Confessions of arrested MKO members in recent disturbances

According to Political correspondent of Fars News Agency, after confessing to direct communication with MKO terrorist group, the two arrested members of MKO in recent disturbances in Tehran stated that they had been trained by this terrorist cult for launching terrorist operations and creating unrest and insecurity in Iran after the elections.

One of these MKO elements in detention said during confessions: I was trained in Camp Ashraf which is the MKO headquarters in Iraq for 3 months and learned how to use weapons, burn down buses and attack the military bases.

The other detained member also pointed to his direct communication with MKO base in England and said: Someone named Zohre constantly called me from London and followed up issues such as burning governmental centers and armed struggles and I did what he wanted me to do.

Detained members of MKO terrorist group in recent disturbances expressed a wide range of information that specifies the details behind much recent unrest. More detailed reports in this regard would b publicized in near future.

MKO elements arrested in last night riots

A number of MKO terrorist elements who have been trained in Ashraf camp in Iraq and entered Iran in order to carry out terrorist actions were identified and arrested. According to Fars News Agency correspondent a group of MKO terrorist members were arrested during the last night riots while carrying a considerable amount of fire arms.

These elements were blindly shooting at the street gatherings and security forces in different parts of the capital.

Based on this report, a mother and daughter from the family of an executed MKO member were among the arrested.

The terrorist group carried firearms such as MP5, pistols, grenades and hand made bombs.

MKO footsteps in the recent chaos

Recent information obtained from Paris, London and the UAE reveal that MKO has come under the full mercenary of CIA by providing mental and human resources as well as intelligence help to America’s Central Intelligence Agency so as to play a major joint role in the production of chaos and insecurity inside Iran.
According to the database of Habilian Association (terror victims’ family) quoting from Nahrainnet, CIA began the formation of especial operations rooms at its offices in Washington and in Los Angeles, California, and outside the United States to deal with the aftermath of the election campaign for the presidency in Iran to develop practical programs to influence the course of elections events and destabilize the Islamic Republic.
In this regard CIA established crisis rooms in its Iran Chambers in the capitals of several countries, including some Persian Gulf countries like the UAE three months ago. A variety of suggestions about Iran’s presidential elections were sent to these rooms which were in charge of the implementation of the choices made by the specialists about how to deal with the elections in Iran.
One task of these rooms was to investigate the guidelines of Mr. Ahmadinejad’s rivals in order to discover the one whose ideas are most close to the U.S. ideas.
These rooms also worked to bring the theories of the overthrow of Iranian President Ahmadinejad to the reality in Iran.
The next stage in this process was to find the best ways of exploiting the results of the elections and to make the public believe that the organized chaos by the external factors was actually ordered by the losers of the elections and that the losers had organized attacking the facilities and security, economic and media centers and the intensification of sit-ins at universities, plazas and squares and mosques.
The slogan of these special operations rooms was "More gasoline on the firewood" and it was agreed between the experts of the American Central Intelligence Agency and elements of the People’s Mujahedeen Organization to create chaos in the streets and mosques and universities and prepare for a velvet revolution by using a specific color and to lay grounds for the collapse of the Islamic Republic or cause its weakness so as to accept the conditions of America and the West.
This procedure was set up the way if Mr. Ahmadinejad wins the elections, his victory would seem abnormal and a huge propaganda and extensive media hue and cry would show an incredible fraud in the election.

MKO agents arrested in Tehran riots

Tehran – Agents of the terrorist group Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) have been found and arrested among the agitators of Tehran streets in the past few days.

Arrested people have confessed that after being trained in Iraq, they have infiltrated into Iran and that they were guided and supported by MKO operation room in Britain.

Iranian television broadcast their confesses and their telephone conversations with a number of leaders of that group in which they ordered them for sabotage like setting fire on buses, gas stations, attacking the Bassiji barracks and demolishing public properties.

The commanding headquarter of the group which supports and finances terrorist actions in Iran and Iraq is located in the outskirt of Paris, France.

The British government removed the group’s name from the terrorist group list last year, so that they could expand their centers to guide operations in the country.

Iran finds US-backed MKO fingermarks in riots

The terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) has reportedly played a major role in intensifying the recent wave of street violence in Iran.

Iranian security officials reported Saturday that they have identified and arrested a large number of MKO members who were involved in recent riots in Iran’s capital.

According to the security officials, the arrested members had confessed that they were extensively trained in Iraq’s camp Ashraf to create post-election mayhem in the country.
They had also revealed that they have been given directions by the MKO command post in Britain.

Street protests broke out after defeated presidential candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi rejected President Ahmadinejad’s decisive win in the June 12 election. His supporters have staged a series of illegal rallies ever since.

Iran’s deputy police commander, on Saturday, warned against the mass gatherings, asserting that those who engage in any such actions would be severely reprimanded.
Earlier on Saturday, MKO leader Maryam Rajavi had supported the recent wave of street violence in Iran during a Saturday address to supporters in Paris.

Rajavi had reportedly described the MKO terrorists as the real winners of the Iranian election.

The Mujahedin Khalq Organization is a Marxist guerilla group, which was founded in the 1960s.In the past two decades, MKO leaders have been resettled in the northern outskirts of Paris.

The terrorists are especially notorious for taking sides with former dictator Saddam Hussein during the war Iraq imposed on Iran (1980-1988).

The group masterminded a slew of terrorist operations in Iran and Iraq — one of which was the 1981 bombing of the offices of the Islamic Republic Party, in which more than 72 Iranian officials were killed.

A 2007 German intelligence report from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has identified the MKO as a "repressive, sect-like and Stalinist authoritarian organization which centers around the personality cult of [MKO leaders] Maryam and Masoud Rajavi".

Anne Singleton, an expert on the MKO and author of ‘Saddam’s Private Army’ explains that the West aims to keep the group afloat in order to use it in efforts to stage a regime change in Iran.

"With a new Administration in the White House a pre-emptive strike on Iran looks unlikely. Instead the MKO’s backers have put together a coalition of small irritant groups, the known minority and separatist groups, along with the MKO. These groups will be garrisoned around the border with Iran and their task is to launch terrorist attacks into Iran over the next few years to keep the fire hot," she explains.

"The role of the MKO is to train and manage these groups using the expertise they acquired from Saddam’s Republican Guard," Singleton added.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report also condemns the MKO for running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations. According to report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

US combat help not needed after June 30

The last US army personnel protecting Rajavi in Camp Ashraf to leave

This pull-out includes the 25 US soldiers based at Camp Ashraf for the protection of Massoud Rajavi. The MKO is staging a carnival-rally in Paris on June 20 as a last ditch attempt to force American support for the cult. It is unlikely that PM al-Maliki will change his position based on such a rally (Iran Interlink).

Iraq PM says government would only request American logistical assistance after US pullout.
BAGHDAD – Iraq will not call on US forces to take part in combat operations after they pull out from urban centres in two weeks, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said in remarks published on Tuesday.

Maliki told French daily Le Monde that his government would only request American logistical assistance, a day after the top US commander in Iraq said the American pullout was on schedule.

“We will not ask them to intervene in combat operations or in operations related to maintaining public order,”the Iraqi premier said.”It is finished.”

Maliki said Baghdad would only call on US forces”for transporting our troops when we need them because we don’t have any planes. That is why we are purchasing helicopters from France and the United States.”

He did not expect”an explosion in violence after June 30,”the date by which US troops must leave Iraq’s cities, towns and villages as part of a landmark security accord between Washington and Baghdad that will see American forces leave Iraq by the end of 2011.

“Regardless, reports from the Americans themselves say our forces are ready to take over,”Maliki added.”There will be no turning back, there is no question of reviewing the agreement on the American withdrawal.”

On Monday, US General Ray Odierno, the top US commander in Iraq, told reporters that the majority of his troops had already left Iraqi cities ahead of the June 30 pullout, and added that the withdrawal was on schedule.

MKO main supporter in Iraq fled the country

According to Habilian Association quoting from Buratha news, Well-informed sources told that Dulaimi had fled to Jordan to settle in another country Adnan al-Dulaimi who is a notorious terrorist and leader of Iraqi Accord Front (leading Sunni fraction in Iraqi parliament), had fled out of Iraq after becoming disappointed in possibility of being ignored from detention after the lifting of his immunity.

Sources close to his daughter Asma al-Dulaimi who is also a member of parliament told her that her father had pulled many strings in order to escape from being imprisoned after his immunity had been lifted; but his struggle were doomed to fail and he was left behind the closed doors, so he decided to run away from Iraq.

Dulaimi was also told by Ayad al-Samaraei, the Iraqi parliament speaker who is also a member of Iraqi Accord Front that he would not impede the application of legal proceedings after the lifting of Dulaimi’s immunity and nobody could support him.

The sources said that Dulaimi had fled to Jordan to settle in another country after two of his children who had been charged with felony and alliance with terrorists, were pushed to prison.
Shiites killings, sectarian displacement and abduction of American journalist Jill Carroll and killing of her translator in addition to attacking the Iraqi security forces are among the many crimes al-Dulaimi is accused of.

Dulaimi is one of the most prominent defenders of the MKO terrorist cult and has defended it several times in his press and media.

In 2007 the People’s Mojahedin Organization arranged a meeting between Adnan al-Dulaimi, and a number of members of the Accord Front with the Israeli officials in Brussels.

Press TV to air documentary on MKO

Press TV is slated to air a documentary about the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) and its ideological changes before the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Failed Tactics focuses on the foundation of MKO, and its political abuse of the first Iranian president Abolhassan Banisadr as well as its terrorist operations inside Iran, the Mersad operation and its removal from the EU blacklist of terror organizations.

The organization’s armed confrontations and its collaboration with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein during the Iraq-Iran war are also among the topics discussed in the documentary.

“The international society’s anti-terrorism claims have become a tool in the hands of certain countries to achieve their goals,” said Press TV production manager Mehdi Homayounfar.

Referring to Iran as the foremost victim of terrorism, Homayounfar added, “it was impossible for the MKO to survive without the financial and moral support of Western countries during all these years.”

Failed Tactics includes interviews with renowned Iranian political figures such as Mohsen Rezaei, Abolhassan Banisadr, Rouhollah Hosseinian, Hossein Shariatmadari, Hadi Shams-Haeri and a number of former high-ranking MKO members.

Produced by Amir Tajik, the documentary has been filmed in Iran, the UK, France and Switzerland. It will be aired on June 21, 2009, the 28th anniversary of MKO’s declaration of armed conflict against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The MKO, which identifies itself as a Marxist-Islamist guerilla army, was founded in Iran in the 1960s, but was exiled some twenty years later for carrying out acts of terrorism in the country.

Iraqi official denies MKO camp under siege

Al-Arabiya Television at 1327 gmt on 9 June reports the following: "The Iranian opposition group, Mojahedin-e Khalq, whose headquarters in Iraq are confined to Camp Ashraf in Diyala Staff Major General Abd-al-Karim Khalaf, chief of operations at the Iraqi Interior Ministry Governorate, has reported that the Iraqi Police’s Rapid Response Forces tightened their embargo on the camp’s occupants and banned the entry of goods and people to it.

The Iraqi Committee for the Defence of Camp Ashraf had issued a statement denouncing the tightening of the noose around the group by the Rapid Response Forces as well as threats to the camp’s occupants of murder and arrest, warning of a possible humanitarian disaster."

Eight minutes later, the channel interviews Staff Major General Abd-al-Karim Khalaf, chief of operations at the Iraqi Interior Ministry, via telephone from Baghdad.

Asked if the government is planning to close down Camp Ashraf, Staff Major General Khalaf says: "As an Interior Ministry, we are responsible for certain matters relating to the camp, such as providing protection for the camp and securing its outer perimeter; guaranteeing the entry of humanitarian goods as stipulated by international agreements – a matter that we handle in transparent fashion; and ensuring that the camp’s residents do not interact with security forces, and all three of these objectives are being met."

He adds: "Some of the security units were replaced – the brothers dispatched by the Interior Ministry left certain positions – and the Interior Ministry is bound by the constitution to provide protection – and is capable of doing so – but its work is hampered by these people [the Mojahedin-e Khalq], who are escalating the situation with certain positions and statements and are providing wrong and highly exaggerated accounts. Interior Ministry personnel have not interacted with them at all, and no siege has been laid around the camp. The camp has certain outlets through which some humanitarian goods and basic necessities are allowed to pass, and they remain operational."

Commenting on the accusations made by the Committee for the Defence of Camp Ashraf, the major general maintains that "there has been no interaction with the camp’s residents, and the protection forces are stationed around the camp’s perimeter, so how can there be a tightening of the noose? How can the noose be tightened when the camp has specific outlets and when more than one party – not just the Interior Ministry – are overseeing the camp? One of these outlets is located near a Multinational Forces position and these forces can see what is happening."

Asked if "you have any political or military orders to close the camp in the near future," Staff Major General Khalaf says: "No, not at all." He reiterates the role of the Interior Ministry in securing the camp and regulating the flow of goods into it.

Jundullah admits MKO connection

The head of the Jundullah gang, Abdulmalik Rigi, has admitted receiving assistance from the terrorist group Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO).

The al-Qaeda-affiliated Jundullah is a sectarian Sunni organization that occasionally launches terrorist attacks against Shias in the southeastern Iranian province of Baluchestan from across the border in Pakistan.

Their latest outrage was a suicide bombing in a Shia mosque in Zahedan, the provincial capital. Last Thursday’s bombing killed 25 worshippers and injured more than a hundred.

There have been persistent intelligence reports of collaborations between the MKO and Jundullah in the past. But, in a significant admission, Rigi told a US-based satellite TV station, monitored by the ISNA news agency on June 2,”They (MKO) have had good intelligence collaborations with us and have provided us with much information about the activities of the Iranian regime.”

Rigi, who was described as a man who”used to fight with the Taliban and is part drug smuggler, part Taliban, part Sunni activist,”by Alexis Debat, a senior fellow on counterterrorism at the Nixon Center and an ABC News consultant who recently met with Pakistani officials and tribal members, told the station,”They (MKO) inform us about the regime’s activities in our areas of operations and let us know of the regime’s forces in these districts and send us most of the intelligence of our interest by email and messages.”

Rigi, who like his fellow al-Qaeda fanatics, has a penchant for videotaped decapitation of hostages, boasted in the interview,”We have treaties of friendship with all groups who act against Iran, and, among these, the MKO can do some things for us and we too can transit their members. But, I guess that they have certain limitations and are in countries where they cannot carry out their intended actions the way they want.”

This was an apparent reference to the presence of MKO co-leader Maryam Rajavi in France, where the group has recently been taken off the terrorist list on the pretext of having forsworn violence.

Rigi’s revelations undermine the MKO’s claimed transformation.

The MKO, which killed thousands of people in their campaign of terrorism in Iran, mainly in the 1980s, later were sheltered and armed by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. They are led by the husband-and-wife team of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. While the whereabouts of Massoud are not clear following the US invasion of Iraq, Maryam is based in France and openly solicits for support and funds from certain European politicians.

The MKO is listed as a terrorist organization by Iran, Iraq, Canada, and the US, but was recently removed from the list in the European Union.
