Iranian FM decries France green light to MKO activities

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has expressed regret that the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has been given permission to carry out its activities in France.

The presence and activities of the MKO in France are regarded as “a moot point” in relations between Tehran and Paris, Zarif told IRIB in an interview published on Saturday, a day after he wrapped up his two-day visit to the French capital.

“During our talks with the French officials, we raised this issue as a moot point in our relations and they also emphasized that they have no connection with this group (MKO),” he said.

He added that the MKO’s terrorist nature is not hidden to anybody, saying all regional and European countries are aware of the group’s acts of terror.

The Iranian foreign minister expressed regret that some “reactionary regimes in the region are once again capitalizing on this group as they did so in the past.”

Zarif added that the Islamic Republic is aware that Saudi Arabia has been colluding with the MKO and providing it with financial support since the Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.

The Al Saud regime has decided to publicize its cooperation with the terrorist group since last year by attending its meetings, he said.

On Saturday, the MKO terror group held a meeting in Paris, which was attended by some of the former US, European and Saudi officials, including former Saudi spy chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal, who also delivered a speech.

On July 9, 2016, Paris hosted another annual meeting organized by the MKO terrorist group, which was also attended by Faisal.

Zarif emphasized that all such moves show the desperation of the Islamic Republic’s opponents who had no option but to resort to groups with no place among the Iranian nation in order to achieve their own “ominous objectives.”

The MKO is the most hated terrorist group among the Iranians because of its dark history of assassinations and bombings and for siding with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in his eight-year war against Iran in the 1980s.

Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist assaults since the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, about 12,000 have fallen victim to MKO’s acts of terror.

The terrorist group also helped Saddam in his brutal crackdown on his opponents.

The West must realize that the MKO is not popular

As the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/the cult of Rajavi) is holding its so-called annual grand gathering in Paris, its supporters try to be grateful for their luxurious trip to Paris donated to them by the group.

Former Secretary of Homeland Security Department of the United States, Tom Ridge is a well-paid advocate of the MKO. Together with a number of his colleagues, Ridge has been paid thousands of dollars for his speeches in support of the group as well as his first class flights to France and his luxurious hotel rooms in Paris every year.

Therefore, the hefty payments have convinced him to forge the truth. In his recent article, published by Arabnews, just two days before the grand gathering he claims that “many Iranians have boycotted the presidential election” in Iran! He claims that the large voter turnout is the “regime propaganda” while the entire world-wide media have admitted that the Iranians’ participation in the recent presidential elections was great. Aljazeera, for instance described the election as “a massive voter turnout”. “Long queues were seen outside polling stations across the country, and voting time was extended by five hours”, according to BBC.

However, Mr. Ridge prefers to neglect the truth and instead call for support for the MKO declaring his plan to attend the group’s rally in Paris, ”which is expected to draw upward of 1000,000 Iranian expatriates from around the world, and will be broadcast live to millions of Iranians.”

He seems to be so naïve that he cannot recognize the huge number of non-Iranians who are bused to the so-called grand gathering from around Europe including college students, African and middle eastern refugees and a lot more irrelevant people who have been promised a free trip to the lovely memorable French capital, Paris.

He claims that millions of Iranians watch the MKO’s masquerade show live while the 80-milllion Iranian population who almost all have access to the Internet and satellite TV channels, hardly ever know the MKO or even if they know the group they do not sound eager to know about it or to follow its news.

Mr. Ridge’s is made forget the violent background of the MKO. Ironically, he advises the international community to “encourage the democratic transformation of Iran by supporting democratic alternatives to the current regime”. This is an alarming sign of his poor judgment about the MKO and its situation among the Iranian public opinion.

Indeed, various sources emphasize that the MKO enjoys very little support in Iranian public because of its cooperation with Saddam Hussein during the eight years of Iran-Iraq war and moreover due to its violent bloody struggle against the government that took the lives of thousands of Iranian civilians.

“The group is wildly hated inside Iran and has almost no support in the Iranian diaspora”, writes Daniel Larison of the American conservative. “It is widely unrepresentative to what most Iranians in Iran and elsewhere want for their country.”

MKO Making False Claims against Tehran at Behest of Washington, Tel Aviv: US Scholar

An American political commentator in Madison said the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as MEK) is making baseless allegations against Tehran’s nuclear program at the request of its “paymasters” in Washington and Tel Aviv.

“…when the MKO makes allegations against Iran’s nuclear program, it is undoubtedly doing so at the behest of its paymasters in Washington, DC and Tel Aviv, who want to put their false charges against Iran into the mouth of a supposedly ‘Iranian’ source,” Kevin Barret told the Tasnim news agency.

Dr. Kevin Barrett, a Ph.D. Arabist-Islamologist, is one of America’s best-known critics of the War on Terror. Dr. Barrett has appeared many times on Fox, CNN, PBS and other broadcast outlets, and has inspired feature stories and op-eds in the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, the Chicago Tribune, and other leading publications. Dr. Barrett has taught at colleges and universities in San Francisco, Paris, and Wisconsin, where he ran for Congress in 2008. Tasnim: The terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) recently claimed that the Islamic Republic is violating the 2015 nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers by secretly conducting research on nuclear weapons components at the Parchin military site in Iran. The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) strongly dismissed the allegations by the terrorist group against Tehran’s nuclear program, saying the claims are of no value for the Islamic Republic. What is your take on this? What is behind such allegations?

Basirat: The MKO is one of the world’s craziest terrorist groups. Its combination of fanatical leftist extremism and irrational strategy and tactics is reminiscent of groups like the Red Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof gang, which we now know were run by the Pentagon’s Operation Gladio during the Cold War.

Like the Red Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof gang, the MKO has no popular support whatsoever. Iranians of all political stripes hate them, largely because MKO operators have murdered thousands of Iranians in terror attacks dating back to the 1980s, when the MKO was an ally of Saddam Hussein in the Imposed War against the Islamic Republic.

How can a group with no popular support continue to operate and garner attention? By serving as a front for Iran’s external enemies, led by the US and Israel. So when the MKO makes allegations against Iran’s nuclear program, it is undoubtedly doing so at the behest of its paymasters in Washington, DC and Tel Aviv, who want to put their false charges against Iran into the mouth of a supposedly “Iranian” source.

Tasnim: It seems that the new US administration has breathed new life into the terrorist group. Republican US Senator John McCain praised the head of the MKO, in a recent meeting in the Albanian capital, Tirana. What do you think? What is terror group looking for under Trump?

Barret: The mercenaries who run MKO undoubtedly want to extract as much money from the US government as they possibly can. And Trump and McCain, despite their personal differences, both take a very hostile anti-Iran line. So this is a marriage made in hell between the terrorist mercenaries and the anti-Iran extremists in the US. The Trump Administration, dominated as it is by Jared Kushner and other followers of Netanyahu, will probably waste more money on the MKO than the Obama Administration did. Strategically, this is a stupid move, because it will harden the resolve of the Iranian people. But Trump’s and Bibi’s people are not very intelligent strategists. They probably imagine they can destabilize Iran using the MKO in the same way the US and its regional “allies” destabilized Libya and Syria using proxies from those countries. What they seemingly don’t realize is that the forces of destabilization did have some support within Libya and Syria, but the MKO has zero support inside Iran. So the only accomplishment of this anti-Iran campaign will be to unite Iranians against the MKO and its backers.

Tasnim: As you know, more than 17,000 Iranians, many of them civilians, have been killed at the hands of the MKO in different acts of terrorism including bombings in public places, and targeted killings. Why do Saudi Arabia, US, and certain European countries continue to support the anti-Iran terror group despite its heinous crimes?

Barret: That is a good question. Why do these backers continue to prop up a failed, fanatical communist terrorist group that all Iranians hate? As I said, the MKO is a strategically counterproductive tool in the hands of Washington and Tel Aviv. Why would Iran’s enemies keep shooting themselves in the foot? I suppose the answer is that the MKO’s backers are deceiving themselves. They get their information about Iran mainly from Iranian exiles in Los Angeles, especially the wealthy, well-connected ones who were often close to the Shah’s ruling circles. Some of these wealthy exiles harbor fanatical hatred for the Islamic Republic. They want to hurt it. And their instinctive hatred leads them to think and act irrationally and to give bad advice to their American and Zionist masters.

The MKO‘s Propaganda against Iranian Elections on the ground of Fiction

Only, a few weeks left to the presidential elections in Iran, the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/MEK/the Cult of Rajavi) has launched its predictable propaganda campaign against the Islamic Republic. As usual, the group labels the Iranian elections as “sham”.

Reviewing the substance of elections in governing systems around the world it is worth to compare them with elections held in both ruling systems of the Islamic Republic and the Cult of Rajavi.

Elections are the central institution of democratic systems. The principal mechanism for linking public opinion into the system’s authority is the holding of elections.

All modern democracies hold elections, but not all elections are democratic. Right-wing dictatorships, Marxist regimes, and single-party governments also stage elections to give their rule the impression of legitimacy. In such elections, there may be only one candidate or a list of candidates, with no alternative choices. These are not democratic elections.

In contrast, democratic elections are not merely symbolic but they are competitive, periodic, inclusive, definitive elections in which the main decision-makers in a government are selected by citizens.

A look at the history of the MKO and the Iranian government demonstrates the dimensions of democracy that are observed in each establishment. While the MKO cult leaders accuse the Iranian authorities of being fundamentalist, dictator and undemocratic there have never recorded a fair election in the whole history of the group. The above-mentioned type of undemocratic elections are exactly the only ones that were held in the MKO. No matter the person is supposed to be selected for what rank, there is always one candidate and members are supposed to vote for this only one without any opposition. In the voting process, there is no polling station, no ballot box. No one’s vote is secret. Members of the Cult of Rajavi have to raise their hands in a public ceremony to indicate their agreement with the selected person. There is no alternative choice and there is no option to dissent the selected person.

Compare this undemocratic system to the one in Iran. Despite all deficiencies, the elections in Iran are competitive, periodic and inclusive in which candidates from the two main political wings including conservatives and reformists take part. They run their presidential campaigns, participate in debates and try to challenge their rivals, much similar to what takes place in famously known democracies in Europe and America.

Leaders of the Cult of Rajavi run their propaganda machine against the Iranian presidential elections as they are backed by certain warmonger figures of the US government who find them as the enemy of their enemy. Saeed Kamali Dehghan of the Guardian finds the exiles such as Reza Pahlavi and the MKO that seek regime change in Iran, as people “who are irrelevant to modern Iran, yet appeal to gullible Americans”.

KamaliDehghan accurately asserts that the MKO and the Monarchists do not represent the aspirations of the Iranian People. “Nevertheless, the Iranian people by and large still believe in gradual change, however slow the pace of reform might be,” he writes. “Huge turnouts for elections represent a rejection of the sort of things that Pahlavi and Rajavi have to offer.”

He confirms that the MKO is never a reliable source for the enemies of the Iranian nation. “In their constant mission to demonise Iran, the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia have heavily relied on groups such as MEK,’’ he suggests. “The fact of the matter is that they remain out of touch with the realities on the ground.”

US Media and Iran’s MEK Terrorists Who Cried Wolf

Right-wing, anti-Iranian figures and media in the United States have begun circulating claims that Iran had violated the JCPOA that resulted from the P5+1 nuclear negotiations, and indeed has a nuclear weapons

program. Various pro-Israeli and anti-Iranian voices in the US echoed this claim. Mark Toner was even asked about the allegations during a press briefing in April.

The source for this allegation was the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a front group for the Mujahadeen E-Khalq (People’s Holy Warriors). Putting aside the group’s shady history, terrorism, and bizarre cultish practices, the claims should have immediately been discredited. Why? These exact same forces were caught lying back in 2015, with similar claims.

In 2015, as the nuclear negotiations were nearing their completion, the NCIR published photos of a safe, claiming it was in Iran and contained materials related to a secret nuclear weapons program. The photo the NCIR released was proven to have been taken from a French website selling safes. The group was caught in an obvious lie.

Iran’s nuclear energy program has never been proven to have any military uses. The International Atomic Energy Agency has watched over all of Iran’s nuclear activities, and following the negotiations in 2015, almost all of the peaceful nuclear energy program has been shut down.

A Bizarre “Islamo-Marxist” Terrorist Cult

The 2015 photo flub was not the first time the MEK has been caught lying about Iran. Over the last ten years they have continued to make claims that they have proof of an Iranian nuclear weapons program. None of their claims have ever been verified. MEK did, however, cooperate with Israel’s Mossad to assassinate peaceful nuclear scientists teaching at Iranian Universities. Who is the source of all these fraudulent claims that continue to be treated with credibility in the US media? So, who is the MEK?The Mujahadeen E-Khalq is a religious/political cult formed in Iran during the 1970s. At the time Iran was led by a US backed dictator, the Shah. While various groups organized resistance to the Shah in the form of guerrilla warfare, strikes, and protests, the MEK conducted adventurist acts of violence and terrorism. In addition to Iranians, Americans were also victims of MEK’s terrorism prior to the Iranian revolution of 1979.

The Mujahadeen E-Khalq calls its belief system “Islamo-Marxism.” The founder, Masoud Rajavi, claims to be a prophet brought to earth by God in order to usher in some kind of Islamic Communist revolution. MEK’s beliefs could almost be described as an Islamic version of Reverend Jim Jones “People’s Temple,” which reached its peak during the same time period. Like Rajavi, Jones also claimed to be some kind of prophet who could spiritually combine the world’s religions with soviet-style Marxism in order to foment global revolution. Also like the People’s Temple, many people have died as a result of Rajavi’s fanatical and violent organization.

A History of Terrorism & War Crimes

After Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, the MEK briefly aligned with [Ayatollah] Khomeini, hoping they could influence the Iranian revolution from within. After one of their allied clerics was deposed, the MEK launched a bombing campaign against the Islamic Republic. In 1981, the MEK bombed a meeting of Iran’s Islamic Republican Party, killing 72 people.

During the Iraq-Iran war, Saddam Hussein began funding and arming the MEK. The MEK formed an armed body called the Iranian National Liberation Army. In 1988, MEK fighters were airdropped into Iran by Iraqi aircraft. Its members proceeded to raze villages, slaughtering, men, women, and children, before ultimately being defeated by the Iranian military. It is estimated that tens of thousands of civilians were killed by MEK fighters during the Iraq-Iran war.

After the war, MEK set-up shop in Iraq, being coddled by Saddam Hussein’s government. Hussein used the MEK as shock troops to suppress the Kurds and other uprisings against him during the 1990s.

MEK is now headquartered in France, with Massoud Rajavi, the wife of the cult’s founder, claiming to be Iran’s President in exile. During the 1990s, the cult ordered all members to divorce their spouses, as marriage was considered a distraction from achieving the cult’s goal of toppling the Iranian government. MEK’s base of operation, Camp Ashraf in Iraq, has been operated as a kind of mini-police state. According to Human Rights Watch, within Camp Ashraf, the death penalty and torture is frequently used against residents. Reports described individuals being dragged by ropes around their necks, among other routine atrocities.

The Spirit of the Agreement

Throughout his presidency, the Tea Party and Republicans frequently accused Barack Obama of being a “Muslim” and a “Communist.” Ironically, however, the Mujahadeen E-Khalq is a favored group of the Republican Party, despite being self-described as “Islamo-Marxists.”

With the support of Hillary Clinton, the MEK was removed from the list of designated foreign terrorist organizations in 2012 by the US State Department. The decision was based on claims that MEK had “renounced violence.” However, at the very time the process of delisting was in the works, MEK assassinated Iranian Nuclear Scientists.

The fact that the group was caught intentionally using a fake photograph against Iran in 2015, in addition to all of its terrorism and war crimes, should discredit its recent statements about Iran in the US media. However, despite their previous lies and horrendous record, certain US media outfits remain so biased and hostile to Iran, that they still repeat their claims.

While no evidence exists that Iran has violated the JCPOA, Donald Trump recently stated to the press that Iran had violated “the spirit of the agreement.” How does one define “the spirit?” Will Iran be punished for such a subjective crime, despite fulfilling all of its written obligations?

Only time will tell.

Your Excellency, Archbishop of Tirana-Durrës, George Anthony Frendo,

I, Edward Termado, am an Iranian and Armenian Christian, who now lives with his family in Germany. In 1980, when the Iran-Iraq War began, I was a soldier in the Iranian army in the fight in Iraq where I was wounded and captured by the Iraqi troops. Until the end of the war I was in captivity in Iraq.

After the armistice between Iran and Iraq, I unfortunately decided not to return to my country, because I thought I could use other means for the freedom of the people and democracy, and I joined the PMOI (Peoples Mojahedin of Iran) . For 12 years, I was in the grip of this sectarian organization, but fifteen years ago I managed to escape the pressure of this organization and live in the free world again today.

In its propaganda, the PMOI had always expressed its opinion on freedom and democracy for the Iranian people, calling on equal rights for women all over the world. The call for freedom, equality and religious freedom was very loud in their propaganda. With their slogans, the PMOI has deceived many Iranian war prisoners in Iraq and lured them into their catches. They also deceived me.

But when I was a member of the PMOI for a while, Massoud Rajavi, the leader of the Mujahideen, who lives in a hiding-place since the fall of the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, has given the unbelievable order to compel all marriages with the Mujahideen. All the families who have lived in Camp Ahsraf under many restrictions have been torn apart and the children have been torn from their parents on the pretext that the situation in Iraq is too dangerous for them.

These approximately 800 children were sent to Europe and America by the PMOI. At first sight this seemed to be a humanitarian act, but when the children grew older after a few years, and were engaged in schooling, education or studying, they returned to Camp Ashraf, on the pretext of meeting their parents again In Iraq. There they were denied to return to Europe or the USA. Some were subjected to brainwashing and later sent to military operations in Iran, where they were killed.

Your Excellency:

Last week I learned, that in March 2017 you participated in the Organizations Nowruz Festival in Albania. So I have the concern that you too can be blinded by the propaganda allies of the PMOI and I would like to warn you not to get pressed into service by the Mojaheddin without knowing their true face.

The MKO presents itself as “the Iranian resistance” or the “opposition in exile”, but it is pursuing its own objectives independently of all opposition movements in Iran itself. They suggest to advocate democracy, equality of the sexes and separation of church and state. However, they use other institutions to spread their propaganda. But as a former MKO-member, I know better:

As early as August 2009, the TAZ reported that the MKO had tried, under the pretext of engaging in persecuted Christians, to harness the church for its propaganda. In the Heilig-Kreuz church in Berlin, the MKO activists had to leave the church after a short while, after they had abused the church asylum for a hunger strike for Camp Ahsraf. Pastor Dagmar Apel decided: “… we cannot support this radical means of protest in which people endanger their health.”

Behind the wall, the MKO is a cultish organization with no support among the most Iranians (exiles as well as those living in Iran). The majority of the Iranians despise the MKO for their alliance with Saddam Hussein in the 80s and for their position against the nuclear program (by most of the Iranian population the program is seen as a legitimate right).

At least there is the occult and even messianic image, which has been arranged to Maryam Rajavi “President-elect” and “Sun of the Revolution” and the cultish structure of the organization, which raises questions of democracy within the organization itself because Maryam Rajavi remainedthe President of the organization since her “election” in 1993 without any sign of political pluralism.

Several officials, who had to deal more closely with the MKO, have also recognized this:

The former chairman of the Working Group on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the CDU / CSU Bundestag Fraction, Erika Steinbach, has described MKO as follows: “The organization (MEK / MKO / PMOI) is not trustworthy against the background of its history and its actions against dropouts and critics. The MEK is a sect-like, repressive movement with a distinct person cult around the leaders, without great credibility in the Iranian population. “

A speaker of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs told in June 27th 2014: “France has no contact with the “People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran” which is known for its use of violence. It has no legal existence in France as an organization. Its violent and undemocratic Ideology has been exposed by several human rights organizations, such as Amnesty International who have reported on the organization’s cultic practices and its refusal to formally renounce violence. We also warn about the intense campaign of disinformation and influence it leads”.

Daniel Benjamin, the former U.S. State Department’s counterterror coordinator,,told the FP-Website 2015: “Being delisted as a Foreign Terrorist Organization — a decision I took part in — doesn’t mean that this group … has suddenly … become trustworthy or worthy of engagement.”

It was not until December 2016 that CIA Director John Brennan warned Tirana of the potentially great danger that the terrorist group Mojahedin Khalq (MEK) represents for Albania by their presence in the capital.

As an Armenian Christian, who lost 12 years of his life through the false slogans of the Mujahideen, I would like to describe to you in a short meeting, which I have seen and experienced during the period of the organization of the People’s Mojahedin.

The topic of this interview was the resistance voice which its leader is a woman and this interview was about the veil and the women freedom in Iran. You as a media ,how did you carry out such an interview with this cult without having enough knowlege of their terrorist essence ?

I ,Zahra MOEINI , am an Iranian – German who lives in Germany . I joined them for freedom and better future for my own people but i found out that i wasted my life in there, even i lost my health . I am a witness of this notorious cult and i am ready to share my experiences with you whenever and wherever you want. The pmoi leaders with lie and deception took me and my husband to Iraq and we became stuck like a captive in there. We lost all communications with outside world while we were in Ashraf . We tried our best to convince them that we do not want to stay in Iraq and we asked them to send us out of Iraq , but the operatives of this cult told us that you have entered to Iraq without passport and Iraq is a country which is fighting with Iran and if someone wants to separate from us , we have to hand them over to Iraqi intelligence agents and anything happens to them is their fault !!!

All the people who were brought to Iraq by lie and deception , had to work for this cult forcibly , i would better say that we were living in forced labor camp, Ashraf camp . We could not comment on anything in there and we had to do whatever they asked us to do, for instance the forced divorce , separation of children from their parents and sending them out of Iraq to unknown future . Those kids were between 6 months of age to 11 years old and there was around 900 of them . Some of them were sent to Europe and USA and a number of them were sent to Iran . Some of those kids were sexually abused and a number of them were abandoned in subways and metro,s .

I would like to ask you , as a free media , this question that , why did not you ask Mrs. Maryam Rajavi that in Iran where the women and men ‘s rights are supressed , but why in pmoi or Rajavi cult which shows itself as the only alternative for Iran , the women and men’s rights have been supressed? , the men and women who lived in this cult in a dream of freedom and better life for Iranian people, but their fundamental rights have been supressed . Why all those men and women who spent years and decades in that cult can not get in touch with their loved ones? why in this notorious cult , those men and women can not have access to internet and cell phone? In Iran under the clergymen rules , people are deprived of freedom, and there is no doubt about that , but women in Iran in comparison with the women in Mojahedin have more freedom in their veil , in Mojahedin can women have freedom in their veil like women in Iran? in Mojahedin the veil is compulsory and the rules are tougher . In Mojahedin the members can not get married and they are deprived of getting married and have children for decades . Le sujet de cette interview était la voix de la résistance dont le leader est une femme et cette interview portait sur le voile et la liberté des femmes en Iran. Vous en tant que média, comment avez-vous effectué une telle entrevue avec ce culte sans avoir suffisamment de connaissance de leur essence terroriste? Moi, Zahra MOEINI, je suis un Iranien-Allemand qui habite en Allemagne. Je les ai rejoints pour la liberté et un meilleur avenir pour mon propre peuple, mais j’ai découvert que j’avais perdu ma vie là-bas, même si je perdais ma santé. Je suis témoin de ce culte notoire et je suis prêt à partager mes expériences avec vous. Les leaders pmoi avec le mensonge et la déception m’ont emmené et mon mari en Irak et nous nous sommes retrouvés comme un captif là-bas. Nous avons essayé de notre mieux pour les convaincre que nous ne voulons pas rester en Irak et nous leur avons demandé de nous envoyer en Irak, mais les agents de ce culte nous ont dit que vous êtes entré en Irak sans passeport et que l’Irak est un pays qui est En combattant avec l’Iran et si quelqu’un veut se séparer de nous, nous devons les remettre aux agents de renseignement irakiens et tout ce qui leur arrive est leur faute! Toutes les personnes qui ont été amenées en Irak par le mensonge et la déception ont dû travailler pour ce culte avec force, je ferais mieux de dire que nous vivions dans un camp de travaux forcés. Nous ne pouvions pas commenter quoi que ce soit là-bas et nous devions faire tout ce qu’ils nous ont demandé de faire, par exemple le divorce forcé, la séparation des enfants de leurs parents et l’envoi de l’Irak à un avenir inconnu. Ces enfants avaient entre 6 mois et 11 ans et environ 900 d’entre eux. Certaines d’entre elles ont été envoyées en Europe et aux États-Unis et plusieurs d’entre elles ont été envoyées en Iran. Certains de ces enfants ont été victimes de violence sexuelle et un certain nombre d’entre eux ont été abondonnés dans les métros et les métros. International Workers’ Day and MeK’s propaganda efforts

In the first place, I have to mention that there is a principle dominating the MeK that none of the members must never be seen idle and they have to work from dawn to dusk. The principle is being applied the MeK from top to bottom. Of course the principle becomes more and more severe in the rank and files. Maryam Rajavi used to say that the members should be engaged either in the war or training. Thus when there is no war and the trainings become repetitive, they will be engaged in forced labor. Rajavi held the belief that the members should be forced to work overtime so that they become so tired that they fall asleep as soon as their heads touch their pillows.

The purpose was to keep them working, no matter what kind of job they were doing or in which part of the organization they were involved. It had two advantages at the time: 1. The members do not notice the passage of time. 2. They will not be distracted by other issues, particularly sexual feelings, which was regarded as a “red line” in the organization.

So all the occasions, either the self-described events such as the June 20th and historic flight or the national and international ones such as International Women’s Day or May Day holds a special place in the MeK and plays the best role in solving organizational problems and entertaining the members.

I’ve wrote all these to show the importance of the MeK’s propaganda efforts in each and every events.

Now the MeK has May Day 2016 ahead to entertain its political and organizational members until the next event.

The MeK released its first statement on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day on April 7, 2016. Referring to the “heavy burden of economic recession and crises” in Iran and a bunch of workers’ economic problems, the statement call on the Iranian workers to “rise up to support this great right of people with 1000 Ashraf and Liberation Army.”http://wwwbahayazadi.blogspot.com/2016/04/blog-post_79.html

Given the many years of experience and a good understanding of the MeK, I should say that their propaganda is merely an internal matter and has no effect on the Iranian people. In other words, the propaganda starts and ends with the MeK. This is the MeK’s strategy, sending out statements, telling lies about widespread protests of the workers and their support for the MeK’s statements. The next step is showing the supports on their outlets and their coverage should be as big as the statement lest the MeK’s reputation is further smeared.

However, there has always been a great contradiction in the MeK’s propaganda in these events. The final product is never in accordance with what the MeK blows in its own horn.

Even if we assume the most optimistic scenario according to the MeK’s official website (below) that protests have erupted in Iran by workers under the influence of MeK’s propaganda in less than 6 days, then we should expect hundreds of Iranian workers protesting across the Iranian streets in support of the MeK.

Iran’s people care about elections. The so-called democratic fringe doesn’t

Trump’s hard talk has buoyed Iran’s exiled opposition, like the son of the late Shah and the shadowy MEK. But these intemperate voices are not to be trusted

In Donald Trump, opponents of the Iranian establishment bent on regime change have identified a new hope. The US administration, which often talks tough on Iran, has rejuvenated fringe exiled Iranian opposition groups who are irrelevant to modern Iran, yet appeal to gullible Americans.

One such group is led by Reza Pahlavi, who gets attention mainly because he is the son of the late Shah, who was exiled during the revolution in 1979. An “advocate of secularism, human rights, and parliamentary democracy in Iran” as he puts it on his Twitter profile, he reached out to Trump to congratulate him when he won the election, asking him to to engage “with the ‎secular and democratic forces” to defeat “political Islam”.

In his letter, he wrote that the Islamic Republic was promoting a “regressive ideology [that] has spread like a ‎cancer across the globe: from the Middle East to Asia and Africa, and even to Europe and the ‎Americas”. With such overblown rhetoric, Pahlavi sounds like war-mongering Republicans and Israeli hardliners who seek to portray Iran as a bigger threat than Isis.

“Iran’s exiled crown prince wants a revolution,” is how AP began its interview with Pahlavi in April, in which he says “this regime is simply irreformable because the nature of it, its DNA, is such that it cannot”.

“My focus right now is on liberating Iran, and I will find any means that I can, without compromising the national interests and independence, with anyone who is willing to give us a hand, whether it is the US or the Saudis or the Israelis or whomever it is,” he told AP.

In February, Pahlavi told Deutsche Welle that “the Iranian regime from the very beginning has been the root cause of practically every problem we see emanating from that region … The majority of the Iranian people, I would say easily 90% of Iran’s society, is against this regime and wants this regime to go.”

The other group calling for a revolution is the MEK (the People’s Mujahedin of Iran), a shadowy group characterised by many observers – including former members – as cult-like. Earlier this month, Senator John McCain travelled to a conference in Albania to meet with the group’s leader, Maryam Rajavi. Speaking in a packed room of MEK supporters, many wearing identical clothes, McCain praised the group and said: “This is an example of the support you are able to get in the United States of America, in the world, to get you to get to freedom.”

Rajavi, who has led the group for almost as long as Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been the supreme leader of Iran, said during the conference that “experience has shown that this regime is incapable of changing its behaviour. Thus, regime change in Iran is necessary for peace and stability in the region and for global peace and security.”

Contrary to what you might expect, these two opposition forces do not get along. “It’s pretty much a cult-type structure,” Pahlavi said of MEK in his AP interview. He’s absolutely right.

It’s not long ago that the MEK, described by US thinktank Rand as a “skilled manipulators of public opinion”, was listed by the US and the EU as a terrorist organisation. (When it was delisted by the US in 2012, the US government acknowledged that the organisation had renounced violence and had committed no terrorist acts for more than a decade. It was also delisted by the EU in 2009). The group fought alongside Saddam Hussein against Iran in the eight-year war in the 1980s. That itself should explain its immense unpopularity inside Iran. According to state department and FBI assessments, the MEK was behind the killing of Americans in Iran in the 1970s, though the current MEK leadership disavows those killings. Rajavi has also been barred from entering the UK.

In recent years, the MEK has paid many senior American officials to speak at their events, including former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Elaine Chao, Trump’s secretary of transportation, who received a $50,000 honorarium to speak at an MEK event.

A strong supporter of the MEK is Saudi Arabia. In July 2016, Prince Turki al-Faisal, the former Saudi intelligence chief, spoke at MEK’s rally in Paris.

In a not-so-subtle reference to Saudi Arabia, the Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad-Javad Zarif, said: “In most countries in our region election is a dream … You are talking about a region where people don’t have a constitution for God’s sake.”

Zarif has a point. In a few week’s time, Iranians yet again go to the polls to choose their next government. Groups such as MEK have portrayed Iranian elections as futile. In reality, elections do matter in Iran. While they are far from being fair, given the extent of the vetting of candidates, they are still competitive and are taken seriously by the electorate.

There’s a constant battle in Iran between the elected faction of the establishment, and the unelected faction. In 2013, Iran’s majority pro-reform population threw its weight behind Hassan Rouhani. Iran has indeed drastically changed under the moderate cleric.

Nevertheless, the Iranian people by and large still believe in gradual change, however slow the pace of reform might be. Huge turnouts for elections represent a rejection of the sort of things that Pahlavi and Rajavi have to offer.

In their constant mission to demonise Iran, the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia have heavily relied on groups such as MEK. The fact of the matter is that they remain out of touch with the realities on the ground. Both groups have used human rights as a casus belli, and have simplified the complexities of politics on the ground to suit the foreign audience. So long as reform-minded Iranians are working hard to generate change from within, the intemperate voices of Pahlavi and Rajavi, and their attempts to build political capital in the west, should be dismissed.

Open letter of Mrs. Zahra MOEINI to the Top Channel Media in Tirana, ALBANIA

Greetings I , Zahra MOEINI , am an Iranian-German who worked with Rajavi Cult in Iraq for many years or i would better say that i was a captive in that cult because i did not have any freedom whatsoever to communicate with the free world and my family . In that cult all the married couples were forced to get divorced by the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. This forced separations was not just for married couples , the single ones also had to get divorced from their imaginary spouse in their minds . After those separations and forced divorces , all those married couples who had kids in that cult , were ordered by the leadership of this notorious cult to send their kids either to Iran or to foreign countries such as Europe and United States . Those miserable kids were sent to the fake associations of this cult in other countries and those associations gathered money from foreign people in the pretext of accomodating and feeding those kids , but in reality all those money which were gathered were sent to Iraq to buy bullets , arms , and ammunition for that cult . In 1992 , i got out of Iraq with Maryam Rajavi as her bodyguard and a member of her security team with almost 450 members of that cult and we entered France . After a while , i was sent to Germany and despite of my injury in Iraq , i was asked to go on streets to gather money from the foreign people for the cult purposes . For collecting money , we were told by the cult operatives that the European people are very naive and they believe whatever we say ,easily. We were told that we should not talk about our work with others outside of the cult and that was a red line for each of us, but after a while i found out that some of those miserable kids who were separated forcibly from their parents in Iraq were left alone in metro without any support and some of them were sexually abused by some of the cult supporters in California , USA. Those guys got caught by justice but when they came out of prison with the cooperation and coordination of the cult they could escaped from California and from Mexican Bay they could go out of USA. When i was in Germany i found out alot about their lies hypocracy and fraud and also i found out that this brutal and notorious cult does not care about the life and death of those stranded members in Iraq . This brutal cult does not care about the families of those stuck and stranded members and see them as enemy , so as i mentioned above , after finding out of all those atrocities and brutalities , i decided to escape from this notorious cult and i informed the German government about this cult. I would like to ask you a question as an independant and free media , do you know any organization or person or a political party who claims that he is pro democracy and freedom but he threatens his opponents and the critics to death ??yes this brutal cult threatened me to death just because i revealed some facts about them . Did you know that in this cult if someone wants to have a free life , he or she will be punished and the leaders of this cult force them to stay and work in the cult ? Did you know that in this cult , the leaders all the time brag about freedom and democracy but in reality you can not find any of those and instead you will be confronted with the worst dictatorship ? Every year the leaders and operatives of this cult spend huge amount of money to gather the retired generals and politicians in France and now they do the same thing in your country with money which has been gained by selling the vital informations of Iranian borders to previous Iraqi government just to pretend that they have lots of international support !!!!!! As you know that Maryam Rajavi and some of her high ranking members and operatives of this cult have traveled to your country and they have stayed there to suppress and brainwash the members . I am ready to share my thoughts and my experiences about this cult with anyone who is interested in knowing them better specially about notorious Ashraf Garrison , whenever and wherever they prefer.
