MKO duplicity in medical care of Ms. Hemmati

Challenge Rajavi and Mojahedin Khalq over duplicity in medical care of members

Last week a video was broadcast by the Mojahedin Khalq on their website showing Marzieh Hemmati. In this video Marzieh is stressing that she has freedom of choice – whilst in her hospital bed fighting a losing battle with death!

Marzieh Hemmati is the last surviving child of the Hemmati family in Iraq. Two other members of this family have been murdered in Iran, and two others have been killed by the Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, NCRI, Rajavi cult) ideological leader in Iraq. Now that Marzieh is fighting death in Camp Ashraf, the Mojahedin Khalq leaders are trying to invent documents in favour of their ideological leader as they see that Marzieh is close to death.

A week before the broadcast of this video in Mojahedin Khalq outlets, Marzieh Hemmati made some contact with her family from Iraq. The contacts revealed that she was in a hospital in Baghdad and would be undergoing major surgery on a tumour in her stomach.

The phone call made by Marzieh Hemmati from one of the best hospitals of Baghdad with the best doctors and facilities (as was claimed over the phone and has been recorded) prompted the family to enquire into the case. How could it be that at exactly the same time that the Mojahedin were claiming that the Iraqi forces were refusing to allow their sick and needy to be transferred to hospital (and they were carrying out demonstrations in western countries on that issue), Marzieh has been admitted to the best hospital in Iraq? Over the phone Marzieh claimed that every possible facility was available to her and she would undergo surgery on November 14, 2010.

As her family, several things came to our minds:
– There is some kind of plot. The Mojahedin Khalq does not usually have humanitarian feelings but they do play with people’s feelings. We should be cautious.

– In the latest contacts a few months before this, Marzieh called all her family members “members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards” [Translator: activation of cult phobias in the MKO is standard when members contact their families]. So what has happened now that she is been asked to call the same people in a friendly way?

– one of the family members who spoke to Marzieh believes that the kind of talking we witnessed was very much as though saying her goodbyes and was the last contact she was making. It seems her sickness is very grave and she may not survive the surgery or may die a short time after the surgery. The MKO may have asked her to call so that after her death the family of Hemmati would at least stay passive or they may even be brought to participate in yet another of the MKO’s disgusting shows that they perform on their satellite TV and websites!

What is being said in this video is a confirmation of what she said over the phone except that in the video it is being said in the cult jargon which the Mojahedin usually use. MKO leader (Massoud Rajavi) as usual is acting too clever for his own good. We, the family, of course have nothing to do with him. But one should not forget that this kind of misuse of the situation of a sick person on her death bed and the propaganda usage of the feelings between family members – it is not going to work any more. Marzieh should of course be free to choose what she wants, but no reactionary force should be free to misuse and play with the feelings of others.

We seriously recommend to the ideological leader (Massoud Rajavi) that before trying to begin any new games, he should have a glance at his past deeds and his messy history. For us the results of this ideological leader and his deeds are crystal clear. It is also clear for us that Marzieh Hemmati is seriously ill and her death is unavoidable now!
The Mojahedin claim that the advanced nature of her illness is as a result of the Iraqi Government placing limits on them. Even if you produce evidence and documents to support this claim, your history shows another story.

The Ideological leader was playing God in the time of the rule of Saddam Hussein. He would do whatever he wanted with his opponents. According to his own admission, the influence they had in Saddam’s regime would shock the Iraqis themselves.

When, in the time of Saddam, they gave the body of Hayedeh Hemmati to her family in Switzerland, the Swiss doctors emphasised that if Hayedeh had been brought for medical help a year sooner, she would have survived. But two months before the death of Hayedeh, in the year 2000, when the Ideological leader (Massoud Rajavi) was certain that she would not survive, he allowed her to be transferred to Switzerland where her family lived.

Hayedeh Hemmati died because the Mojahedin Khalq refused her access to medical help. You deliberately sent Majid Hemmati over a minefield in total darkness so that you would meet your number targets while sitting in Camp Ashraf. And did your organisation meet its target?

Nahid Hemmati (Asefeh) the older sister of Marzieh Hemmati: Mrs. Rajavi! Can you remember in the year 2000 when I wrote to you personally and said that the doctors are stressing that after the death of Hayedeh, her sister Marzieh should undergo medical checks, especially on her lungs? Didn’t I attach the medical report to you through Mahvash Sepehri (one of Rajavi’s lieutenants)? And can you remember that no-one, including yourself, ever answered my requests?

In 2003, I came to Paris. You, as usual, made some silly gestures as you do, and then Mahvash Sepehri told me: “you’d better go to Iraq if you want to bring Marzieh here”! And she was suggesting this at a time when the leaders of your disgusting organisation one after another were running away from Iraq!

Mrs. Rajavi! Your organisation has put the video of my sister on your sites. I have tried hard to make some contact with you and ask simple questions about my sister’s illness. But, as usual, you have refused to give any answer. You have not even accepted to listen to my questions. You hung up the phone on me.

You are pretending that you are doing these in a legal framework but it is now about two decades that the name of the Hemmati family has been misused by you. This is certainly something that can be followed legally and we see no other choice except doing so.

Families of Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, NCRI, Rajavi cult) members trapped inside the camp by cult leaders have spent ten months trying to get access to their relatives. Through loud speakers they have appealed to the camp leaders and sent messages of hope and love for their relatives.

In response, the MEK have used sophisticated US made parasite equipment to deflect the messages and create an impossible atmosphere for anyone outside the camp. We do not know how we can inform you about the contents of this letter, as there is no means to Iraq authorities are trying to take you to hospital but Mojahedin Khalq refuse access contact trapped members inside cultic Ashraf garrison. The leaders of the Rajavi cult do not let you go to the hospital in Baghdad and yet they claim that the Iraqis are doing so. Truly who is stopping you to go out of Ashraf garrison except the leaders of the cult?

The truth is that the Iraqi authorities and the Iraqi forces have no objections for a nurse and an interpreter to accompany you to the hospital in Baghdad, but the cult demands one of its officials to escort you. This might be quite normal for those mind manipulated members of the cult that no one (even MKO members in Europe and America) is allowed to move to anywhere without being accompanied by a “minder”!, but this is not normal for those who are not living in a cult. The MKO leaders wish to send a minder along with you to make sure that you do not make any contact with the outside world. They do not want you to be away from the regular brainwashing practices for even one night. You think the people outside the cult would understand such a humiliation to an individual?

You might know that it is now more than 9 months that some families of the members seized inside Ashraf garrison are picketing outside Ashraf gates and demand to visit their loved ones after many years. The cult claims that their voice bothers those staying in the hospital; therefore you surely have heard them. Perhaps we can let you know about the context of this letter in this manner. What is your opinion about these families? Do they have the right to visit and embrace their relatives after so many years or not?

We have no doubt that the cult leaders have forced you to talk in front of the camera and pushed you to enter their political game in favor of certain cliques against the Iraqi government. And yet the MKO claims that the presence of the families outside Ashraf garrison and their demand of visiting their loved ones is a political showoff. This has certainly occurred to your mind that the cult leaders do not care about your health and they only think about their political purposes. Their intention is to misuse your situation to create controversy in order to cover up their own deadlock. Why is the cult in a situation that the leaders are scared to let a high ranking member to stay outside Ashraf garrison for a short period and be away from the tight control of the cult?

Actually the government and the authorities of Iraq as well as the Iraqi forces have been ever so compliant against a foreign terrorist organization inside their country. The MKO cult has privileges inside Iraq that many citizens do not have in their own country. No foreign force has experienced the extent of freedom that the MKO is enjoying in Iraq. The MKO terrorist cult backed by warmongering elements in the western policy does interfere inside Iraq’s internal affairs and consider the cult above the law in this country. But what is important is that some have been sacrificed and Rajavi does not care about their comfort and their lives and sees them as his own slaves and tools. Should everything be done and be used for the desires of the leader?

We in the SFF executive committee wholeheartedly wish you well very soon and we would do all in our capacity to make sure that you would be moved to the hospital in Baghdad, Although the cult leaders do not wish so and they would do anything to stop you going to the hospital. We are certain that Rajavi is willing to see something happens to you and he would have some fuel for his propaganda machine.

The disarmament and consequences for Rajavi’s Cult

The disarmament of MKO forces by coalition forces in Iraqi Freedom Operation was one of the most problematic phases in the organization’s history.

After the fall of Saddam Hussein and the arrival of US military to Ashraf garrison, MKO leaders Mahmoud Dashtestani - MKO former member made significant changes in their policy in order to maintain their garrison. To be able to prolong their stay in Iraq, they shifted their agenda to get close to "Enemy", because they needed to maintain Ashraf at any cost even the cost of violating the principals of the organization! The only way left to keep Ashraf was to get along with the American’s policy. MKO was classified as a foreign terrorist group so admitting the relationship with MKO by US was seriously doubted.

Although Iraqi people seriously opposed the existence of MKO in their territory, neither MKO nor US paid attention to them.

The huge turn in MKO’s policy regarding US was not acceptable to a large number of ranks who were not aware of the group’s equations with the world. The leaders of the group thought of making some excuses to repair the minds of those who had hesitated to obey the new policies, so they started holding daily political meetings. During the meetings they had to answer a lot of questions crossed members’ minds like:"what does an army without arm mean?" "Why don’t we give up?" "What are we hopeful for?" or "You said and you are still saying that struggling without arm is meaningless, so what happened to those slogans?" and etc.

Meanwhile, the argument on "family" was brought about. The leaders were sure that if the notion of family had been revived in the minds of members, they could have no longer stayed in the camp. This fact terrified the leaders who had to encounters various problems in the camp.

Thus the disarmament of Mujahedin Khalq Organization became the key factor to break the spell of the members’ minds. They started thinking about their past and future which seemed catastrophic to the leaders. It was just like an enzyme called family that affects all political, strategic and organizational lines in MKO. Eight years past that time, the leaders of cult are still incapable of controlling those minds that are seeking family and future.

Today the families who are on strike at Ashraf gates are not allowed to visit their children but their presence is like an encouragement for Ashraf captives who see them near to themselves. They see a number of people thinking of them. They find out that family and love are not dead, although Rajavi wants to kill them.

The Rajavis may be able to penetrate Iraqi political parties and members of its parliament; they may succeed in buying the votes of Iraqi tribe leaders spending large amounts; they may be able to destabilize the political scene of Iraq in their own favor by working with US intelligence, to maintain Ashraf Garrison for a few more days but they never succeed to bar members’ emotions and love. A day will come when the emotions will be so powerful that will cope with the whole money and deception the Rajavis spend. That day is not far away.

The disarmament was the turning point that made the members think of the outside world. They thought of the life they had wasted in MKO. They thought of the trap they had been taken in.

If they are defenders of human right, why they keep elderly parents and young children out of the camp and prevent them from visiting their loved ones?

I remember they told us:"we delivered the arms to take care of the arm owners" but I know the fact was something else. Rajavi never concerns about the lives of people. The fact was that Rajavi knew that his absolute power over his organization system would disappear if he didn’t deliver the arms. He didn’t think of his ranks at all. He just chanted these slogans to deceive our minds, the minds of me and my comrades who used to adore him but his lies worked for only two years then everything broke down in our minds…

MKO former members meet with authorities of Amnesty International

A delegation of MKO former members met with authorities of Amnesty International. During the meeting they described and clarified the situation of picketing families of Rajavis’ Cult hostages at Camp New Iraq (formerly Ashraf ) as well as the condition and situation of captive members of the MKO Cult. They also declared the families’ rightful demands of visiting with their loved ones. They asked the Amnesty international to intervene and force the MKO aka PMOI/MEK/MKO leadership to allow those families to see and meet their loved ones.

Honorable and distinguished President of Amnesty International in France Madam. Genevieve Garrigos,

As you are well informed through many revelations which have been accomplished by many freed and rescued former members of pmoi (Rajavi’s cult) in recent months , since eight months ago many desperate elderly people who are the family of some of those captivated members inside the military garrison ,so called Ashraf base located in Diyali province ,the township of khalis, have been picketing to show their complaint and protest against the pmoi’s leadership and operatives who do not allow them to meet their loved ones in Ashraf which is one of the preliminary rights of any human being. Those mentioned families have been badly threated by the operatives of pmoi whom in many occasions have passed and violated the red line of human rights charter. I would like to draw your attention to some of those violations which are as follows:

The pmoi operatives have slandered and accused those honorable families ,who are mostly elderly people, by bringing some of their brainwashed members to swear and curse those families .

The high ranking members of this cult have attacked those families in the groups of 40-50 and in one occasion one of the woman commanders with the name of Hengameh Haji Hassan attacked those families with a sharp cold arms to harm them but fortunately her vicious and violent act was thwarted by Iraqi police who were present at the scene.

The pmoi leadership have forced and coerced some of their brainwashed members to participate in pmoi TV program so called Simayeh Azadi to swear and accuse those elderly people whom are their relatives. If those chosen miserable members refuse their leadership orders , they will be badly punished and pestered by the operatives of pmoi.

The tough security measures have been carried out inside Ashraf garrison by the direct order of pmoi leadership based in France specially after the escape of 6 members from Ashraf garrison. Two of those escapes have occurred recently , but two other escape attempts were failed and they got arrested and beaten up by the operatives of pmoi.

The people who succeeded to escape mentioned that the leadership of pmoi has intimidated all the members of being tortured and killed by those elderly families and Iraqi police if they try to escape from Ashraf garrison .

The pmoi leadership has mentioned and pointed out that the Iraqi government does not allow those families to meet with their loved ones but this statement is completely untruth and is a big lie which pmoi leadership by telling it wants to cover the real reason .

We are former member of pmoi and human rights activist urging and entreating all human rights organizations specially Red cross organization and Amnesty international to step forward and intervene in this humanitarian incident and force pmoi leadership to allow those families to see and meet their loved ones whom have been deprived of having any sentiment and love to their families because of tough and vicious cultic regulations and policy for a long period of time.

Letter of Miss Babaee Nezhad to the International and humanitarian organizations

In the name of God

I am Maryam Babaee Nezhad, daughter of Ja’far, 21 years old, living in Gazvin in Iran.
My mother was three months pregnant when my father who was a soldier in the Iran-Iraq war was captured by the Iraqis and became a prisoner of war. Many years past and I had no news from my father.

My grandfather Ali-Akbar became my guardian. After a while we were informed that my father has disappeared and following that we learned that he became a martyr.

For years whenever I wanted to talk to someone, I used to look at my father’s picture and I used to talk to him for hours. I had accepted the fact that I am an orphan.

Two years ago the Nejat Society in Iran contacted my grandfather and informed him that they have learned from the ex-members returning from Iran that his son (my father) is still alive and living in the Ashraf garrison the base of Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iraq.

That day when my grandfather came home I noticed that his eyes are full of tears. I asked instantly: “Oh grandfather! For God sake, please tell me what has happened”. He hugged me and then said: “My dear daughter, your father is alive”.

When I heard this from my grandfather I felt like a fireball. All I remember is that I screamed and I started crying and fall into the arms of my grandfather.

Oh God what is it that I am hearing? Is it true? Is my father alive? And I used to repeat these words continuously.

I told my grandfather why he is siting and doing nothing. I ask him to go and see my father immediately. He sighed and said: “I wish he was still a prisoner of war in the hands of Iraqis. As they say he is now with the MKO and Saddam Hussein gave him to them and apparently he is not allowed to see his family. As it appears in their cult even passing letters or contacting the family or anyone outside Ashraf garrison is forbidden”.

My grandfather said that he would do his best to approach Ashraf garrison with the hope that they might let him to visit his son.

Since I learned that my father is still alive and I cannot even call him I have cried day and night. After long waiting I eventually came to the gate of the Ashraf garrison along with my grandfather 5 months ago.

For two months I cried on a closed gate day and night and I called for my father, but the commanders of the garrison refused to let me see my father for even one hour after 22 years. I got sore eyes and had to return to Iran to undergo an operation on my eye.

I could not tolerate being away from my father. I had no motivation to study and I was ever so anxious to see my father. I insisted my grandfather to take me back to Iraq with the hope that may be this time they let us see him.
When my grandfather saw that he cannot calm me he took me back to Iraq to the gate of Ashraf garrison. This time I saw that many other families are picketing there.

Ms. Sorayya Abdollahi embraced me like her own daughter and asked about my eye. I asked her if they have let the families to see their loved ones. She said with sorrow: “No my daughter. But during this time several members have managed to escape. I hope that your father be able to escape one day and cuddle her loved one”.

During this time in front of the gate of Ashraf garrison I called my father several times from the loudspeakers. I do not know if they allow my father to hear my grief.

The doctors say that if I keep crying my other eye would be infected too and that is the case at the present time. Now that Massoud Rajavi (leader of MKO cult) does not allow me to see my father I prefer to go blind and not see anything at all. A girl in my age needs a father but my father is seized by a cult.

I call upon all international organizations and humanitarian activists in Europe and in America. Come and see how Rajavi is playing with the emotions and destiny of a 22 years old girl whose wish is just to see her father.

I call upon all those who claim they fight for human rights and yet support Rajavi and his cult. Come and see how this group is dealing with its own members and their families.

I long for my father. Who should I say this? Mr. Ban Ki-moon? Mr. Obama? The Iraqi authorities? The Iranian authorities? Who?

With our best regards to Human Rights Watch organization for their constant and steady endeavors toward human rights throughout the world,

As you are well informed that a number of elderly fathers and mothers of the cult’s captives who traveled to Iraq ,hoping to see their loved ones after many years of imposed and compelled distance in New Iraq Garrison(Former Ashraf) ,got astounded and shocked because the operatives and official of the cult do not allow them to meet their loved ones. They have waited since 3 months ago to see their relatives in that garrison , but instead of meeting their loved ones , they have been insulted and slandered by the cult’s operatives since their arrival .These families despite of bad weather and the lack of accommodation , are persisting to see their relatives . Despite of their age and bad weather , they are very determined to find a solution to see their loved ones.

Your Excellency , with this preface we would like to draw your attention to this fact that we the backers and supporters of the Seminar , Support of the Rajavi’s castle victim’s families (Ashraf Garrison-Iraq) which occurred in Paris on 19th of June /2010, are separated and victimized members, critics and families of those stranded victims in Ashraf garrison who have a brother , sister, father or mother and friends in there who are under severe indoctrination and brain washing methods .We had been in the same situation as they are now ,but we could set ourselves free from all those indoctrinations and brain washing methods and fortunately we gained our freedom by separating ourselves from this organization, and now after gaining our freedom, together we want to help the other victims who are still kept in Ashraf Garrison and pmoi’s main headquarters in Paris

We urge you to provide an opportunity for those families awaiting behind closed gates to meet their loved ones whom they have not seen them for 20 years in some cases. The leadership of this cult (PMOI) have deprived those victims of having any communication with their loved ones by labeling those desperate families as Iranian intelligence service agent whereas this leadership lyingly pretend that they are supporting human rights and Iranian people’s rights, but we should ask the leaders of this cult that are not those families part of Iranian people? at the end ,I appreciate all your efforts towards helping those desperate families to see their relatives and i am entreating you again to provide an opportunity for those families to meet their loved ones , who are living in a very bad and harsh situation inside Ashraf camp.

In the memory of my mother

I find an excuse to get out of the dorm. My look reaches out beyond the fences and the bars of the camp where a crowd of women with black gowns and veils can be well identified. There are men next to them who shout something with clenched, raised fists. They are not too distanced for our ear to hear them. A little concentration and by listening to the echoed sounds of the speakers, it becomes clear that they are mothers who are picketing behind the gates of Camp Ashraf for months to meet their children.

It is not too hard to perceive they are shouting something synchronous with the Mother’s Day. I dig into my mind to better remember the day they are referring to. During all the years I spent in Ashraf, I hardly remember to have heard about celebration of the Mother’s Day to appreciate her. Whatever I remember concerns a variety of discussions all about how to kill familial emotions and how to clean our memory of them. The worst unforgivable error we dared to mention in our daily report was a mental flashback to the family. And the glare our responsible-rank gave us was so horrible as if we had committed a big crime. And gradually we came to learn that family and any remembrance of it had to be put within a red-line and forbidden territory.

Looking at the silhouette of the angry crowd surrounded by the raised cloud of dust, my mind flies back to the past. To twenty-five years ago when I was a young man full of spirit and encouraged by a promising future. When I supplicated my mother to pray for me and she did after each daily prayer. When my heart was full of my family’s love. And the last memory was a gift, purchased by my father’s help, I presented to my mother in one of the cold days of March in 1986. I remember nothing else. Now after all these years I feel the air filled with the love of mothers who long to see their children only a few hundred meters far from them, the children who can find excuses from time to time to glance at the float of emotions from the far. My illusion was flaying in a hope to visualize a distant visage of my mother among the crowd and I sharpened my ears to hear a voice somehow close to her tone.

What I tried was futile. The heat here is too high and I am drawn back to the cold winter of the countryside around Tajrish, to a cold, snowy day in March 1986. To a warm room whose misted glass symbolically predicted my vague and dark future. And the memory of a mother who I don’t know how many springs and winters later where, when and why passed away without the least hope and news from her son.

And I was here, I don’t know how many years later, when they informed me of my mother’s death written on a piece of paper, attached by a simple condolence note, without a precise date. I am still looking at the mass of mothers far before me. And behind them, my eyes fix on the mirage formed at end of an asphalt road.

Do U.S. families have greater rights to visit children than Iranian families?

I read in a number of newspapers, that the Iranian government decided to approve the visas for three American families to visit their children, who had been arrested inside Iranian territory on charges of illegal entry.

… The dialogue that took place between Iranian and U.S. sides which resulted in the Iranians’ approval to allow these families to visit their three children must, for those following this story, focus attention on facts and issues that are linked to each other. Among the most important thing being that the charges levelled at the regime of Iran by the Americans are that it is a totalitarian dictatorial regime which is, as well, doing all in its power to covertly possess nuclear capability, and that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism. I am not, here, …dwelling on the charges made against Iran. In addition I am not obliged to defend this country. But the truth must be stated within the framework of logic and objectivity. When we talk about rights and subject them to evaluation, we are going to find that what distinguishes this man from the other one is based on their proximity to the hearts of the people. And this is undoubtedly true of Iran and its neighbours. The relationship of Iran to its credit is that while Iraq was still going through many crises, what will determine the nature of their relationship in the future, is the position as to whether they [Iraqis] were Arabs or Muslims, or human beings.

It is known that the MKO, which is notorious in the international community as a terrorist organization, is now outside the authority of the Iraqi government. And this strengthens the view of those whose voices have grown to hold them accountable for activities and crimes committed against our people…

But the Iraqi government has not succeeded yet in its demand that the group leave Iraqi territory, despite the fact that what would achieve justice is that the criminals in the organisation, whose hands are stained with the blood of our people, be held accountable before leaving Iraqi land.

What is happening inside this organization is that those …whose conscience urges them to want to meet their families and loved ones, who are led to rise up in a revolt against their leaders and try to break free from the group’s values and objectives which are based on a desperate fascist hatred, are arrested and imprisoned and suffer woe and destruction.
And when I tried to visit these people, following a large body of news about the suffering of its people under the penalty of the dictatorship of the Mojahedin, my visit was met by the face dark and abusive behaviour of the Mojahedin leaders at the Camp Ashraf garrison, and the families, facing the walls of humiliation and shame and confusion created by them, failed to achieve their goal, which was to see their children.

These families staged a sit-in four months ago, in front of the notorious camp in Diyala province. They have asked the United States Ambassador Christopher Hill to intervene and pressure the leaders of the organization and its officials to end their suffering and find a solution meeting their children.

This reinforces the fact that the Iraqi government does not have the resolution to rein in the Mojahedin, and this has directed these families to writing an open letter to Hill, urging him to speed up the intervention and end this suffering.

The United States of America… asked for American citizens to visit their children who were arrested inside Iran on charges of illegal entry, and Iran allowed them to do so. The U.S. is called upon today to take a humanistic counterpart to the situation of Iran and to get the Mojahedin organization to lift the injustice against those who are detained inside the garrison and let their families and meet with them. But, how far is the one situation from the other?

Whose right is being violated?

It seems that the four month-long gathering of the families who have been asking to meet with their relatives held in Camp Ashraf has paralyzed the organization as the leaders never anticipated the prolongation of the gathering. The families’ established camp just in front of The families are determined to rescue their enslaved children and relatives from the mouth and claws of the terrorist fiends Ashraf, regardless of the harsh condition they are facing, indicates that they are determined to rescue their enslaved children and relatives from the mouth and claws of the terrorist fiends. But the orchestrated propaganda blitz by MKO appears to have beguiled some unaware world organizations whose only source of information is the organization itself.

Released by MKO’s media, the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) has announced its concern about the residents in Camp Ashraf on June 3. In some part it reads “In recent months, its residents have reportedly been subjected to orchestrated harassment carried out jointly by Iraqi authorities and the Iranian regime. Since February 2010, dozens of individuals, purporting to be family members of the residents have been assembled at the Camp’s main gate, where they have been shouting profanities and threatening another violent attack”.

As a globally known terrorist cult that respects no ethics in its political and social demeanor, MKO has a repute of having problem with conventional values and whatever secures the coherence of human relations and hardly one can encounter and hear terms like family, father, mother, wife, husband, son and daughter in its lexicon as they are all dangerous threats to its integrity. While it brainwashes members that they have to sacrifice them all to reach higher goals and to fulfill the organization’s greater aimed causes, it offers no answer to the question that what is the good of a human society totally devoid of love, passion, attachment and whatever human values that differentiate him from animals.

The mere chanted slogans of defending women’s right, although it is another ploy to be recognized a pro-democratic campaigner, does not signify that it believes in what it chants. What are really the rights of women it tries to defend? Is it their right to be deprived of the greatest responsibility the nature has endowed them? What happens to the world if there are organizations like MKO that just consumes the young males of a generation? Even Adolf Hitler that sent millions of people to their death did not ignore women and the pivotal role they play to preserve man’s race: “The sacrifices which the man makes in the struggle of his nation, the woman makes in the preservation of that nation. What the man gives in courage on the battlefield, the woman gives in eternal self-sacrifice, in eternal pain and suffering. Every child that a woman brings into the world is a battle, a battle waged for the existence of her people”. And what has been the reaction of the leaders and some certain organization and advocates of MKO to the cries of the mothers gathered before the gates of Ashraf demanding to see the ones they have brought into the life? It is not so hard a task to identify if the gathered “individuals” are “purporting to be family members of the residents”.

The families are doing what they have to as their duty towards their children, but more has to be done. It is also a responsibility on the concerned humanitarian organizations that are watching the predicament surrounding the families, a number of whom are old, in front of Ashraf. Their only demand is to be granted their rights, the heavenly endowed rights that men have arrogated.
