Iran Zanan Association in meetings on Human Rights

Members of Iran Zanan Association attended meetings on human rights issues in Geneva.

The meetings were held to meet nations’ representatives. They also took an action to protest against human rights abuses, committed within the camps of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization(The MKO), in front of the United Nation’s office in Geneva.

Former female members of the MKO, Zahra Moie’ni ,Ms. Batul Soltani , Ms. Homeyra Mohammadnezhad were representatives of Iran Zanan Association who took an action on September 29th. Their action was aimed to expose the true face of the MKO as an undemocratic, anti-human rights entity.

The three independent women who succeeded to leave the MKO gave awareness to their audiences about the controversial issue of families of the MKO members who are not allowed to visit their loved ones taken as hostages in Camp Liberty, Iraq.

Iran Zanan delegation warned about the most basic human rights abuses committed by the MKO authorities .

The attendees handed out hundreds of flyers and brochures in order to inform people and nations’ delegations.

MKO Cult efforts to extract money from the suffering families of Cult hostages

The MEK has started forcing people in Tirana to call their families in Europe, North America and Iran to extract money from them. Using such stories as, we need money for hospital or, I’m in prison or, I need money to pay a smuggler to get to Europe. Anything to get money.

 If a family agrees to send money, the MEK offers various ways to pay. But when two families asked their relatives if they received the money they were told they hadn’t.

The families then traced the money they sent and found it had gone directly to MEK bank accounts about which their relative had no knowledge.

After this was exposed, some families have answered phone calls by their relatives by saying “yes, we’ll give money, but only if we can see you and give it to you directly. We are not rich enough to pay for John Bolton or Rudi Giuliani to make speeches in Paris!”

The Farsi Commentariat has reacted with disgust that families who only want a visit after thirty years are being labelled “agents of the regime” and “Iran’s Intelligence agents” and accused of visiting Camp Liberty to “kill” the MEK there, but are now being contacted and told lies by their relatives in an effort to fool them into paying to sustain Rajavi’s cult empire.

Ouver’s citizens sympathize with the MKO hostages families

On Monday September 28, 2015, Mr. Ghorbanali Hosseinnezhad the father of Zeinab Hossein Nejad and Mostafa Mohammadi the father of Somayeh Mohammadi and her sister Hurieh, went to the town hall of Auver Sur Oise to submit a letter of appreciation to the mayor Isabelle Meziere who welcomed the two families of the girls who are taken as hostages by the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO). The MKO’s headquarter is located in Auver Sur Oise in the suburb of Paris and the leader of the group Maryam Rajavi resides there.

The two fathers were then escorted by the police to Municipality of Auver Sur Oise and the office of the governor general of Val d’Oise province.

The two fathers also took their cause to the office of the local newspaper La Gazzette carrying placards and flyers and photos of their daughters.

Under the official permission of the local authorities, they presented a statement in French, spreading among people in the neighborhood where Local authorities and citizens offered sympathy to the two suffering father. They expressed their sorrow urging the necessity of pushing Maryam Rajavi to allow families of the group’s hostages to visit their loved ones and to lift ban on the members of the cult-like group to have free access to the free world.

Mojahedin Khalq Ringleader Admits Massacre of 10,000 Iranian People

The ringleader of the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as MEK, PMOI and NCRI) Massoud Rajavi in letters to Mikhail Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union, confessed that he had ordered the killing of over 10,000 Iranians.

The three letters which date back to 1985 were sent to the Soviet Union and the communist party 4 years after Rajavi escaped to France. A copy of each letter can also be found in Stanford University’s archives.

In these letters, Rajavi and Farhad Olfat, an MKO representative, have demanded $300mln aid and granting asylum to the MKO members who had fled Iran.

But what attracts attention in these letters, is Rajavi’s crystal-clear confession that he had ordered the killing of over 10,000 Iranians across the country which proves Tehran’s claims that the MKO has killed over 12,000 Iranian people.

The MKO, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly-established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by the MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who argued for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

The US formally removed the MKO from its list of terror organizations in early September, one week after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent the US Congress a classified communication about the move. The decision made by Clinton enabled the group to have its assets under the US jurisdiction unfrozen and do business with the American entities, the State Department said in a statement at the time.

In September 2012, the last groups of the MKO terrorists left Camp Ashraf, their main training center in Iraq’s Diyala province. They have been transferred to Camp Liberty. Hundreds of the MKO terrorists have now been sent to Europe, where their names were taken off the blacklist even two years before the US.

The MKO has assassinated over 12,000 Iranians in the last 4 decades. The terrorist group had even killed large numbers of Americans and Europeans in several terror attacks before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Some 17,000 Iranians have lost their lives in terror attacks in the 37 years after the Revolution.

Families’ approaching Camp Liberty was covered in the Iraqi media

The suffering families of the members of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MeK, MKO, Rajvi Cult) approached Camp Liberty several times to try their chance to visit their loved ones trapped inside the camp in Iraq by the cult. Their demand was simply having a short visit with their relatives, which was denied by the cult leaders who in response called them spies and mercenaries.

Only those whose relationship with the camp residents was verified were allowed to the outside of the camp and no reporter or photographer had the chance to be present in the place. Despite all the restrictions, the news of the families was covered in the Iraqi media.

For instance the Iraqi daily paper “Kul Al-Akhbaar” published photograph and news of the families on Monday September 7. The images and the translation of the coverages in as follows:

The families of Iranians captured inside Camp Liberty desire to visit their children

Baghdad – Kul Al-Akhbaar

Some Iraqi civil societies as well as families of the Iranians captured inside Camp Liberty in Baghdad by the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization demanded visiting their loved ones. These societies urged the Iraqi government, based on human dignity, to arrange meetings between the families and their children who are captives inside the cult for many years.

It is worth mentioning that the extremist MKO has committed terrorist crimes against the two nations of Iraq and Iran in the past decades. This organization turned to become a tool in the hand of the previous Iraqi regime (the regime of Saddam Hussein) to be used anytime anywhere anyhow.

Iraqi Daily Kul Al-Akhbaar publishes this humanitarian demand and urges the Iraqi government to adopt a serious action to arrange meetings between the families and their captured children.

Facebook account for liberty residents! An outrageous lie

Families of the residents of Camp Liberty who had picketed behind the gate of the Camp probing the visit of their loved, did not succeed to meet them during the due time that they were allowed to picket by the UN officials. The leaders of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO) claim that all Liberty residents have Facebook accounts with real IDs !! through which they can contact their families. They labeled the families at Liberty gate as agents of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and Quds force!

Elderly parents and siblings of the MKO hostages at Camp Liberty suffered the hot and dusty weather and dangerous situation of Iraq in the hope of visiting their loves ones but Liberty authorities did not allow any visit and even threatened that they would stop the relocation of the residents to Albania.

On one hand, leaders of the Cult of Rajavi (the MKO) claim that the entire Camp residents themselves abstain from meeting their families, on the other hand they allege that all residents have Facebook accounts to contact their families. As a matter of fact, making fake personal Facebook accounts with the identity information and photos of liberty residents is a simple tactic for the MKO propaganda to deceive the UN officials.

According to several international reports such as “No Exit” of the Human Rights Watch and the testimonies of a large number of defectors who fled the MKO, members of the group have no free access to the free media. They are allowed to watch the MKO’s satellite channel and a few recorded news reports filtered by the authorities of the camp .They assess the presence of families at the gates of Camp Ashraf as a serious motive to push them to escape the cult, Massoud and Maryam Rajavi fear families as a powerful lever that might influence many other members of the cult of Rajavi to liberate themselves.

The claims and threats made by the MKO authorities indicate that the MKO is definitely a destructive mind control cult that takes its members as hostages under a horrific manipulative system. Social networks including Facebook is an unknown phenomenon for a lot of the Camp residents. Given that they have access to social networks, it sounds weird that they prefer it to a face to face visit with their families who are just a hundred meters away from them.

Suffering families of MKO hostages letter to the UNHCR

Visiting our loved ones in our basic right; Say families of MKO hostages in Camp Liberty

Dear UN High Commissioner for refugees,

We, the undersigned are relatives of the people who have been detained against their will in the Liberty Camp by MKO; we come here with difficult situation of Iraq to visit our close relatives. As you may be aware, while some of us have been deprived for years to visit our loved ones, unfortunately once again we were kept behind the Liberty Camp for several hours and have not been allowed to visit them by MKO. This attitude of the organization officials is inhuman and against human rights and we expect the conviction of these inhumane behaviors by international organizations such as your organization.

We as the relatives of those persons in the Camp only want to visit our loved ones, without asking for their exiting from the Camp, under the auspice of UN and ICRC and with presence of organization representatives. We believe this is their basic right of those persons to visit their families even in the War condition, which has been mentioned in the Geneva Conventions.

In this regard we strongly request the UNHCR to take an urgent action seriously in a way to assist us. We appreciate if UNHCR could facilitate the process of visiting with our relatives in the Liberty Camp.

Suffering families try again to visit their loved ones in Camp Liberty

Some 24 family members of those trapped in the MKO cult in Camp Liberty in Iraq, from Iranian provinces of Yazd, Khuzestan, and Khorasan-e Razavi, who had come to Iraq to visit their relatives, went to the closed gates of the camp.

The families stayed all day long today (Monday) outside the camp with the hope to gain just a short visit, but they were denied to get the slightest news from them. Their desperate calls made the heart of every human being hurt.

Unfortunately the local officials did not let the reporters or any camera into the area. The only films and photos in hand have been taken by one of the local workers. Some families were not happy to be shown in a photo which is respected.

The cult leaders responded to the presence of the families and threatened the UN and Iraqi officials that if the families do not leave the place they would stop sending residents to Albania.

The leaders of the cult made it clear to the officials of the UN and Iraqi authorities that they would under no circumstances allow the residents to visit their families and described it as being beyond imagination.

Massoud Rajavi’s fear of the cult members visiting their families is quite understandable. He knows well that within cultic relationships; if the suppressed emotions are awakening, the effects of brainwashing would fade away and the individuals would go back to normality.

Families of MKO hostages visit mayor of Auver Sur d’Oise

In line with families gathering in front of Camp Liberty in Baghdad, two families of MKO hostages visit Auver Sur d’Oise mayor in France.

On Tuesday september8, 2015 Mr. Ghorbanali Hosseinnejad and Mr. Mostafa Mohammadi along with his wife; Mahboubeh and his daughter Huriyeh met the Mayor of Auver Sur d’Oise and her deputy.

Daughters of both families are hostages of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Cult. Mohammadi family were once the active supporters of the group. Mr. Husseinnejad also was a veteran member of the group.

Expressing solidarity with the families of MKO hostages, the Mayor of Auver said:” …We don’t want them [Maryam Rajavi’s Cult] to stay in our city… they try to pay some of the cities’ personalities and officials to be at the Cult’s service. … However we would ask them to come and reply your appeals and questions on the fate of your children. .. Here is a democratic state and the democracy principles require the issue to be resolved through negotiation… “

The families reiterated:” Maryam Rajavi should personally come and answer our questions, because Maryam, herself is responsible for the kidnapping of our daughters as minors and for endangering them by transferring our daughters from France and Canada to military camps of the cult in Iraq.  In the Cult camps they have been denied any family contacts as well as marital life.

The officials of the municipal then received the families in the Town hall and contacted the MKO Cult requiring them to come and reply the families’ demands.

However the Cult response was insulting and cursing at the suffering families.

The Cult officials didn’t attend the municipal and just their henchmen and thugs were stationed outside the Town Hall to report everything to their commanders.

The authorities then removed the MKO Cult members in order the families to hold a protest in front of the Town Hall. The families of MKO hostages handed out leaflets and CDs and tried to publicize their plight and to expose the Cult atrocities against them and their loved ones. The Rajavi Cult attempts in thwarting the families’ efforts in exposing their crimes was futile.   

The municipal and gendarmerie authorities declared their support for the families’ public activities in calling for their demands and escorted them with seven cars outside the city in order to prevent the Cult thugs from chasing or harming the families.

New groups of Liberty residents transferred to Albania

55 more MKO members who were resided in Camp Liberty, Iraq as a temporary transit location relocated in Tirana early September, Neday-e Haghighat Website reported.

Among the transferees is Somayeh Mohammadi; daughter of Mr. Mostafa Mohammadi who has been trying to meet Somayeh for many years now. He has travelled to Iraq and in front of MKO Camps along with his family several times. He also went to the doors of MKO Camp in Auer Sur d’Oise France and was violently attacked by the Cult’s thugs.

Another known transferee is Amir Aslan Hasanzadeh. Amir Aslan’s Mother ; Ms. Abdullahi is an active member of NejatNGO Families who has several times travelled to Iraq and in front of MKO Camps to meet her son.

We wish all MKO Cult hostages to be released and reunited with their families.
