Open Letter to President Nicolas Sarkozy To President Nicolas Sarkozy Dear Mr. President The Global war on terrorism calls for prompt action against terrorist moves wherever they might threaten people’s peace and tranquillity. For long a blacklisted terrorist group, Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), has taken safe haven in your country. Recently, the EU has maintained MKO on its terror list, but simultaneously the group organized a rally in the vicinity of Paris as a show of objection to the decision and demanded to be removed from the list. It is so paradoxical that a banned terrorist group is at the liberty to gather a claimed number of 50,000 supporters at Park De Expositions Villepinte, north of Paris. In spite of the fact that MKO continues to be on the EU list, its activities have neither been restricred nor barred. Such negligence is expected to be legally investigated in your government. Legally adopted countermeasures like that of freezing assets hardly seem to be productive against a terrorist cult that none of its financial sources is legal. Has the coalition forces’ control of MKO Camp Ashraf proved to have contributed to group’s ceasing suspicious terrorist moves and interfering in Iraq’s domestic affairs? In fact, MKO’s unpredictable and circumstantial solution findings to confront a crisis make it a hard task to counteract it by the means of conventional precautionary measures. It is a typical tactic exploited by MKO to take advantage of the escalated political discordances between parties and factions in Western countries to advance its political ambitions. It takes position in the front of any party that it has an iota of hope to advocate the group’s stances whether it considers any political or ideological affinity with the party or not. An evident example can be traced during French presidential campaign when the group enthusiastically campaigned in the favour of the Socialist Party. But now the group has changed position seeing your rival’s defeat. Once more it takes a chance, being disappointed in the past, to provoke your government against Iran to take a hostile position, to halt the process of the June 17th dossier accusing it of terrorist allegations, to demand removal of its name from the French list of terror and consequently, and to unfreeze its assets in France. MKO has proved that it has the potentiality to take advantage of a variety of terrorist leverages and cult-like moves to accomplish its ends. A clear example of such moves is a wave of self-immolations committed by the group’s members in 17 June 2003 following the detention of Maryam Rajavi. Indeed, similar moves can challenge your government as in her 30 June speech Rajavi states that her group’s uses all “means and resources to force the Council to accept the Court ruling and remove the PMOI from the list”. Not paying the least respect for democracy and democratic approaches, MKO takes shelter behind the democratic potentialities practiced in your country as a granted strategy to move on. In fact, it is an organizationally adopted strategy to hypocritically adapt to the political, cultural and social milieu of the country the group chooses to situate a bastion. Once its leaders shook hands with the ousted Saddam and colluded with him against the Iraqi people but now it organizes shows of solidarity with those same victimized people utilized as tools to survive in Iraqi soil. It seems to be for the first time that a globally proscribed terrorist group defiantly challenges the world and impudently engages in political manoeuvres not only in the Western countries but in a country that is located in a region enflamed in turmoil for decades. It is hard to believe that the West can give any justification for the remiss and negligence that might be a result of disregarding to abide by internationally adopted resolutions to combat terrorism. At the present, MKO insidiously attempts in three fronts of Iraq, Europe and America to muster advocates. In the US, in spite of being re-designated as a terrorist group, MKO is creeping into the inconsequential rifts between the Neocons, the Pentagon and the State Department, in the Europe, in spite of being maintained on the EU list of terror, is misleading a number of former political activists or opposition parliamentarians, and in Iraq, despite the Iraqi government decision to expel the group from the country, it colludes with dissident and insurgent groups and factions against the Iraqi legitimate government to intensify the tension in the region so as to secure its stay in Iraq. To what extend MKO achieves success depends on the amount of the cost the West has to sustain. There are evidences that the world never consents to another terrorist phenomenon similar to al-Qaeda, but can the West’s double-dealing concerning MKO can in any way minimize the threat of emerging another al-Qaeda? The cost, for sure, would be much greater for the West to sustain. Currently, MKO’s strategy is aimed at a vast media and propaganda blitz in Iraq and the Europe to provoke the democratic capacities of these countries to show inevitable reactions that ensue from a loose of tolerating the group’s blasphemies. That can be defined as the zero-point where MKO can justifiably apply violent means to defend what it believes to be its democratic rights. The strategy is explicitly put into practice when Maryam Rajavie in her speech flagrantly uses a disrespectful tone whenever addressing the EU Council of Ministers calling them with many names, as it always does when referring to its opponents and critics, and accusing them that their just decision is the outcome of an attempt to appease the Iranian regime. Moreover, she blatantly makes a mockery of the EU’s decision when saying “Nevertheless, the mountains finally labored and they have given birth to a mouse”. Mr. President, It seems that at this juncture a close monitoring of MKO’s run media deem necessary to develop an exactly calculated judgment of MKO’s positions and its long-term objectives concerning your government. The daily publicized maladroitly political positions against Western countries in general, and your government in particular, bear between the lines the existential threats of the organization. Recurrently expressed in MKO leaders’ speech and messages, the group poses an “existential threat” to Iran. It can be considered as a warning posed to whoever sides in a front against MKO and, of course, nobody sides with terrorists. Questions arise over appearance of Mojahedin cult terrorists in Europe Dear Secretary Rice, A violent attack was made on a public meeting in the FIAP building in Paris, France by the Mojahedin Khalq proscribed terrorist Organisation (run by the self-appointed, life-time leaders of the cult Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi). Several participants were seriously injured.
The incident, which took place on June 17th, was allegedly led by Mr. Mohammad Hayati, a well-known terrorist leader who is accused of participating in the assassination of Americans in Iran during the time of the late Shah, as well as commanding the massacre of Iraqi Kurds and other criminal activities under the rule of Saddam Hussein. Documents and evidence concerning Mr Hayati’s participation in the Paris attack have been handed to the French authorities and this is currently under investigation.
Mr. Hayati was among the 3,800 MeK combatants who were disarmed and held captive by the US army during the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Mr Hayati’s appearance under a false name and passport in Europe has raised serious questions among many in Europe.
On 28th June, we witnessed the clandestine TV program of the Rajavi cult broadcasting footage of Mr. Hayati claiming that he has been in Ashraf Camp over the past weeks.
Our investigation into the matter has revealed that this transfer of a known terrorist from Camp Ashraf to Europe and his return within 11 days has not been a single incident. From what we understand, quite a few people have "gone missing" from Camp Ashraf since 2003. If so, the camp is even more of a disgrace than is generally known.
The State Department Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism in its April 2007 report has emphasized that:
"…Many MEK leaders and operatives, however, remain at large, and the number of at-large MEK operatives who received weapons and bomb-making instruction from Saddam Hussein’s regime remains a source of significant concern" This concern must, of course, be heightened when such operatives are believed to have surfaced in Europe in the circumstance of a violent attack on a public meeting.
In addition to the surfacing of MKO terrorists in Europe, we also have concerns about the participation of Professor Raymond Tanter (Iran Policy Committee, an open lobbying group for the cult), Alireza Jafarzadeh (Representative of the cult in Washington) and 20 more close contacts of this proscribed organization in a ridiculously expensive show in Paris organized specifically to promote the leader of this terrorist organization. The venue has been hired by an American Company and the costs, including the transfer of actors, lobbying personnel, Afghani and Tajik refugees, is estimated to be between 1.5 to 2 million US dollars.
Dear Secretary Rice,
While we have every respect for the USA’s policies in pursuit of her national interests around the world; while we acknowledge that US efforts to bring the Iranian government in line with the international will to halt enrichment of uranium are within the rights of the US Administration; and while the attempt to bring normality back to the streets of Iraq is everyone’s wish, we are increasingly concerned about the unchallenged activities of the Mojahedin cult. In particular we are concerned about the possible misuse of their terrorist capabilities by some elements in Iraq and nowadays in European and North American countries.
The open hand given to the leaders of the cult, and their freedom of travel to and from Camp Ashraf, while for the last 3 years we have witnessed the hardship imposed on those who have rejected the cult (of which around 200 are still, after four years, living in harsh conditions under tents in the Iraqi desert) is surely not acceptable to your good self. And the responsibility for injury and/or possible assassination of critics of the cult in European countries by some known, registered terrorists like Mohammad Hayati, would certainly lie at the door of the US Administration (which is in charge of security at Camp Ashraf) before it becomes the responsibility of any European Law agencies.

As survivors of the terrorist Rajavi cult, which has been investigated by the US and about which many thoroughly researched reports have been written since 1994, we urge you to instigate a full investigation into the situation at Camp Ashraf in Iraq. We draw your attention in particular to the meetings that take place between the supporters of Saddam Hussein and the MEK. We also urge a thorough investigation into the whereabouts of those people who have been missing from the camp from 2003 up to now.
We also urge you to take the activities of the Iran Policy Committee, the representatives of the MKO, including Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh who has regularly appeared as an ‘Iran analyst’ on Fox News, and the other lobbying bodies in your country, seriously.

The State Department Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism on April 30 released the list of designated terrorist organizations. What is the focus of attention concerning the list is not that Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, MKO) continues to occupy the status it has held since 1997, but the report has a more critical tone on the MKO than previous reports when it comes to describe the organization.
Noted in the released report, “In addition to its terrorist credentials, the MEK has also displayed cult-like characteristics”. It also adds that “MEK leader Maryam Rajavi has established a ‘cult of personality’". Such remarks are promising in that the emergence of another al-Qaeda are anticipated and thus prevented. The very identical structural, ideological, and cult-like characteristics of MKO with that of al-Qaeda denote that, regardless of quantitative differences between the two, both maintain potential threat against global peace and security.
But it has to be acknowledged that terrorist phenomena like that of MKO and al-Qaeda before anything are products of political miscalculations and dereliction of the contemporary history, as al-Qaeda was supposed to be an instrument to confront what was presumed to frustrate accomplishment of democracy. But the fact was disregarded that such instruments initially diverge from the route of democracy. The paramount challenge of the latter years of the past decade proved to be injection of wrong policies, in an attempt to apply low-cost but useful strategies, in confrontation of unproven threats. Many political analysers, for instance, have come to unanimous agreement that al-Qaeda was an outcome of a rush by the US that was obsessed with the imagined threat of rising Communism in the region and resolved on an alternative to combat the threat. Recurrence of another similar phenomenon depends on your earnest endeavour to develop a deep and non-instrumental recognition of MKO.
Although bitter, the experience of al-Qaeda proved that curbed passionate drives and rationality can possibly frustrate repetition of tragic disasters. Your insistence to keep MKO on the list of designated terrorist organizations well indicates that how logically and deeply you have perceived unfathomed threat of the group regardless of a number of “members of Congress from opposite sides” who seemingly have come to recognition that the group can be effectively used as an instrumental client to accomplish certain political goals. The “displayed cult-like characteristics” you have referred to in the report are definitely the result of a complicated phenomenon within Mojahedin called Ideological revolution, an incident that, in spite of its significance for MKO, the group shuns revealing its contents for the world outside. No doubt, Mojahedin will be greatly perturbed to be under scrutiny when it is discovered that their opportunistic political mottos are in total contradiction with unrevealed principles of their ideological revolution.
To develop a good understanding of MKO’s ideological revolution and how the group managed to conceal the contents depend on the will of the parties that advocate utilization of MKO against Iran even though they are well aware of the fact that the group maintains no political weight and legitimacy. But it should be noted that the same very small protection the group receives, compared with the high price the public opinion and the world in general have to pay, can help embolden it indulge in further belligerently terrorist and cultic activities.
However, your latest position accusing MKO of cult-like practices, which ex-members avow to have been under its predominant influence, might compel the group, regardless of its propaganda blitz and bombastic claims, to present justifiable reasons, if there are any, to defend allegations. Of course, the ex-member activists in the recent years have published documentaries and memoirs unfolding facts about the group’s medieval cultist features. Besides, there are also evidences corroborated by MKO itself that not only appreciate the ideological revolution within the group, but also impart its significant impacts on the insiders. A look at Bijan Niyabati’s “A Different Look at Mojahedins’ Ideological Revolution”, originally in Persian, is one of the best instances drafted by an enthusiastically devoted member. No doubt, you would be amazed to discover how the contents of this book contradict the group’s media rhetoric denying cult allegations. Furthermore, it is depleted with heaps of evidences that contributes to undeceive the deluded Western advocates.
To have MKO under control in Camp Ashraf is a serious responsibility on your shoulders. Of course, in the near future the group has to face its destiny and be expelled from Iraq. But it would not be the tragic end awaiting MKO. Camp Ashraf demonstrates the crystallization of MKO’s adopted cult-like strategy and ideology; the members within the camp have to be regarded as victims of a cult who need to be rehabilitated.
The transfer of these members to any other place out of Iraq is nothing more than an impetuous political move to diminish the group’s threat in Iraq. But it should be noted that relocation of the group, now discredited as pariah, with those same retained cultist features, in no way reduces the cult potentialities that perforce threatens the psychological health of the citizen wherein they are to reside as well as aggravating the psychological affliction of the forcibly held members. Another point, MKO’s prime moves to start its internal revolution and to transform into a cult was instigated when the group was in France. That is a good circumstantial evidence that Mojahedin are capable of accomplishing their objectives and stabilizing their position regardless of the domicile.
With respect to the complexity of MKO now regarded as a cult, let’s look at it from a different angle. That is, regardless of any political consideration, consider it an abnormally diseased body that needs circumspect attention to recover. There are much more horrible potentialities that Mojahedin maintain.
Your report states that “Despite U.S. efforts, MEK members have never been brought to justice for the group’s role in these illegal acts”. Your delinquency in the past has imposed high prices on the world to pay. To keep MKO on the terrorist list fails to be the sole solution to confront the threat of the group as a cult and the remiss in efforts has to be redressed.
What seems to be urgent at the present, before dealing with the MKO’s terrorist crimes and before the members are dispersed, is to avail assistance of the professionals with expertise in dealing with the dangers of the cults and helping the therapy and recovery of the members. Your domination over the Camp Ashraf entrust you the duty of taking measures to ensure that the world will be safe against the cultic harms and threats of the Mojahedin cult in case the group is unleashed from the bounds of Ashraf.

Dear M. Sarkozy, On Sunday 17 June a meeting held in Paris supporting the cultural integration of Iranian refugees in French society was violently disrupted when fifty thugs associated with a destructive terrorist cult called Mojahedin Khalq (MKO) attacked the guests and sponsors of the meeting with knives and broken glass.
Thirteen people were injured, three seriously, and many arrests were made. It is only due to the prompt action of French police that further injuries were not sustained. The violence was quelled by the use of CS gas.
The violent attack on this public meeting was planned by Mohammad Hayati, a leading member of the MKO. Three months ago this man was in Camp Ashraf in Iraq under the protection of US forces. Hayati, a known assassin with a history of terrorist activity going back to the time of the Shah in Iran, is now in France planning and conducting terrorist activities in Europe. The Mojahedin Khalq maintains its Headquarters in Auvers-sur-Oise.
I would like to know what your government is doing to protect not only French citizens, but the citizens of other countries, from violent attacks by this group.
I am a British citizen. I had been invited to speak at a public meeting in Paris. The subject of my speech was to warn against the spread of exactly this kind of violence which is used by destructive cults. Due to the lack of security I was unable to exercise my right to speak. Other people invited to speak included religious leader Sheikh Sango from Paris.
The Mojahedin Khalq claims to be opposed to the Iranian regime. Would you please explain why in France persons with no connection to the Iranian regime have become targets for violent attacks by a terrorist cult, in particular by Mohammad Hayati, a known terrorist who, I repeat, was in Iraq under US protection only three months ago and is now in Paris.
It is surely not acceptable that violent activity by a destructive terrorist cult continues unchecked. I ask again, what steps your government is taking to protect not only French but also other European citizens while in your country?

Sepehrad has proved to be a key link in the MOSSAD-Mojahedin nexus in recent years. Sepehrad also feeds disinformation to Hedayat Mostowfi and Ali Safavi, two long-standing MKO members who are key figures in the organisation’s propaganda activities. A frequent traveller to Israel, Sepehrad is now considered a veteran MOSSAD agent. UNSCR 687 prohibits Saddam Hussein from committing or supporting terrorism, or allowing terrorist organizations to operate in Iraq. Saddam continues to violate these UNSCR provisions.

Iraq shelters terrorist groups including the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), which has used terrorist violence against Iran and in the 1970s was responsible for killing several U.S. military personnel and U.S. civilians.
Iraq shelters several prominent Palestinian terrorist organizations in Baghdad, including the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF), which is known for aerial attacks against Israel and is headed by Abu Abbas, who carried out the 1985 hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro and murdered U.S. citizen Leon Klinghoffer.
Iraq shelters the Abu Nidal Organization, an international terrorist organization that has carried out terrorist attacks in twenty countries, killing or injuring almost 900 people. Targets have included the United States and several other Western nations. Each of these groups have offices in Baghdad and receive training, logistical assistance, and financial aid from the government of Iraq.
In April 2002, Saddam Hussein increased from $10,000 to $25,000 the money offered to families of Palestinian suicide/homicide bombers. The State Department Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism on April 30 released the List of designated terrorist organisations. Once again Mojahedin Khalq organisation (MKO, MEK, aka the National Council of Resistance, NCR, NCRI) continues to occupy the status it has been designated since 1997.
While we support the recent report of the State Department, we would like to point out some important issues related to this report.
As ex-members of Mojahedin Khalq Organisation we, over the past few years, have repeatedly emphasised the capabilities of Mojahedin Khalq (aka Rajavi cult) and its potential to carry out terrorist operations in European and North American countries. And we have repeatedly made the point that the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation is a destructive cult which uses typical cult methods (i.e.: brain washing and ideological cleansing) to prepare its members to carry out violent acts.
We have also insisted during our meetings with various officials in Europe that a series of sophisticated devices and technologies have been bought by the members of the cult from Europe and smuggled into Iraq. These consists of (but is not limited to) night vision goggles, special anti mine shoes, and many other apparatus for carrying out terrorist activities. Maryam Rajavi (co cult leader), between 1993 and 1999, started these smuggling operation from her HQ in Auvers sur Oise in France and used her network to its full extent during 1999 and 2000 when it was the height of its terror campaign.
Now after years the State Department has finally been referring to a small part of these illegal activities, and reports:
“… Also in 2001, the FBI arrested seven Iranians in the United States who funnelled $400.000 to an MEK- affiliated organisation in the UAE which used the funds to purchase weapons…”

Although the new report mentions specific and significant points which could not be found in the original report of 1994 but we can say that has still fallen short of pointing out some specific, important, clear and proven points.
Considering this shortfall, we the ex members of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (Rajavi Cult), who have survived imprisonment and torture in this cult and have had clear insight into the inner world of Mojahedin Khalq terrorist camp Ashraf, would like to point out the following:
– The retaining of the Mojahedin Khalq Orgaisation in the list of Terrorist entities is a just act but is not enough.
– As has been stated in the report, the Mojahedin terrorist group clearly displays cult like charactristics and is now a threat to western countries including the United States of America. It is clear that before the group engages in a new wave of violent activities (similar to the self-immolations carried out in 2003), western govenments should take approprate action to prevent such disasters.
– We have emphasized over and over to the Prime Minister of Iraq Mr. Al Maleki and to Mr. Talebani the President of Iraq in numerious letters that the remaining 3400 members of the Rajavi cult in Ashraf camp near Khales are part of the body of this organisation, many of whom have themselves been experiencing mental and physical torture at the hands of the leaders of the Mojahedin. They have been denied any contact with society or even members of their family for years and their account should be seperated from the account of the leaders of the cult. You are aware that more than 200 of them who have seperated themselves from the Mojahedin are still in the adjecent camp called TIPF and need help to get back to the normal society and integrate.
– As has been mentioned again in the report, the Mojahedin have been instrumental in the suppresion of the uprising of the Shiites and the Kurds by the Republican Guards of Saddam Hussein. The report reads:
“… in 1991, the group rportedly assisted in the Iraq Republican Guard’s bloody crackdown on Iraqi Shia and Kurds who rose up against Saddam Hussein’s regime; press reports cite MEK leader Marym Rajavi encouraging MEK members to”take the Kurds under your tanks.”…”

Our association asks for your intervention to prepare a court to bring the leaders of this cult to justice. A petition has been signed by about 400 ex members of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation asking for the indictment of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, life-time, self-appointed heads of the horifying Mojahedin Khalq Organisation. The signitures are continuing.

Dear Mr Talebani, President of the Republic of Iraq We would like to draw your attention to the fact that after 4 years from the time of disarmament of the Rajavi cult in your country, around 3000 members of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (MKO) are still being kept in a camp near Khales, (Diyali Province) called ASHRAF. Many of these people, who are considered as the body of this cultish organisation, have themselves experienced the physical and mental torture imposed on the members by the leaders of the cult. Due to the cult practices, these people have been denied their basic human rights including the right to have contact with the outside world and/or their family members. As you yourself, even in the time of Saddam Hussein’s rule, used to emphasise,”The account of the leaders of the Mojahedin Khalq should be separated from the ordinary members of the cult”. We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that out of 800 people who have managed to escape the cult about 200 are still kept in the adjacent camp called TIPF. Although the disaffected members have clearly denounced violence and terrorism, their faiths still not clear. Dear Mr President, Sabz Association was established by some ex-members and ex-officials of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (Rajavi cult) who now reside in European countries. One of our aims is to help our friends who have been taken hostage by the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (Rajavi Cult). Our aim is to help these people to integrate back into society and start a new normal life away from the cult and violence. Dear Sir, A family of one of these hostages has recently revealed that during his contact with the US army, who along side Bulgarian forces are protecting the existence of the Mojahedin terrorist group in Iraq (the family has been trying to contact their loved one for the past decade), unfortunately the US personnel in charge (in Ashraf camp) has asked the family to directly contact the Mojahedin safe houses in Europe and ask permission from them to visit their loved one. (The written document is available and can be produced upon request). The family have taken the matter to the American Embassy in their country of residence and have officially protested the suggestion of contacting a proscribed terrorist organisation in Europe . The American embassy has declined to answer any further questions upon receiving a copy of the document. Similar situations have been reported by other families residing in European and North American countries. We would be grateful if you would nominate someone for further investigation into this matter, in which case we would be more than happy to put the officials in contact with the families and related documents. Dear Mr President, Four years after the fall of Saddam Hussein and the establishment of the democratically elected government of , it is questionable why the demand of these families to have access to their loved ones is being ignored. You are of course aware that history will judge the willing coalition led by United State of America in a completely different way than judging your good self and your elected Iraqi government. And you are of course aware that the expectation of the people in the region from you and your government is different from their expectation from the coalition forces. You are aware that the desperate families of these captives before having any hope of help from the American army are looking for help from their Iraqi brothers. Dear Mr Talebani, We urge you to intervene to end this harsh bizarre situation according to conditions set out by the Fourth Geneva Convention (under which the US claims to be holding the captured individuals) to guarantee the expected access of the families to their loved ones without the presence of the leaders of the Mojahedin cult, outside the perimeters of Camp ASHRAF, as even in the very exceptional occasions where there has been a brief meeting between the detainees and their families, the Mojahedin leader have been present and the individuals are visibly afraid of talking openly and privately with their families.

I would like to directs your attention for a few moments in order to give you a different view of the Mojahedon-e Khalq of Iran and why we think that they should stay in the EU terror list.
For the exile Iranians living abroad, and for those who have fought for democracy and the separation between state and religion it is a regrettable day when a terrorist leader can be so enthusiastically received by a number of the EU parliamentary Members.
The MKO (Mojahedin-e Khalq) or NCRI (National Council of Resistance of Iran) has in our view a dark history in regards to fighting for democracy and human rights. They are responsible of killing thousands of Iranian civilian with acts of terror and bombings of public places. They were regarded as the trusted partners of Saddam Hussein. In the rebellion of the Kurds in 1991, the Mojahedin in support of Saddam Hussein were responsible for the killing of tens of Kurdish citizen of Iraq. Many of our organizations members were members of the Mojahedin at that time and will never forget the famous words of Maryam Rajavi who gave these orders to his army: “do not waste bullets on the Kurds but rather roll over them with your tanks”.
The Mojahedin, under the leadership of Massoud Rajavi oppressed the Kurds in north of Iraq, and gave Saddam Hussein the opportunity to gather his forces and crush the Shi’a uprising in the South of the country.
Maryam and Massoud Rajavi, controls the organization with iron fists and look upon themselves as god-like figures sent to rescue Iran and Iranians and are only accountable directly to god. They have turned Mojahedin into a religious cult. They forced every husband and wife to get divorced and made sure that any feelings directed towards family, friends, mothers and children became a crime in of it self. The only “legal” feeling of love was to be held for the Rajavis.
In our view, there is no pride in supporting of a organization and individuals who have no belief in human rights and resort to torture and murder of those who believe differently then themselves.
In order to better understand the Mojahedin-e Khalq cult status, we remind you that after Maryam Rajavi’s arrest on 17 June 2003, over 10 member and followers of the Mojahedin set themselves on fire in protest to the arrest. This action can only be attributed to a cult where individuals are brainwashed and made to believe that their lives mean nothing and can be used as a tool.
I hope you would be able to find the time in order for us to sit down and talk about this in greater detail.
We are delighted that you spend time from your busy schedule to pay attention to the current situation in Iran and what’s happening in and around the Middle East. We hope that you will continue to show your interest in this very troubled area of the world.
As you know there are two sides to any story, and now that you have heard the Mojahedin’s side, you should also make an effort to listen to our side of the story. As both victims of the Iranian regime and the Mojahedin-e Khalq, it is necessary to get to know both perspectives.
