It is a common understanding that terrorists continue their aggressive and parasitic life through The emergency issue to be dealt with at the moment is survival of suffering members of MKO violating human rights and breaching the principles of democracy. A modern type is using the pretext of human rights and democracy against adversaries and opponents whenever it suits. It is not surprising to see them proposing annihilation of human beings and supporting the most tyrannical and brutal approaches in order to reach their selfish, anti-human interests. It is not also surprising to see that terrorists who are committing the most horrible crimes, or have the potentiality, are sponsored by the states and supported by the advocates that not only appreciate their bellicose, aggressive attitude of opposition but are also nice to them so long as they are serving as useful servants.

Mojahedin Khalq Organization MKO/MEK/MKI/PMOI strategy of armed warfare that constitutes its organizational infrastructure from its very formation has confronted the organization with a new challenge in spite of its widespread propaganda to convince the West it has made revisions. But it seems that MKO gets much advantage out of an equivocal attitude. In many occasions, MKO has admitted the necessity of armed struggle as an ideological necessity that constitutes the violent ontology of MKO. And that is what the western advocates of MKO expect it more than its chanting slogans of democracy particularly when they are reportedly in a warlike array for hostile purposes against the Iranian regime.

Reported to have spoken on Capitol Hill, General Thomas McInerney USAF (ret) alongside former CIA officer Clare Lopez demanded the US to abandon diplomatic efforts with Iran and to remove MEK from the terrorist list, and prepare for all-out war. They argued that the time had passed to resolve the nuclear issue with Iran, and the US should instead actively pursue regime change by military and covert means. He called for the Obama administration to remove the MEK from the Foreign Terrorist Organization list, which under current law prohibits the United States from working with the group:

“The MEK is being thrown under the bus by the Obama administration. The Clinton and Bush administration also threw them under the bus. It is criminal what has been done there and how we have treated these people who have been such valuable allies to us.”

In their debate over whether to go to war with Iranian regime, hawks once more draw MKO along to pat as a valuable ally, and no doubt it has proved to be. Crime, as they define it, is not the atrocities perpetrated by the terrorists their own administrations have blacklisted for undeniable and sound evidences; it is dismissing the rewards they had promised to provide notwithstanding the undisputable slaughter of many thousands of lives recorded in the group’s nearly half-decade long history of armed struggle.

The hawks’ suggestion to delist MKO as the valuable allay in the battle against Iran once more verifies the fact that some other colleagues definitely put the finger on in the State Department’s report presented to Congress on MKO in 1994, stressing that “They [Mojahedin] established an organization dedicated to armed struggle”. The blatant truth is that they are in need of no human rights activists or seekers of democracy, however hollow the slogans are. They are in need of some names in their propaganda warfare to bully the adversary, however hollow the name is.

MKO is only a name manipulated in a political game to warranty interests, although it does anything in its power to survive, being it blatant violation of human rights and breaching the principles of democracy. To be fair, delisting MKO never helps to liberate its enslaved members but serves the interests of its sponsors and advocates. The emergency issue to be dealt with at the moment is survival of many hundred suffering members of MKO abused at the hands of the group as the pretext of human rights violation.

People expect that men of law be alert to the possibility of dangers that threaten their society The rule of law has to be followed to safeguard human rights not the interests of the violators because there are always villains to interpret law in their own interests. But the worst part is when the lawyer collaborates to represent on behalf of the wrong parties to flout the law and to interpret it in the way that pleases them. Obviously enough, some lawyers care about the thickness of the bundles of dollars more than caring about promotion of justice and abating the possibility of threats posed by their clients. Allan Gerson is one among other attorneys involved in representing the terrorist MKO in its efforts to be removed from the State Department List of Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

In an attempt to justify the suit on behalf of MKO he said that in his presidential election Obama claimed, “… the rule of law would be followed, and followed strictly. Above all, human rights were to be safeguarded zealously. … The PMOI sued because it was fed up with the State Department’s persistent refusal to remove it from the Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list despite a previous order of the same Court requiring that this be done unless the State Department demonstrated valid reasons to justify the contrary”.

The Secretary Hillary Clinton, a lawyer herself, had agreed to re-designation of MKO according to the rule of law and based on justifiable, classified and unclassified, evidences and reasons. However, it was not surprising to expect the terrorist group fill a law suit against the State Department, given that the defendant had reasonably dragged its heels to follow directives mandating due process to a designated terrorist group. No law is breached to its real concept. Nobody demurs that the rule of law has to be followed strictly, but a listed terrorist group is in no position to be frustrated by and fed up with the regulations of a legal body whose responsibility is to safeguard the interests of the nation. It is the gaps in the laws and the skill of lawyers that embolden a leashed violator of human rights to wage a law struggle to be unleashed.

It is not so bad a thing to hear a terrorist group renouncing terrorism and trying to prove its decisiveness. But it also has to prove that it respects the principles of human rights for the violation of which it has been repeatedly chastised. Majority of its members residing in two camps in Iraq, Camp Ashraf and Temporary Transit Location TTL, are living under the worst, sub human condition as it claims. The solution is easily provided; the group should, as already agreed, move all residents in Camp Ashraf to TTL to undergo refugee possess as a preliminary to be sent to other countries. The impediment to fulfill the process is MKO itself that well indicates another example of violating human rights. How can the State Department trust that the group will not return to terrorism as it fails to respect the least rights for its own insiders? It has already announced that the key factor to a review of MKO’s tagging is its cooperation in complete relocation of its members to the transit center. Then, when MKO pays huge sums of money and roams the courts of law to sue the State Department it means that neither it respects human rights and obligations nor it intends to fully cooperate with the concerned international bodies.

The rule of law has to be followed to safeguard human rights rather than the interests of the violators. Regardless of the struggles of the paid lawyers, and so far as the regulations warranty the priority of human rights, a lawyer should be observant of serious threat to the world security and peace, otherwise he is a collaborator with his clients.

It is a global responsibility to support women vulnerable to any form of threat and the international woman’s day is the best occasion to remind the responsibility. But it is much discouraging when you see that the she-guru of a notorious terrorist cult takes advantage of the occasion to conceal her group’s ill-mannered, undemocratic fashion.

In a conference held in Paris on March 10, Maryam Rajavi made a speech in the presence of women gathered from several continents and called for support of female members of the group settled in two locations in Iraq, the military camp of Ashraf and the Temporary Transit Location TTL. The conference was held at a time when the majority of the group’s female members, nearly one third of it, are suffering the harsh conditions and treatments of the recognized terrorist cult.

In her speech, Rajavi said: “Women in MKO suffer crushing physical and psychological pressures under the hollow slogans of being the pioneers and heroines of freedom and democracy”. There is no doubt about the first phrase of her sentence, but, alas, the bare truth about MKO is that “freedom and democracy” have no meaning and place.

In the contemporary history, no cult has overexposed women using them instrumentally as much as MKO. Although Mojahedin have adopted the false ideological and strategic slogan of setting women free form social, conventional, religious, and historical bonds, yet in practice women have been subject to a kind of modern slavery under the cover of freedom through mental and physical convincing mechanisms. Massoud Rajavi, the absent leader of the group, has focused all his efforts in recent years to misuse various social, cultural, religious, and ethical backgrounds to subjugate women. In this regard, he has exploited the emotional attachments and nature of women as well as their ethical, religious, and traditional constraints to increase their dependence on the organization preventing their leaving from the organization.

Meanwhile, promoting women in leadership cadre of the organization is one of the tricks for intensifying the various aspects of this slavery. In the context of a modern slavery bastion, as MKO leaders acknowledge, the main role of MKO’s female rank and file is to be used as human shields for protecting leadership. The published expose and memories by the separated members indicate that the women in MKO have been abused as easy and accessible instruments in the hands of Rajavi to be victimized whenever necessary. Up to that time their role is safeguarding the military bastion of Ashraf as the ideological and strategic container of MKO.

However, the issue of misusing MKO female members has been ignored due to Rajavi’s covering it under the banner of the emancipation of women. The former members have repeatedly referred to the significance of women for Rajavi. He is well aware that the special characteristics of these women like their emotional attachments, lack of support and ethical and religious constraints has excluded the possibility of their leaving from the organization. Besides, they are under the instilled spell of an imaginary threat if they leave the organization. Maryam Rajavi is right when she says “Women in MKO suffer crushing physical and psychological pressures”, yet here the question arises that who poses these pressures and threats?

During the earlier events and conflicts in camp Ashraf, it was observed that these women were used as human shields to prevent the entrance of Iraqi police to camp and also to win the sympathy of the world toward the residents. What is of the significance in the full-scale propaganda blitz of MKO is the insistence on the necessity of saving the life of women members, while hardly you can see any move by the organization to guarantee the welfare, security and freedom of female members. And how many women have been spotted among the two relocated groups from Ashraf to TTL while, as asserted by almost any international convention, the sick people, women and children have the priority of any relocation from a harsh to a better location?

As the female MKO members are easy scapegoats to be victimized, Rajavi seems to be determined to preserve them as human shields for defending Ashraf. In this regard, taking necessary measures for setting Rajavi’s victims free from cultic relations is of highest priority for Iraqi government and the international bodies. And our main responsibility is making the public opinion and the concerned bodies aware of this imminent disaster. MKO female members have been the most ill-fated and vulnerable stratum of the cult of Mojahedin in the past and recent years and now after years of suffering and misuse, they are supposed to be used as Rajavi’s bargaining chips out of any encountered impasse.

I , as one of the former officials of pmoi( People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran) with 25 years Karim Gholami: Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, Rajavi cult) is a cultic organization record of service and a wounded of pmoi military operations, would like to draw your attention to the conditions of the patients and the wounded in this organization. after passing almost one month of the new year , 2012, no one has left Ashraf camp to another place yet. This is the method and the function of the pmoi leadership which by putting obstacles and hurdles and creating different excuses ,disrupt the peaceful routine, but amid all problems the conditions of the patients and the wounded who are residing in Ashraf camp , is the worst , so I am urging you to have special attention to the wounded and patients in this camp and you should prioritize them in leaving the camp , in this regard I draw your attention to the following points:
1.Pmoi is a cultic organization which its members do not have any authority to make a decision . the Iranians who are captive in this cult , for years have been deprived of having any access to the Media . the pmoi members have been deprived of the preliminary facilities such as Radio, TV, Telephone, internet, and Newspaper , and the News which is given to the members of this cult is censored and chosen by the pmoi operatives. For this reason the members of this cult do not have any idea about their rights and international laws to make a decision freely and consciously .

2.The leaders of this cult by severe strangulation and suppression against their own members inside the organization and making false and fake accusations against all separated members of this cult , have created great concern and fear inside the organization and as a result of that the members of this cult because of their fear of punishment do not dare to leave the cult. the members who want to separate from the cult will be facing harsh and cruel punishments such as forcible participation in brainwashing sessions which in these sessions they will be beaten up and in continuation they will be facing imprisonment accompanied by inhuman tortures and in some cases even the dissidents got executed and disappeared .

3.This cult by different ways and methods brainwashes its own members and during many years of nonstop brainwashing, it has filled the head of its own members with many lies, for instance if someone separates from the cult will be indicted by Iranian and Iraqi intelligence service and they will be imprisoned , tortured and finally executed by them , so the members of this cult because of their fear of being caught and executed , do not dare to leave this cult whatsoever.

4.From 2003 to 2009 the Ashraf camp had been under the supervision and control of the US army and during those years , they had been receiving many facilities such as medication and medicine, medical facilities , fuel and food but non of those stuffs had never reached to the hands of the cult members and instead those items were sold in Iraq black markets or they were used by the leaders and operatives of this cult. For instance I programmed a database for the pharmacy in Ashraf camp and to complete this programming I was going to this pharmacy consecutively for one year . I had seen many times that very big size boxes of medicine by the dimensions of 2 cubic meters were given to that pharmacy by the US army but during those years I had never seen even one of those medicines in the hands of the cult members whatsoever, and instead the leaders of this cult were saying to their patients that the Iraqi government does not allow the medical facilities to enter to the camp and we do not have any medicine .

5.The death of the patients and the wounded of this cult as a result of the lack of treatment : I would like to draw your attention to the health situation of the two of my friends , the first one Mr. Abbas Haj Husseini who in one of the cult military operations in 1988 got wounded by a bullet in his Cervical Spinal Cord and he got paralyzed , Abbas always wanted to go to Europe to be treated and cured but the leaders of this cult not only did not pay attention to his request , but also as I saw twice he was threatened by Massoud Rajavi , the leader of this cult , to be handed over to the Iranian government. The first time was in 1995 and the second time was in 2002 , but unfortunately as a result of the lack of attention and treatment , he died and was buried in pmoi cemetery called Ghatayeh Morvarid( The Pearl) in Ashraf Camp.

My second friend , Mr. Farhad……… who in one of the pmoi military operations in 1986 got wounded by a bullet in his Lumbar Spinal Cord and he got paralyzed . Farhad always wanted to leave this cult but the leaders of this cult rejected his request all the time and finally in 2008 as a result of the foot bone fracture and the lack of treatment ,his foot got infected and he died.

6.The leaders of this cult have been always endeavoring and struggling to cover up and conceal the situation of their patients and wounded so no international organizations be able to have access to these patients and wounded because the leaders of this cult do not want to be accountable and responsive for their death .

According to the facts mentioned above , I am urging you to pay special attention to those patients and wounded and their juridical situation be prioritized so they can be able to have access to the doctor and medicine as soon as possible to prevent the death of many more. I had been in this cult till 2009, till then the number of the wounded , paralyzed and mutilation , was 50 and after 2009 during two conflicts which occurred in there , the number of injured has increased.

To help these people , first you should take them out of the cult perimeter so they can meet their medical needs and get familiar with their rights to make a decision for their future and life freely and consciously . in this regard I am ready to cooperate with you voluntarily and even, if it is necessary to go to Iraq to help those people , I will do it.

MKO cult leader, imposes conditions for releasing his hostages

The respected MeK dissidents nowadays have reported receiving letters from Ashraf residents who are seeking to exit the camp but they have problems, the most important is the thorny treating of the MeK leadership.

Rajavi has declared to the forces who sought departure that if they announce that they are”frightened”,”desperate”, and”regretful of fighting with the regime”, he would let them to leave the camp through three ways:

1. Betimes he introduces them to an Iraqi police station.

2. Each individual’s family to come and remove him/ her.

3. After lifting the siege and in possible time, they would be allowed to go out to everywhere, provided that until then they must totally adhere to the organization and avoid”putting obstacle”.

For all these scenarios, MeK leadership has put the condition that exit accomplishment depends on”not being contaminated and associated with the regime”. However, he had already designated Iraqi police and the families as the Iranian government’s agents that attending them is an unforgivable sin and is deserving execution.

It means that the forces who seek departure actually have no option except choosing the third way and waiting until the leadership decides to evacuate the camp. Up to that time, based on the commitment to the group, they have no right to protest (or what is called”putting obstacle”in the cult).

Also, MeK supervisors in Camp Ashraf are fantasizing insecurities and risks that threaten each of the forces outside the camp, in order to expand the Atmosphere of inanition and panic of going out.

Now, it seems that MeK leadership instead of alarming the troops about the enemies, who are standing in lines at the Ashraf gates, should struggle with the force uprising within the gates.

We are a group of freed and liberated people from Rajavi’s cult who are currently living in Paris, we would like to draw your attention to the facts which we experienced them bitterly during our stay in this cult;

1. The pmoi( People’s Mujahedin Organization ) has been recognized as a terrorist organization throughout the world and from the day one of their foundation , they established their strategy and policy on violence , terror , and mass killings and they have perpetrated many violent and terrorist crimes against Iranian people.

2. By having the knowledge of this fact that pmoi has been the first organization which has begotten and expanded suicide missions in the middle east and currently they are following it with more progressive methods than before.

3. By confirmation of this fact that the security and the well being of the separated members of this cult throughout the world has been threatened consecutively by the Rajavi’s terrorist cult and these separated members have confronted with variety of dangers and also inside the Ashraf castle , the leaders and operatives of this organization have created and established the same terror and slow death for their captives and dissidents in there.

4. By having the knowledge of this fact that the pmoi has been listed and categorized as a foreign terrorist organization in the US state department terrorist list since 1997 and they have remained in that terrorist list since then.

5. By having the knowledge of this fact that many of those stranded captives do not want to stay under the tyrant domination of Rajavi , but Rajavi does not allow them to leave the organization and nobody has been informed and heard that what has happened exactly against the dissidents inside the Rajavi’s prisons and because of that the cult leaders have been carrying out any possible harassment comfortably against the dissidents inside Ashraf.

You should be also informed of the following facts ;

1. The people residing in Ashraf camp do not have any authorization to communicate with each other freely by no means.

2. The dissidents should not leave their designated perimeter .

3. Every night , the dissidents should face the brainwashing and indoctrination sessions which is accompanied by swearing , curse and insult.

4. The residents of Ashraf camp are not allowed to meet and visit their family and their loved ones.

5. The people who show their willingness to leave the organization , they will be facing harsh punishment in collective sessions such as swearing , curse , insult , beat up and incarceration to pipe down and change their minds .

6. The residents of Ashraf camp who are living in the Ashraf concentration camp, consecutively have been forced to watch and listen to the Rajavi’s audios and videos and Organizational Anthems as well as the fake and false movie clips about the freed and separated members and their connection with Iranian government to insult them and terrorize the dissidents of their future decisions .

Now with all these facts which mentioned above , you should judge that under those fatal and slow death and horrifying and scary circumstances , is it true that all humanitarian organizations specifically your honorable Amnesty international are the only one who are able and capable of helping those stranded captives?

I got informed that 3000 captives ,who have been deprived of any right to have access to the Open letter of Mrs. Soltani to the international pro-human rights institutions and organizations internet , free world as well as society , family and the free Press , finally are going to be transferred and displaced from this garrison( Ashraf).

May be this will be a way out for them from the organizational dead end and I ,as the former member of the pmoi commanding council ,am truly sorry that I see this organization is trying its best to force and compel its tyrant domination over international society according to their 30 years of experience of keeping people as captives in Iraq , in this regard I would like to draw attention of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees( UNHCR), the Iraqi government as well as the French government to the following topics:

1. The people’s Mujahedin Organization is trying its best to buy time by all means to keep those people in captivity as much as possible consequently I condemn any extra time giving to this cult because the leadership of this cult had enough time (eight years )to find safe places and residency for their members and during those eight years they could easily send those stranded members to the safe places but instead we can see clearly that the only thing which the pmoi leadership did after the downfall of Saddam Hussein, was beating on the drums of scuffle and violence and preserving their organization and taking advantage of those captives in Ashraf and this situation has been continuing up to now. The trap which the pmoi leadership has enough experience about it specially in dealing with American forces ,who besieged the garrison(Ashraf) , they could preserve their tyrant organization and during these years they have been continuing the brainwashing of their members as well as keeping them as captives and continuing bloody scuffles with Iraqi forces.
I am urging you not to fall into the same trap which this organization has created for the Iraqi government as well as the UNHCR to keep those stranded members in captivity as much as possible. I am urging you to help those stranded members ,who have been under severe brainwashing methods for years, by interviewing them individually. Their families have been under severe insults , abusive behaviors, and accusations by the pmoi operatives. These stranded members should be under supervision of their families or other humanitarian organizations to be treated from all those psychological and physical pressures.

2. During their stay in the new camp, I am urging you to deal with them like other refugees who have been living in your refugee camps throughout the world, and do not allow the pmoi leadership to take their control and continue brainwashing them like before and like the time which American forces were in charge of the camp , the pmoi leadership did not allow any families and others to enter and visit their loved ones and by this method, the pmoi leadership could preserve its horrifying organization . I am urging you to beget the conditions for those stranded members to have access to the internet, telephone, television , The Press, and The Post . Those members have been deprived of all those things for years and the only people who were allowed to have access to all those , were the commanders and high ranking members of this organization to have their communications with the headquarter of Maryam Rajavi in France to receive violent orders for using them against those members.
You should not allow the pmoi leadership to speak on the behalf of all those members again and they deprive those members of having access to the international institutions and humanitarian organizations and do not allow them to stablish their former organizational hierarchy again and do not allow them to continue their brainwashing and thought detection sessions so called Amaliyateh Jari( current mission) again to put more psychological pressure on the body and soul of all those members. In those sessions which are directly ordered by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi , the stranded members have been under severe psychological pressures which destroy their personality and trample their prestige and at the end of those sessions ,those members become as aimless and without will slaves in the hands of the pmoi leadership.

3. The humane rights of all those members inside the camp such as the right of marriage, the right of meeting and visiting their wife or husband and children should be officially recognized , and they should be allowed to have visitation with their loved ones outside of the camp as well without any interference of the pmoi operatives and leadership. The exerted forcible divorces should all be revoked and the divorced families should have the right to be reunited again. These people have not had any news about their families , friends and the outside world for years. First of all their health news should be given to the families urgently by the international institutions like the Red Cross , second of all they should have access to the telephone and mail to get in touch with their families as well ,and third of all they should be allowed to have regular meetings and visitations with their families and beloved ones without the interference of the pmoi operatives and leadership.

4. As far as I know this cult and its leadership , I am completely sure that they will disrupt the United Nations program and its plan by having requests which does not have any similarity with the refugee criteria and standards and regulations which exist in UN and I warn you not to accept the pmoi leadership requests and instead you should carry out and implement your plan to free all those captives and hostages as soon as possible. You should not accept by no means that the pmoi leadership choose a representative or spokesman to speak on the behalf of all those members. The UN should be fully responsible for any displacement of the members and pmoi leadership should not interfere in this matter by giving UN the list of names with organizational hierarchy who want to be displaced to beget their organizational domination in the new camp once more . Any UNHCR retreat from these facts mentioned above will revive the pmoi leadership objectives which will beget unlawful and illogical requests to kill time and creating more obstacles and hurdles on the refugee path of all those members. For instance I can mention one of Maryam Rajavi’s recent requests that ¨the people who wants to be displaced to the new camp , they should transfer their vehicles to the new camp as well!¨ These kind of requests show that the pmoi leadership do not think about solving the problems of their members and their refugee cases and the only thing which they think about is relocating Ashraf camp as a whole to the new camp and create another Ashraf in there! First of all everybody knows that the real owner of those vehicles is Iraqi government ,second of all residing in other camp as refugee seekers which is under direct supervision of UNHCR, it is no need to have military cars and vehicles in there……….
For this reason the Iraqi officials should reiterate to them once more that the people who are going to be displaced from Ashraf to the new camp should take only their personal stuffs with them ,and these kind of requests from pmoi leadership shows their intention of putting obstacles and hurdles on the UN path and its plan.

5. As it is Chrystal clear that after the dead end of the pmoi strategy and its failure in Iraq , the pmoi leadership and its horrifying organization has concentrated and focused its activities in United States ,Europe , and specially in France and in this regard the Mayors of different cities in France such as Auvers sur Oise , Villepinte, Paris , Taverny , and some of the former members of the French assembly and the deans of the French universities have been under pmoi propaganda bombardment . I warn all French politicians about the pmoi headquarter in Auvers sur oise which is a very good place for both Massoud and Maryam Rajavi to continue their cultic life in there.

Ex MKO members call on MSF to stop medical abuse in Camp Ashraf

Respectfully,

We are a group of former members of pmoi( People’s Mujahedin Organization ) who had been living for a long period of time in Iraq and in different pmoi garrisons . We intend to inform you about important and tangible subjects which we experienced them while we were in pmoi.

Unfortunately , during past years the leaders and operatives of this organization have tried their best to show different image of themselves by resorting to different associations , medical centers, humanitarian and charity organizations throughout European and American countries and in the name of the orphan women and children as well as the wounded and injured members of Ashraf garrison gathered a huge quantity of medical apparatus and equipments as well as money , medicine , food , and clothes or by grave money laundering( as a result of the money laundering they are under prosecution in Europe and United States), they were able to pay and compensate the costs of their political gatherings, demonstrations, and meetings.

We as the former members of this organization who had been present in that organization for a long time can assure you that unfortunately the most of those equipments and apparatuses which were received by the leaders of pmoi, did not reach to the hands of those needed and instead they were directly utilized by pmoi leadership and operatives for personal and other organizational purposes or they were sold in different Iraqi markets and the money had been utilized in Europe and United States for pmoi leadership’s political and propaganda purposes.

We know for sure that the huge amount of those clothes , medicine and food which were given to pmoi operatives and leadership by the US Army for the members did not reach to the hands of those members who needed them badly and instead those items mentioned above were sold in Iraqi markets and some cheaper items with bad quality were purchased by pmoi operatives to replace them , and there is no doubt that the medical equipments and apparatuses which were given by US Army also were utilized somewhere else.
We know for sure that during the past two bloody scuffle between pmoi members and Iraqi forces many of those members got injured and wounded but unfortunately those injured and wounded who some of them were bleeding badly were kept in inappropriate places without enough medical care just because the pmoi leadership wanted to take advantage of them for political and propaganda purposes, and as a result of that some of those injured and wounded members died . For this reason , we who are friends of those stranded members in Ashraf camp and we know them as our family and friends , urge you as the director of the freelance doctors in Iraq who are in humanitarian and medical mission in Iraq to do the following requests:

1. Whatever you can convey and send your rapid and emergency aides to our friends and families who are captives of pmoi ideology and thoughts in Ashraf as soon as possible and by cooperation with Iraqi government beget opportunities who those stranded members can refer to you personally and individually to use your humanitarian and medical aides utterly.

2. We are urging you to give your medical aides to each pmoi individual and needy members without the presence of pmoi operatives and leadership as intermediate and middleman.

3. The other requests which the pmoi medical center asks you for money , medicine, and medical equipments , as we mentioned above should be handled carefully because as we said according to 25 years of experience that we have in pmoi, those requests will be used in political and propaganda purposes and unfortunately the humane aspect in those requests by the pmoi leadership is very weak and worthless , for that reason you and your staff should be very careful and vigilant in dealing with the pmoi operatives.

We are very grateful and thankful to you for helping our brothers and sisters directly in Ashraf garrison and we hope that our friends specially our sisters and the women captives in Ashraf garrison can get in touch with you and your staff directly and use your medical aides, and also you and your staff can see them and cure their physical and psychological problems and also you by knowing them will find out more about the facts and warnings which we mentioned to you in our letter .

We also got in touch with your colleagues in Paris and informed them about the facts which we mentioned them to you .

Human Rights Abuse in the MEK

Rights Group Calls on UN to Rescue Women from MKO Captivity

An Iran-based rights group voiced deep concern about severe violation of human rights in Camp Ashraf, the main stronghold of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization in Iraq, and The catastrophes taking place for women in the MKO cult urged the UN to rescue the female members of the group who have long been held captive by their ringleaders.

"We, the Association for Defending the Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) in the Middle-East, believe we are required to draw the attention of the authorities of the international bodies to the catastrophes which take place for women in the MKO cult," the ADVT said in a letter to UN Women Executive Director Michelle Bachelet on Sunday.

The letter further mentioned that women in the MKO stronghold in Iraq are deprived of their most basic rights like marriage, pregnancy and even hairdressing.

It also revealed that the MKO ringleaders even force married women to divorce and force them to have hysterectomy in a bid to avoid pregnancies.

A defected member of the MKO revealed in March that the female members of the group had been living in captivity for more than 25 years and were not even allowed to appear in public places alone.

"It can be firmly said that 95% of the women in Camp Ashraf (the terrorist group’s resort in Iraq) have not even been allowed to step in Iraq’s public and recreational places alone all throughout the last 25 years," the defected member said.

The former member of the MKO also revealed that nearly 70% of the female members of the terrorist group are single and have not been allowed to marry anyone in or outside the group.

And only a total of 10% of the married members have been allowed to have children, he added..

The defected member mentioned that since 1989 the MKO has deprived its male and female members of the right of marriage, meaning that they are not allowed to form a family and the children of those members who had married before 1989 were taken away from their parents and sent to the European countries.

Also in December, Makki Rafi’ee, another defected member of the MKO, had revealed that the ringleaders of the group have ordered their agents to torture dissidents in a bid to dissuade defection.

Rafi’ee disclosed that agents of the MKO resorted to various types of torture and pressure against him during the last 15 years, and that he had been jailed in the notorious Camp Ashraf in Northern Iraq all these years.

"After 15 years of imprisonment in Camp Ashraf and tolerating various tortures by the agents of the grouplet, I managed to escape from the Camp and surrender myself to the Iraqi security forces," he added.

Also, a November 2010 report by the Habilian Association, an Iran-based human rights group, said that under the direct order of MKO’s Ringleader Maryam Rajavi, the ranking members of the terrorist group in the Camp of New Iraq (formerly known as Camp Ashraf) do not allow members to receive medical aid and treatment, healthcare and other services unless they provide the group’s leaders with given levels of cooperation.

Based on the order, the dissident members are deprived of medicine and other medical services or, at least, face much hardship and difficulty in procuring their necessary medicines.

The rights group added that the new measure came after protests remarkably increased inside the group, specially in the camp. Right groups are gravely concerned that a large number of MKO members may lose their lives soon if UN, human rights and Iraqi officials do not force the group leaders to end their tortures and pressures against the dissident members.

In relevant development, a report revealed in November that Ahmad Razzani, a veteran member of the MKO, had been killed inside the Camp.

According to an August 2010 report by the Habilian Association, the MKO leaders have increased their pressures and control over the members of the terrorist group to prevent possible defection and escape by unsatisfied members.

Reports also said that all exit and entry doors have been locked and none of the members, even those suffering from acute diseases and illnesses, are allowed to leave the camp.

MKO ringleaders have ordered the camp guards to stage snap inspections of the group’s members and their personal belongings under the pretext of finding the lost weapons.

Such behaviors have sparked discontent among a number of MKO members and made them escape the camp and return to their anguished families.

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a letter last year in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.
