe about the reality of the Mujahedin Khalq, the undemocratic atmosphere ruling this cult and its dark history of violence and human rights abuse.
They want Europe to beware that the MKO cult is neither a political movement nor an opposition group; it’s just a destructive cult that has tricked and victimized some of Iranian youth under its inhumane brainwashing and mind control system.
The large-scale campaign to denounce the MKO cult was going on in Paris and its suburb for more than a week.
Former members of MKO Cult and the group leaders’ critics staged rally in Paris
Defectors and critics of Mujahedin-e Khalq Cult held the protest gathering in Paris Chatelet square on Saturday, July9th, Yaran-e Iran Website reported.
The protest gathering lasted from 11 AM to 4 PM. Defectors of the group who had lost many years of their lives within the cult affairs revealed the group’s true face.
Recounting their ordeals, ex-members exposed the deceptive, inhumane and cultic nature of the MKO. The action welcomed by French citizens as well as Iranians residing there.
Ms. Batoul Soltani, Ms. Homeira Mohammadnejad, Ms. Zahra Moeini and Mr. Issa Azadeh as first hand witnesses, shared their experiences within the cult with the spectators.
Besides, Human rights activists, defectors and critics of Mujahedin-e Khalq cult gathered together at evening of the same day in order to shed light on the true face of Rajavis’ Cult.
Mr. Mostafa Mohammadi whose daughter is held hostage by the MKO, Ms. Batoul Soltani, Ms. Homeria Mohammadnejad, MS. Zahra Moeini, Mr. Aliakbar Rastgou, Mr. Mohammadhussein Sobhani and Mr. Gholam husseinnejad addressed the audiences.
The event took place the same day the MKO Cult held its anniversary propaganda show.
