Nejat Society Letter to the President Jalal Talibani

Dear Mr. President Jalal Talibani Nejat Society congratulates you on your being elected as the president of Iraq. Also, we are pleased with the appointment of Mr.Javad Al-Maleki as the Prime minister of Iraq to organize the Iraqi Cabinet. We hope that the new cabinet, with the cooperation of Iraqi people could provide a bright and dynamic future for Iraqi nation, which was under the boots of the dictator –Saddam Hussein- and his terrorist accomplices for a long time.

Nejat Society wishes Iraqi Government to provide security in the whole country and could progress in cultural, social, political and economical domains. The Iraqi state can prevent all the foreigners and terrorist groups from intervening in Iraqi affairs. Since Iraq has suffered a lot from terrorist groups (ei- Mujahedin –e-khalq and its leader, Masud Rajavi); including the mass murder of Iraqi Shiites and Kurds in 1991.

It is proper that the current state decides definitely to expel this terrorist cult out of Iraqi territory and makes the deceived members of the cult return their homeland, Iran, and join their families .Also it is fair to try the leaders of the terrorist cult Mujahedin Khalq in Iraqi courts along with Saddam Hussein and punish them on their anti human crimes.

With Best Regards

Good Terrorist and Bad Terrorist?

Mr. Jack Layton, Leader of NDP

House of Commons

Ottawa, ON K1A 0A6

Dear Mr. Layton,

GOOD TERRORIST AND BAD TERRORIST?

We would like to request you to address the Iranian Community’s concerns regarding the reality that certain members of the Conservatives and Liberal Caucuses are receiving support from and meeting regularly with an exile group of Iranians aligned with Neo -Cons in the U.S. Indeed, given that the group previously acted under the patronage of Saddam Hussein,. The group is despised by mainstream Iranians residing in Canada, as well as in Iran, ordinary citizens and political activists.

The organizations is so called Mojahedin Khalq (MKP) and/or the National Council of Resistance of Iran (N.C.R.I). Nonetheless, they habitually assume given names to elude the authorities of countries in which they are active.

The number of occasions on which Liberal or Conservative members of Parliament have met with this organization are numerous, and include, but are not restricted to the followings:

1. December 18, 2005: Two Conservatives member of Parliaments (MPs) and one independent flew to Toronto to attend a conference organized and attended exclusively by members of the Mojahedin at the Colony Hotel in Toronto. The Four MPs consisting of Stockwell Day, Paul Forseth, Yasmin Ratansi , and David Killgour all spoke and endorsed the idea of regime change in Iran by military force.

2. March 31, 2006: Yasmin Ratansi; Jim Karygiannis; Susan Kadis; and Bryon Wilfert attended a meeting organized and attended exclusively by members of the Mojahedin organization. In fact, Yasmin Ratansi and Bryon Wilfert decided to ignore a meeting arranged by mainstream Iranians and decided instead to only attend this meeting. Such as they did at a forum by four parties candidates on election on Jan 9, 06.

As such, while it is understandable that reasonable people will disagree about the proper definition to be accorded terrorists, given that this is an organization listed as terrorist by the Canadian Government, suggests that these Members of Parliament have taken it upon themselves to distinguish between good and bad terrorists.

For example, how is it that Foreign Minister Mackay can state "not a red cent to "Hamas" and decide to withhold funding from the Palestinian territories, while other Members of Parliament meet with the terrorist organization members right here in our own backyard. To put it differently, am I the only person who finds it hypocritical that Mr. Stockwell Day who is the current Minister of Public Safety has no misgivings about dealing with a terrorist organization?

It is important to note that, the vast majority of Iranian-Canadians residing in this country loathe the Mojahedin. While the majority of Iranians fled Iran to escape theocrats authoritarian regime, the Ayatollahs, they have the same tolerance for the Mojahedin.. The reasons for such hatred are, after all, quite obvious and understandable. Because the organization is undemocratic and sectarian that practicing violence. Such reputable organizations as Human Rights Watch have recently dedicated two studies to cataloguing serious violation of Human Rights and crimes undertaken by this organization.

Statement on Responses to Human Rights Watch Report on Abuses by the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) (February 5, 2006)

Human Rights Abuses Inside the Mojahedin Khalq Camps (May 2005)

As Iranian-Canadians, we expect our government in Ottawa to make good on its promise of supporting democracy. As members of Canadian society we are wedded to the understanding that democracy in Iran will not be achieved by resorting to military action or supporting proxy organizations such as the Mojahedin.

Our appeal is simple, respect the views of Iranian-Canadians. Do put pressure on the ruling clergies to respect freedom of speech and free all the prisoners of conscious, seeking justice for Zahra Kazemi and respect the Human Rights and democracy. Democracy in Iran will not achieved by the military actions. Any government that turns a blind eye to atrocities that are blatant violations of human rights, is an accessory to these acts. May we point out after more than 53 years Iranian have still not forgotten the U.S. led coup in 1953 against the democratically elected government of Dr. Mohammad Mosadegh.

With the hope of your immediate consideration,

Yours truly

Mujahedin Khalq 's Function

This Small Gang of New York!

Mojahedin-e khalq held a rally in New York but the number of the participants was so small that there was no report or photo of it on different websites of Mojahedin; only one website gave a brief report on the gathering.

***

42 members and supporters of terrorist organization of Mojahedin-e Khalq gathered in front of United Nations building in New York on April 28.

Maryam Rajavi, who’s added requesting a seat in the UN to her ambitions in order to boost the morale of her forces, is trying to give credibility to her dreams by expressing them through Canadian MP Meili Faille.

Rajavi asked Americans again for mercy and requested the removal of her band from terror list.

What is important is that no one of members of congress who are apparently supporters of MKO came to the rally; they only sent short messages saying they were "with them"! Observers believe that taking part in MKO’s gathering equals their political death. They also say that politicians refuse to participate in MKO’s meetings because the group is incredible and that the outcomes are grave.

However, the major sponsors of MKO’s gathering with only 42 participants were the members of a pro-Israeli so-called "American Committee for Democracy in the Middle East".

Zucker (who had earlier sent MKO’s message of preparedness for cooperation to Israeli officials), James Collins and other members of this Zionist lobby tried to boost the morale of Rajavi’s gang and kept them up.

Alireza Jafarzadeh, who got nothing from commenting on Middle East affairs in the Fox News and was not able to save his masters, showed his real face again and spoke among the MKO members.

Meanwhile, MKO’s stupid propaganda system published an expensive ad in Washington Times, claiming that 200 Iranian associations have asked for the removal of MKO’s name from terror list.

The benefit of publishing these ads is more important for Washington Times than the accuracy of the contents of the ads themselves. However, if these fabricated associations had each sent at least one representative to New York to take part in MKO’s rally, then there would have been no need for the group to ask for the help of Israelis and Washington Times.

Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

Iranian Oppositions, US’s Burnt Cards

Al-Ahram Newspaper on Monday pointed to the efforts of the U.S. to use Iranian opposition groups for its own goals against Iran and said these groups are "burnt cards" in US’s hand.

"It seems that U.S. President George W. Bush didn’t take lesson from what has happened in Iraq and can’t exit from its current framework of wrong logics," Al-Ahram added.

Sami Al-Qamhawi wrote that Bush, following his practices in Iraq, tries to use Iranian opposition groups to achieve the goals of Washington.

"Meanwhile, all evidences indicate that Americans’ dreams are far from coming true, because there is a big difference between Iran and Iraq, either in the number of opposition groups and in ruling system of the country."

Egyptian writer, Qamhawi, reminds in his article that the U.S. started supporting Iranian opposition groups, particularly those in Europe and U.S., a few years ago; these groups now try to take the same role Iraqi oppositions had in encouraging the west to attack Iraq.

"This is not the first time the U.S. prepares propagandistic activities for Iranian opposition groups," Qamhawi adds.

"This is not restricted only to propaganda in the West; Iranian opposition groups are also trying to expand their activities through internet and U.S.-based TV stations.

U.S. efforts indicate that Washington is not aware of Iranians agreement with their leaders especially on the nuclear issues."

Qamhawi concludes: "What’s important is that the U.S. is ignoring the fact that current government of Iran came out from ballot boxes."

The cult of Rajavi

Control of The Power

The organization even inside itself had the children who were studying at schools work in ordinary jobs. After a time, in their own relations, they introduced ranks to them.

Children before reaching their teens, most of them being under influence, wore military uniforms and fought  together with the Rajavi’s forces against the enemy.

It is essential for the organization to make its supporters adopt the ideals they bore as their own, appoint a target for them, make them stronger and try to protect them against being disconcerted by taking every kind of precaution. In this way it needs to make use of the energy of its supporters at the ultimate level.

However, the organization tries to remove its supporters from their homes by cutting their family bounds because in their opinion family relations alienate the supporters from the organization and fighting.

Consequently, in their opinion, family is a factor which weakens one in fighting. For them, people who leave their wives or husbands and children to join the organization have ideological superiority over the others.

These are presented as strong people. In connection with people who have family loyalty and emotional relations are accepted to make up the weak power.

Because these feelings become permanent in time by means of the family and cause problem in the organization. But the people who labour in the organization in spite of their family relations are respected highly. In this case, the organization carries out the control duty of the individuals in the family and the affairs of the organization are accomplished with the help of them.

People who intend to fight and struggle join the organization by means of communications and several charms and become permanent forces.

But most of the forces are attracted with more complex methods and the targets of the war are appointed to them in the organization. The life styles of the people who join the organization change in many ways.

The organization treats the people who haven’t joined them yet tenderly and emotionally as a result of their experience. But after they join the organization, walls are built all around them and their roads to return are blockaded.

In fact, there are not any ways other than joining the Organization for the individuals. In the organization the members have to betray and torment their wives in order to prove their authority and loyalty on the subject of divorcing.

Also had a similar strategy followed in his prisons. He told the prisoners to kill or torture their warrior friends for their repentance to be admitted.

Former members of the MEK

Paris Meeting

Former members of the MKO have published the names of nearly 100 victims in the MKO: interview with a former member

Now the former members of the MKO in Paris have published a pamphlet containing the names and details of nearly 100 members who they claim were killed by the MKO- under torture, by hanging, forced to commit suicide or had suspicious deaths.

Karim Haghi, former member of the MKO, said to Radio Farda: "the names have been gathered in a pamphlet, which was published in both Farsi and French by Iran-Peyvand Association."

"

Former members and families of MKO commemorated the victims of internal suppression in MKO on 8th of April. We have decided to hold the ceremonies annually and commemorate those who were killed innocently and in loneliness," he added.

Ali Sajjadi (Radio Farda): in the final days of Saddam Hussein rulership in Iraq, prisons of Mojahedin-e Khalq organization in Iraq were inspected by humanitarian groups and some reports were published on the violation of human rights inside the group. Now, a number of former members of the MKO have published the names of nearly 100 members who were allegedly killed under the torture of MKO, died in suspicious cases, or were forced to commit suicide. Karim Haghi, former member of MKO, talked to Radio Farda and gave explanation about the publication of the victims’ names:

Karim Haghi: several years ago, we started efforts to gather the names and details of those members who were killed or executed (or died in suspicious cases) inside the MKO due to their opposition and protest to the policies of the group. We could collect the names of nearly 100 members. The pamphlet containing these names was published in Farsi and French last week by Iran-Peyvand Association. The pamphlet presents the names, some with photos, of the victims and how they were killed. Of course, the list is not complete and reflects only a small part of those who were killed due to MKO’s internal suppression. These people were killed in different ways. Some of our friends died under the torture of Mojahedin in Iraq. Some of them were delivered to Iraqis and were executed by Baathists. Some were killed in suspicious cases; the MKO claims they committed suicide or due to friendly fire. Others include those who could escape the hell of Rajavi in Iraq and get to Europe but committed suicide because of psychological pressure and pain of MKO’s tortures. Former members and families of MKO commemorated the victims of internal suppression in MKO on 8th of April. We have decided to hold the ceremonies annually and commemorate those who were killed innocently and in loneliness. We want to keep their memory alive and try to pursue their cases through humanitarian communities. This issue is humanitarian rather than political.

Mujahedin Khalq 's Terrorism

MKO and Massacre of Kurd and Turkmen Iraqis

In our region, most of those who celebrated the liberation of Kefri city (from Baathists’ occupation) on March 11, 1991, were our Turkmen neighbors. I can remember well that Peshmerg forces were welcomed by the citizens and everyone was happy. People shouted "down with dictatorship" and didn’t know how to express their happiness. Unfortunately, this happiness didn’t last long in Kefri because the mercenaries of the MKO, backed by the bombardment by Baathists, entered the city and suppressed the happiness of people.

The city resisted against the MKO mercenaries for a long time and many achieved martyrdom but finally these mercenaries and the forces of Saddam occupied the city and Kurd and Turkmen citizens started moving toward the borders of Iran; the army of Saddam started plundering the properties of people and set fire on the library…

Germany Cracks On MKO

German deputy minister ,Hanning , in a meeting with Iranian interior minister Pourmohammadi said that Germany will use the most modern technology to maintain security during the World Cup football matches.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Hanning expressed regret over the illegal activities of some extremist groups and terrorism in the Middle East and Europe, saying that through cooperation and peaceful coexistence these activities can be prevented.

On the possibility of protests in Germany during the World Cup by some groups including the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), Hanning said that these groups carry out violent acts in the country and noted that intelligence cooperation between Iran and Germany is necessary in order to effectively control these groups.
